Dollar Ready to Die, We are Losing our Country-Jim Willie

goldenjackassBy Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com

Financial newsletter writer, Dr. Jim Willie, says, “The dollar is ready to die . . . I think the funeral march starts this year.  I have been saying the year is not going to close out the way it started.”  What will Americans increasingly see coming as the dollar crisis picks up speed?  Dr. Willie says, “I think they are going to see pink slips from their employers.  I think they are going to see higher prices for fuel and food.  I think they are going to start to see advertisements for jobs from Chinese run companies on U.S. soil.  We are losing our country.  I think we have already lost our country. . . . We’re going to lose our ability to make decisions independently now.  When decisions are made on various fronts, I think we consult the Chinese.  I think the Chinese have been consulted regarding the Ukraine action.  I think the Chinese have pretty much ordered the divorce between the Saudis and the United States.  We are losing control of our country.”

On global events that include politics and money, Dr. Willie, who holds a PhD in statistics, says, “Isn’t it interesting that every month we have an acceleration of events. . . . Ukraine was a trap and the United States walked into it.  Now, we are seeing the quagmire.  Next, we will lose NATO.  In Iraq, a similar thing has happened; but in the Arab world, a trap has been set and the United States is walking into it.  The result is going to be very fuzzy and uncertain, but I can guarantee you it will not be favorable to the Obama Administration and their relationship with the Pentagon. . . . When you get right down to it, the United States funded and trained both sides of the conflict.  Now, we’re caught with the consequence of that.  What we trained secretly and funded secretly to attack Syria, as our allies, they are attacking our other allies in Iraq.  So, the United States is on both sides, caught in the middle, and walking into a trap.”

A big ongoing theme of Dr. Willie is the world moving away from use of the U.S. dollar in global trade.  It is accelerating, and Dr. Willie contends, “It’s becoming a parade, and the U.S. is going to succeed in isolating 90% of the world, and in doing so, will isolate itself.  You can’t sanction the whole world that does not want to use the dollar.  If you do that, what you do is define the non-dollar world.  You crystalize it.  You bring it into shape and enable its birth.  That’s what the United States is doing.  We must focus on the fundamentals.  The dollar is toxic. . . . We have ‘quantitative easing’ (QE) and unsterilized bond monetization; in other words, using printing press money to sustain Treasury bond demand–that’s toxic.  That goes against everything central bankers taught for 70 years until 2008.  So now, they are purveyors of heresy.  It makes the dollar toxic because all the assets are mispriced.  You have Wall Street fraud that is largely permitted. . . . So, we have derivatives, Wall Street fraud, QE, 0% interest rate, and endless war to defend the dollar.  We’re to the point now where it is quite clear that nations who announce they want to get off the dollar are declared terrorists, and we wage war against them.  It is a simple as that, and I have been saying that for three years, and it is finally sinking in to the meatheads who do not subscribe to The Hat Trick Letter.”

Dr. Willie goes on to predict, “London and Frankfurt are being set up to become RMB hubs.  That stands for renminbi, which means the peoples’ money. . . . So, China is setting up London and luring them into becoming an RMB hub to do Chinese government bond trading.  London loves it.  They are a financial center.  I believe China is doing that to splinter off support for NATO activity against Russia.”

On the subject of the U.S. supplying natural gas to Europe, Dr. Willie says, “They talk about supplying Europe, but they don’t even have the ability to deliver it to Europe.  They don’t have LNG (liquefied natural gas) ships to deliver.  There are inadequate European ports to accept.  They don’t have pipelines across the Atlantic.  What kind of idiot devised this plan?  I’ll tell you who, the guy sitting in the White House.”

On the split between the Pentagon and the CIA on foreign military policy, Dr. Willie contends, “Keep in mind, the entire Ukrainian and the entire Syrian projects on the military side were NOT done by the Pentagon.  They were done by Langley (CIA).  The Pentagon is saying we don’t support all these moves.  We don’t want to expand the war.  We don’t want confrontation with Russia and China.”

In closing, Dr. Willie says, “We have lost our nation, lost our industry, lost our viability, lost our rule of law and, now, we are relying on attacks on other nations that want to abandon the dollar.  What the United States is going to succeed in is isolating 90% of the world and, therefore, isolating itself.  It’s already happening in spades, and you can’t stop it.”

Repent, for ‘The End’ is Near!!!!

I agree with Willie. We cannot stop this. Thus, we had better be ready as much as possible. The Flood is about to happen here in the good ole USA. We have flood waters of everything from debt, illegal immigration, wars, lack of economy, societal erosion, and most importantly the lack of empathy and the ‘ignorance is bliss’ philosophy….

The good news is that God knows exactly how each and all of us will die. No man? Can stop that plan. That should give us confidence to walk boldly and to prepare without fear. As the book says, ‘if God is with us, then who could be against us?’ And also, ‘ do not fear the man that can kill and mutilate the body only, but fear the one that can also cast the sole into hell forever (my paraphrase). Let God be true and every man a liar!

Myself, I hate these dudes. I really do. But I know that it is the end times that God forewarned us about long ago. I live in this World, thus I must make the best of it….good luck Americans and our fellow brothers and sisters from abroad….

      UGLY;

DID U HEAR ANY REPUBLICANS, OPPOSE THIS LEGISLATION? Did we hear a cry outta washington from the stupid republicans, who everyone tauts as our saving grace for america. baaaahhhaaa. stupid voters, as celente, and PCR, says, dont vote, as u vote for the same party. they are all in it together, snowing G5, and the rest of the sheeple.
      http://shariaunveiled.wordpress.com/2013/06/19/why-did-the-u-s-government-recently-purchase-30000-guillotines/
      – The use of guillotines for “governmental purposes” was lobbied for and passed in the U.S. Congress

      – The information we received is that 15,000 are currently stored in Georgia and 15,000 in Montana

      – Are the beheadings by muslims today meant to desensitize us against U.S. Government beheadings in the future?

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. – Revelations 20:4

HB 1274 authorizes the state of Georgia to execute citizens by guillotine:

Georgia House of Representatives – 1995/1996 Sessions HB 1274 – Death penalty; guillotine provisions Code Sections – 17-10-38/ 17-10-44 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT
1- 1 To amend Article 2 of Chapter 10 of Title 17 of the Official
1- 2 Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the death penalty
1- 3 generally, so as to provide a statement of legislative
1- 4 policy; to provide for death by guillotine; to provide for
1- 5 applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other
      1- 6 purposes.
      SECTION 1.
1- 8 The General Assembly finds that while prisoners condemned to
1- 9 death may wish to donate one or more of their organs for
1-10 transplant, any such desire is thwarted by the fact that
1-11 electrocution makes all such organs unsuitable for
1-12 transplant. The intent of the General Assembly in enacting
1-13 this legislation is to provide for a method of execution
1-14 which is compatible with the donation of organs by a
      1-15 condemned prisoner.

      source: http://www.cephas-library.com/nwo/nwo_guillotine_provisions_in_georgia.html

      One question to consider:

If Georgia was planning to utilize guillotines as a method of execution, how could this be carried out without purchasing guillotines?

by, Ted Gunderson (Retired FBI Agent)

Think about this; Why does the US government need 30,000 Guillotines and over 600 Million rounds of hollow point bullets?

There are over 800 prison camps in the United States. All fully operational and ready to receive prisoners. They are all staffed and even surrounded by full-time guards. But they are all empty. These camps are to be operated by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) should Martial Law need to be implemented in the United States and all it would take is a presidential signature on a proclamation and the attorney general’s signature on a warrant to which a list of names is attached. Ask yourself if you really want to be on THE list.

      • Ugly

        AlOls….
All of that stuff is pretty scary stuff. I doubt they need any of those things for peace time resolutions. Sounds like plans for a slaughter-house that involves millions wasted away….

          4. Snopes and urban legends are unreliable sources of information. They have been cited in the past for giving “half-truths”, undocumented facts and opinions based on unreliable information. Urban legends and Snopes are NOT the Encyclopedia Britannica. Snopes is a husband and wife team, neither of which possess a security clearance. Their names have been run through the Defense Security Service (DSS) and the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) database and none of the owners of those two sites have ever possessed a security clearance. The programs mentioned in this article are Classified TS Programs. No one can verify nor dispute these programs without a TS Clearance. • Old Dog

As a godly man, why do you drink from the well of a ungodly person?

“Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. But if you have a bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down form above, but is earthy, natural, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exit, there is disorder and every evil thing. But the wisdom from above is first purse, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy.” James 3:13-17

“Remind them of these things, and solemnly charge them in the presence of God not to wrangle about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of the hearers. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness, and their talk will spread like gangrene.” II Timothy 2:14-17

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14

Why do you go to the world and to ungodly men like Willie to understand what God shall do in these Last Days?

Are you looking for the Lord’s return? Then be careful from what well you drink your water? It is clearly evident Willie is not a godly man, are you sure you should be drinking the water he offers for sale?

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers.” Psalm 1:1

The definition of scoff is to speak to someone or about something in a scornfully derisive or mocking way. That’s Mr. Willie. Don’t be poisoned by him.

      Be alert, yes.
      Pray, absolutely.
Get your counsel from the ungodly?
      Not wise.

      • Old Dog

        Pardon, please, the misspelling.

Wisdom from above is first PURE (not purse).

      • Guns N Rosaries

War, famine and pestilence are the three scourges from heaven to punish mankind. Nothing about economic collapse, fema camps or the Chinese takeover of this country.

What I am saying is that we’re not coming here to hear Dr. Willie preach the Gospel….we’re here to get some good information, perhaps a few laughs, and maybe even a wee bit of entertainment.

Willie: “90% (of yanks) do not know what money is….”
And: “vampires, satanists and war mongers make up Washinton, DC.”

    • art barnes

Yea, just a meat head here from the Western Front, but even meat heads know that most Americans are as you described. Interesting living here in the land of the Knuckle – walkers isn’t it?

      • SamAdams

Its very frustrating. Many of us here have likely tried to explain this to people we know. You get blank stares or “I just don’t want to hear about it.”
A century of public ‘education’ and a half century of t.v. have done their propaganda work on the American people. They are intelligent enough to know all about the strategy for a football game, but act dumb when it comes to learning what money is and how it works. Most don’t know and don’t want to know. (Of course, the money/bankster system is the key to this tyranny.)

‘Land of the free, home of the brave’ – – – – what a pathetic joke.

  5. Colin - 'the farmer from NZ'

    Greg
Congratulations – Quite simply an extraordinary interview.

    JW rocks.
He gives us the whole nine yards and we need to hear this no matter where we reside in the world. The financial world, as we know it will cease to exist, and IMHO an awful lot of this is going to transpire within the next 30 days.

I really hate to say this , but quite frankly it needs to be said:
The Obama regime is a bigger threat than Hitler was in the 1930′s.
I say this because not only is the current regime completely delusional, but they are even more dangerous.
Hitler threatened the freedom of the entire world.
Obama threatens the very existence of mankind.

    • Jerry

      Colin.
I totally agree. Forget about Obama and Congress. They are owned by the Banking Cartel.

      • Charles H.

You guys finally getting around to this?! It gets deeper.

    • Galaxy 500

      Colin
Obama terrifies me. At best, he’s incompetent at worst, he’s the epitome of evil. He’s a feckless coward with a chip on his shoulder and he is very thin skinned. Fear not, his goal is to destroy America and with the flood of parasitic illegal aliens, I feel his work is done.

      • Colin - 'the farmer from NZ'

        Jerry, Charles,G500. Hi Guys
My comment “Obama threatens the very existence of mankind” I thought would bring a chorus of outcry from the followers at Watchdog especially when I went as far as comparing him to Hitler who undoubtedly ranks as the number one villain of all time.
However – not a single peep out of anyone in disagreement.
Or was my statement so “out there” and ridiculous that it didn’t even warrant a response?
Anyway, if you believe I am correct in my view from ‘down under’, you need to be rid of this creature. Republican, Democrat, no matter what political persuasion or group you belong to, you owe this to yourselves and your family and whats more to all of mankind.
Please remove him from office before your economy and your country resembles Germany 1945.
And while you are at it, lock up this maniac and try him as the war criminal that he really is.

        • Charles H.

          Colin,

These boards are Intelligence monitored. ANY wording about dealing with Oblame-o will code us higher on a scale for apprehension. Politically, if Congress does not show the will to impeach – nothing will be done. And the reason no backlash of comments came is, I think, because of a consensus of agreement. America, my friend, is not what it once was: the people, the culture, the values are simply not there to stand-up to do right. I fear the wheels are off the road, and the crash is immanent. I wish it were otherwise. Just keep calling your straight shot comments as you see them.

        • Galaxy 500

          Colin,
The left throws the Hitler moniker around like a Molotov cocktail. Hitler was a world class orator albeit an evil one. Obama reads a teleprompter.

      Don’t get depressed . . . . . get very angry.

  10. allen ols

    GREG

Their names are familiar to all of us: Cleveland, Flint, Youngstown, Saginaw, Gary, Toledo, Reading, Akron, Flint and Buffalo were all once booming manufacturing cities that were absolutely packed with thriving middle class families. But now most of the manufacturing jobs are gone and all of those cities are just shadows of their former selves. When you drive through many of these communities, you will notice that a lot of people have a really hollow look in their eyes. Decades of slow, steady economic decline have really taken a toll, and even the architecture in these cities looks depressed. But despite all of the decay, there is still evidence that there was once something truly great about these communities. Will we be able to recapture that greatness before it is too late?

A lot of writers make economics really complicated, but the truth is that it does not have to be. For example, if you want your country to have a great economy it has got to produce wealth. And one of the primary ways to produce wealth is to make stuff. Immediately after World War II, the United States had the greatest manufacturing base the world had ever seen and we outproduced the rest of the planet combined. Great manufacturing cities sprouted up all over America and the middle class thrived. It was truly a great time to be an American.

But then we decided to start shipping in cheaper products from overseas. At first it didn’t create too much of a problem for our massive economy, but eventually the floodgates opened up and we lost tens of thousands of manufacturing facilities and millions upon millions of good paying jobs. Our labor pool was merged with the labor pool of countries such as communist China where it is legal to pay slave labor wages to manufacturing workers. Needless to say, our workers could not compete with that and our middle class started to shrink rapidly.

    http://www.theeconomiccollapse.com

    • Diane Ryan

Yes, “It was truly a great time to be an American”. I changed jobs only to better myself or to relocate to a different State. I remember getting every job I applied for.

Our God-fearing Founders’ pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor for liberty and opportunity. Oh what terrible suffering and sacrifices they made for us. But we squandered it. As for manufacturing, I believe it is gone and not coming back. So sad…

  12. woody188

Dr. Jim Willie confirms what many have been saying for years. That the CIA/NSA have been co-opted by the globalists to push the NWO agenda. It’s the CIA pushing for World War III. It’s the NSA spying on everyone. These agencies have been accused of using blackmail and coercion against elected officials and businesses. Both these agencies should be immediately suspended as they are in violation of the Constitution and are a threat to humanity across the globe. Will it take nuclear WWIII to stop these insane agencies?

I do question the assertion that the BRIC’s are going to amount to counter force to the dollar any time soon. Russia had a hard time hosting the Winter Olympics. Brazil nearly blew it setting up the infrastructure for the FIFA Internationals. India would be insane to drop support for the dollar and risk their technical service off-shoring industry. These countries will have trouble maintaining more than one reserve currency. Not to mention risking the repercussions of defying Washington. It seems to me there will be some time before the BRIC’s are able to mount any challenge to the current paradigm. The only wild card is if the USA continues to make bone headed moves on the world stage. The USA has become it’s own worst enemy. And it seems it’s the CIA and the NSA behind the problem.

JW is full of it, a gold backed currency is a relic. You can back your money with anything, it’s when parties agree is what makes it real. That is where our rulers get us because they know you need an intelligent coherent society to do this.
That is why they are fragmenting the world and lowering the overall IQ so the people cannot mount a system to countercheck the fascist setting up this world wide dictatorship that will be imposed by gunpoint. WELCOME TO THE COMMUNAL DICTATORSHIP!

    • Galaxy 500

I agree that JW is full of it. We could back our currency with bushels of wheat and corn. We feed the world. But the problem I have with a “backed” currency is that for it to be worthwhile, you’d have to be able to go to the bank and trade it in. Thats not realistic for farm commodities but it is for gold and silver. But lets just do without the paper and use gold and silver from the start .

Not one, but two stellar interviews this week, well done! In the more esoteric literature that I love to read, there is a phenomena known as the “hundredth monkey syndrome” which can be equated to a “critical mass concept.” The hundredth monkey syndrome argues that given a population of monkeys on a sizeable island, should the hundredth monkey learn how to use a particular tool (e.g., a rock to smash coconuts) all monkeys in that population will spontaneously understand how to use the tool, irrespective of having seen its use or not.

Although this little missive of mine is more rhetorical than anything else, I can’t help but wonder: with the aid of people like you, Jim Willie, Jim Sinclair, Paul C. Roberts et. al., will the “hundredth monkey syndrome” be applicable, will reality become apparent to a critical mass of people allowing “enlightenment” to wash over the populace like a dawning sun? Or will humanity’s epitaph, carved on our collective tombstone by the “exceptional people” read: “Better Dead than Wrong?”

    Kudos…..

The formal FED Chairman is just one in a long line of those on his side of fence that have a ass kicking coming at some point in time, but one has to remember they also control the emergency paramilitary police forces in our late great country, until our police officers wake up that they are being used to control the insiders ternary nothing can change. The old golden rule adage that those who have the gold rules should be restated that those with the guns rules, always have, always will.

Outstanding Greg! Another superb interview of one of my very favorite guests – Dr Jim Willie is certainly ¨No-Holds-Barred¨!

For whatever it´s worth – Here´s a list of my top 20 favorite guests on your show (besides the two regulars, Greg Mannarino & Fabian Calvo who I also listen to daily on their own sites): Paul Craig Roberts, Jim Willie, John Williams, Rob Kirby, Peter Schiff, Karl Denninger, David Stockman, James Rickards, Mike Maloney, Doug Casey, Eric Sprott, William Black, Jim Rogers, Robert Wiedemer, Catherine Austin Fitts, Jeff Berwick, Michael Snyder, Reggie Middleton, Michael Pento & Bix Weir.

Since I´m listing names, here are ten individuals that I´d realy love to see you interview in the future: Ron Paul, Rand Paul, Nigel Farage, Marc Faber, Michael Savage, Lew Rockwell, Max Keiser, Alisdair Macleod, Sean (of SGT Report) & Egon von Greyerz – and yes, I realize some of these would be quite difficult to arrange. On the flip side here are ten individuals that you´ve had in the past which I did not care for at all: Karen Hudes, Robert Kiyosaki, Charles Nenner, Martin Armstrong, Axel Merk, James Howard Kunstler, Robert Shiller, John Browne, Yra Harris & Nick Barisheff.

Finally, trying not to leave out anyone important, here are other individuals (most are quite prominent) that you´ve interviewed which I try to watch (time permiting) when you have them on: Jim Sinclair, James Turk, Gerald Celente, David Morgan, Rick Rule, Laurence Kotlikoff, David Quintieri, Daniel Estulin, Nomi Prins, Andy Hoffman, Kerry Lutz, Chris Duane, Brandon Smith, Chris Casey, Tom Cloud, Dmitry Orlov & Ellen Brown.

Lets see what other viewers think…

I like all the guests and have derived something from each even if i dont agree
      with everthing they say
From these interviews and your own research you can piece together your own sense of the world
Interviews lasting 20-60 minutes of people not running for office about the state of the economy are instructive

I would add the only thing missing from the show are guests that represent the side that think the economy is fine, fed and foreign policies are sound

  20. Timco

    Greg,

How come Jim Willie, Doug Casey and Bob Chapman, RIP, don’t even live in the USA? Because they don’t want to pay income taxes, and have charges pending against them, that’s why. I find it insulting that these men have all the answers to our problems, but are unwilling to stand their ground, on American soil. Cowards and tax cheats are they.

    • Greg Hunter

      Timco,
These guys post under their real names. These guys are also not “tax cheats” because they have no obligation to pay taxes when living outside of the USA. Really not a very fair comment, especially from someone who posts anonymously. It takes great courage to tell the truth in times like these.
      Greg

      • smaulgld

Actually they do have an obligation to pay taxes. The United States requires all US citizens to pay taxes on WORLD-WIDE income. So living abroad does not absolve them of paying US taxes. There are treaties for the avoidance of double taxation -but they still owe the U.S. if they pay less in their home country.
I can not comment on the tax situations of the guests BUT I have heard Jim Rogers state explicitly that he was a US citizen, a vote and tax payer. I have heard Casey give his reasons for living abroad ( climate, culture-not tax evasion) .
The points of views of these guests stand on their own merit. It doesn’t matter which country they are broadcast from.

      • Timco

        Greg,

You just said, “These guys are also not “tax cheats” because they have no obligation to pay taxes when living outside of the USA”… That’s the whole point Greg. They criticize the USA from afar, but don’t have the courage to live here. These men are the height of hypocrisy. They live outside the USA, paying no taxes, but are happy to cash in on Americans who buy their news letters.

        • Greg Hunter

          Timco,
We don’t see things the same way but thank you for adding your perspective.
          Greg

          • Timco

That’s what makes your site so special Greg. We can all voice our opinion, and still respect each other. Thanks for that!

        • Kenguru

Friend, you really have a perverted world view, let me tell you. With you comment you remind those people in Thailand during Tsunami. Instead of running to a high ground, they were remaining on the beach and making videos. Jim is the one who made it to the high ground well in advance of Tsunami. Why drowning with the rest of idiots? Those who subscribe to his letter are the ones who are seeking the proverbial “high ground”, some in their own country, some elsewhere. Question for you. By now you probably have heard that based on Obamacare all Americans are to be RFIDed in 2017. The average Walmartian doesn’t get it, nor is going to protest it if he or she gets a “free” iPhone. Why would a guy like Jim subject himself to this procedure among the idiots where he can offer his different view and unique knowledge to those who want to learn, be they in the US or elsewhere. There is no glory and sense to die for a bunch of dorks who don’t even know what the fuss is all about, especially if you are treated by the crowd not as prophet but as witch during a witch hunt.

          • Timco

            Kenguru,

You may call it perverted. I call it dignified and respectful to the Founding Fathers. It is they who made our life possible. What would George Washington think about simply leaving this Country when the going gets tough? I will fight for this Nation, not disgrace it’s Founders when the time comes.

Aside from the fact that tax is actually theft, I’d like to see where he stands when the confiscation of bank accounts and pension plans are beginning.

      • art barnes

But Timco does make a point, at least he made a point with me. Having said that, I plan to stay right here on the Western Front, work, pay my taxes and voice my opinion and when the time comes take it to the streets for civil change. I hope you will join me!

        • Old Dog

          “We are losing ‘our’ country.”
Why would someone living in Central America have the right to call the U.S. “our country.”
He gave up that right when he abandoned his country.

          “Smarts” isn’t everything.
I’ll take someone who loves his country enough to fight for it, over someone abandons it and is smart-aleck enough to fleece the Americans he left behind.

          Timco made valid points.

And before everyone gives me grief over “my opinion.”
Well, I have a loved one lying in the grave who gave his life in Iraq for “his country.”
He loved freedom enough to fight for it … even freedom for the Iraqi people.
Only pieces of him came home in the coffin.

Jim Willie ever say anything “good” about America or the American people?
America is more than Washington, D.C. and bankers.
          That’s his crowd.
I happen to know “good Americans” who are trying to be prepared to help others when the fat hits the fan.
They’ll be the ones to help pick up the pieces, if there are any to pick up.
Willie will be in Central America.

          • Timco

            Old Dog,

I am very sorry for your loss. You are the type of American everyone can be proud of. I wish you peace Dear Sir.

        • Timco

          Art,

I agree with you. America has it’s problems, but running away is not the answer. I will stay and fight for my beloved Country until the end , if need be. Not bash and wound it from Cost Rica, while getting rich off Americans in the process. If Jim Willie is so concerned about the USA, maybe he should return and run for Congress, or use his vast knowledge to help save us.

    • Charles H.

      Timco,

I live in the Third-world as a matter of vocation: but as an aside – I think when the SHTF, people in these areas will be in better shape than the US. There are other issues to consider – like cost of living; personal preferences; etc… It is not very profound to rely on the idea of not living in the US as a disqualification to the material they provide. Calling such people “cowards and tax cheats” is hardly a charge anyone should make without support. Give me sources, please.

      • Timco

        Charles,

It’s easy to run away from trouble. It takes great courage to stay and fight for your Country. Jim Willie deserves no respect in my view for leaving the USA, and continually criticizing it. We don’t leave behind what we truly love. Just my opinion.

        • Charles H.

          Timco,

Do not suppose or infer that I run from trouble. That I live in Mexico is a result of conviction in serving my God. I have served Honorably during Vietnam in the Navy. I travel a thousand miles to cast my vote in the US, and not without risk. And when I am in the US – both my wife and I are duly and legally armed. From this standpoint I understand a sense of Patriotism: but I do not use it as a club.
Your criteria for cowardice is too narrow. Anyone in Martial Arts knows to choose their fight, and avoid most of them. I stood my ground in 10th grade, against a bully; and got the better of him. But his bigger bully friend broke my leg before class was out for it. Recently, in front of my home in Mexico – I was surrounded by three twenty-ish kids for telling one of them to turn their car stereo music down. I took a punch in standing my ground and got out of it. And I am sixty years old. IF the time and situation presents itself to Krav Maga some imbecile: yeah, you bet. Or pull the trigger: you bet.
Timco – patriotism is like piety: if you have it – have it to yourself; wave a flag or something. But if you seek to superimpose that upon others, then it becomes Prudery; or in this case a judgmental slander. You assume Dr. Jim Willie doesn’t love America: how do you know? Is every American to love country above their own life? Perhaps his criticism is born of being driven from the country, a consequence and compensation of a bitter choice. You dump pretty hard on Dr Willie. But before you defend your dumping, or dump further – you need to show us that you rise to the hight of your lofty ideals. Tell us of your love, courage, and the fight you sustain for the Country. You throw some hurtful words around pretty easy: now explain how we deserve to look up and admire you. Otherwise – and in almost any case: you don’t condemn others for not living up to your standards. And this is just my opinion. By-the-way: you have yet to explain the “tax cheat” thing.

    • Laura

Doug Casey recently compared our situation here in the US as being very similar to Russia in 1917, Germany 1933, China 1949, and Viet Nam 1975. Someone who was born in Cuba posted that his mother got him out of there in 1958. Point being, there are times when faced with the dangers associated with encroaching abuse of civil and human rights, a perfectly valid choice is to depart for safer shores. Are we then to assume by your understanding, Timco, that all of those people who left those countries before the door of opportunity closed were merely doing so to cheat a system of taxation? I say wake up and smell the fascism. Signs of something much more ominous are apparent to those who will exercise their sensibilities in discerning the observable facts and not just be willing to believe whatever propaganda “mainstream” media outlets are directed to disseminate.

      • Timco

        Mark,

I say stay and fight for your Country, or don’t call yourself an American ever again. Casey would be the first to knock down women and children getting to the last lifeboat on the Titanic. Better to die with dignity than survive as a coward. Have some respect for our Founding Fathers, who were not afraid of a good fight.

        • mark

          Timco,
Sorry I mentioned Doug Casey being that you have such a low opinion of him and can only express your disagreement by disparaging his character and not answering the point I was making in the first place. Okay so stay and fight. That is your choice, but don’t assume that everyone who no longer lives within the geographical boundaries of the continental US are somehow unpatriotic. All I am trying to point out is that not all who left Russia before 1917, Germany 1933, China 1949, Cuba 1958 or Viet Nam 1975 were tax cheats and unpatriotic. I believe it is entirely possible that those who made the choice and took the opportunity to escape with their life and the lives of their families perceived real danger to their own well being and well-being of their loved ones by staying in country and history would prove many of them to be correct for making the choice to leave. Your comment regarding Doug Casey pushing women and children aside to get in a life boat off the Titanic is totally unfair and misses the point completely. You tell me to have some respect for our founding fathers who stayed and fought a good fight, well I would respond the same to you with regards to your comment concerning Doug; have some respect please and don’t disparage another’s character just because in your view they don’t have it in them to stick around and fight a good fight.

        • henry

If you hold it to be self evident that governments are instituted to secure the unalienable rights of each man and woman then you are American. If you don’t, you’re not.

There’s an un-American force in control of the federal, state, and local governments. To fight this force you could confront a pawn who doesn’t know the rules of the game. Or, you could take intelligent action to capture the king. The difficulty is determining who really is the king. If Casey et al., are giving information that helps others survive, why question their tactics?

  22. John M.

Every time Jim Willie comes on your site he just keeps on reaffirming the obvious to people like me. That is: America is done as a country but the reality has not reached the national consciousness, nor will it likely ever. War will probably provide a smokescreen to confuse the minds of Americans who already have minds that are easily confused. I feel that we will be lucky if we are not completely destroyed by angry Americans pillaging the streets and then colonized by a stronger adversary /adversaries who come in to mop things up. I bet China will not allow Global Warming regulations to interfere with their future development of America as we are currently doing. Perhaps the keys of the country have been meticulously planned long ago to be given to the greedy hands of the globalists.
We were blessed as a country with so much (e.g. industrial might, natural resources, rich farmland, ingenuity, a free spirit, etc.) but it has all been squashed and killed by a growing centralized government that is eclipsing authoritative communist-managed economies. Despite Russia’s and China’s rigid commitment to socialism and dialectic materialism, they seem to be moving in a more capitalistic and more free direction than America. Think about what that really means?
All that theoretically remains in America is the ideals of freedom and private property rights, but we know that is dying fast. I think we will be revisited by a more brutal world war than the other two and the globalists will use the chaos to control America and the inhabitants of the world with the promises of peace and security. Of course we will get neither, we will be slaves to the new world order.

    • Diane Ryan

John M, well said. It does seem like we are near the end times. If not, there is hope that we can use our Founders’ ideals of freedom and private property rights to mold what fills the void of this once-great nation. Personally, we can visualize the American Redoubt plus Alberta, BC and perhaps Alaska could coming together. God loves to work with ‘remnants’. That said, topic of last nights Bible study was, ‘You can’t out-guess God’. I’m guilty of that.

I have much respect for Greg, and fellow Watchdogs and pray for you. Preps are great. Camaraderie is priceless.

  23. Larry

Jim, you can stick a fork in us. We are done. The young people who don’t like their bosses
in this country now are going to be absolutely shocked when they go to work for the Chinese. The Chinese do not ask or request that you do something, they demand. The youth who put O into power are going to be shell shocked when the Chinese take over.
If they don’t like their bosses in today’s world, how are they going to make it in the coming world?

  24. Fraser

Looking on the bright side, the age of our (beautiful) planet is around 4.5 billion years and (if we don’t stuff it up) will continue to support life for another 4 billion years. We (modern) humans have only been around for about 200,000 years, so (figuratively speaking) we are barely 1 second into the first quarter of our “game”.

My point is that despite what may come, there is loads of time to fix things and make this a better world for our children and those that follow. However, my gut-wrenching fear is that the lunatics in charge would prefer global nuclear destruction rather than endure a minor (and temporary) set-back. So if we can stop them and prevent that, then we can all move forward with confidence that everything will (eventually) sort itself out.

I can’t answer that question. I heard about the guillotine story over 1 1/2 ago, but since I couldn’t confirm it, I let it go. The information I am posting on Greg’s site is from high level insider sources, that are on top of the NWO agenda. Their information has paned out to be true almost 100% of the time. If its to exterminate Christians as some believe, they don’t a guillotine for that. They use swords traditionally in the middle east to lop off the heads off their victims. In my mind it comes down to the line of thought that Hilary used in Benghazi . What difference does it make? Death is death. No matter the device used to extract it. I personally prefer my family’s tradition of torture and death, which was to bury their victims in a fire ant hill up to their necks, and pour honey on top of their head.

This guy is filled is not just with gloom and doom, but also paints Americans as stupid. We are not that stupid and also dont agree with these ridiculous conspiracy theories that hypothecate that we supported Bin Laden and Al Qaeda. That is just ridiculous. I think the assertions on Obama are true because he is a spineless sponge devoid of any common sense. I think our next best hope is to elect Jeb Bush in 2016. If we elect Hillary, then lights are out in America and we will become irrelevant on the world stage. I lived in Florida during the Jeb Bush years and they were good years as a Floridian. He understands our issues as Americans and those of working women trying to make lives for our families. He is a wonderful man and will be strong enough to confornt the enemies of freedom and democracy and bring back our economy. Most of all, he will use our military might more effectively when confronted with the terrorists and rogue nations that work to destroy our freedoms.

    • Greg Hunter

      Working woman,
You said, “also don’t agree with these ridiculous conspiracy theories that hypothecate that we supported Bin Laden and Al Qaeda.” You may not agree but we did just that. Bin Laden was part of the mujahedeen in Afghanistan which we funded to fight the Russians. Here’s more on that subject one of many I Goggled :http://newsone.com/1205745/cia-osama-bin-laden-al-qaeda/ It has also been widely reported we funded al Qaeda fighters most recently in Libya and Syria. These are not “ridiculous conspiracy theories.”

    • Dwain

Do you know that 65 million jobs out of 137 million total reside in health care (80% of health problems are lifestyle related), bloated unconstitutional Government and education? (godless secular indoctrination). This is according to BLS as of Jan. 2014. Another 16 million jobs are based in retail (corporate feudalism). Leisure and hospitality (hedonics) employs 14 million. Construction (debt) Law (corruption), insurance (plunder) and finance (irrelevance and primarily dependent on above jobs) nearly 20 million. Manufacturing is only 8.9% of total jobs. In brief 110 million jobs are based in debt, disease, debauchery, plunder, crime, pauperism and secular indoctrination. This upside down perversion is possible due to the dollars reserve currency status. When the dollar collapses, a chain reaction will likely bring down all job sectors. Americans are stupid because their salaries depend on them being ignorant of these facts which is the root of the problem. No one seems to be talking about this mother of all points which proves the last sentence. Pragmatic historians will look back explain how corporate consolidation, machine civilization and job offshoring brought about the downfall of the world.

      • Dwain

Whats scary is fiat currencies and high tech economic industry put nearly 6 billion people on the planet in little over 150 years. When implosion occurs, what happens to the 6 billion?

        • Fraser

Dwain, perhaps that’s what all those 30,000 guillotines are for!!! Let’s see 6 billion people, 150 years – that’s 4 per day for each guillotine. BUT history shows that the only way to solve these problems is to hang the criminals and bail out the people (NOT the other way around). So in fact, we only need one guillotine (at 4 per day) and can we PLEASE start with Jamie Dimon, Clinton (any one), Bush (any one) and that complete psycho John McCain?

    • John

Putting the criminal republicans back in charge is not the answer. We have a corrupt two party system in this country. This was all handed to us via the criminal bush family who had the military stand down during their 911 false flag on the USA.

The American public has not elected anyone since the corrupt electronic voting machines were installed. The news media quit doing exit polls because the results did not agree with the corrupt electronic voting machines. Without paper ballots to count or recount, we can’t verify the results.

Most nations of the world took in the nazi scientists & intelligence officers at the end of WW2. We are all now realizing the after effects of those decisions by our leadership.
The whole world is being drawn to war – Hook in the Jaw. Our Father in Heaven is dragging them to their doom, revenge is His – That is our only hope. Not the corrupt two party system that everyone wants to keep putting in office.

And our corrupt two party system is not going to stand down. Just like Jesse Ventura found out, they are going to cull the population because they are uncontrollable, and that is the reason for the run on guns, to make you defenseless.

When Obama was running for POTUS in 2008, people warned that we would be going down a slippery slope of inaction and indecision. We need an informed electorate that will think and vote on the issues conronting our great country. I would submit that the only viable adult left in the room is Hillary for president in 2016. We need a woman with experience, integrity and the will to defend freedom and democracy. Its grass roots time and this is our call to action.

I disagree. There are too many problems with Hillary; too much history of controversy; and she hides herself as much as Obama’s transcripts. What good would strong leadership be is it was totally crooked? No one ever gets a straight answer from her about Benghazi. Vince Foster? She may be the only viable Democrat: but she has totally washed-out on integrity. America needs repairing: not more total Left swinging agenda.

  33. Jerry

Greg, great interview. Jim Willie had a lot of good information, but he didn’t go far enough in his details to fully explain what is happening. The City of London Corporation is orchestrating the collapse of the dollar with the help of the Chinese and Russians. The United States economic system must be collapsed in order for them to have complete control over the new gold backed Yuan system that they plan to install.

Greg, yesterday the major gas pipe line that Jim Willie was discussing was blown up by covert operations sponsored and conducted by the United States black opts. The loss of this pipeline will be a huge blow to the Russian economy, and will put pressure on Putin to respond, and he will. My source has said the City of London Corporation has told him that there will be a war between NATO and Russia sometime between now and the 15th of July. The end result will be the end of NATO, and the countdown for the death of the dollar. Jim Willie is absolutely correct when he says Frankfort will be the new business hub for Europe in the west, just as Shanghai will be the new business hub for Asia the east. The United States will be a nonfactor in all of these new markets, as the rest of the world lines up to do business with China, using the Yuan as the new reserve currency.

What happens to the dollar? It disintegrates in its own toxic waste to a worthless piece of paper and goes the way of the dodo, courtesy of the Federal Reserve, who in reality is the City of London Corporation. Folks, don’t wait to see what happens. You don’t have time.

    • West Tejas

Jerry I’ve followed several of your postings and what you are stating is basically the Mother Of All Predictions. I’ve seen other predictions of this stature pass so always a little skeptical. I will grant there is a lot going on from behind the scenes and something is about to break as Iraq collapses.
I seriously doubt that Russia or NATO would confront each other at this juncture but instead they’d both use smaller countries or militia groups to do their bidding. Maybe if you dug real deep it would be no surprise if Russia is somehow involved with Iraq conflict and perhaps this would be the set which your banker friends refer? NATO allows Iraq to fall which hastens the end of an era and thus the petro-dollar? I don’t know as once again this is the Mother Of All Predictions as the U.S. gets ready to put boots on the ground and bombs in the air.

    . notice how Dr.Willie talks about the trap set for usa;
and that he refers to “the gay prince in the whitehouse”
who will have trouble with the Public military
in contrast to the CIA military running foreign policy .
. just a reminder of how that fits into Illuminati theory:
much of the past 2000 years was run by the Christian empire,
    which eventually got serious competition from the Islamic empire;
and the liberals (free thinkers against forced religious dogma)
    worked secretly to undermine both empires;
they are the ones who planned the 3 world wars
setting the trap by creating Israel at the expense of Islam
    so that JudeoChristians “democrats”
would fight IslamoOrthodox autocrats to the death,
leaving only the liberals to form a global government .
. the liberals are known as the “gay prince”
because they see no rational reason
to hate homosexuality the way the Religious do .
. 9/11 showed you a taste of the beam weapons
    that usa, and of course others, have secretly mastered;
the north side of the planet will be destroyed
before the usa’s economy has collapsed (Fall 2016).

To some extent, comparing economies world-wide – when the US began printing money helter-skelter: most producing nations had to follow in the “race to the bottom” or get stuck with high-value currency and lowered export production. And though they DO have problems – their ace is manufacture. They WILL buy-up great swaths of America and Africa.

Not us. All we have is a debt based society resting on a mountain of fiat paper, waiting for collapse. Forget about the idea of “who’s going to buy their good’s”. They have 1.3 Billion people, not mention the rest of the world to be consumers. They don’t need us anymore. The paradigm shift has already occurred. Get used to it.

thank you for all your hard work. all you can do is present us with what you feel is true, it’s up to us to figure it out. unfortunately, greg we are stuck between the old dogs collecting good pensions for right now, aka baby boomers and the off springs that were given a great lifestyle, who don’t know what work is.
since the late 80’s iv’e noticed one too many times in companies that it was getting near for a baton hand off to the kids to take off with the business and don’t want anything to do with it. why, they have it all, why would they want to work at anything? sell it and they have even more. then back in the 80’s corporations were buying up companies like crazy. deregulation, nafta it was slowly blowing up in our faces. all it took was 911 to bring in the another situation to accelerate our down fall. yet we slept.

  41. Thaddeus Thorn

Good morning Greg. I waited to comment until your readers had weighed in on the latest JW interview. Sometimes success is measured by the diversity of commentary in lieu of the consensus of commentary. You should feel good although I know at times it does not feel that way by the “challenges” of different albeit utterly false positions of those who seek to voice their wayward secular opinion. Scary is it not?

This commentary section is beginning to draw out the 90% that JW mentioned or as some of us know as the “dumbed down” edumencated masses. Those filled full of propaganda who except willingly I might add the teachings of academia underscored by MSM and Hollywood themes. Timco is a classic clearly showing that the individual has never read the U.S. Tax code. I realize that one has to be literate first but GEEZZZZZZZZZZZZ. U.S. citizens must pay taxes on all “World Wide” income. Get it – World Wide! Of course you would know all of this if you ever had worked an assignment (read job) outside of this place. Here is one for you buddy – what other western country has this requirement?

Then we have Working Woman and “these ridiculous conspiracy…………..Bin Laden and Al Qaeda.” Are you serious lady. Oliver North and who he fears should answer that question. I do give you however much credit on the spineless sponge comment. But come on get it together. Again do not be in the 90%.

The hard part about accepting truths is when they fly in the face of your core beliefs, beliefs programmed into an individual from a young and tender age until they become a mental fact. I emphasize mental fact because truth has nothing to do with what you think. Truth is simply truth but I can assure your readers that when faced with the choice of having ones core beliefs challenged by reality most will chose to remain delusional as the acceptance of reality is simply to painful to admit even in the face of utter disaster. In Amerika today you have all of the rights you can afford to enforce and for 99% of us that means none!

Thus why I stated some time ago how callous this is going to become when resources become either tight or unaffordable to the majority of the population. Having experienced this ride in Russia in the nineties I can assure you this is not a common experience that I want to share with my fellow citizens and if a life line is thrown my way to exit to another country where I can eat and survive the only thing you will see is a dust trail left by my accelerating exit. I will not be carrying Fed fiat either!

One final comment KAF stated 47 T stolen……………..I do not dispute that figure. But I wonder who the treasonous folks are? “To defend against all enemies both foreign and domestic.” Seems to me the real enemies of this country are called officers and they work inside a 5 sided building. They have the power and human resources aka administrators to seize and impound the records and personnel of the Federal Reserve and the TBTF Banks who have done more damage to this country than would have occurred if we had lost WWII. Just saying.

    Putin’s Aide Proposes Anti-Dollar Alliance
to Force US to end Ukraine’s Civil War
    By Valentin Mandrasescu
    Voice of Russia Radio, Moscow
    Wednesday, June 18, 2014
    http://voiceofrussia.com/2014_06_18/Putins-aide-proposes-anti-dollar-all

Sergey Glazyev, the economic aide of [Russian President] Vladimir Putin, published an article outlining a plan for “undermining the economic strength of the United States” in order to force Washington to stop the civil war in Ukraine. Glazyev believes that the only way of making the US give up its plans on starting a new cold war is to crash the dollar system.
In his article, published by Argumenty Nedeli, Putin’s economic aide and the mastermind behind the Eurasian Economic Union argues that Washington is trying to provoke a Russian military intervention in Ukraine, using the junta in Kiev as bait. If fulfilled, the plan will give Washington a number of important benefits.

Firstly, it will allow the US to introduce new sanctions against Russia, writing off Moscow’s portfolio of US Treasury bills. More important is that a new wave of sanctions will create a situation in which Russian companies won’t be able to service their debts to European banks.
According to Glazyev, the so-called “third phase” of sanctions against Russia will be a tremendous cost for the European Union. The total estimated losses will be higher than 1 trillion euros. Such losses will severely hurt the European economy, making the US the sole “safe haven” in the world.
Harsh sanctions against Russia will also displace Gazprom from the European energy market, leaving it wide open for the much more expensive liquid natural gas from the US.
Co-opting European countries in a new arms race and military operations against Russia will increase American political influence in Europe and will help the US force the European Union to accept the American version of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, a trade agreement that will basically transform the EU into a big economic colony of the US.
Glazyev believes that igniting a new war in Europe will only bring benefits for America and only problems for the European Union. Washington has repeatedly used global and regional wars for the benefit of the American economy and now the White House is trying to use the civil war in Ukraine as a pretext to repeat the old trick.
Glazyev’s set of countermeasures specifically targets the core strength of the US war machine — i.e. the Fed’s printing press. Putin’s adviser proposes the creation of a “broad anti-dollar alliance” of countries willing and able to drop the dollar from their international trade. Members of the alliance would also refrain from keeping the currency reserves in dollar-denominated instruments.
Glazyev advocates treating positions in dollar-denominated instruments like holdings of junk securities and believes that regulators should require full collateralization of such holdings. An anti-dollar coalition would be the first step for the creation of an anti-war coalition that can help stop US aggression.
Unsurprisingly, Slazyev believes that the main role in the creation of such a political coalition is to be played by the European business community because America’s attempts to ignite a war in Europe and a cold war against Russia are threatening the interests of big European business.
Judging by the recent efforts to stop the sanctions against Russia, made by the German, French, Italian and Austrian business leaders, Putin’s aide is right in his assessment. Somewhat surprisingly for Washington, the war for Ukraine may soon become the war for Europe’s independence from the US and a war against the dollar.

    Hi Greg,

I don’t mean to rain on everyone’s doom parade, but as much as I enjoy Mr. W., I call “50%” BS”. First, point out the last specific time he has been correct. Not the generalities an educated person can say, but the specific things he claims.

He often says the SAME things Soorcha Faal posts on the Internet. Faal is notorious for posting nonsense and has been routinely and thoroughly debunked. Google Soorcha Faal, you will see.

I enjoy JW, but I wish he would dial down the gay prince rhetoric and stick to what he does best.

    • george metesky

Why just in his last public article, he authoratively proclaimed that several nations have started to sell dollars in order to purchase the local currency. Moreover, they were selling their dollars at a 30-35% discount. That just has to be true, because being foreigners, they are an awful lot smarter than American meat heads. And in the column before that one he showed off just what a true whiz he is with math, first multiplying how much gold can be bought with $1B ( 25 tons) by the $400B in the so called Belgium Bulge, claiming it would buy 1,000 tons, not the 10,000 it actually would. But that was probably a mistake any holder of a doctorate degree in statistics could make and so we should not be too hard on him for that. But then he claimed that the play on the 1,000 tons was likely leveraged at 25 or 30 to 1, meaning that it was really a play on 8,500 tons. Sorry, but pretty much any child of 9 or 10 would instantly know that 25 x 1,000 does not equal 8,500.

But hey, Willie was the first to tell us the shocking news that Joe Kennedy had fathered Jimmy Carter. Who knew? And he exposed the United Way for using over 90% of donations for executive pay and perquisites. Just imagine how terribly embarrassed Charity Navigator was, having placed them in the top echelon of charities. A-and let us not forget how Jimbo proclaimed from the roof tops on several occasions that Saudi prince Bandar bin Sultan had been assassinated by the Syrians….O-or, were we not told repeatedly how Morgan Stanley was about to file for bankruptcy protection? Oh yeah, there was also the bombshell announcement that the Saudi king was in a coma from which he would not recover. And did he not reliably report that the CIA was behind both Chernobyl and the Japanese earthquake and resulting tsunami? Now that just has to be true.

Let us also look at his list of “correct” predictions to see just how prescient Jimbo is. ” 6. 2010 the Dubai Credit Bust.” 2010 was when he first made the prediction. The bust did indeed occur, starting in November of the previous year. See: http://www.creditwritedowns.com/2009/11/the-bust-in-dubai-and-exogenous-shocks.html
“7. autumn 2010 the Southern Europe Sovereign Debt Bust” Things started to unravel in 2009 and by April of 2010, the Greeks had already asked for help with their debt load and it was well known that Portugal and Ireland would soon follow suit, perhaps to be joined by Spain and Italy. See:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurozone_crisis

” 12. 2009 the Repeated USGovt Deficits Chronically over $1 Trillion” The deficit for this year is projected to come in at roughly $550B. See: http://www.usdebtclock.org/

” 14. 2009 the USFed Bond Monetization Launch, aka Quantitative Easing: Bush signed it into law in early Nov. of 2008 and the first installment was out the door later that month. See: http://www.opendemocracy.net/openeconomy/ross-heard/qe-timeline-of-quatitative-easing-in-us

“16. March 2011 the Japanese Yen Currency Rise to 125 After Earthquake & Fukushima Event” We can forgive Jimbo for mistaking rise for fall, given that it would take more yen to equal a dollar. But he totally got that one wrong. Rather than fall in value, the yen appreciated as The Japanese were forced to close out their carry trade positions and bring their money home for the massive rebuild that was required. It took a concerted effort by the central banks of England, Canada, America and the US to stop the appreciation of the yen. The yen would not begin to seriously depreciate until Abe took over the reins of government and implemented his economic policies. But even then, the yen would never get close to 125:1, bottoming out at 105.5:1 See: http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=usdjpy=x

“21. 2011 the murder of Mid-level Bankers (not VPs, but know too much)” There is no evidence to show that any mid-level banker has been killed for knowing too much, for when an obituary is written, it seldom states that the individual was murdered because they knew too much. Most were suicides and the rest either accidents or natural causes. If Jimbo’s claim is true, it can only be because he either has personal knowledge or was informed by the killer(s).

What can one say about an individual who proudly puts on what amounts to his resume a bunch of “predictions” made after the fact. You just have to read some old yellowing newspapers to do that. And Jimbo got both his reasoning and timing wrong with the Japanese situation, the yen did not get close to his prediction. Still, in the rather hallucinogenic world he inhabits, getting everything wrong still counts as having been correct. i do not know about you, but if someone came to me looking for a job and handed me a resume such as his, i would throw him out on his backside.

My own sense of Jimbo is that he is a modern day snake oil salesman. Yes, there are the odd kernels of truth mixed in with his pitch, but what he has to say shows that he does not understand his subject matter in anything but the most superficial way. He seems clueless that markets are not 1, but 2 way streets, for he has never advised that now might be a good time to take some profit off the table, instead always insisting that now would be a great time to back up the truck and buy more gold. That approach might work with the feeble minded who have been taken in by the alarmist nonsense he spouts. But anyone with an i.q. at or slightly above room temperature will know that ALL markets rise and fall. Gold has never been an exception.

Jimbo is also way off base thinking that we will return to a gold standard. Gold never has and never will stop what the real problem has always been: government. It is government that wrecks the economy and currency by spending more than they take in. It is super easy to do with gold. The Romans first cut the corners off their coinage and then moved to lowering the purity of precious metal to be found in the coins. FDR simply confiscated the people’s gold and then told them that rather than the $20 and change it cost before for that ounce of gold, it would now cost $35. So yes, it matters not a whit what a society chooses to use to represent money, politicians will always find it easy as pie to screw with it to their advantage and your disadvantage. But even more damning to the case for a return to the gold standard are the lessons to be learned from history. When an economy and currency got into trouble despite the government acting responsibly, it has been because the supply dynamics of the money were altered dramatically. Think of Spain under Phillip II. They were bringing gold and silver home from the Americas by the boatload. That caused the currency to severely tank. Inflation rose by 500% during his reign and the nation had to default 4 times on its debt. America toward the end of the 19th century went through a similar experience with the discovery of large silver deposits out west. America was faced with defaulting on its obligations or demonetizing silver. They went with door number 2. It was so bad, people hoarded their paper dollars and spent their silver ones as quickly as they could lest they be stuck holding them….And with the development of several asteroid mining companies, including one funded by Elon Musk, can we afford to be so lackadaisical in our thinking as to believe that the ships will only be coming home with zinc in their holds? No, this talk of a coming new gold standard is the talk of those who either do not know monetary history, or choose to ignore it. To quote Jimbo himself: “The nonsense is endless and truly moronic, the stuff of mental midgets to consume and lap up.”

Total hatchet job and Not objective. In rebuttal, here is a list of correct and ongoing predictions from Dr. Willie: http://www.goldenjackass.com/forecast.html

          Hi Greg,

Yes, it was a hatchet job; there’d be no sense in denying it. Yet it was far from being total given the vastness of material from which there was to choose. It was my hope that with the sampling employed, the gist of my jab would be manifestly clear.

That my piece was not objective, while technically true (though a bone was thrown his way, granting that the odd kernel of truth is to be found in his work) strikes me as being what one might have expected back if the piece had been submitted to Vanity Fair. Were it that you ever made a similar comment to another commenter who only sang the praises of Mr. Willie, your doing so here would carry more weight. But it is imagined that as you could not question the accuracy of what I wrote, commenting on my style was all that was left.

As for your rebuttal of go look at Jim’s page of accurate and ongoing predictions, let me remind you it is from that very page where i culled the numbered predictions with dates made. It should have been made clearer in my hatchet job. So no, that is no rebuttal whatsoever. But perhaps it should suggest that you take a look at the links i provided therein.
Should you do so and not come away with the understanding that everything Mr. Willie claims to be true must be treated with the utmost suspicion, then perhaps you might care to interview me. i have an outstanding record in predicting horse races already run. Don’t tell anyone, but for those that i got wrong, i just say that i called it anyway because i know that my fans, well they just adore me and they would not bother to look it up.

          Cheers,

          G.M.

    Hi Greg.
Who doesn’t appreciate our monthly dose of wisdom from the Willster? I love the fact that he gives the true, underlying reasons why things happen in the geopolitical arena, instead of the smoke we are fed by the MSM.
From the experience of friends who’ve lived overseas, I can attest to the fact that the USA is the only country in the world that demands its citizens pay income tax while resident in another country. The ONLY country. The IRS is so desperate for money, this is what they do. In that vein, I ask you and your audience to please hear me out on something a little outside of the box which definitely requires courage – but is a solution to the impoverishment and slavery the average American is facing:

When you know your tax dollars are used to fund millions of rounds of hollow point bullets that you know are eventually going to be used against you, how can anyone continue to say it is patriotic to pay taxes? When you know your tax dollars are used to fund NSA spying on all of your emails, phone calls, computers, tweets, Facebook pages, etc. how can anyone continue to say it is patriotic to pay taxes? When you know your tax dollars are used to fund wars-for-profit against people you have no argument with and who have never attacked America, how can anyone continue to say it is patriotic to pay taxes? When you know your tax dollars are used to build FEMA camps in which to eventually imprison you if you dare to speak out, how can anyone continue to say it is patriotic to pay taxes? When you know your tax dollars are used to support corrupt, stupid politicians operating under the GUISE of representing you (who are secretly working AGAINST you) and who are really taking orders from the multi-national corporations and global elite via the CFR and RIIA, how can anyone continue to say it is patriotic to pay taxes? When you know your tax dollars are used to arm to the teeth every single government department (including the FDA for Pete’s sake) against YOU, how can anyone say it is patriotic to continue to pay taxes? When you know the once great economy, spirit and Constitution of the USA was brought to its knees PURPOSEFULLY by its own politicians no less in order to transfer power to the east and to usher in global communism, how can anyone continue say it is patriotic to pay taxes? Obviously, one can go on and on giving examples. The FACT is – by paying income tax every single American is paying for his or her (and our children’s) own DEMISE. It’s like paying someone to come in and take all of your possessions, beat up your family and lock them in the basement! Isn’t that INSANE? Aren’t we complicit in all of this? Of COURSE we are. We are PAYING for the implementation of the police state and WE KNOW IT. Right?
I am probably alone but I couldn’t give a rat’s ass. Look at it this way: I for one hold in the HIGHEST regard anyone who can escape paying US income tax because it means that many fewer dollars being spent (without our approval I might add) on these destructive, inhumane, treasonous plans. This whole rotting, stinky steady progression towards enslavement of the American citizen via poverty and force could be cut off at the knees immediately if enough people refused to file an income tax return next year. How do you starve a vampire? CUT OFF ITS BLOOD SUPPLY.! Duhhhh! It’s up to us to save OURSELVES. SPREAD THE WORD.

    • george metesky

      Greetings Sam,

Two quick points on your comment.

      1) Japan also taxes its nationals living abroad.

      2) With respect to your idea of how to starve the vampire, not filing your income tax return will lead directly to having a bunk mate in the big house. However, if you file but do not include a cheque with your return, you should remain in your own home, free. And just keep it in mind that if you owe your bad Uncle more than $50,000, you will not be able to leave the country.

      Cheers,

      G.M.

If you want something real to worry about, invite john Casey or David Archibald on your show to discuss the impact of AGW on the man of the street and how we are actually starting to see global cooling. There are many notable legit interviews about this such as the BBC

Hello Greg, great interview! I like the way you get Jim to give us his insights as to how the monetary and economic aspects of our global melt down tie in with the political posturing by the governments and alphabet agencies. I know he has to be careful in divulging the more insidious sides as to what is going on as that is why he is no longer in the US but may fear the long arm of the “law” retribution wise. In any event we can all see what is going on and it is absolutely baffling how many people are oblivious to our circumstances. Keep up the great work. Investigative journalists are as rare as politicians who speak the truth. Investigative journalism should call the powerful to account, and expose corruption which you so competently do. And for those paying attention great journalism shines a light on the road ahead. Thanks again!

I am not an Obama fan but for the record, outside of the ravings odAnn “Bonkers” Barnhart and Jim “Wet” Willie, I can’t find any evidence that Obama is gay. Itlooks like an unwarranted personal attack. I am ok with incompetence, evil, misguided, over his head, inept but I draw.the.line at gay

Good News about Obamacare in NC. Its getting more expensive.
    http://watchdogwire.com/northcarolina/2014/06/19/obamacare-premiums-rise-steeply-in-north-carolina/
Sen. Kay Hagan has said Obamacare would help North Carolinians, but in fact the Affordable Care Act has proven to be anything but affordable.
When asked about Obamacare last December, Hagan told Politico “Yeah, I would vote for it again. People have to realize that the cost of health care was getting out of reach for everybody.”

Now that the open enrollment period has long ended, and the DHHS has had to report on the details of the health insurance mandate, the cost of health care for the Tar Heel state is still way beyond the reach of many.
North Carolina ranks among the top five states with the highest percentage of increases in health care for individual-market premiums since the inception of the Affordable Care Act.

Take the Tina Turner song, “We don’t need another Hero” remove Hero and add Bush and Clinton…We sure in hell don’t need another Bush or Clinton. And who could have believed that Obama would make Jimmy Carter look damn competent?

  54. george metesky

    Hi Greg,

While your observation that i neglected to mention Mr. Willie’s correct predictions is of course accurate, it does seem rather beside the point. My point was that with a de facto resume such as his, we should treat each of his claims with the utmost scepticism, not that he gets everything wrong. As you have correctly noted that nobody gets it right 100% of the time, the opposite is equally true. Indeed, though you would have been mistaken, you may have fairly inferred from my omission that i was tacitly admitting to the accuracy of the remaining 15 predictions. (There are 2 more that obviously have no place on a list of correctly made predictions, numbers 19 and 22.The first was made 3 years after the fact and the second has yet to occur.)

To be sure, Mr. Willie did get some of his much ballyhooed predictions correct. And I will not give him grief for not having been the first to make some–perhaps all–of the correct predictions contained on his list, for though it is nice to be first, being correct is what truly matters.

Just a quick note on the value of predictions. When lacking a time component, as is the case with most of what Mr. Willie forecasts, the prediction is of very little worth in that it can never be disproved. Without that most critical component, one can safely predict the most outlandish things without fear of contradiction.

The answer to your question of what do i do for a living is that i have been happily retired for the past 15 years. Currently i am engaged in writing a book that examines some of the potential implications arising from my contention that consciousness is hierarchically structured in organic systems and working on improving my go game.

    Cheers

I wonder what the golden Jackass is talking about sometimes. He comes across as being a genius but sometimes says things that don’t make sense. The ports of Vancouver are owned by the federal government of Canada, not China, unless of course, China now also owns the government of Canada. There is no port called “Richie”.

Other than that, an interesting interview. Greg Hunter does a great job with a great website and Jim Willie is usually full of great info.

I lke to remark on the statements that Ukraine was “a trap that the U.S has fallen into”.
I don´t recognize that view in any writings I have seen.. It can however turn out to be a self-inflicted trap as things unfold, but from the beginning the U.S presence there is carefully planned and orchestrated by the americans. Using the well known pattern of interfering in areas of a growing rebellion turbulence the U.S have been able to overthrow regimes and take firmer control of oil trade in african countries. This has left the affected countries culturally and financially destroyed with societies in chaos,0 ongoing terrorism and groups fight for who will be the next to rule. If this is the only result the U.S can accomplish in its imperialistic egoism it is something to be deeply ashamed of for any american. Now the U.S is trying something similar in Ukraine striving to increase its military presence all around the borders of Russia. This is serious war mongering orchestrated to provoke the Russians and eventually bring about war with the help of the EU/Nato. The Russian annexation of Crimea is a direct consequence of the U.S meddling. So far considerable provocation is directed at Russia with the hope that they will launch a massive Ukraine interference to help put all the blame on Russia and motivate further war aggression.
However the russians may prove to be a tougher animal to blow away than african dictatorships. Russia have been sitting on the sidelines during all these arabic springs carefully watching the dirty tactics played out. And they have learnt what the U.S is up to. So far Russia have shown great restraint and likely a lot of the U.S expected results so far have been a failure. The Ukrainian involvement is getting more and more embarrassing for the U.S as much of the guilt that was going to be projected on the russians have so far not played out and the sentiments are beginning to shift in how the outside world look at the conflict.
The eurasia project and closer ties to China is bringing Russia away from the dollar dependency. In the midst of the Ukraine crisis unfolding Russia signed an enormous gas supply deal with China that is unprecedented in any such agreement so far. http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/05/21/us-china-russia-gas-idUSBREA4K07K20140521 Instead of the U.S putting up an automatic enemy attitude towards Russia in the best of worlds they could be cultivating considerable trade development to mutual benefit. Instead the U.S with the CIA as the political strategy implementor is on a dark journey towards something very destructive and ill fated that could draw Europe into a worrisome downturn. A situation that could be something totally different had it not been for the aggressive american politics aimed at protecting the dollar trade, military expansion and the meddling in the affairs of remote countries. America was know for something else not so many years ago, now imperialistic aggression, violence and interference has become a U.S trademark in politics..
