Unemployment Drop Masks Ongoing Decline

Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com

Last Friday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) said 200,000 new jobs were created which dropped the unemployment rate to 8.5%.  Break out the party hats and champagne, we’ve finally hit bottom and are heading back up!  That’s the way the mainstream media (MSM) reported it, and in a campaign year, President Obama took a victory lap.   Reuter’s reported Obama said, “We’re making progress. We’re moving in the right direction. And one of the reasons for this is the tax cut for working Americans that we put in place last year. . . .When Congress returns they should extend the middle class tax cut for all of this year, to make sure we keep this recovery going.” (Click here to read the completer Reuter’s story.)

Economist John Williams of Shadowstats.com says the government reported more than 40,000 jobs that didn’t exist.  In his latest report, Williams said, “The reported seasonally-adjusted 200,000 jobs surge in December 2011 payrolls included a false, seasonally-adjusted gain of roughly 42,000 in the “Couriers and Messengers” category.”  Williams went on to report, “While today’s happy labor data likely will fuel financial-media and political talk of an improving economy, the underlying reality remains bleak, with data later this month and next generally tending to confirm the ongoing bottom-bouncing of the U.S. economy in a severe downturn.”  (Click here to go to the Shadowstats.com home page.)  If unemployment was calculated the way BLS did it in 1994 and earlier, it would be 22.4% according to Williams.

By the way, the “tax cut” amounts to $20 a week on average, and it cuts cash to fund things like Social Security.  Of course, nobody is talking about how Social Security went “cash negative” in 2010.  The Washington Post reports, “Now, Social Security is sucking money out of the Treasury. This year, it will add a projected $46 billion to the nation’s budget problems, according to projections by system trustees. Replacing cash lost to a one-year payroll tax holiday will require an additional $105 billion. If the payroll tax break is expanded next year, as President Obama has proposed, Social Security will need an extra $267 billion to pay promised benefits.”  (Click here to read the complete Post story from Oct. 2011.)

Cutting Social Security sounds more like desperation to me and not a real recovery.  Bill Gross who heads up PIMCO (an investment fund with more than $1 trillion under management) recently gave a dire 2012 investment outlook.   He starts off by saying, “It’s as if the Earth now has two moons instead of one and both are growing in size like a cancerous tumor that may threaten the financial tides, oceans and economic life as we have known it for the past half century. Welcome to 2012.”    Gross thinks the world could experience big inflation or big deflation in 2012.  I think bankers would rather live with inflation than take the losses deflation will deliver.  So, I think inflation for 2012 is a lock, and that could turn into hyperinflation, but who knows about the timing of the latter.  Gross closes his outlook by saying, “The New Normal is “Sub,” “Ab,” “Para” and then some. The financial markets and global economies are at great risk.”  (Click here to read the complete Bill Gross investment outlook from PIMCO.)  Please keep in mind, this is not some nut job living in a cave in Afghanistan, but a highly respected investor and money manager.

I think the best and most succinct 2012 prediction comes from renowned investor Jim Rogers.  He says, “. . . they’re going to make us all feel better for a while” because politicians will push money printing during a big election year.  Rogers thinks what’s been going on is a “charade” and come the fall–look out!  “This is all going to end in a terrible disaster for all of us . . . by the fall of 2012 I’d be very worried.”  (Click here to see the complete interview of Rogers on the European edition of CNBC.)

The economy is clearly not headed for a real recovery, no matter how many positive reports are conjured up by the government.  The government and the MSM can mask the decline, but they can’t stop it.

  1. Elizabeth Hanson

    Hi Greg—

Elizabeth here from Seattle— we corresponded a couple times last week (wapublicbankproject.org). Thank you so much for writing this. My serious question is, what happens to a nation when there is a critical mass of its citizenry awake to all of the corruption going on, the lying, the warmongering at our expense?

The NDAA did it for me. I’m at the point now that I don’t feel comfortable living here… but live here I must because I’m a patriot and I have a child. But I’m afraid. I wonder what percent of Americans feel like me. Do you think we have reached critical mass whereby things can change? And is it sometimes the case that when critical mass is reached that things change peacefully.

I’m a Christian in spirit, not a church goer, and I think that the second coming of Christ might mean an evolution in people’s outlook whereby they become better people. That is what gives me hope.

    Your friend and fan,
    Elizabeth

      Elizabeth Hanson,
You are very kind. Thank you for your comment and support.
      Greg

      • Karl Von der Fost

        What’s all the uproar?
It seems that most Americans never bothered themselves to learn living within their means, save some money, plan for the future, get a decent education and avoid credit at all.

The blame must be placed specifically on the so-called Baby Boomers, a failed generation that really enjoyed the prosperity of the 50s and 60s; instead, they focused their deprived intellect in experimenting with all types of drugs and having very promiscuous (and many times unnatural) sexual lives. These people have done nothing for this country and now they are so scared of potentially not being able to collect their government entitlements (paradoxically, they are the majority).

These good-for nothing are indeed becoming a burden to society, every single day they file for retirement.

Therefore, America as a broken society is now paying the consequences of its own greed, lack of common sense and stupidity.

Someone said that Americans are just a bunch of stupid animals easy to manipulate and subdue and the current economic trends tend to prove right such assertion. The sooner the US economy collapses the better, so the ignorant populace will finally learn NOT to live beyond their means – and stop blaming the government, since they don’t give a damn about people’s grievances.

        • Greg

          Karl Von der Fost,
I think you paint with too wide of brush, but your points are valid. Americans are going to wake up poor one day, and baby boomers will be hurt the most. Boomers didn’t save enough and trusted Wall Street with 90% of there wealth. The bankers are not going to let all these folks leave the casino with their winnings. Think MF Global and zero criminal prosecutions.

          Greg

        • wisefool

Ya, and don’t blame the car thief, blame the dummy that left their doors unlocked. Your reasoning is hogwash. The over indulgent lifestyles of American’s is not what is/has destroyed this country. The destruction has a purpose, and is on purpose. You certainly make a point, but it’s not the hill you want to die on.

        • Wayne

As a ‘baby boomer’ (late 50’s) I think it’s very ignorant to blame BB’s for the myriad of problems we currently face. It’s pretty safe to say that each generation has had it’s fair share of achievers, blithering idiots and ne’er do well’s so it’s laughable to portray people who’ve built businesses, dutifully paid taxes all their lives, built thriving communities, etc. as
          ‘good for nothings’.

Also, if it weren’t for boomers who refused to go along with the Cronkite-like ‘that’s the way it is’ mantra of the established (alleged) mainstream news, it’s a good bet the truth-seeking ‘alternative media’ that has brought us the Hunter’s, Sinclair’s, J. Williams, Celente et al might not even exist.

Here’s a groovy idea….how about we stop pointing fingers at everyone else and do more personal reflection and come up with more resolve to help unite all generations for the battle ahead….kinda like ‘united we stand, divided we fall’.

    • droidX-G

Mark me as worried too. There are all the signs of Washington getting ready to take over the country. The unemployment numbers are feel good bull hockey. When Obama castrates the military, just think how the unemployment numbers are going to be effected. God bless America because we are surrounded by enemies and our government is the American’s biggest enemy.

    • slingshot

      Hello Elizabeth.
We have not reached critical mass point but we are close. If it is true that the object is to destroy the middle class of the nation, then I will say a civil war will breakout between the HAVE and the HAVE NOTS. There are too many people who receive benefits, that the working populace by taxation, can not support this pyramid scheme. As the years proceed this problem worsens, more taxes have to be collected or the worker can never retire or both. Compound this with job outsourceing to countries with low wage/less benefit labor, less workers to contribute.
The Powers That Be, tried to destroy this country. Yet with all their powers, the Constitution stands firmly in their way. They have control of the money. They have control of the major news networks.
They have subjagated the educational system with Political Correctness. They control the Military. And with the inflitration of subversive views into the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of our government, brought about by a so called educated people, they feel they can enact laws as they may without fear.
It is their fatal flaw. Those that run should run far and never come back.

“Don’t fire till you see the white’s of their eyes. If it’s a war they want, let it begin here”

Wonder what the Red Coats were thinking that fateful day?

    • Jay

Don’t worry Elizabeth your not the only one thats worried a lot of people are. Just go down to your local gun shop and ask them how’s business. Scary times lets hope more people wake up or it will never change.

    • Paul

      Elizabeth,

If you just sit down, shut up, and don’t get uppity against the government then you will be ok.

Iam not saying this to mock you, that’s just the sad reality. The kind of “freedom” we have even Stalinist Russia had. As long as you sit down, shut up, and don’t critcize the powers-that-be, you will be left alone. The moment you get active against them, you are a target.

    • Rocky

Does Bastille Day ring a bell ?

  2. Paul

Its not going to get any better until the TRASH is thrown out of D.C. voting is not the answer! This hasnt worked for years, we are led to believe we have a choice! THEY select, who will serve their interests!

  3. FluffyCone

Just want to let you know that I really appreciate your work. I have lost a lot of faith and trust in the Main Stream Media Propaganda Machines.

I believe the extended unemployment checks is our modern day version of the “Great Depression soup lines”.

    Thanks again…

    • Greg

Thank you Fluffy and I agree, but the soup line is about to get cut off. Sad, we will not cut of the bankers.
      Greg

  4. Barry

There are 3 ways the BLS lies to us on unemployment.
    1) Seasonally adjusted (lets just guess what is right for the season).
    2) Labor Participation Rate (They have removed over 7.5 million from the labor force since Obama took office while the population grew 1.5 million per year.
    3) Birth-Death Model. They say as each small business collapses, a new one enters the market…NOT!

    • Greg

      Barry,
      Amen to that brother!!
      Greg

  5. Art Barnes

Greg, in my mind the present economy, the industrial output, GDP, etc. of the United States is the “new norm” and sooner or later the basic working class American will realize it even if the wealthy political class and their paid for cronies the MSM say otherwise. All prior recoveries of recession in our modern era were led by housing which is still going lower as we speak. Its a hard reality to wake up and realize your prior life has changed and what you thought of as a temporary event now is the usual or the “new norm”; but that is happening now one American after another. The sooner the working person realizes that nothing is going to get better the faster they will reject the MSM and the other bull crap rained upon them about the coming chicken in every pot. Once the MSM has lost all credibility the country can start to reboot, hopefully it won’t be too late.

    • Greg

      Good analysis Art and Dennis.
      Greg

    • Sean S

      Well said Mr Barnes.

    • dshevlin

Thank you for reminding everyone that the housing market is the heart of it all and it had a major heart attack in late 2006 early 2007 which it has not recovered from and nothing will get better until our property values start to increase again. Seems all our elected representatives have conveniently forgotten about the housing market and it’s role in economic stability. I’m afraid I concur with a comment above, this economic decline is on purpose and the decline was initiated by pushing things to the breaking point with the Fannie/Freddie subprime loans and all it created. I am a Realtor and I can tell you that all Obama’s ‘save your home’ programs are nothing more then assistance to help you lose your home. I can also tell you that the federal government forced banks into subprime lending by threatening to cut them off from Fannie and threatening to accuse them of redlining. They were forced to comply and that lead to corruption in loan approvals with rapid re-scoring to make these loans happen. It was on purpose, banks aren’t that stupid or greedy. Making a little more sense now on why they got bailed out? We have good reason to worry. Good article Greg!

  6. Dennis

    Greg:
I sometimes wonder if cutting the FCIA withholding isn’t really a ‘back door’ attempt to bring on the unfunded facts more quickly. Historically, SS was ‘off budget’ meaning the receipts weren’t considered to be revenues that the congressional appropriations could spend/or use to balance their budget. I believe it was Pres. Johnson who added them to the budget so as to mask the real deficits by treating them as regular gov’t revenues. That’s when the ‘trust’ portion of the fund went under the bus. How many times can one spend the same dollar?
The Washington Post reports, “Now, Social Security is sucking money out of the Treasury. This year, it will add a projected $46 billion to the nation’s budget problems, according to projections by system trustees.” Hardly, what’s happening is that the Treasury debt certificates in the trust fund are being cashed in. Bills do come due! Now it’s time to see if those promises in the form of Treasury debt certificates are worth the paper they’re written on.
    Another good article. Keep producing!
    Dennis

    Hi Greg.
All weak long i was asking folks what jobs are hireing? I must have ask 15 to 20 times.no one knew of any job hireing. Just amazzing what puppet media we now have. good report.

Thank you for the front line reporting Jay!
      Greg

  8. Justin Case

The economy is not going to crash, collapse or hyper-inflate. Even if there was a 23% unemployment rate that means that there are still 77% of people employed at any one time. The American people are absolutely addicted to spending and will continue to do so. The real issue in America is not that our economy is going to collapse but that our freedoms are collapsing without so much as a pitchfork being lifted.

We may have a slow economy when compared to 2004 or 2005 but we are no Argentina and 2012 will be no different for the average Joe than say 2011 or even 2010 or even 2009. The majority of the people in this country are working and mostly happy with their life (I should say, as happy as an American corporate worker can be)

Skip reading all the BS about how the economy is going to implode, it does not matter. If you want to be happy then take back your life and take the real power back. Pay off all your bills, get rid of all your cells, pay T.V. Keep your money and give the finger to those who say you need these things to be happy. One of the the happiest time in your life is the day you tell the cable, phone, credit card, mortgage and all other companies to take a flying leap, you don’t need their crap any more.

    Peace y’all

    • wisefool

Our economy is on life support with QE money I.V.s. The whole purpose of the reckless ‘money printing’ is to kill the dollar, and give the mafia government more time to prepare for martial law. The proof is in the pudding. Martial law will be declared when the money isn’t there anymore.

  9. Burt Green

Mr. President – STOP LYING TO US!

  10. Paul

Sorry Greg, this is all so unbelieveable, our country is going down fast.

  11. Sandy

I just don’t get it, recently unemployment reports have been showing that 350,000 people plus file for unemployment benefits every week. That’s 1.2 million people out of a job every month. Yet when only 200,000 jobs are created in that month you still have a job deficit of 1,000,000 people. It seems the jobs picture is getting 5 times worse. Is this the type of information thats suppose to make us feel better? If anything it’s making more nervous. What happens when these hoards of unemployed get desperate?

    • Greg

      Sandy,
I bet you got straight A’s in math and logic!! Very good point here, thank you.
      Greg

      • Art Barnes

Sandy: Wow, great critical thinking, I wonder if any of the clowns on CNBC have ever thought about what you just said, too real to be acknowledged by the elite. You can bet that it will never be discussed on CNBC by the actors on that network, they see a buy signal behind every tree.

    • J.Dostigan

Just because 350k file each week, it does not mean that is 1.2m a month. When unemployed, you have to file each week on the week. That is the mistake in the math. Its the same person who files 4 times a month.

  12. ncdirtdigger

If the government stops counting you, are you still without income/work?

    • Greg

      ncdirtdigger
Good point and they do it everyday.
      Greg

  13. wheatcountry

Its all about the election now. Washington has you focused on politics not the country. Its always been this way and will NOT change until we get rid of both parties who have robbed this country blind since FDR. I feel very sad for our patriots who have gone to war and given their lives for political gain of Both parties. I am not an isolationist but we have no reason to meddle in every corner of the globe. When the Roman empire fell it ushered in the Dark Ages and that is what America has facing it. You as a citizen mean nothing to the gov. except if they feel threatened by you. Now we have another 10 months of political vomit facing us until the next bunch of thieves take office.

  14. dejayajay

With the increasing efficiencies in the workplace, through technology, be it in manufacturing, retail, farming, et al, doesn’t it make sense that we will need less and less people working, or perhaps less hours worked.

Possibly we should be focusing more on equality in quality of life, rather than just on the numbers of employed / unemployed.

Of course the solution is far more complicated than just this consideration, but it should be taken into account nevertheless.

  15. Cessna Dave

    Greg:

Thank you for your work. FYI: Wife and I disconnected cable TV from our house in Nov. 2010 due to the garbage called entertainment programming, non-news that is reported as NEWS (breathless talking heads), and the incessant, insufferable commercials. There was a few weeks of withdrawal. We are a better household for it though. Internet mostly & AM radio is used for news. A lot of great reading too. Websites like yours help us stay on top of the MSM propaganda.

Many customers in my physics consultant business have also terminated TV. Those that have not done so, are contemplating “unplugging”. There is certainly a growing sector of citizenry doing this. We KNOW we have been and are continuing to be, lied to. The social unrest temperature is rising with the population, most taxpayers, and nearly all business owners not on a government financial umbilical cord.

With reference to your first poster Elisabeth Hanson, we are assuredly approaching critical mass on multiple facets. Having Congress approve their own pay raises, insider trading, retirements, medical etc. is sickening. If they were employed by me, they would be pink slipped and charged with numerous crimes of theft, unproductive, abuse of expense accounts, ad nauseum.

Like Elisabeth Hanson, I too am becoming fearful of this government. As a Viet-Nam vet, I am again experiencing those gut twisting feelings of impending assaults. The scary aspect of this gut fear now is the enemy is within the perimeter. There will be no “Freedom Bird” to take me out this time. No boarding pass available. Even last night the nightmares were unspeakable. My sixth sense “gut feeling” is fully awake again. So what is soon to be upon us?, …well, you & your readers probably sense it as well.

I wish all a safe journey on the dark trail we are about to take.

    • Greg

      Thank you Cessna Dave.
      Greg

    • KaylaF

Good job Dave for kicking “The habit”.
I joined the US Army at age 17 in the year 2000 as a Satellite communications specialist. My TV watching effectively ended there as I had no free time for such luxuries. I never picked back up the habit either. After a few years of not seeing it, when I did, WOW, you realize how stupid it really is.
TV is like a bad drug addiction or cigarettes, once you quit, why relapse into self destruction again? And like cigarettes, TV comes to DOMINATE your life.

I do have a TV, don’t get me wrong, but not access to propaganda programing. I have an HD antenna for Hurricane season so I can get the weather info should I loose internet access. I am also looked at a little strange by some people when they try and engage me in pop culture small talk and I know NOTHING about what is going on in the TV world. Questions like “What color were Brittney Spears panties last Thursday?”
      I’m like “Who cares!”
Then they are like “Thursdays are her RED panty day. DUH! Fridays are blue panty day.”

They get all bent out of shape because TV is their world, their reality, their whole sense of self worth is based on it. So when you get weird looks, you’ll know why. The gap between you and “them” will only get wider as time goes on.

  16. ken

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought I read that between Boeing and Pepsi there would be about 6,000 layoffs by 2013 and not to mention the military cuts. And the president is doing a lower unemployment victory dance? huh? Prepare, prepare, prepare.

    • Greg

      Ken,
      Crisp,spot-on analysis! Love the comment.

Sears and Kmart are closing 100 – 120 stores across the nation.
2 stores are right down the street not 2 miles from my house.

Sears Holdings (SHLD) has not said how many layoffs would be caused in closing the stores although its website says each store to be closed typically employs between 40 and 80 people. Based on the numbers provided, 4,000 to 9,600 workers could lose their jobs.
I’m waiting for the liquidation sale. 🙂

I thought when we give the rich all our money, they were supposed to hire us and create new business?!? MSM says we should have better products than ever before, cheaper and with more choices to choose from…… Ha, exactly the opposite happens.

        We are the fourth Reich.

What happens when all the troop return home from Iraq? The unemployment numbers will shoot to the moon. I heard today the President is working on jobs in the public and private sector for the unemployed youth.

I hear the candidates all talking about jobs, but what jobs? Where are they coming from and how fast and they be produced? I am not seeing the next wave, I see students failing to make their loan payments, I read about people still walking away from their home loans and we are too believe the economy is on the verge of turning around.

We should be smoking what the MSM is smoking – we’d all be happy with no worries.

  22. Sean

I read somewhere recently that there was a comment from the White House that the plan to increase jobs – and manufacturing – is to take advantage of the falling dollar to increase exports. If true, welcome to the new China. Now we can understand the reason for many of the laws passed over the last few years that turn us into a police state, with ongoing domestic surveillance, and a military who can operate domestically and indefinately detain people without warrants or charges.

Also, I predicted several years ago that banks were holding onto foreclosed properties so that they could further devalue neighborhoods and eventually sell properties to foreign buyers. I read yesterday that banks are now bundling foreclosure sales in large blocs of property to be sold to investors, primarily as rental properties. Does anyone care to guess what percentage of buyers will be from foreign countries – like China, perhaps?
Do not think for a single second that your nation isn’t being undermined by private globalist financiers, who have taken control of US government policy so that they can knock us out from both the public and private sectors simultaneously.

Most of you don’t know it (or haven’t accepted it) but this nation is currently under seige. Economic warfare designed to decimate us as a nation. You don’t recognize it outright as war because you are used to recognizing a military seige as a physical combat tactic. In todays world, the forces who have lined up against us have found a new and covert method to take us down – by taking control of our media, then our government, then our economy, and then dismantling it and plundering the profits, right under our noses. Don’t think that they won’t let it go without a physical fight.

  23. Heartlandjim

  25. Baja Bryan

    Greg,

Jim Rogers nailed it. In the last 99 years the U.S. dollar has lost over 95 percent of its value while the national debt has grown more than 5000 times. All this since the Fed opened for business in 1913. Welcome to the reality of fiat currency and its negative implications.

    • Greg

      Baja Bryan,
Maybe that’s why Economist John Willims is predicting a hyperinflationary depressionn by 2014 (on the outside.) Thank you for your comment.
      Greg

  26. M SMITH

Gerg, we all know the U.S. MSM is nothing but a propaganda machine for the back room dictators running this nation. They do it in many ways, the markets they manipulate, the news the gov spins for political proposes & to steal the wealth of the people by any means they see fit. Here is some reading from a blog I & others find very important in surviving what is headed our way. It a long piece, but worth the time to become aware how the GIANTS think/work to keep their wealth. http://www.usagold.com/hall/hallfame5.html#anchor295925. “Aristotle”,10/17/02, Let’s step through the looking class, shall we? Even though much of this was wrote years ago, it is still valid today to learn how & why the steps you take to have insurance against what we all know is coming, just as you would buy home owners ins to protect you if your house burns down but most likely will never have to use it, but in todays world do we see that all is good and we will never have to use our insurance, well not all is good & we may need that ins sooner than we think!
Thanks, Greg, have a great week!

    • Greg

      M Smith,
Physical gold as an insurance policy that remains in force and never expires. You are correct in your logic. It should be considered insurance first and foremost and an investment a distant second. (Although it has been a very good investment during the last decade.) Don’t forget Ag.

All I can say to that is NAFTA the great sucking sound of American jobs. Mao said it best,”Political power emanates from the barrel of a rifle”, think about that one and with that being said, of the 4 boxes left, only one is a viable option and is the only one left, 1 The Soap Box, 2 The Jury Box, 3 The Ballot Box and lastly and only 4 The Cartridge Box, this one is most unfortunate, but is coming……

    God Bless

Can somebody explain what the term ‘working American’ means…?

I know the Ted Kennedy version, but C’mon…

Say I own a small business and a good year brings $~200 – $250k. I ‘work’ many hours to obtain this and make many sacrifices and take many risks along the way. And I happen to live in ‘America’.

So with that understood, do I qualify as a ‘working American’, or is that term reserved for nebulous entities that only come around during bill-passing legislation or election time…?

I own a small rifle barrel manufacturing company. Last year I sold over 140,000 barrels, 99% of which were for AR-15 or AK-47 semi automatic rifles. This year I already have orders to be delivered before mid March for over 60,000 barrels. None of these are for military use. They are all US civilian sales from my customers. You may not be buying these, but your friends and neighbors are. Don’t wait too long to protect yourself and your family. I am impressed by Greg’s insight. It is one of the best I have read. If you believe that things are going to get ugly, I would also go to Survivalblog.com if you think you might want to prepare for what we all know is coming. I have saved both of these websites and check them every day. Forewarned is Forearmed.

    Thank You Greg

    Greg:
I have been following your website for a couple of years and have concluded that it’s to be trusted. That’s why I’m going to drop a comment once in a while.
I read every reader comment and, overall, I believe you have the most competent followers of any website. Sorry if I drop the average I.Q. by a couple of points but I’ll try and keep up.
We’re retired now but worked and paid our share of taxes for fifty years. We’re comfortable because we prepared for the day of reduced income and inevitable inflation.
For those of our generation who had the mantra “I want it all, and I want it now”, they have a problem and now want others to subsidize their future. As far as we’re concerned they can work, if they have a job, until they drop. The unemployment numbers are most certainly much larger than the MSM/government are willing to admit so those people are in deep guano. Tough ! Let them meet at Starbucks and reminisce about the BMWs, the exotic vacations, the McMansions, the fancy restaurants and the fine wines.
On the other hand, what lies in the future for our kids and grandkids ? Except for the heirs of the 1%, the outlook is one of barely making ends meet because their wages don’t keep up with inflation, fearing unemployment when their job moves out of the country, taxation in ALL forms increasing each year, government intervention in every family decision…… At this point, I’ll quit preaching to the choir. I’m glad I’m not just starting my working and family life.
Does anyone not in the government think these kids can’t see what’s happening ? Have they started the revolution ? OWS? Ron Paul?
Please keep up your great work !

Very truthful article, as well as responses. It warms my heart to see that Americans are awake, or at least more and more are seeing the tyanny. Explain to me, how a government not of the people, can buy the mortgages from the bankers and then sell them without giving the people the money back. Really, this gov. of 545 people are stealing the wealth of the people and then trading it to foreign entities to pay down egregious debt that was created to destroy the people and the nation. We are a foolish bunch of people not to rise up against the tyranny. Every day we get more and more proof of this tyranny, yet we do nothing. What is a constitution, if it has no teeth. Oh, but it does, for those who understand it. In fact, it states our rights clearly. The days are coming, the box has been chosen, stock up on food, friends and have a plan. God, guns n grub.
