Weekly News Wrap-Up 12.16.11

Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com  Congress held multiple hearings this week on what happened in the bankruptcy of MF Global. At least $1.2 billion in customer funds are missing, and none of the top executives, including Jon Corzine, knows anything.  Some are finding it hard to believe that Corzine, a former CEO of Goldman Sachs, a former Governor and Senator could be that much in the dark about what happened. The IMF chief, Christine Lagarde, said the crisis in Europe is not only “unfolding but escalating.”  Iranians now say they brought down that American spy drone (SQ 170 Sentinel) by hacking into the electronics of the aircraft. The U.S. denies it’s even the real thing.  Meanwhile, it is reported the Iranians are practicing shutting down the Strait of Hormuz.  The Strait is a shipping passage for 40% of the world’s crude oil annually.  If that is closed down due to hostilities, it would surely sink the fragile world economy.  Congressman Ron Paul keeps fighting his way up the national Presidential polls. He is near the top and only out of first place now by a few percentage points despite the MSM largely ignoring his campaign.  Finally, the indefinite detention bill or the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is on its way to President Obama’s desk to sign into law.  Many say it largely strips U.S. citizens of their constitutional rights.  Greg Hunter of USAWatchdog.com has all these stories and more in this edition of the Weekly News Wrap-Up.

    Lets wait and see if Ron Paul is being set up. A nuclear event would be VERY beneficial today to the globalists for the following reasons:

    -Justify martial law in the US so that thy can continue to use the US economy and government as their vehicle – even if the population wakes up and is opposed;
    -Decapitation and economic control of Iran as a means to maintain economic dominance vs. Russia and China;
    -And publicly discrediting Ron Paul so that the globalists can keep their PR minions in the White House, like Obama, Bush, and Clinton.

    Keep in mind that with these globalist megalomaniacs, the ends always justify the means. Recall that when asked about the US embargoes against Iraq in the 1990’s, former US SoS Madeline Albright stated that the deaths of 500,000 Iraqi children because of blocked medical supplies was an acceptable loss as a trade-off for “successful” policy. If these greedy and inhumane animals will kill half a million children as part of the effort to move their globalism agenda forward, does anyone think they won’t sacrifice a US city as a means to prevent loss of control of the US government, which they’ve managed to take control of and use as a massive percentage of their economic and political support structure?

    After decades of keeping Ron Paul out of the media, including a dedicated smear effort against him during the 2008 election campaign, the globalists aren’t going to simply concede and grant him headline coverage during a presidential election campaign unless they have a specific purpose. We still have a controlled media. This smells like a set-up and it worries me greatly that recent coverage has Ron Paul parading around and stating that Iran is not a nuclear threat. If someone wants to capitalize on this as an opportunity to set off a dirty bomb and blame it on Iran, the knee-jerk reaction by most of the propagandized public will be that Paul is an idiot,and the globalist hawks need to be empowered to take out more countries in the Middle East rather than to scale back and focus on a return to helathy, sovereign, Constitutional government.

      You are looking into the heart of the beast, many say it’s the ESF born in 1934 by a progressive congress. FDR handed a 2 Billion Dollar Windfall from the change in the price of gold. The ESF became the covert propaganda machine that grew into the banking cartels own way to grow its many agencies, CIA ,FBI while corrupting all parts of our government. I often mention Martin Armstrong & the material he produces with facts to back up his findings. He has pointed out how the MSM reports is a act of treason. I agree.
      Here you may learn more about Armstrong, his bio & history, http://www.armstrongeconomics.com, the site is full of data to back up all he has said.
      Setting Ron Paul up, the effect it would have on young men in the military could be exploited very easy if a city was hit & the draft was enacted.

      You are on to some thing that needs watching & a plan to get the real truth out. Greg is doing his part, we have to do ours. There is fear in the banking cartel or congress would not be pressing so hard to control every part of Americans lives! Pray for Peace. Always be prepared for the worst.

    • Greg

      rrrobert,
      You are not alone. I find the same thing. Yesterday I was talking to someone and they told me the economy was getting better. I just kept my mouth shut because I didn’t want to look like the “weird one.”
      Thank you for weighing in.

    Greg,
    I guess John Corzine must have misplaced the bank bag and someone picked it up. His testimony as litte better than that last week. I kept hoping a Capitol Policeman would walk up behind him and tell him he was under arrest. I doubt he will be sharing a prison cell with Bernie Madoff anytime soon.

    How can anyone have any sense of safety and security when investing in any financial vehicle? Pension Fund managers must be getting nervous, if this could happen at MF Global how can they feel safe investing their states funds? Imagine the hell that would break loose if say CA or NY public employees were told their pension funds had gone missing. So sad, too bad, no more pensions they got transferred somewhere and are not coming back.

    • Greg

      Jan,
      MF Global was no small deal. It was the 8th biggest bankruptcy in U.S. history. Is MF Global alone in taking crazy risk? I think not. I have to tell you, it is sad that these smart men have to act that dumb just to save their bacon. That should not make anyone feel good about any brokerage or pension account. Peace.

        Firmly believe the repercussions of incarceration of Corzine might be the undoing of lots of people in high places! Likely to read of his suicide in the next months ahead! Considering silence would be their best protection!

        • Greg

          David,
          I have long believed that the reason there are no prosecutions is the powers are afraid of collapsing the entire ponzi scheme we call the U.S. economy. Your point is well made and well taken!!

    Your picture for this article is incorrect. Instead of rational western doctors using reason and science to revive the patient, it should show irrational emotional medieval barbers reminiscent of Steve Martin’s Theodoric of York evoking magical prayers, incantations, leaches and blood lettings. Very few in Washington have any actual knowledge of how a free economy operates.
