Trump Feel Good Financial Narrative Crumbling-Craig Hemke

By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com

Financial writer Craig Hemke is looking beneath the pie in the sky high stock market to the shaky foundation that is trying to hold up the so called “Trump Bump.” Hemke says the “generally accepted narrative” is failing and points out, “If we go back a couple Fridays ago, the March employment report was terrible.  It was something like 88,000 jobs.  The latest other data on inflation is coming in negative, not just below expectations, but negative inflation.  So, this whole generally accepted narrative is crumbling.  The other part of it was higher interest rates and a stronger dollar.  The dollar is down 3% or 4% year-to-date.  So, that ain’t working too well.  With the idea of higher interest rates, yeah, the Fed has increased the short end . . . but everything from 2-year to 5-year to 10-year to 30-year are all down.  That’s just flattening the yield curve, and anybody that has taken Econ 101 knows that is a precursor to recession.  So, this whole notion that this is a layup and Trump is going to cut taxes and spend all this money and the economy is going to boom . . . I just think this is bunk, and I have said that from the word go this year.  It continues to play out that way. . . . The banks want this story told that everything is just fine. . . .You are told that things are going to get better.  It’s right around the corner, and it’s just not a mathematical possibility that it will.”

Hemke says the system is being propped up and is very weak and contends, “These markets are quite literally held together by . . . electronic baling wire and digital chewing gum. . . . When you see this disconnect from economic reality, you know, hardly anybody working, record amount of people not in the labor force, the miniscule amount of growth, but yet the stock market is 21,000?   When we talk about geopolitical risk when the system is already simply held together in a binary fashion of ones and zeros, the whole thing can be brought down pretty quick.”

One of the hottest hot spots is North Korea, according to Hemke. If there is war, the death toll could be exponential.  Hemke contends, “I think Trump is looking at this and is thinking I am not going to let this North Korea thing hang over my head for four years or eight years.  Something bad is not going to happen on my watch.  As soon as his domestic agenda stalled:  health care, not going to be tax cuts this year, and infrastructure is off the boards at this point, I think Trump thought,  I am going to take care of some of this international stuff.  This is truly frightening stuff.  There are 20 million people that live in Seoul (South Korea) and the North Koreans have had 60 years to fortify its positions with artillery guns and all that stuff.  If something, anything happens that starts the shooting over there . . . you are not going to be able to take out all those fortified positions in a day’s worth of bombing raids.  You’ve got 20 million people in range of North Korean artillery.  We are talking loss of life on a scale we have not seen since World War II. . . .Gold may go up, but this is not why or how we would want gold to go up.  This is a frightening situation.  There are three events this week.  Only one I have ever seen happening before.  Yesterday, Trump invited every ambassador that sits on the UN Security Council to come to the White House for lunch.  I have never seen that happen before.  Trump is having all 100 U.S. Senators for a briefing from Trump, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of State and the Head of the Joint Chiefs.  I have never seen all 100 Senators briefed this way.  Lastly, Secretary of State Tillerson is chairing a meeting of the UN Security Council on Friday.”

Hemke says the last time a U.S. Secretary of State chaired a meeting with the UN Security Council was just before the U.S. invaded Iraq.

  1. Paul ...

As Hemke says: “The last time a US Secretary of State chaired a meeting with the UN Security Council was just before the US invaded Iraq.” … seems we were duped again by the “Deep State” banksters … we sent Trump to Washington “to drain the swamp” … instead we get “Hillary in drag” who intends to start WWIII just as the banksters had planned … will the swamp ever get drained? … unlikely … more probably it will be the Federal budget that gets drained instead!! … will the American people stand up and say “no more wars” … like this man has … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IPcpDKgjF8

    • Greg Hunter

Hillary would have been far, far worse than Trump.
      Greg

      • Macray

        Greg
I agree that H would have been far worse. Great guest today!
        Thank You
One more piece of convincing evidence that the Don went with a false flag event in Syria a few weeks ago.
        http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/with_error_fixed_evidence_against_sarin_attack_remains_convincing_20170421#.WP8IGB5C6ws.facebook

        • Macray

I don’t believe for one second that the Don is not aware of the false narrative his administration is feeding the American public and the rest of the world.
Powerful Strategies and Tactics for Mastering Every Deal?
          Not in my opinion.
If he truly believes this is the smartest way to negotiate, he may have made a very serious miscalculation with a few countries that have the ability to hit back.

          • Greg Hunter

            Macray,
I think he is very much informed.
            Greg

      • Deanna Johnston Clark

        Sooooooo right!

      • Tinfoil hat Canuck

        Greg,

This of course was accepted by a great many Americans and no -Americans as well, but given Trumps’ actions in his first 100 days, it is coming under massive cognitive dissonance. His transformation from CANDIDATE Trump to Deep State Puppet / PRESIDENT Trump has been swift and extremely unsettling. THe banksters and political overlords seem to own him now.

That of course puts alt-media suppporters such as yourself on the defensive, we get that. It also suggests those who were going to vote for ” the devil they know ( Clinton) ” can get all smug.

But from up here in Canada, and I suspect worldwide, the big question remains — With 350 million citizens to choose from, THESE TWO ARE THE BEST YA GOT?! This system of government you have been selling as civilizations exemplar for almost 250 years? Yikes.

        • Greg Hunter

          Tin,
Trump is NOT a deep state puppet. Hillary sure as hell would have been though.
          Greg

          • tulip

Greg, its like comparing 2 devils…… Hillary & Trump.
            Hemke didn’t explain anything …
the rest of us can read the headlines.
I haven’t heard anything insightful re gold for ages….
same ole… time now for the guy w white hair from canada.

            • tulip

              Rob Kirby..

          • Tinfoil hat Canuck

Ok Greg, not going to argue with you, I respect your work and cred — how about we do some more observing of his actions ( not election rhetoric) and re-visit this a couple years down the road? Let the facts speak if you will.

            • Tinfoil hat Canuck

However … before I pull my worry off the table and await further proof, I respectfully submit this article found on ZeroHedge this morning by a man you have had on watchdog more than once ….

Paul Craig Roberts Warns “Trump Now A Captive Of The Deep State”. For yours and other loyal Trump supporters’ consideration.

            • Tin foil hat

              Tinfoil hat Canuck,
Getting off the Ponzi dollar is like jumping off a train traveling at 100 mph.
Trump can’t slow down the train without the cooperation from the engineers. If he knows what he is doing, we will stay on the train a little longer.

          • Spurr

In wanting Trump to do well and make ‘America great again’ …Greg you are turning a blind eye to the truth…eventually you will see the light…! Trump has been neoconed and puppetized…the very powerful cia controlled deep state lives on for more evil manipulations …such as war!

            • Greg Hunter

              Spurr,
This is you opinion and your “truth” not THE truth. You are stating you opinion as proven fact when it is not.
              Greg

              • Dan

Just like saying Hillary would’ve been worse than Trump. YOUR expressed fact, not an absolute (or even knowable, at this point) fact. Trump has merely begun breaking his campaign promises!

                • Greg Hunter

Your opinion. He has kept many of them already and there are a lot of moving parts to navigate in D.C. You simply must give Trump some credit. Trump has enacted more legislation and signed more executive orders in the first 100 days than any President in half a century. That’s a fact and not my opinion.
                  Greg

                  • Eric

Greg Is it that hard to sign executive orders ? Is that a sign of greatness or leadership ? Trump is a Trojan Horse. Look at the bankers he put in to run things. He also has turned the world closer to war than the last 50 years. Fact, not my opinion. Unless you ignore the rhetoric flying in every direction from the US, Russia, China, N. Korea, Japan, and of course the UN.
At what point do you stop saying “just your opinion” ?
The sarin gas attack was clearly false and Trump attacked? N. Korea has been doing the same thing for years. BUT NOW it’s a problem ????
Is that an opinion or fact ?

                  • Greg Hunter

                    Eric,
If you want to source your facts then do it, but don’t give your opinion and tell me it’s a proven fact.
                    Greg

          • OutLookingIn

            May not be a puppet.
But has been captured by the deep state.

            • Greg Hunter

              Again,
              Your opinion not proven fact.
              Greg

            • Tin foil hat

              OutLookingIn,
You are correct. I don’t think he is a puppet either but he is working with the deep state.
However, working with them doesn’t mean that he is captured by them.
Having his son in law, Kushner, running around irks the heck out of me, but I think that is indicative Trump is still in control of the White House; not the deep state.

        • Russ McMeans

Don’t underestimate our President, many have tried but failed. And your new leader isn’t someone I would toot me horn about either. Maybe we should all observe a bit longer. And hopefully our countries will survive all this crap. And if our countries had not abandoned conservatism, we wouldn’t be up to our necks in crap.

          • Eric

In the mean time our leaders (read Trump) are bringing us closer to war (my opinion based on hard evidence).
When the rest of the world is fed up with us playing world bully don’t be surprised when we get attacked ON OUR SHORES.
It’s all fine when we blow up every country we feel the need to as long as it’s OVER THERE.
Russia has stated repeatedly (fact not opinion) that the NEXT WAR will not be fought on their land (read OUR LAND).
Can you blame them ? We have (yes Trump also, FACT) done whatever is needed to threaten their borders. It might be via NATO but you surely know who pulls the strings (I hope you do).
We will get nuked on both coasts because of the *ssholes running our country. That is, of course, opinion unless you believe in the Bible and 100’s of prophecies (again opinion).

            • Frederick

Yes some of us do Eric Sadly MANY are still asleep or have an agenda that doesn’t allow them to acknowledge obvious realities

      • Chuck Morrison

If we end up vaporized either way, how is there a difference? I KNEW Hillary would get us into (at least) a limited nuclear exchange with somebody. She made it clear when she called for a no-fly zone over Syria. Trump campaigned AGAINST aggression, and FOR co-operation and positive relations with our ‘enemies’, which makes him a coward and a liar just like his immediate predecessors. Trump has been co-opted by the Neo-cons, (which makes him a thief, adulterer, and murderer as well) and they have only one party: The War Party, by which the Bush’s and Clinton’s are owned. The jig is up; the banksters have stolen everything they can, they are in the process of being found out, and the only thing left to do is turn the chess board over and have a global conflict. It’s a great way for them to cull the herd.

        • Flattop

Morrison; If the US were to get nuked by the bad hairdo guy, you would be one of the first ones to start screaming that Trump shoud have done what he is getting ready to do

        • Frederick

Chuck Morrison You’re very awake sir Ever since 911 we’ve been on a trajectory to hell in my opinion anyway

        • Chip

Republicans are fake opposition to the democrats. In reality there is one single party running the USSA… Chip

        • Eric

Sound mind and simply the truth.

        • Frederick

True dat Chuck unless we who “get it” upset their plan by putting our collective feet in the door

      • upsydaisy

The people in NYC knew what Trump was which was why they voted overwhelmingly against him. It wasn’t cause they were liberal or northeastern elite. It’s because they lived with him and his father for decades. They read the newspapers [long before the cries of fake news]. They knew about his chronically failing businesses that required being bailed out by oligarchs and foreign banks. They knew about the Russian mob. They knew that he stiffed his contractors. They knew he was a phony and a fraud, a conman whose only skill was manipulating the common man. They knew, and know, what it means to be in the construction business in NY and to be in the casino business in Atlantic City. I can’t totally blame his rural voters. They didn’t know all this. But we did. Don’t waste time replying “what about Clinton.” I know she’s corrupt, too. But she’s a kindergartner compared to the orange huckster.

        • Greg Hunter

          Up,
Tell me there is not massive voter and election fraud in NYC. Hillary had private servers to hide she was taking treasonous bribes, given to to a global charity fraud that is not shutting down. I guess you should know what fraud is as that was what your lying cheating candidate was ALL about. Just ask Bernie about how hew was cheated by her and the DNC.
          Greg

        • Tin foil hat

          upsydaisy,
I live in NYC and let me tell you something about the NYers. They (75% and I’m being generous) are the smartest bunch of zombies on earth.
Most Bernie supporters are good people, they are just naive.

          • Frederick

Tin Foil I have a good friend who lives on W 70th off Broadway Graate of Georgetown MBA economics from Berkeley speaks 13 languages Works for Morgan Stanley and is a raving leftist Go figure Weot along well until his loon psychiatrist girlfriend banned me for being so against the invaders(Mexicans etc) They are very well educated but have zero common sense They are totally disconnected from reality or my reality anyway When civil war comes it will be epic and I may have to return to the US if it happens

        • Eric

Sorry Daisy. I’m with Greg on this one. They voted against Trump for one reason only. The same reason our country is where it is today……… Trump had an “R” in front of his name.
That is sickly where we are in this great USofA today.
We have devolved into haters of our own fellow citizens because of a mere political position.

      • GoneWest

[This is not pointed solely at you Greg – I really appreciate your show and follow you diligently]

I’m so tired of hearing the “Trump is still better than Hillary” meme when Trump breaks a promise or does something he said he wouldn’t. Judge him by his actions alone, not relative to what someone else **may** have done.

If the American people simply judged our leaders by what they did versus what they said/claimed/promised there would perhaps be more accountability and a less divided populace.

        If…

        • Greg Hunter

          Gone,
When I say Trump is far better than Hillary it is not something I say lightly. Hillary said on an interview with Chris Wallace (I watched it and took notes) that there were “limits” on the 2nd Amendment and “Limits” on the first too. Please let that sink in. She intended to disarm America through he courts and silence dissention. This is what Gorsuch was and IS a very big deal and a campaign prom is delivered on. By the way look at what is happening to Venezuela. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-04-26/why-we-have-2nd-amendment-venezuela-plans-give-firearms-loyalists-purge-growing-resi

          • GoneWest

            Greg,

I appreciate that. I also agree with what you are saying, particularly about the 2A. It is the only thing that stands between the populace and tyranny.

We should keep in mind that Trump has only been in office for 100 days. We’ll see how his record holds up against past politicians/candidates once he’s had more time at the helm.

For the record, I was a Trump supporter and I wanted to believe he was going to change things. Presidents are leaders, not doers. The doers are the people who the president selects to get the job done. So far, that seems to be Goldman Sachs alums, deep-state operators, and parts of his family. The outsiders he did select seem to be leaving or quickly losing influence. This either makes Trump naive (and I don’t believe that) or we’ve been duped yet again.

If Trump were serious about changing DC, he’d be using the bully pulpit of the presidency to call people out who are obstructing his agenda. Have we seen that? I’m not talking about a few tweets. I’m talking about going on national media and calling out the senators and congressmen who are standing in the way and getting their constituents to start making calls and influencing their positions.

Thanks again for your hard work Greg. You are one of the good guys.

      • karl kuhle

Agreed Greg but would she be worse than Kushner?
It seems he is running the show not trump

        • Greg Hunter

          Karl,
Yes, Kushner cannot nominate a Supreme Court Judge. Trump held to his promise.
          Greg

        • Frederick

Karl Shed be as bad as Kushner agreed and what Greg fails to recognize respectfully speaking is that Kushner is just a waterboy or messenger for the real powerful entity running the show from behind the ” curtain” That’s my opinion anyway

          • Greg Hunter

There you go Frederick. Thank you for adding your comment. You do hate those Jews. The 1.6 billion Muslims in the world Never cause a single problem. http://thereligionofpeace.com/
            Greg

    • Chip

It is becoming more evident with each passing day that DC is not run by elected officials but by the administrative deep state… Chip

      • Frederick

You too huh Chip It is getting pretty obvious I agree

    • Flattop

HEY PAUL. So then, what is your solution to the problem with the little fat guy with the bad haircut.

      • Paul ...

If we cut off the fat guys oil, his coal, his food what do you think he will do? … like Japan he will probably strike US assets … so far he has not landed one missile on Japanese or South Korean soil … one possible solution Trump could have done … was to do to North Korea what Obama did to Japan (when they were going to dump the US dollar) set off an underwater nuclear explosion to create a tsunami (lives would be lost but not as many as with nuclear war) … thus putting Korea in a position “to ask for international aid” which the US could have then provided if they agreed to “certain conditions”!!

        • Paul ...

A better solution (without the loss of so much life) would be for the US to station one of our “star wars satellites” over North Korea … and when they try to launch a missile “zap it” with a high intensity directed energy microwave beam to fry its electronics and make it fail on the launch pad!!

          • Paul ...

Or … if using a directed energy beam is “too provocative” (and may incite North Korea to declare war) … Trump could use HARP (to change the direction of the jet stream over North Korea) and prevent any rain from falling there until they abide by certain rules!! … there are many other options … rather then an “all out nuclear war” that will get millions of Americans nuked by China and Russia and South Koreans killed killed by a North Korea invasion!!!

            • Eagleeye

              Paul,

You are absolutely on to something here. Given that the deep state (not worthy of caps) has mastered weather modification, they can certainly use this “technology” to bend them to submission.

For those who do not think that weather modification is still “a plan”, wake up and look up!

        • Keith wilson

Paul,so Obama and the us military set off a nuclear device near Japan in 2011,which caused a tsunami which killed 15800 people. We didn’t hear this on CNN. Where do you get your daily news reports from?

          • Frederick

True or not the whole Fukushima debacle didn’t add up to me Seems too stupid to be stupid to allow the backup generators to fail from ocean water Paul sounds like he’s been reading Jim Stones work

            • Charles H

Bureaucracy, or engineers – putting the diesel back-up generators in the basement instead of up on the hills: just proves the brightest and best are just as stupid.

    • Charles H

      Come on, Paul …

Trump wins – and you go kook-oo for Coco-Puffs; but when “campaign promises” don’t realize: Trump is nobody but a Company Man? The man has a team and a fan club to fight against the Machine that sets the rules. Give the man a break! Better yet – stay behind him for as much help as can be had. Better throw boomerangs than cast arrows.

      • Frederick

He’s sold out and Kushners running things from behind the curtain May the Great and powerful Oz be with you

        • Greg Hunter

          Frederick,
You are stating your opinion as prove fact. It is not.
          Greg

          • Frederick

Greg It may not be “fact” but it sure is obvious to just about anybody looking Kushner is Chabad and his building is No 666 Fifth Ave People need to wake up and put the pieces together IMHO you’re entitled to yours of course

            • Tracy Welborn

              Frederick;
This may be the biggest battle in the history of battles. Trump is going to use head fakes, false information, propaganda, and whatever else is at his disposal to win. I would. I don’t think you can take out the deep state in a straight up fight. It will be fought guerilla style. If you look at the facts there is really no evidence that he is working with the deep state. The Syrian strike? – did very little damage, planes flying a few hours later. Threat to Wikileaks? – just a threat, nothing done. Dropping the MOAB? – what does that prove? Flip flop on Russian relations? – we don’t know the true relationship between Putin and Trump. I know one fact though – Gorsuch is on the supreme court. Why would the deep state want him of all people?
This is my opinion, but I think Trump just might be brilliant – at least I hope so.

  2. This sceptred isle

If you keep pumping money into the stock market it will keep inflating. Anything that subsequently happens will then be used to explain it. Trump will cut taxes, interest rates are near record lows, war will be good for weapons manufacturers yada, yada, yada…I read an article recently in the newspaper puporting to explain why stock market is at record highs. No mention of money printing.

    • Wayne D

This is unfortunately the crux of our predicament, the addiction model that has become the accepted concept of “money.” As we know, it is only fiat currency printed through the US Treasury in league with the privately-owned Central Bank Ponzi scheme of fractional reserve banking. It requires ever greater doses of debt (FRN-bonds-etc) to maintain the same level of “stability.” But ultimately the debt can never be repaid nor the interest on it. And so the addict will eventually “overdose.”

But during this “can-kicking-down-the-road” interim, the fusion of all this currency-credit-debt in the forms of pensions, retirement savings, government and corporate bonds, equities, residential-commercial mortgages, etc., has become too obvious to hide. And US $1.5 QUADrillion of derivatives are tied up in all this. And there is so much counter-party liability it’s doubtful anyone knows who “owns” what anymore. Just as we saw in the MBS-fraud following the 2008 crash; no one could prove in a court of “law” who had the Title/Deed to said house, despite it being foreclosed upon and its mortgagee evicted.

So of course they must keep the stock markets (Dow Jones Propaganda Index) rising. Or it all goes bust sooner rather than later. Look at how they’ve gapped upward the last few days, based on what? Some Rothschild bankster who came out of nowhere to “win” the first round of French elections? “Brighter” prospects of WW3?

So, ain’t debt-credit grand? Especially if you’re an unsecured creditor (depositor) to a bank. What an honor to be last on the list to be compensated following insolvency-bankruptcy. Dodd-Frank made sure that derivative holders would be at the top of that list. Most people are unaware of this and other fiscal concerns. As you note, any outcomes can be attributed to: whoever prints the “money” controls the narrative.

Craig is reasoning the precious metals will make a solid move upwards during the final quarter of 2017, similar to the move made during the second quarter in 2016.
His good friend Andrew Maguire, who Craig has interviewed at his site on multiple occasions, is predicting a PM reset by the end of the current quarter. Andrew deals in the wholesale PM market and has a perspective that most PM commentators, guru’s, experts do not.
His clients include some of the largest players in the world.
Greg, I am sure that if you call Craig you would learn a great deal more about Andy and the Allocated Bullion Exchange of which he is a Director.
Just another suggestion for your consideration Greg : )))

      Again, great interview today!!!

    • Jerry

      Thanks for the link Macray.
The AIIB, BRICS exchange network will be backed by gold. The western cabal petrodollar network? It will be backed by bovine fecal matter and a gun barrel. As I have stated the monetary transfers are occurring right now with private investors who are hedging their investments. Those that put all their eggs in the petrodollar basket (no pun intended) will regret their decision once the switch is flipped.

When are people going to get it ?
Bush 1, Bill Clinton, Bush 2(shrub), Obama, Trump.
What do they all have in common ?
They all work(ed) for the globalists.
If anyone thinks it would of been different with Hillary
or another pretender they need to check their IQ.
JFK was the last real President and we all know how that
    turned out.

    • Paul ...

I wanted to believe in Trump … but looking at his actions (that speak louder then words) I am very disappointed … a lot of American and foreign blood is going to be spilled if we go to war … removing the hope and the fog from my mind and thinking clearly about what is going on … recall that in the year 2000 there were seven countries without a Rothschild Central Bank (Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Cuba, North Korea and Iran) today there are only two (North Korea and Iran)!!
Do you think just perhaps the Rothschild’s gave Trump a big gift? … perhaps a “golden” hammer so he will look upon the two remaining countries as “nails” that have to be banged with nuclear weapons!!

      • Tin foil hat

        Paul,
China seems to have shifted on the BRICS alliance recently. Jerry posts an article regarding the U.S. membership in AIIB – that is huge for the Chinese.
If China were on our side, I don’t think we need to worry about WWIII in the near future.

      You tell them Larry.

If anyone here took the time to read Jim Rickards “Road to Ruin”, they would know that. While I don’t agree with everything he says that will happen, a lot of other info that he provides is highly salient and not surprising. Highly recommended.

LARRY> Why don’t you wait a year or two before you start hanging labels on our current Prez. Wait to see what he accomplishes. 90 days is a bit soon to judge??

      • Tin foil hat

        Flattop,
Exactly, the only way for Trump to accomplish anything significant in 100 days is to have all the minions of the deep state arrested – That will be H. Bush, the Clintons, W. Bush, Obama, McCain, Lindsey Graham, the entire Black Caucus, 90% of the MSM, 90% of the personnel in the NY Fed, 50% of the Supreme Court and District Courts judges ……
Trump may be a lot of things but he is not a puppet of the deep state.

    Choices:
    1. Ignore the ever increasing threat from NK who has made it crystal clear they want to nuke USA. This buys time only. Ultimate total destruction gets more difficult to avoid as time goes by. When they have the ability (soon), many millions in USA and elsewhere will die.
    2. Pre-emotive attack to take out the threat, destroy all nukes and military capacity. The result will be potentially millions of lost lives.
    3. Surgical decapitation attack to remove leadership . Our best SEAL teams would have enormous difficulty with this. Highly likely to fail and trigger war.

What do you do if you are president?
Trump is not likely to kick the can, he has no good choices. He will not do it alone, that is why he is bring senate in on this. China and Korea too, has to own the decision.

This is not a time for partisan politics, this is extremely serious.

    • Eric

Tex Sounds a lot like Iraq and Iran doesn’t it ? We always need someone to fear so the military has something to spend money we don’t have. Right ? Then they created “terrorism”. An enemy we could fight forever. Or until we go broke.
Tex Answer me one thing……..why is N. Korea the new boogieman NOW. They’ve been doing the same for what ? a decade ?
We have the ability to shoot down anything he sends. We are the big bad bully of the world with great technology.

Greg, I suspected something was afloat about N. Korea, got to quiet to quick & don’t believe it was dutch uncle China taking the boy to the woodshed. Your guest confirmed my thoughts about some of my suspicions, something is amiss here, could be an attack is coming. Also, that Trump dinner/visit in Florida with the President of China wasn’t discussing trade imbalance and eating won ton soup, it was N. Korea and I suspect that China gave a grudgingly consent for some military action at some point in time. Shortly after the meeting the Chinese sent troops to their border with N. Korea, still there as far I what I know. Thank you for having him on, besides the information on N. Korea he outlined a good scenario due to falling economy a perfect storm to go and take care of a international individual who won’t play by the rules.

    • Tin foil hat

      Arthur Barnes,
I suspect a monetary alliance between China and the U.S. was formed around the dining table at Mar-a-Lago.
      N. Korea can’t squash a fly without supports from either China or the U.S. As the matter of fact, I have long suspected N. Korea is a time bomb which Bill Clinton planted in Asia which we can unleash at the right moment. i think Trump is disarming that time bomb as a show of goodwill towards the new alliance, that’s all.

The problem is all the good Jews always have to take the blame for the “small minority” that are neocons or Satanic pedophiles who want war or our children for sexual pleasure … recent statistics show they are abducting 83 children per hour (700,000 children per yr) shipping them to Congress and even the White House under Obama … one-third of Congress are pedophiles … they must all be removed by “the good guys” … irrespective of Trump the data Clif High is looking at suggests “the removal process” will begin in the last half of this year!!

      • Mike R

Trump is going to surprise a lot of people. Congress needs some wins, so its very likely we will tax reform legislation pass, a re-configured American Health Care act pass, and probably portions of a wall being built before end of 2017.

I’m more interested what kind of policies and personal changes Trump is pushing then this Korean “crisis”. Because Korea is a side show and distraction for the neocons &co and the masses. Why?
    1) Trump need some room and NK is an ideal place.
    2) The Chinese voiced their concern.
    3) The Russians are present and proved their capabilities with the lost Tomahawk rockets. In worst case scenario they can do a naval drill in the region.
    4) Third parties whom are pushing their own agenda issued a public warning to neocons (Google Horacio Villegas) and said them forget about the gulf of Tonkin-like scenarios.

    Hi Greg and Craig!

By far the best interview of all your good interviews! They need a false flag as Craig eluded to bring the currency destruction necessary to hit their targeted goals from 1988:

While most Christians have been duped into thinking the church is raptured up before the tribulation I have put together very comprehensive proof from scripture the church goes through the tribulation:

    https://sumofthyword.com/2016/10/04/the-rapture-of-the-church-is-after-the-tribulation/

Father always brings His children through tribulation to mature those sons within who desire to make their calling and election sure:

Acts 14:22 confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God.

2 Peter 1:10 Wherefore, brethren, give the more diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never stumble:

Revelation 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit these things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Rob I often wondered if the rapture takes place in the 3rd or4th chapter of rev. why was the rest of the book written? I was over 40 yr when I began to search my faith over.

        Hi JCD!
Amen I was 40 years old too when Father began shaking my beliefs to the core. The book of Revelations is not written as a continuous play book but snap shots with repeating events with more detail as we read through it :o)

          Rob,
Feel free to give us a few of your pivotal highlights from Revelation.

        • Rob

          Hi JCD & Greg!

I so much appreciate all that you do Greg and listen to all your interviews for the plethora of views helps weed out the good from the bad :o)

I want to respect your time but since you have extended the comment section as a platform to share some truth I will thankfully post an example of how Revelation repeats with more detail “here a little there a little”:

Isaiah 28:9-10 Whom will he teach knowledge? and whom will he make to understand the message? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts? (10) For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, there a little.

The rapture of the church after the tribulation is eluded to several times in Revelation:

Revelation 10:7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then is finished the mystery of God, according to the good tidings which he declared to his servants the prophets.

Revelation 11:12-15 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they went up into heaven in the cloud; and their enemies beheld them. (13) And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell; and there were killed in the earthquake seven thousand persons: and the rest were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. (14) The second Woe is past: behold, the third Woe cometh quickly. (15) And the seventh angel sounded; and there followed great voices in heaven, and they said, The kingdom of the world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Revelation 14:12-16 Here is the patience of the saints, they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. (13) And I heard a voice from heaven saying, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them. (14) And I saw, and behold, a white cloud; and on the cloud I saw one sitting like unto a son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. (15) And another angel came out from the temple, crying with a great voice to him that sat on the cloud, Send forth thy sickle, and reap: for the hour to reap is come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. (16) And he that sat on the cloud cast his sickle upon the earth; and the earth was reaped.

Revelation 16:15 (Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.)

Revelation 20:4-6 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as worshipped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (5) The rest of the dead lived not until the thousand years should be finished. This is the first resurrection. (6) Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: over these the second death hath no power; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 21:27 and there shall in no wise enter into it anything unclean, or he that maketh an abomination and a lie: but only they that are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Revelation 22:7 And behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book.

Revelation 22:12-14 Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to each man according as his work is. (13) I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. (14) Blessed are they that wash their robes, that they may have the right to come to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

Each one of those passages hold nuggets of truth encouraging the soul hungry for truth to seek the sum of our Father’s Word that He conceals for us to search out to understand the matter:

Psalms 119:160 The sum of thy word is truth; And every one of thy righteous ordinances endureth for ever.

Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing; But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

There are other examples of the Revelation repeating but I do not want to overwhelm the comment section brethren :o)

          Love in CHRIST! Rob

      • Charles H

        JCD,

As Rob and I respectfully disagree… I find it hard to believe that the Church will go through Tribulation, when it already suffers persecution. 1Thes. 5:9 speaks to the point that ‘we are not appointed to wrath’. This comes after 1Thes.4:14-18 – which does describe the Rapture. The “seals'” beginning in Rev. Chapter 6 sure seems like wrath.
One can divide-up the Biblical mentions too much; as well as fail to make distinctions or divisions where needed. Christians are already hated for the namesake of Jesus Christ; and injustices are only around the corner now. I wouldn’t put my children through the judgments which are directed toward a world that rejects God and His salvation.

        • JC Davis

Charles I believe God will protect the believers. They took up stones to kill Jesus and he walked right pass them. The believers in rev will be enlightened by the spirit. I pray I make it to tribulations. The greatest changes in me can happen in Gods testing. My view of the end times is different then most. To me it is the time to separate the flesh from the blood in order to become a more perfect work.

        • Rob

          Hi Charles!
Your comment has proven that you did not take some time and study the comprehensive study I put together and provided above in my original comment above and now here again:

          https://sumofthyword.com/2016/10/04/the-rapture-of-the-church-is-after-the-tribulation/

Than link easily proves the year of wrath is after the seven years of tribulation because that which happened unto physical Israel by way of example were written for the church’s admonition who are at the end of the age:

1 Corinthians 10:11 Now these things happened unto them by way of example; and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages are come.

Jesus came physically to fulfill the spring feasts and his body who are we must fulfill the fall feasts of which the feast of tabernacles being 8 days is a beautiful; “example” of the 7 days of tribulation followed by and 8th day where our booth is taken down and we go home as wrath is poured out:

Leviticus 23:36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Jehovah: on the eighth day shall be a holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Jehovah: it is a solemn assembly; ye shall do no servile work.

Leviticus 23:42-43 Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are home-born in Israel shall dwell in booths; (43) that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am Jehovah your God.

I have offered pastors all over this country $10,000 to refute that link above and will extend that same offer to anyone who visits watchdog. I haven’t lost a dime yet because once they read that link they disappear knowing they have no scripture to refute it because the Word of God does not disagree with Himself :o)

So your saying the average American Christian that goes to church on Sunday who can’t wait for the last song to be sung so he can rush his over sized carcass to the restaurant so he can make it home in time to park that same carcass in an the easy chair to watch his favorite sports team is suffering tribulation? You obviously do not see how the church of Laodicea so eloquently refers to the Americanized church:

Revelation 3:14-19 And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God: (15) I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. (16) So because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth. (17) Because thou sayest, I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art the wretched one and miserable and poor and blind and naked: (18) I counsel thee to buy of me gold refined by fire, that thou mayest become rich; and white garments, that thou mayest clothe thyself, and that the shame of thy nakedness be not made manifest; and eyesalve to anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see. (19) As many as I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Since Jesus was speaking directly to the believers in the “church” of Laodicea please tell me what part of the heaven do those who are spewed out of the mouth of Jesus get to live in? If they were in Jesus so as to be able to be spewed back out then they were saved :o(

          Love in CHRIST! Rob

          • Charles H

            Rob,

I don’t want to make this a back and forth discussion. That said…
The Church of Laodicea is Chapter 2. If the Rapture doesn’t happen until Chapter 5 – they aren’t IN Heaven to be spewed out. These historical churches are used metaphorically used to denote the stages of the church through the ages and for typifying characteristics. Since this was issued in prophesy (70 AD), and some of these churches no longer exist: I find literal interpretation here is not justified; but allegory is best served.
I say NOTHING concerning the average American Christian (re-read my comment, please) – so WHY subject me to conjecture I did not initiate? “The Church” is spiritual – I don’t confuse it with carnal christianity; or those who only lay claim to to the title of Christian. The spiritual Church, and human behavior are apples and oranges. Please do not associate me with them; or convict me with their behavior.
Concerning 1Cor.10:11 – “…they are written for our admonition, upon who the ends of the world are come.” Since you are quoting a non-KJV Bible, and the wording is changed; which allows a different interpretation: I won’t get into the whole “Which Bible” controversy. To me “the ends of the world” speaks more to a geographical description of the whole world being discovered and populated – where it wasn’t back then. It could foreshadow near universal persecution in these times, coming from every corner of the globe.
I have a problem applying Levitical regulations to the Church. They functioned literally to a people; they have value as a type: but as an eschatological framework – I have my doubts.
Neither am I intereseted in trying to gain a grand from you. I’d have to prove to your satisfaction – my view as being right. I see that as a fools errand. It’ll never happen. Scripture is a mosaic, patterned like a scotch weave. You see one pattern; I see another. I connect dots different from you. Let’s agree to disagree.

            • Rob

              Hi Charles!

This most recent reply from you proves you do not understand there is only ever one right belief and this is completely dictated by the Holy Spirit:

John 14:26 But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you.

The sanctification and the spewing out happen before the rapture because the Father is looking for the manifestation of Christ in our mortal flesh in this life:

2 Corinthians 4:10-11 always bearing about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body. (11) For we who live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

I use 5 versions in my studies including the KJV but I primarily post the ASV which is much more literal translation.
1 Corinthians 10:11 in the ASV is similar enough to the KJV that they are saying the same thing.

No you do not have to “prove” anything. I asked you and anyone to provide scripture that directly refutes the scripture in that post. The problem is there is NO scripture that clearly proves a pre trib rapture. But the link I provided above clearly proves a post trib prewrath rapture so literally a 5th grader can see it. Paul very eloquently described the problem with most adult Christains and why they can not see truth if it hit them in the nose:

Acts 17:11 Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of the mind, examining the Scriptures daily, whether these things were so.

You proved you will not take the time to read much less study that link to see if what I proved is so. To me that is just a pathetic cop out that 99% of the Christians are very very good at. Did you every notice your replies contain mostly opinions but my posts contain mostly scripture. There is a reason:

Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be found true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy words, And mightest prevail when thou comest into judgment.

              • Charles H

                ROB,

There are those, mainly of the Charismatic realm (Adventists; Church of Christ, and the like), which key in on an exclusive ‘ inside and therefore correct’ line of understanding from the Holy Spirit. Especially the ones who lay claim to be THE Ones who have found the truth; those who then are the expert and authority on the Bible. I set my viewpoint out; but you somehow feel obligated to tell me and everyone else I’m wrong. Fine.

I reviewed your work. And I will point out a few discrepancies.
                1) the only “spewing” done, in Rev.3:16 – is out of Christ’s mouth. This isn’t heaven: it is a spiritual allegory of usefulness or usableness. Again – these Churches never come OUT of Heaven, nor are spat out. My aforementioned explanation stands.
                2) From your (linked) “proof” – Rev. 20:5,6 deals with the Two Resurrections found in John 5:29 : “And shall come forth unto the resurrection of life (Judgment Seat of Christ); and they that have done evil, unto the resurrestion of damnation (a separate and subsequent event). The first resurrection is to life, and include the Tribulation saints.
Again, literally the first resurrection was Jesus Christ and the translation of the Old Testament saints – the First-fruits.
The Harvest is the Rapture of the Church And the Gleanings is the Tribulation saints; didn’t worship the Beast; is the first resurrection to life (since the Church is taken away alive). Rev.20:5 “But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished (second resurrection to damnation).” Rev.20:6 precise the first resurrection – which the second death has no power. These are the saved, tribulation saints: which rule and rein a thousand years (the millennial kingdom) which comes after the Tribulation.
                3) Rev. 12:6 – “the woman”is ISRAEL, and NOT the church. The explanation follows in verses 13-17. To make such a mistake on this point indicates that you are likely inclined to make mistakes in other areas. Hundreds of years of Church History agree the woman of Rev. 12 being Israel; and I will not indulge in modern deviations to pretty much settled doctrine.

So, ROB – I tried to avoid pointing things out: but being harangued by lumping me in with 99% of pathetic cop-out Christians: I figured I would reply.
From my standpoint – you err by using multiple bibles: and subject yourself to error. You posture yourself as THE one who is right; but make a common mistake to confuse the Church with Israel (the woman of Rev). And I find your biting remark about those who disagree with your interpretation as un-studied, and ‘most adult christians couldn’t see the truth if it hit them in the nose’ – mearly reflects an uncharitable attitude for disagreeing.
I don’t own this site. I don’t put up scripture to prove or educate people; and instead offer my opinion: which is the proper purpose to comment. And just because you post scripture does NOT mean you rightly divide it or understand it correctly. By the way – “Let God be true, but every man a liar..” means you are a liar: unless you count yourself apart from every man. “For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Or are you SANCTIFIED, and beyond all that?!??

                • Rob

                  Hi Charles!
Sorry but no one is going in to heaven except through Christ so every one spewed out of the mouth of Christ is equivalent to everyone being cut off of the vine who is Christ and thrown into the fire:
John 15:1-6 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. (2) Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh it away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he cleanseth it, that it may bear more fruit. (3) Already ye are clean because of the word which I have spoken unto you. (4) Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, except ye abide in me. (5) I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for apart from me ye can do nothing. (6) If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

I suggest you try studying this passage very very closely because it clearly proves that the Gentiles who were at one time alienated from the commonwealth of Israel are now through Christ fellow-citizens of Israel and of the household of God:
Ephesians 2:11-22 Wherefore remember, that once ye, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called Circumcision, in the flesh, made by hands; (12) that ye were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world. (13) But now in Christ Jesus ye that once were far off are made nigh in the blood of Christ. (14) For he is our peace, who made both one, and brake down the middle wall of partition, (15) having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; that he might create in himself of the two one new man, so making peace; (16) and might reconcile them both in one body unto God through the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: (17) and he came and preached peace to you that were far off, and peace to them that were nigh: (18) for through him we both have our access in one Spirit unto the Father. (19) So then ye are no more strangers and sojourners, but ye are fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God, (20) being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief corner stone; (21) in whom each several building, fitly framed together, groweth into a holy temple in the Lord; (22) in whom ye also are builded together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

There is only ever one olive tree called “all Israel” that Gentiles are grafted into and please notice just as Father broke off some of His OT people from that tree, He promises to break off some Gentile believers as well in verse 22 who do not continue in his goodness so only “all Israel” remains in His ONE olive tree:
Romans 11:20-26 Well; by their unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by thy faith. Be not highminded, but fear: (21) for if God spared not the natural branches, neither will he spare thee. (22) Behold then the goodness and severity of God: toward them that fell, severity; but toward thee, God’s goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. (23) And they also, if they continue not in their unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again. (24) For if thou wast cut out of that which is by nature a wild olive tree, and wast grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree; how much more shall these, which are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? (25) For I would not, brethren, have you ignorant of this mystery, lest ye be wise in your own conceits, that a hardening in part hath befallen Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in; (26) and so all Israel shall be saved: even as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer; He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

There is only ever one more rapture and resurrection of the righteous called the “mystery” and it happens AT the LAST trump:
1 Corinthians 15:51-52 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed, (52) in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

When is the LAST trumpet mentioned in the Word of God when the “mystery” will be finished:
Revelation 10:7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then is finished the mystery of God, according to the good tidings which he declared to his servants the prophets.

Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there followed great voices in heaven, and they said, The kingdom of the world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Try reading between the lines because God likes to conceal His truth to prove who will be kings of His Word:
Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing; But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

Those of you that keep trying to make “Israel” and the “church” two separate people seem to forget that Abraham was a Gentile called out of Babylon:
Acts 15:14 Symeon hath rehearsed how first God visited the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.

It was not until Abraham’s grandson that God changed the name of Jacob to Israel:
Genesis 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for thou hast striven with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

So why is it so hard for you people to believe that now the Gentiles who become believers are the seed of Abraham and thus Jacob(Israel) through Christ and part of Israel when so many passages reveal this:
Galatians 3:28-29 There can be neither Jew nor Greek, there can be neither bond nor free, there can be no male and female; for ye all are one man in Christ Jesus. (29) And if ye are Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, heirs according to promise.

Because you have swallowed this lie that the church is not a part of the commonwealth of Israel you have to create some secret rapture that is not once found in the scriptures. You go ahead and keep deceiving believers with that lie and you will be judged for it:
James 3:1 Be not many of you teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive heavier judgment.

                  Love in CHRIST! Rob

                  • Charles H

                    Rob,

To infer that once in the mouth of Jesus Christ – something in the equivalent of being”in Christ” and then for behaviors being outside the body: toys with Conditional Salvation. I don’t buy that. You can be removed from the vine – and die: but nobody who is saved ever looses it.
I raise a distinction between the 1Cor.15:52 a revealed “mystery” that applies to the Church; and “the mystery of God”. The latter is in the form of a title. There are mysteries of “the kingdom of God”, and “the kingdom of heaven”. Romans 16:25 broadens the sense of mystery. Also the “last trump” could apply to the use of announcement for the particular group it is announced to. 1Cor15:52 & 1Thes.4:16 are the ONLY TWO times the word “trump” appears – giving credence to the uniform exclusive application to the Rapture. So I cannot tie the trump of God with the mystery mentioned in Revelation. And no thanks about reading between the lines of Scripture; which can only amount to conjecture or interjection.
There IS a difference between Israel, of the bloodline of Abraham – having one covenant; and Christianity which has a different covenant, and is spiritual in nature. These two are in parallel in time: but God will deal differently with each – according to a better covenant. Each covenant gives heirship distinct to whether physical or spiritual.
You put words in my mouth to say that I’ve swallowed a lie, and don’t believe the Church has part in the commonwealth of Israel: it DOES – but on differing terms. I resent to attempt to disqualify me in terms which I have not expressed. The Rapture certainly is NOT secret. The fact that living Believers and the dead in Christ rise first on one occasion – brings the economy of the Church apart from all other events. And your accusatory inference that I deceive believers is rubbish. I present my opinion; but believers have a Bible and the will to decide if I am right or wrong. The very same can be said of you.
The rest I leave for others who may read our interchanges.
                    1) On the clickbait “Sumof ThyWord” site: comments are disabled. How do you tout a $1000.00 gimmick; but disable comments?
                    2) Another article found there disputes the Trinitarian view of God. This dangerously toys with the concept that Jesus Christ is not very God with the Father – and so infers that His vicarious atonement was an act FOR God and not BY God. This is heretical territory.
                    3) In another article you suggest our behavior as believer can ocassion a spiritual death. “Paul warned the Roman church and by extension us that if we do not put to death the deeds of our body we shall die a spiritual death:” Rubbish. What God makes alive in spirit – eternal life: man can not extinguish. This leads toward a ‘works salvation’ – in direct contradiction to salvation by Grace through faith.
                    3) You take a Romans8:13,14 verse, but interpret it in reverse by a verse spoken to “the Twelve” (Matt.10:22) so this is an Apostolic instruction: but you apply it to the whole Church! One can’t mix and match scripture which must obey context AND progessive revelation.
                    4) I find no history on your site, and no authorship. Puhleeze! You can separate yourself from controversial characters and past association to wrap yourself in anonymity: but the errant doctrine you spew cannot be hidden. You have your own site: blow as long and hard as you want – but don’t come here and argue to no end.

                  • Rob

Since this site will not let me reply below your last post Charles I will end with this passage spoken by Paul directly to Timothy and by extension to the church:
2 Timothy 3:16-17 Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness: (17) that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.

Timothy had a Jewish mother and a Greek dad making him a Gentile:

Acts 16:1 And he came also to Derbe and to Lystra: and behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewess that believed; but his father was a Greek.

This did not stop Paul from instructing Timothy that EVERY SCRIPTURE from Genesis to Revelation was profitable for teaching and instruction in doctrine.

Your opinions below are so convoluted and lacking any scripture to back them up that I refuse to entertain your ignorance any longer.

I got a warm fuzzy after reading this. Frankly, I hope Putin takes the unexpected initiative and strikes first.

If I’m going down, I want the elites to go right along.

Interesting thought Tad … I guess just as Jesus Christ did … we good people must sacrifice ourselves … to rid the world of evil!!

I suggest people prepare themselves. as of the last drill i had with the kentucky army national guard there is a possability that the former battalion i was just promoted out of; is being told that mobalization is possible to 1 of 4 theaters of conflict or zones of tention.

    Estonia
    wester iraq
    jordan-syrian border
    south korea.

if the INTEL has reached my leave; IT IS almost a certainty that conflict IS ON OUR HORIZON.

HOWEVER I SUGGEST LOOKING AT SYRIA OVER NORTH KOREA.

    • Paul ...

Mateo … remember “military drills” are a subterfuge … it is simply a not so subtle means of pre-positioning military assets … before engaging in actual battle!!
And remember here in America “drills” can be used “as a cover” for an “in process” false flag attack (or for pre-positioning weapons that can be later used in a future false flag attack on American soil)!!

      • Shadow of Doubt

        Mateo,
I was recently conversing with an individual who’s retired from one of our “Intelligence Agencies”. He pulls no punches in saying he sees a Civil War looming large on our horizon. It’s this gentleman’s contention that the most important metal one can own will be Pb. To emphasize the severity of the upcoming conflict he indicates you should have a minimum of 2,000 rounds per fire arm.

    Greg,
This report confirms what I am hearing from my sources.
    https://youtu.be/HizHjY0uK88
Private investors have been given access to private trading platforms (via The Working Group no doubt) where they can sell off U.S. treasuries in exchange for either gold or gold backed RMB. The new system seems to be working in tandem with the U.S. Dollar and SWIFT. It is my speculation that once the elite insiders have positioned themselves sufficiently they will go public at a time of their choosing with some type of reset option. If the United States threatens war, with North Korea, they may do it sooner.

There’s a lot going on in the news, but yet no mention of the U.S. firing a unarmed minute man missile today from a base in California as a show of force to North Korea.
    Why?

    • Jerry

As is always the case, private investors are the first ones to make the moves. Can you say “Gold Backed Credit Card” ?
      https://youtu.be/0_QyvfktSRY

    • Jerry

If you need more proof about what’s coming, look no further.
      http://www.reuters.com/article/china-gold-imports-idUSL4N1HX3GL
If China doubled its gold imports in the first quarter, what does that say about the sale of U.S. treasuries? At some point its not going to matter whether or not the ESF can mop up T-Bills if no one wants them.

      • Kim

Thank you for this important and timely information!

    • GoneWest

Looks like April 21st has passed and the Chinese still aren’t backing their currency with gold. Another prediction…that hasn’t come true.

Think about what would happen if the Chinese backed their currency in gold. It would strengthen dramatically against all other currencies. This would make Chinese goods more expensive. The Chinese have been devaluing their currency for decades to keep their export advantage. If they tried to devalue a gold-backed currency, it seems logical that anyone holding yuan would redeem their yuan for gold (to avoid the depreciation). I hardly think that the Chinese would be accumulating gold only to give it back in redemption for their gold-backed currency.

Backing any currency with gold would lessen the powers of the central banks. Do you really think they are going to give up the power of credit/debt creation. Seems like a long shot to me.

It seems to me like the Chinese are probably behaving rationally and buying gold for insurance against the whole world turning upside down. Think about it, if there’s conflict and you need to finance war(s), who do you think will be able to buy more arms: someone paying in gold or someone paying in fiat/promises from the Treasury?

  21. al

Thanks Greg, TF rocks! He’s right and I see it the same way. We’re always at the cusp, at the edge of our seat whether it’s Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, North Korea, China/no China, foe, friend… It should be obvious by now that the powers that be want all of us consistently at the edge while they rape the middle class. We’re in WW3 right now and it’s being fought in our pockets, not the trenches.

  22. Stephen Bobkin

    Greg

You do a great job with your interviews of experts which are not in the mainstream media. However, I truly believe that the GS and JPM of this world have it sewn up. What I mean is you can’t beat them, you have to join them. There is no hope and we will not experience a crash again like 2007/08, they have the system rigged!

    • Paul ...

So Bobkin … where do I go to be “re-educated” and become a full fledged warmongering Satanistic pedophile neocon???

    • Charles H

It’s not a matter of ‘beating, or joining’ to be on the ‘winning side’. It IS about leaving something rotten behind; and not being a part of something wrong – because it is wrong.

  23. Mark

Greg, Craig Hemke is the best guest at explaining the complexities of the rigged markets in plain language for most to understand. I’ve followed him for years and I never get tired of his analysis and upbeat demeanor. I hope all can prepare for the inevitable reset and prosper on the other side.

Here are a few more interviews for all the enjoy: 1 from Craig and the other with Mike Maloney & Max Keiser that just came out today.

  24. andyb

Greg: CH is always a good catch; clear, concise, and reasoned. Craig, however, in his analysis of potential war, neglects to mention that the war mongering neocon psychos are back in charge. Have we been had? Most likely. Which means that the Red Shield is still in the position to create the chaos needed to serve the elites. History is replete with examples of the transfer of meaningful assets at 10 cents on the dollar after wars, much to the detriment of the surviving populace. So, yes, there will be war. But not in Korea. More likely, given all the recent articles on EMPs, it will be a false flag attack on our energy (electric) infrastructure. If it cannot be replaced or repaired within 3 months, many millions will die. perhaps even 90% of the population. Rockefeller in his grave will be laughing.

  25. Matt

As world resources continue to be exhausted, humanity has a very stark decision to make.
One is to work together to ensure that everyone has access. The other is to go to war to secure these resources for just on group. The latter will lead to perpetual conflict on a scale never seen before on planet earth. What is playing out right before our eyes is the impact of diminishing planetary resources and exploding human populations. These two events are completely incongruous and portend very difficult times to come if humanity continues down this course of tribal conflict. The march to war is being driven by resource depletion. Period.

    • Paul ...

Wait a second MATT … the universe has infinite resources … we can easily mine the asteroid belt, etc, etc. … unlimited zero point energy “is being held back from humanity” by greedy corporations that want to save their resource monopolies!!!

      • Tin foil hat

        Paul,
“unlimited zero point energy “is being held back from humanity” by greedy corporations”
Do you get that by watching the “Ancient Aliens – The Genius Factor” about Tesla? I didn’t know Thomas Edison was a thieve.

  26. Roger D

We abandoned God. We abandoned our Constitution. We the People have squandered our Founders’ Republic to the Deep State. We call ourselves ‘Christians’, yet we support continuous wars that Christ would surely reject. Who do we think we are? Even the church is complicit by their silence. Is any pastor crying out against these wars and shedding of innocent blood besides Chuck Baldwin? Payback will literally be hell.

‘Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.’ Proverbs 16:18

    • Greg Hunter

      Robert,
Yes, some did but,Tens of millions did not abandon God or the Constitution. How do you think Trump got elected?
      Greg

God and the constitution After 911 both were abandoned by the inaction of the masses Karma will be huge and devastating if justice isn’t done and truth brought to the world

      • Robespierre

        THE LAST WORD
By the way Greg, exactly what denomination and church does President and Ms. Donald Trump attend on Sundays? Church and State ( Politics) don’t mix well historically. This is fact, not opinion, as well. We should not equate one with the other.
Voters of all kinds voted against Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump won. Now, we see how hard it is to please “conservatives”. Its a mighty big tent. Brothers and sisters disagree often times.

  27. Country Codger

    Hi Greg,
As always Craig “knocked it out of the park”.
The USS Maine was in Havana Harbor in Cuba. It too, was a false flag used to justify us going to war with Spain. The marines and sailors on board had already scheduled a baseball tournament with the Spaniards for the next day, that is how good the relations were. The design of the main gun was very bad and subject to malfunction. After the war was over with and we had Cuba, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, the Phillipines and more, as war booty, the Maine was raised and a forensic investigation done. That is when it was realized that the explosion was caused by loader mechanism. It was promptly taken out to deeper water and resunk.

The Gulf of Tonkin incident never happened so the narrative was dropped. Oh, don’t forget our 34 men who died aboard the USS Liberty in an effort to get the US involved in the 6 day war. You can actually listen to a call from LBJ telling someone on the other end (I forget who now) “sink that G..d.mn ship”.

Be afraid. This has happened before and we are in the first month of the 7 year cycle of war. Madmen are at the helm. Like Craig said “pray”.

    Shalom,
    CC

    NEW DEAL IN KOREA ?

I think he is correct in his assessment of the “situation” in North Korea, but its not resolvable. There is no way to install a pro-Western leader there, as China keeps control of North Korea. If China does not support intervention near their border, it ain’t going to happen. So, you first must go through China.
Still, the potential for trouble is high right now, but it ebbs and flows. President Trump is taking action partly to compensate for a lack of military action regarding North Korea since the Clinton Presidency. He has to establish his bonafides. Nobody has bothered to DO anything, except possibly economic sanctions for a time. We end-up giving N. Korea food to pacify them. We may do it again eventually. Bribery works in politics and international relationships.
So, a Show of Force won’t really end the problem in itself and it won’t result in regime change either. The world is still stuck with Kim Jong. However, Our actions may not accomplish much except to demonstrate this president is not idle. We now have more potential bargaining room for a New Deal. Give him credit for that, at least.

    • Paul ...

North Korea is to China … like Israel is to the US … the big super powers use them to whip up war (or war hysteria) when ever they need to … for larger geopolitical reasons!!

Mr. Hemke is well worth listening to. Guests like him are bringing up the quality level of your site. Steve Pieczenik ; if you can get him on; will further enlighten your viewers with a bit more clarity about the present potus. Within one hundred days of his administration he managed to end the lives of sixteen innocent Syrians because of some “political motive”; or his complete lack of statesmanship in not even getting all the facts before engaging in an activity that can only be called murder. I voted for a great salesman who ran a brilliant campaign based on lies. Trump may have some wealth; but his substance is ” LOW RENT “.

Yep. And nothing ever happened in 1950-53 that would cause North Koreans to behave as they have ever since. Nothing at all.
And someone is strangely averse to signing a peace treaty — for 64 years! Now WTF would that be? Failure of which is the main reason for NK nuclear weapons program. Didn’t have to be that way.

      Surfeit,
North Korea has plenty of Sins of its own. This is pretty one-sided. I’ll bet the South Koreans are happy the North did not win.

    • Frederick

Surfeit you are correct They are a paranoid population easy for the Kim family to manipulate since that war The US and its policy of bullying hasn’t helped matters at all Maybe will should just send in our secret weapon of last resort Dennis Rodman That’s pretty scary right?

    • Justn Observer

Surfeit…. Yea! And they should follow the U.S. example as far as an aversion to signing peace treaties….look how fast we put our differences aside and the north and south signed theirs? except I can’t seem to find it… or maybe we’d have been better retaining more ‘States’ rights and less centralized government and group think? And retained and strengthened the ‘unalienable rights’ rather than weaken them by accepting their replacement with ‘civil’ rights. There is a difference between God given and man given ones! There is an argument that Lincoln did not free the slaves …as much as at that time it ENSLAVED the rest of the people more deeply rooted Roman statute/ civil laws and a foreign banking involvement that thereby corporatize the administrative structure into a ‘for profit’ venture where all the people and land are now OWNED in a trust – there in their future productivity- collateralized- against the future repayment of it’s debt…it’s children and grandchildren thereby born into economic enslavement to pay in the future for the past generation mis-steps and policies…including wars…decisions guided by the owners and shareholders of that ‘foreign’ banking system…who might careless what the world thinking of the U.S. corporation…actually use it as a shield for which to hid behind as ‘they’ make profits and impose ‘their’will ‘both spiritual and politically. In the end…control they will…as they continue to create wedges to keep the people arguing as ‘they’ consolidate power…and in the end things like population will be managed… either by war or birth control…or healthcare or the lack of it… Of course …they will give the ‘appearance’ of access to it…and control the level of it by a coding system and regulations and deductibles. Somewhere along the process…as Clif High points out –computers will draw ‘near’ making human like decisions but fall short of ever have but only the ability of emotional decisions programmed into them as they are tied to robotics…that will replace the need for the masses…leading to great opportunity for software designers and robot builders… as the robots awareness meld with the pathological leadership that has lost its empathy and patience for the human condition to rule over others. How that plays out…destiny or fate…is left with you… and our children will either love or hate us…but that common core by then they will be too ‘FREE dumb’ to understand the difference between freedom and liberty anyway… Your decision at this point more along the lines of being either one that wants to give orders or take them…who you trust to be the giver… someone that knows better how you should live…or can be merely bribed make you…! Is there really much of a difference of an ‘agency’ forcing you out of your home or making the ability for you to buy your own and actually pay it off possible when the end results is to deny ‘private’ ownership? And even if you did…and all you have is a ‘trust deed’ …did you really? Really did you need to buy an Oculus goggle…or are you in an illusion already… or are we at a point people need another illusion to escape the illusion? God may not be dead…but seems he has been sadly mis-placed eh?

My last post on this site.

Here is what is going on in France,
Same F@c&ing game they played here to get Trump.
Every one is saying Macron is the winner when am saying it is Le Pen that is the Trojan horse same as was Trump.
She is the deep state choice like Trump was here.
The deep state sent Obummer/Holland to sink Macron same way they sank Bernie Sanders/Hillary here.
And guess who will “surprise” the world with upset results?
    It is LE PEN.
Same F#$%ing game where idiots cannot think cannot see ….
Only dictators, pen happy, exec. orders, has to be in place to shove the NWO in our throats after WWIII with the digital world currency.
And who did that …all those idiots played in the globalist hands thinking they are electing saviors, while they are only electing their dictator.

Am sure most here will celebrate LePen win, but I will wait to hear your scream when she F#$% French people same way Trump Will f#$@ the world with WWIII.

And yes Russians planned it because they play chess…we play F##^ing checker.

      Mohammad,
Let me give you some of my native American common sense. You can only control what is inside your ten foot circle of life. Empires may crumble, and wars may be fought, but unless you can live within your ten foot circle and survive its meaningless. My ancestors did not surrender because they were weak. They surrendered because their families were starving.

Thank you for your comments. I have enjoyed them very much even though I haven’t posted much. In the struggle of life its always good when people with opposing viewpoints can converse with one another in a spirit of peace. Unfortunately Lucifer doesn’t share that view and would rather have us at each others throats so he can control us. But rest assured, I have it from a very good source that his days here are numbered. But in the meantime prepare yourself so you can endure to the new beginning. Peace be with you.

Without faith it is impossible to please God well.—Heb. 11:6.

Have you guy’s ever thought, ‘Am I the kind of person Allah/Jehovah, the father will want to save during the great tribulation and bring into the brave new world, that’s so fast approaching?’ One very important requirement is that we cultivate strong faith. The apostle Peter drew special attention to the importance of faith when he spoke of its “tested quality” that “may be found a cause for praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (1 Pet. 1:7) Since the great tribulation is so fast approaching, do we not want to make sure that we have the type of faith that puts us among those whose faith will be praised by our glorious King when he is revealed? Most certainly, we want to be “the sort who have faith for the preserving of our lives.” (Heb. 10:39) With this goal in mind, we may plead like the man who said: “Help me out where I need faith!” (Mark 9:24) Or we may be moved to say, as did Jesus’ apostles: “Give us more faith.”—Luke 17:5.

  32. Mr. Lee

    Good Interview Sir,

I leave you with a definition from the world of finance for all who come to ponder in the context of current events: (Inter-temporal budget constraint = Restriction that the PV of one’s lifetime consumption spending cannot exceed the PV of one’s life time resources)

    PV stands for present value.

  33. Barn Cat

It looks like North Korea wants war. It would be better if we get that sooner rather than later. We don’t want them to have functional ICBM’s. It would also be better to use nuclear weapons to take out the leadership and their military than to use conventional weapons.

    • Alex

Wow, calm down, cowboy. People like you are the reason the USA is among the most hated nations in the world. I do not agree with that statement and have nothing against the Americans in general but to warmongers like you I have only disdain and disrespect. Be careful what you wish for for nuclear weapons might annihilate the whole Korean nation – are you really such a lunatic to support this madness? Are the innocent millions of people in the Korean Peninsula just some cockroaches to you? Is “Hitler” by any chance your family name?

      • Frederick

Alex I’m with you brother The warmongers have imbibed the FOX News nonsense hook, line and sinker Very sad that people talk of “nuking” other countries so nonchalantly And scary

        • Alex

Thank you, Frederick! I think that we have had enough wars. We, the people, might have different religions, traditions, political and economic systems, but at the end of the day we are not that different one from the other – except for a few warmongers, we all want peace, love and happiness. I hope more and more people realize that wars solve no issues – quite the contrary. We, the humanity, should find a way to live in peace and harmony and I hope to be alive to see it. “You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one”.

    • Charles H

I’d say – calm down – too. Nukes are bad business, and spoil too much property. Aces are good for bluffs; but are no wild card. IF North Korea fired nukes – few would reach target; and the END of that regime and country would happen. If the Kid IS nuts: he’ll get himself and others killed. If he isn’t: he will be heeled-in. Fear is a factor: it should NEVER be a determinant. “If you seek peace: prepare for war.”

    • GoneWest

Wow. If you are not trolling, have you checked how the prevailing winds move on planet earth? Hope you live in the southern hemisphere because we will be dealing with the fallout from any nukes exploded in Korea right here in the USA.

    Greg,
    Good stuff. Thanks.
Just wondering?!?! North Korea-broke as a joke, a worldwide enemy of humanity, their GDP is a joke, their citizens are starving-but they are an enormous threat?!?!
Iran-major league (Big League) worldwide sponsor of terror-we should all be in fear, all the time-they have been suffering from sanctions for over 30 years-my Persian friends tell me they are like the “White Trash” of the middle east (very poor and un-educated)-somehow they can’t properly feed and educate their people-but they can afford to put trillions into fighting the U.S. for the last 15 years by sponsoring (al quesadilla, al nooseraa, al chalupa, ICICLE) terrorists?!?!
I’m just thinking out loud and saying to myself, “It doesn’t matter if you slice it thick or slice it thin-it’s still a “Baloney Sandwich” (BS).
Like Dr(s) Paul say, “We should just pack up and go home” No foreign entanglements.

Wouldn’t stiff sanctions from all countries who import goods/food/energy to N. Korea STOP Dictator Kim in his tracks (civil uprising from within his country as a result)? How could well fed Kim keep up the appearance of strength if his minions/army were starving to death? This is bad for innocent civilians (who are already starving), but isn’t it better than world war 3? I guess not to the globalists who are probably Kim’s cheering squad. Thank you for this interview with Mr. Hemke.

  39. Wayne D

Hemke’s views embellish those of various interviewees over the last few months (years?) to help compose a reasonably accurate barometer that measures this era’s pulse/zeitgeist. And what it is reflecting is the angst and despair of the peoples of the US/the West (the world?) amidst the TPTB’s increasingly desperate attempts to maintain the status quo.

So the info from these guests and their varied perspectives benefits both new and longtime USAW viewers as they try to interpret the unfolding bigger picture. A quick review of readings from the composite barometer indicates:

All markets are rigged by high frequency trading, PPT, City of London, etc. The US government numbers are rigged (including the absurdity of *government spending* as part of GDP). Derivatives/credit default swaps have mushroomed with almost unlimited counter-party liabilities. Regulators allow precious metals’ “price discovery” to be manipulated through massive naked shorting of paper contracts. Bonds remain very unstable. Central Banksters now purchase massive shares of equities.

Geopolitical uncertainty intensifies and the probability of new false flag events increases. Other undeclared wars are started, including those by proxy (Saudis in Yemen, ISIS in Syria). Neocons are still flourishing in Washington, Despicable Cesspool, despite the supposed advances of populism. Bureaucrats in Brussels dictate terms to EU members.

Voter and election fraud continues to be exposed, worldwide. Banksters admit market rigging. Politicians commit felonies, including treason. And no big fishes are indicted and none go to jail. Same-old, same-old. Nothing to see here, folks, just move along.

USAW viewers can certainly expand these lists. But the conclusion is that the music still plays on through all the mayhem in this seemingly perpetual game of musical chairs. At a few of the previous inflection points, though, it seemed like it really might stop.

Yet here we are, back to the usual question: Will this time be different? I cannot say just how many times I have been astonished by how long they have managed to keep kicking this can down the road.

  40. dlc

Mohammad: I appreciated your contrarian views. You seem to put a lot of thought into your offerings. We needn’t be on the same page all the time. Told you once, nothing personal. If we we’re all agreeable on everything, why not just cut and paste each other?

    Competent? Sane?

Weren’t the generals and planners of the Vietnam War the best and brightest?

Don’t the competent and sane routinely miscalculate?

    • Paul ...

In the olden days humanity was able to survive stupid generals with big egos and low IQ’s … but in this era of thermonuclear weapons their follies and bloated heads will lead to the extinction of the entire human race … it is about time “we take control” and intercede to bring peace to our world!!

    Greg:
A lot of people are constantly haranging the line “Innocent women and children.” If the child is under 10 years of age that may be true but consider the thought that there is no one innocent and wars do not care anyway. Last night I watched that old film of actual warfare on WWII. People need to realize what War really is. The bombing in Germany near the end of the war was merciless. Does anyone remember the firebombing of Dresedin. The allies were trying to kill them all and they did. A whole city of 25000 people died in one bazaar bombing and firestorm over night. It made me realize the answer to a question I have asked often since Europe and especially Germany started committing curtural and actual suicide. Yes we did kill or take in every man who had the balls of Germany. Whats left are not the Germans and that is why they are laying down to be hacked to death by ignorant savages.

I wrote a nice defense for our President, then the page was reloaded do to an error. That’s due to the crappy broadband here in the Sierra foot hills. I’m done with land based internet. I may be poor, but going off AT&T cell towers at an exorbitant rate per gigabyte is a much more practical and less maddening. Sorry Donald. It was a nice piece and dissapeared. Into the digital airwaves.

    • Paul ...

Russ … I can imagine all the good things you wanted to say about Trump … I voted for him exactly for those reasons you most likely wanted to expound … but war … especially nuclear war is a very important issue for Trump to get right … so although he may be doing other things right … I cannot support him invading a country (that has nuclear allies) and that never once attacked us … for what reason … because the Syrian leader is a “bad” man … what about the Saudi leaders who helped to do 9-11?? … were they not “bad men”?? … yet we are not invading Saudi Arabia are we?? … and since when is it the responsibility of America to “selectively take out” only the bad men who don’t have a Rothschild Central Bank running their country???

      • Russ McMeans

Syria is none of our business. I’m betting it’s at the behest of the Saudis to get their pipeline through Assad’s country. Now North Korea and Iran are a different matter all together.
I’d throw in the Castro leadership too. ( personal vendetta here)….

  47. Russ

Hey Greg — Great interview with Craig Hemke. He brought out some points and connected a few dots relative to the market, manipulating in general via algo’s and the relevance of what’s happening on the Korean Peninsula. My knowledge of things north of the Korean DMZ is almost 40 years out of date so all I think I know now is what we’re all fed.

One thing I do know is that while a single aircraft carrier battle group is good for establishing presence and carrying out limited strikes, no rationale Pentagon would even consider doing North Korea with a single carrier battle group. There will be nothing limited about strikes into North Korea. The first military strike into north of the DMZ had better be all-in ’cause as mentioned in the interview, Seoul has a large population within reach of NK artillary — bloodbath, all out war. So all that said, the idea that we would use USS Carl Vinson as THE (singular) carrier battle group in a NK scenario is BS. That’s all been PR delaying and keeping people second guessing tactics while additional assets are moved — additional aircraft carriers, THAAD for South Korea and Japan, etc. Then there is defense of Hawaii, Guam, et al… It is not as simple as a single surgical strike to take out North Korean leadership. That’s a dream.

Reopening all out war on the Korean peninsula would be a YUGE mistake. However, demonstrating a willingness to conduct a 60 Tomahawk missile strike on an airbase in Syria over dessert and then allow a general in Afghanistan to drop a MOAB out of the blue shows a level of unpredictability we haven’t seen since Ronald Reagan. Both strikes had tactical goals of their own which seemed to be successful, but they also had a strategic goal vis-a-vis diplomatic efforts with Chinese leadership relative to Kim Jong-un.

The Chinese don’t want a renewed Korean war any more than do the residents of Seoul. It needed to be communicated that it is in the national interest of Beijing to remove (or have someone remove) Kim Jong-un from leadership in North Korea and end the Kim dynasty. Only after that, maybe a serious discussion about unifying North and South Korea can happen. That discussion goes way off into what-if-land and is pure speculation, but I can envision a unified Korea being beneficial to both sides. Don’t know, maybe Chinese leadership likes their little troublemaker.

¯\_(“.”)_/¯ You don’t know what you don’t know

As an aside, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/There_are_known_knowns , has the quote from Rumsfeld, but for completeness, here it is …
    “Rumsfeld stated:
“Reports that say that something hasn’t happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – the ones we don’t know we don’t know. And if one looks throughout the history of our country and other free countries, it is the latter category that tend to be the difficult ones.” “

Remember the Cuban missile crisis ?

Well North Korea, is China’s ‘cuba’. The last thing in the world China would ever want, is to lose NK to a ‘democracy’, where the USA can plant a military base with ICBM’s pointed right at China.

Trump is now talking “major, major conflict” possible. Well guess what folks ? Trump got elected courtesy of the NEO-cons, who needed a chump in Trump to carry out the eradication of the control of NK by a wild man. Trump is their perfect foil, crazy enough to authorize it, and mad enough to be sucked into such a gamble.

Hillary thought the ‘deep state’ and the neo-cons would make sure she got elected. Well she was very wrong, and that may ultimately be a blessing for her, as Trump gets made out to be the scape-goat here, while believing he is doing his ‘patriotic’ duty to protect Americans.
