Good move because I predict your former bank will fail. This insolvency problem with the banks could swamp the FDIC and might cause some folks a long wait for their money. Thank you for letting us know about your actions and (D-) bank!!

Oh, snap! The last time I looked, our bank was “C” rated. It’s one of the three or four biggest banks. Now they are “D” rate. Asset quality is a 1 of 10, being the lowest rating they give. It’s time to pull the funds out and empty the safety deposit box. They may limp along another year or so as where is the money going to come from if they close it. I can not say that the big “W” will be out of business next week but who wants to wake up Monday morning to the headlines “Bank Holiday”? I fear we are running out of time.
