Eastern Ukraine and Russia Update & More: Weekly News Wrap-Up 4-25-14By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com

Last week, I told you the deal reached on the Ukraine crisis would be “extremely temporary.”  That was on Friday, and by Easter Sunday, there was bloodshed and the deal was off.  Now, the pro-West Ukrainian officials announced the resumption of its anti-terror program against the pro-Russian militia in Eastern Ukraine.  Russia says this is military force on citizens, and it is “criminal.”   Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said if Russians are attacked in Eastern Ukraine, Russia would respond.  Russia is also holding war games on the Ukrainian border.  Likewise, the U.S. is sending troops to Poland and other Eastern European allies for their own war games.  If that hasn’t ratcheted up the tensions enough, now there is talk of more sanctions including going after Vladimir Putin’s $40 billion fortune.  Some of that cash is reportedly in Swiss bank accounts.  Putin says the West might “cut off your nose to spite your face.”   Also, there is the pair of Russian bombers that were spotted flying towards the UK and Belgium.  Both the UK and Belgium scrambled fighters and nothing happened, but was that a test or some sort of message being sent by Russia?  It all adds up to be one big mess that is growing and not shrinking.

News from the Middle East is not good either.  Hamas and the Palestinian Authority (PA) have joined forces after years of bitter rivalry.  This pretty much dooms any chance of peace with Israel because neither Hamas nor the PA will recognize Israel’s right to even exist.  Israel has broken off talks.  Meanwhile, in Syria, there was another poison gas attack.  The al-Qaeda backed rebels say it’s the Assad regime, and Syria denies it.  There are calls for the U.N to investigate.

The disputed waters and islands in the South China Sea is another hot spot in the world.  The President is visiting Asia and reassuring countries like Japan that the U.S. backs them in the dispute in the Senkaku Islands over China.  China has laid claim to the Islands along with some 600 miles of what China calls an “air defense zone.”  Both are in the South China Sea and have been bitterly disputed, and the dispute is far from over.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is out for another land grab, and this time it’s on the Texas/Oklahoma border.  The BLM wants 90,000 acres.  Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott says it is private property and that the land in question “belongs to Texas.”  The Texas AG is promising a heavy legal fight if the government tries to take the land.  I predict a new trend of state politicians fighting back against government overreach.

It’s spring planting time in the heartland.  There is plenty of water in the Eastern half of the country, but the Western part of the country is a different story.  It is still suffering from a crippling drought.  There is still severe to extreme drought going on in parts of Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, California, Nevada, New Mexico and even Oregon.  This spells nothing but higher prices for meat and vegetables.  It is part of the reason why food inflation is spiking.  Of course, the other reason is the massive Fed money printing and countries increasingly dumping the U.S. dollar.

      from Jim Willie

…The nation will be rebuilt, but by a different cast. It will enjoy a new industrial phase, but by different masters. It will benefit from new economic growth, but with lesser income and minimal benefits. It will see debt removed, but with tremendous loss of wealth. It will see movement toward fiscal balance, but with confiscation of pensions. The nation will see a new currency, but it will undergo heavy formal devaluation. It will rebound, but not thrive, under the cloud of fascism. The hope lies with Gold & Silver, WHICH WILL LIKELY BE OUTLAWED IN THE LAND.

        Allen,
Thanks so muxh for the link. Too much to absorb in one reading…….it is disheartening to read that Jim W. thinks the banksters will get off after their crimes! I wonder which “big” banker he thinks will get knocked off…..happy to read that the new system will be PM backed….as that will go a long way to making the system honest. Gold and silver are king…everyone should get some now as it is still available in small quantities, but not for long. Thanks again.

    Hi Greg
Putin is not stupid, if he had 40 billion in Swiss banks, it would be gone by now. Because the Russian oligarchs pulled out their money from western banks at the 1st mention of sanctions.
The 2nd thin is the 40 billion wouldn’t be in soon to be worthless US$
The 3rd thing is Russian officials and bureaucrats can’t have money in foreign banks.
The 4th thing is Putin’s 40 billion is based on a speculation of a Russian blogger. For “some reason” this rumor was picked by MSM.
The 5th thing is, Putin is Russia in a way and Russia will be one of the richest country in the world.
The 6th thin is, The republic of Texas may secede sooner or later.

    Your thoughts.

You mentioned drought in your Wrap Up. I think it can end in flash floods. Let me explain this.
In long droughts the upper layer of soil (1-2 inches) became compact and don’t soak the rainwater very well. So if intensive rains came and the annual or half year worth of rain falls in matter of days or weeks (flash) floods are imminent.

BTW Do you know what is the greatest danger in deserts?
Flash floods kills more people then the thirst. 1st reason i told you, the water can’t penetrate the upper layers of soils the 2nd is the desert soils can’t hold the water very well.

  4. OnThe Beach_Man is as good or as evil as he chooses to be

    Albert Tesla, Zdravo_
Al, the pages of history are filled with accounts of hatred and bloodshed. Yet, from the ruins of tragedy often arise extraordinary acts of kindness and self-sacrifice . Why does one person become a cold-blooded killer and another become a warmhearted humanitarian? Why do animalistic traits sometimes surface in human behavior?
The Bible frankly states: “The imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth,” (Genesis 8: 21, Revised Standard) Thus, children are bent toward mischief. (Proverbs 22:15) From birth, all of us are inclined to do wrong. (Psalm 51: 5) To do good requires effort, like rowing upstream against the current.
Nevertheless, we are also endowed with a conscience. This inborn sense of right and wrong influences most of us to act within the bounds of human decency. For this reason, even those with no moral compass or training may be known for acts of benevolence. (Romans 2: 14, 15) However, as noted above, our inclination toward wrong doing can cause a conflict to arise within us. What else may influence us in our struggle between good and evil?
The chameleon changes colour to match its environment. Similarly, those who make criminals their companions are more likely to adopt criminal characteristics. The Bible warns: “You must not follow after the crowd for evil ends.” (Exodus 23: 2) On the other hand, frequent association with those who are honest, just and morally upright promotes the doing of good._Proverbs 13: 20.
However we cannot consider ourselves safe from the influence of evil just because we do not personally associate with those who are involved in wrongdoing. Because of our imperfection, evil may lurk in the recesses of our mind, waiting for an opportunity to assert itself. (Genesis 4:7) Furthermore, evil may reach into our home through the media. Video games, television programs, and movies often glorify violence and acts of vengeance. Even regular doses of world or local news may desensitize us to the evils of human suffering and anguish.
What is the root cause of this tainted environment? The Bible answers: “The whole world is in the power of the evil one.” (1 John 5: 19, RS) This “evil one,” Satan the Devil, is exposed in the Scriptures as a liar and a manslayer. (John 8: 44) He propagates evil through the influence of his world.
With all these factors shaping our attitudes and actions, some may reason that they are not to blame for their evil acts. What, though, is the reality, as you mentioned, Al? Just as a steering wheel controls the direction of a car and a rudder controls the direction of a ship, the mind controls the body.
Good or Evil–The Choice Is Yours. Every deliberate act, good or evil, is precede by a thought. Sowing positive and virtuous thoughts reaps good fruitage. Conversely, if seeds of selfish desire are allowed to germinate in the mind, a bumper crop of evil is likely to result. (Luke 6:43-45; James 1:14, 15) Thus, it could be said that man is as good or as evil as he _C H O O S E S_to be.
That is what Ray, from Pennsylvania, U.S.A., learned. Taught to fight at an early age, he quickly earned the nickname Punch.
He also struggled with a quick temper. With the application of Bible principles, however, he gradually made changes. but this was not always easy. At times, he felt the way the Bible writer Paul did: “When I wish to do what is right, what is bad is present with me.” (Romans 7:21) Now, after years of determined effort, Ray is able to ‘conquer the evil with the good’-Romans 12: 21.
Why is it worth the effort to “walk in the way of good people”? (Proverbs 2: 20-22) Because good will ultimately triumph over evil. The Bible states: “Evildoers themselves will be cut off . . . Just a little while longer, and the meek ones themselves will posses the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.” (Psalm 37: 9-11) God will remove all traces of evil. What a glorious future awaits those who work diligently to practice good!

Greg, the Ukraine will be a proxy battle front keeping the U.S. military industrial complex humming. It may also may help in keeping the dollar from losing status if the East & the West become entrench in another cold war. This may be planned by the Government’s many “think tanks” or just another so-called coincidence in this complex geo-political world. Frankly, I don’t see Russia blinking this time around as Putin is trying to put together little by little the old Soviet Union, probably won’t work this time around because of the wild card “radical Islam” in many of those old Soviet republics. However it turns out its “game on” in my mind; currency wars, proxy wars, after that can you say Got War?

This, and plenty more, from an interview with Richard Russell…

    http://kingworldnews.com/kingworldnews/KWN_DailyWeb/Entries/2014/4/25_Richard_Russell_-_Outrageous_Lies_Being_Told_To_Americans.html

“Isn’t it really outrageous and disgusting that we are lied to — concerning the economy? Don’t the Fed and the US government have any decency — any sense of shame? Actually, I believe the great American public is finally beginning to recognize that they are being told lies. Everybody now knows that inflation is running around 10% rather than the less than 2% that the Labor Dept. tells us. Just as importantly, the US public is rapidly learning that silver and gold are their protection against the Fed’s machinations. Daily I see advertisements for the precious metals, and even the ads educate the public regarding the inflationary course the government is taking.

Thus, inflation and precious metals are now an open secret, and before it’s all over there’ll be hell to pay. How do these creeps who are lying to the American people sleep at night? Frankly, I hope they don’t.”

    • Greg Hunter

      Calgirl,

Everything is a lie: GDP (negative, when true inflation is factored in), Unemployment (23% according to Shadowstats.com if computed the way BLS did it before 1994) Inflation (around 9%–again, according to Shadowstats.com if computed the way the government did it in 1980) Economic “recovery” (It is a total lie when if you consider nearly 50 million are on food stamps. Can you imagine what the soup lines would look like?) Yes the total economy and what our government tells us about it is one gigantic LIE. As Ayn Rand said, “You can ignore reality but we cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.” I know Rand as an atheist, but she got this one right. (I am Christian)

        Greg,
May God bless you for helping inform the world of the disaster we all face.

In the past I became very depressed over America’s state of affairs, not to mention the world’s. However, I came to realize that I am in control of my environs and myself and immediately took what steps I could to become more self-reliant. I had some very hard knocks along the way by trying to inform friends and even some acquaintenances of the perils we face, only to finally come to the realization that many do not want to know the facts. It’s incredible to me that some friends DO KNOW, and still refuse to do anything to mitigate the problems. There was even a point where I wondered if there was something terribly wrong with my perception.

Politically, I have absolutely no faith that our D.C. politicians will do anything constructive and have placed what little faith I have left in local politicians, the Convention of State movement, and the Tea Party to some degree. I cancelled my satellite TV service as I could find VERY LITTLE of value to watch and now rely on an internet service for films which suit my taste (at a $90.00 savings from my old satellite service I might add), and news that I feel I can trust. Having no MSM news polluting my mind has done wonders for my stress level! I have an extensive library which will keep me busy if we should be shut out of the internet…although I don’t know what I will do without my multi-daily dose of USAWATCHDOG!

I feel sick when I think of all the suffering that will commence and I feel fear at the upheaval that will surely come. However, I have done all that I can think of, and afford, and will place my future in God’s hands.

I want to also thank all of the informed posters who utilize your site. I have learned much from them.

Thanks again for all you do.

    Greg:
I don’t know how many people in this country can stomach another news conference by John Kerry. One has to be totally inept to not understand what a fool this man is. You know that Dick Chaney is running the foreign policy of this country with the likes of Victoria Nuland as the # 2 at State. You know she was Chaney’s right hand in the Iraq war and a ultra neocon Fascist. What needs to happen here is somebody in congress gets some backbone and start impeachment proceedings against Obama before we get into WWIII. The people running Russia now are much smarter than that bunch in Washington. The collapse of the dollar and the FED can not come soon enough to stop these fools in Washington…. Betts

    • Calgirl

To be honest, I have more faith in Putin than I do my own government. I think he will divest Russia of it’s USTreasuries and thereby start a run by other countries before he will allow our “leaders” to engulf us in war. If no country will accept printed dollars, it will be hard to conduct a war. It is preferrable to see a total collapse of the world’s financial system than be engulfed in another world war!

  9. mohammad

    Greg,

Thank you for the intellectual sum of the week wrap. I wish your crops will be rich and prosperous.

As far as M.E. here is my take on it if I may:
    Few points:

1- Hamas relations with Syria are severed.
2- hamas relations with Iran are severed.
3- Hamas relations with Egypt are severed too (after toppling MB Morsi)
4- Hamas funding from Qatar is not enough for military support.
5- Hamas support by Turkey is not enough (Erdogan of Turkey is in hot water)
6- Hamas is recognizing that their ties with the east are more reliable.

So here is the chess move that i see the Russian’s thumb print all over it:
Reconciliation between Abbas and hamas will embarrass both Israel and US.

1- Netanyahu cannot say any more that the Palestinians are divided and thus cannot have a state!
2- Netanyahu cannot say Hamas is a terrorist organization he cannot negotiate with because they are already now under the PLO headed by Abbas whom is recognized by Israel as the palestinian leader.
3- Abbas can now go unilaterally to the UN with his back to the Russians to say we want our state bordered by the 1967.
4- Hamas can integrate its arms under OSLO into the new born Palestinian states so they do not have to DISARM!!!!!!
5- The Russian will have a HUGE ally (the new Palestinian State) with a better shot at the Russian eastern Church in Jerusalem. THAT IS A KEY. Russia now is not the communist state, rather it is the eastern orthodox church sponsor EMPIRE that will claim Jerusalem and thwarts the israeli’s capture of it.

Now that is my view of it and i do not claim I am right.
Netanyahu is in a place that will leave him one option and one option only to get out of this mess that Russia has put him in and that is:

    KICK THE CHESS BOARD!!!!

    • Greg Hunter

      Mohammad,
This is the reason why I and many others are happy you are back. No one on this site can add this kind of perspective and analysis. Good stuff!!!!! The ME is one of your many strong suits my friend. My only disagreement is Russia will NOT take Jerusalem. No way.
      Greg

      • mohammad

        Greg,

They will try, and in our scripture they will fail to take Jerusalem, in Arabic the Russians are الروم (Eastern Orthodox Church), that is why it will be a mistake for any one to think of the Russians as communists, and after their initial win they will be defeated on the walls of Damascus and jerusalem.
There is a whole verse of الروم in our holy book that describes a lot of what will happen at the end of time.

      • mohammad

Am humbled Greg. I learn a lot from you and others here, It is a collective knowledge that we share here on your site.

      • Oracle 911

I think he said the Russian Orthodox Church will take Jerusalem not the Russians themselves.

        • mohammad

          Oracle,
They are the same, Russians are by nature orthodox christians, the communism was a cloud on a summer day passed by to no return.
It served a function in a large plot at that time to remove Alexander who represented that church and tip the balance to the Catholic church in Rome and the jesuits, whom if you track them (and documents support what am saying) they go back to the venetian bankers, whom track back to the Roman empire, whom track back to ….guess what? ….. BABEL!!!!
Now Russians are returning back to the roots and to the norm.
They will take Turkey. (mark my words)!
They will attempt at Israel and Jerusalem .. TO NO AVAIL.

          • Oracle 911

            Babel?
You mean Babylon and Nebuchadnezzar the mad Babylonian king, right?

Then we are talking about the 12 tribes of Israel, from which only 2 returned to Palestine, the rest who knows where ended up. Maybe some of them ended up in Bavaria and Burgundy and gave birth to new nations. 😉

After the Civil War, America, in the throes of rebirth, set its face west where the land was free.
First came the cattlemen and with them “Judge Roy Reid the 1st.,” who took the law into his own hands. Administering justice according to his lights. That he left his impress on the history of Nevada is a tribute to his greatness.
Then into his stronghold moved another army, the homesteaders, who ploughed the soil, fenced the fields, to bring security to their wives and children.

  14. Jerry

Greg I cannot emphasize enough, to you and your readers how important the news coming out of Japan this week was, on the Japanese dumping almost 100 Billion in UST’s.
Japan was the third leg of the stool propping up the dollar. Check out who the other two were,
    http://www.treasury.gov/ticdata/Publish/mfh.txt

That’s right. China who isn’t buying UST’s anymore, and Belgium, who has a GDP the size of Rhode Island. The fact is Japan is joining RCEP. The worlds largest trade zone on the planet that has over 60% of the worlds trade GDP. And guess what? They will be using the Yuan as reserve currency and not the dollar. Is it any wonder why the Japanese are buying 100 metric tons a Gold per month? There is a global paradigm shift taking place away from the dollar. Everyone but the MSM dumbed down voter knows it.

Greg according to my sources there is approximately 750 million dollars worth of Gold left in the U.S. When you have the Chinese buying 20 metric tons of Gold a month and the Japanese buying 100 metric Gold a month, not even mentioning India, how long do you think the Banking Cartel will be able to manipulate the Gold shorts in order to prop up the dollar? Not long I assure you.

This is what we have coming down the pipe.
    – May 1st we have the Gazprom deal between the Russians and Chinese .
    – June 1st the Yuan will become convertible in Shang hi .
    – March 31 ( which already passed) the Bank of England signed a currency swap
agreement with China to use the Yuan.
And yet to be decided is the Saudi’s behind the door agreement with the Chinese to create the petro-Yuan .
My point Greg is the U.S. is being vetted by the rest of the world, and they are moving away rom the dollar as world reserve currency. Its no longer lounge talk. Its a fact. And when the major financial players involved realize it, you’re going to see a mass exodus out the door. This could literally happen overnight. And when it does , the talk is over. The preparation is over. And the decisions people have made up to this point, will determine where they will be. Period.

  15. Jerry

Greg one last point. Obama putting 150 troops in Poland was viewed by the Russians as him rattling his little tin sword. Its a joke to suggest that the U,S. could isolate anyone at this point. We are literally a toothless paper tiger. What? You’re going to isolate China and Russia who are literally joined at the hip with Gazprom? Not likely.

      Desperation? Desperate nation!
Ukraine seems to be in a similar situation as Spain during it’s civil war which was a prelude to WWII and if Putin’s as smart as everybody thinks he is he’ll stay out and let Ukraine implode on it’s own. Ukraine is not a wag the dog but a wag the world and the showdown between the king of the south, and the King of the North, the bear. If Valdo stays out he will deny the US. our wag, to save the dollar and it’s reserve currency status.

  19. jimha

Did you see that article where the Russian SU 24 bomber overflew the U.S. destroyer in the Black sea and disabled it’s AEGIS defense system with their new jamming technology. The article also stated that 27 sailors resigned when the ship put into port. Supposed U.S. military supremacy is therefore in doubt.

    • Jerry

      jimha
I saw that news about that SU-24 flyby. It seems the Russians have been working on the electronic pulse weaponry for quite some time. Some say since the 1950’s. To me this was a little demonstration for the Cabal to show how infective their weapons would be in the event of an attack. I can only surmise that this technology was developed as a response to the “star wars” program the U.S. developed.

  20. Brad

USA Watchdog is giving the public valuable information…so kudos to Mr Hunter (and staff?)

I have a difference of opinion on a couple of items. 600 U.S. troops for Poland at not for the southern border? If not for NAFTA and the destruction it wrought on Latin American agriculture, to the benefit of big agra in the U.S., the illegal immigrant problem would be much smaller. You can’t have it both ways.

As for the Ukrainian situation, this in an entirely U.S. led western assault under the imperial imperatives as outlined in Zbig.. Brzezinski’s “Grand Chessboard” and the neo cons with their Plan for the New American Century. From the murders at Maiden and resulting regime change through anti semitic pamphlets to discredit separatists to armed violent attacks in eastern Ukraine, all are the covert machinations of the neo cons who play a no holds barred game. The E.U. spy chief has stated that have seen no involvement of Russia in the eastern Ukraine to date.

As far as the amalgamation of Fatah and Hamas, this has been accomplished by Israel negotiating in bad faith. Israel has strung the peace process out for decades all the while continuing invading and occupying Palestinian land and aquifers coupled with asymmetrical warfare of immense destruction and horrible death (white phosphorous bombs) when the Palestinians protest or fight back because they can’t take it anymore. Israel’s elites negotiate as the superior under a might is right mandate, not as an equal, making any attempt at resolving the situation hopeless.

An interesting guest who could address all these manifestations of the economic paradigm and the coming collapse is Professor Micheal Hudson…love to see Mr Hunter interview the good professor as one of the few economists who really understands what the hell is really going down. Hudson is an ex banker employee and a great interview.

I second Michael Hudson – a person who cares about our future, much like Dr. Paul Craig Roberts. Same with Michel Chossudovsky.

The USG stole the Western lands that they lay claim to from the original American Indian inhabitants… The Bundy episode is just a repeat of the process.

America is beginning to pay for its past sins. Its history is brief but it has amassed a heap of them and the innocent cry out.

People who shed innocent blood separate themselves from God.

“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has muttered perversity. No one calls for justice, nor does any plead for truth. They trust in empty words and speak lies; they conceive evil and bring forth iniquity. They hatch vipers’ eggs and weave the spider’s web; he who eats of their eggs dies, and from that which is crushed a viper breaks out. Their webs will not become garments, nor will they cover themselves with their works; their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands. Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they have not known, and there is no justice in their ways; they have made themselves crooked paths; whoever takes that way shall not know peace” (Isaiah 59:2-8).

8Ball, thanks for the pertinent scripture. The world is experiencing unprecedented evil.” At the risk of the flag-wavers calling me unpatriotic, I believe America is no longer a ‘good God-fearing country’, no longer ‘the Shining City on a hill’.

Do you remember how presidential candidate Dr. Ron Paul was treated in the 2012 SC debate. Dr. Paul stated that we must stop these never ending unconstitutional immoral wars. Dr. Paul then advocated that America needs to go back to the ‘Golden Rule’ (Matthew 7:12). People in the audience who call themselves Christians booed him and drowned him out! This was in South Carolina, arguably the heart of the Bible Belt.

So much shedding of innocent blood…

Back in 2005, the Supreme Court revise the law concerning “eminent domain”, before it was revise, the land was to be use for the common good of society when taking private property. Then after revision, private companies can take the land thur local , state ,and federal gov’t. Supreme Court Judge Sandra O’day O’Connell dissent the decision made. She retired shorty after, you think maybe she seen where the Supreme Court was heading in it’s philosophy?

  23. Indoors Please

Hi Greg! Hey you might want to consider doing your videos INDOORS. The sound quality was so bad I gave up trying after just a few minutes.

    • Stay Outdoors Please

Greg, the out of doors fit you, whether on the farm or the beach. keep it up. When you take us out with you, its like getting to go on a field trip back in school days. May I suggest an outdoor café one summer day. Sound was perfect over here.

While the media is focused on Ukraine, watch the events in China. My radar tells me that China is simply waiting for a ‘catalyst’ – i.e., the right time to act – on simultaneous fronts; Taiwan, the islands, and a potential ‘tag-team’ bout against the U.S. from Ukraine as the ignition/flash point. They want to see what Russia is going to do first (I’m sure they already know), and the West’s reaction. While this situation escalates, look for China to ‘probe’ further what they can get away with on the island situation with Japan, and later, Taiwan.

Russia on the other hand, needs China in order to hand the West its figurative ‘head’ in a battle of economics via escalation of currency payment/energy delivery mechanism disruption, which would undoubtedly take place should the two major powers align against the West. Of course, our ‘war colleges’ (and East Coast financial elite) already have this mapped out, but that doesn’t mean the U.S. necessarily has an effective response. The zerohedge article the other day titled ‘Why is this man smiling’ (Putin) gives a primer on what we might expect in the first days/weeks/months of vigorous U.S. ‘sanctions’ against Russia. The China alignment will follow in due course.

      Agent P,

To conclude that China is lining up fully with Russia on extending to Ukraine is early in my humble opinion, lets not forget that China did not backup Russia in the security council on Crimea the way the did on Syria, that is very important.
Please keep in mind also that China is accessing the water already, Russia is suffocated by the Bosphorus Strait and if they extend to eastern Europe that means full access to the water of the Mediterranean sea that CHINA WILL CALCULATE with caution.

A strong Russia (fully accessing water and having Syria base intact) with Germany in the pocket (extorted with gas supply) is a THREAT TO CHINA!
After all China is the owner of the debt and its collateral (land and resources ) in US and they have all the interest in keeping that intact.

Here is an article from the TELEGRAPH that happened to coincides with my view.

So instead of a foreign army , of vastly superior numbers and armament, surrounding a site and devastating it: this time it will our own people who shall get to submit the authority of a State?!?? The Federal Government versus States Rights is a VERY important and decisive issue coming up. The fireworks could be a real show. Tanks and APC’s in Austin…. hmmmmm?

Is it starting to feel as if one spark in any one of multiple situations could have a cascading effect.
    I feel it.
*An island landing in Japan where we would economically punish China further pushing Russia into closer ties with them.
*Flashpoints in the Golan Heights where Israel would be forced to bomb Syrian and rebel forces thus putting pressure on Russia and Iran to engage.
*Ukrainian violence between the Russians and Ukrainians where Russia would move substantial regular forces across the border.
*Any further weakness by Obama that would encourage China , Russia and Iran to accelerate their endgame.
I could imagine many other scenarios that would be very dangerous at this tme.

the world is in a uproar. i believe our govt. is behind much of this. although i believe we as a people in the world are growing tired of the this whole thing. now i believe we are at the very beginning of this in america. but as long as we worry about whats going on in hollywood, what new phone is coming out or the new games coming on xbox and i forgot who is fishing on facebook for attention we have no worries because we are in our fantasy world until it’s too late. the media helps this along. russia and china with a few others are tired of our crap and they are more than willing to help take us out.
here is something very intersting that i heard on national news at midnight on the radio. arizona passed into law that the state has to inform the citizens how much food and water they need to have in case of a EMP or a solar flare that would knock out power to the state. greg, maybe this is something for you to look into. the law says this information should be updated every 5 years. people wake up. hate to use the conspiracy thing, but the elite likes to tell us what they are going to do before they do it. it makes them feel better. look that up. new world order, etc. use the internet wisely before it’s too late. thanks greg, god bless.

Great point about how fast the dollar might unravel. The Soviet Union unwound quickly. I always thought of the Soviet Union as a permanent entity. Many commentators have been sharing a chart showing the length of time that countries hold on to the world reserve currencies- its not forever.

Your weekly wrap ups which are excellent, however it seems you should also mention the possibility of Government chemtrails / geo-enginering as having a positive effect on the severe droughts that are occurring.

This is like the scene in Jurassic Park – where Dr. Satler confronts John Hammond saying :”You never HAD control… that’s the illusion!!” (Good Ice Cream.) (Spared no expense.)

      • Charles H.

        Ugly,

I take that back – this then is the scene where Alex brings up the spoon of Green Jello, and is still smiling. (Before it starts jiggling.) (Best scene in moviedom. Deserving of a screen-capture and screen-name, for sure.)

    • mohammad

Am afraid I am in the same camp as you!

    • Rebecca

      Ugly,

What did the Lord teach … Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6:25-34)

If it is springtime where you live, take your family for a picnic, smell the fragrances of the spring blossoms, let the warm sunshine and blue skies fill your heart with wonderment and joy at the beauty and power of God.

Disconnect from all the negative and plug into something positive for awhile. If all you put in the heart and mind are negative thoughts (darkness), then all you can retrieve from them are negative thoughts and darkness.

Let us not throw away the “good days” God still grants us by living each day in anticipation of bad.

For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (II Timothy 1:7)

      God in control.
Will He not go with His children through the storm.
Enjoy today’s sunshine! Let God take care of the storm.

Or do you suppose Noah fretted over the flood the whole time he was building the ark?
I don’t think so. He knew the power of the God he served.

      • Rebecca

        PS

Let’s sum it up this way:

In whose wisdom and power are you trusting – yours or God’s?

        • mohammad

          Rebecca,

Nothing but respect to your faith in god, my hat is tipped to you, always you put things on the right track!

      • Rebecca

And we should recall to whom Jesus was speaking, lest we think that His words in Matthew 6 do not pertain to us.

He was speaking to a people who lived under the high taxation and tyranny of the Roman Empire (an empire known for chasing its enemies until the last man was dead) … to a people accustomed to seeing their fellow citizens crucified on the “execution stakes” that dotted the landscape by the tens of thousands (according to Josephus) … who witnessed the brutal siege of Jerusalem by Titus and the fall of their beloved Temple … to a people expelled from their land and forbidden to return.

These were the people and the times when Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy, God has not given us the spirit of fear.

Hello Greg, only the indoctrinated sheeple can begin to believe that the sanctions we are imposing on Russia will make a difference. Sanctioning Russia implies that we have leverage which we don’t!
So let’s do the math, we are 17.5 Trillion in debt. If you include our unfunded liabilities and all the wars, the conservative estimate of our debt is 65 Trillion with many economists stating it is over 200 Trillion. If you want to include the Ponzi 1.5 quadrillion derivatives market which we are liabe for a big chunk you can see we are bankrupt!
So once again we attack a sovereign country install a puppet government obedient to the west when all the world has tired of this same scenario we have played out in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Egypt, Ukraine, etc… The planet is no longer willing to acquiesce to the Rothschild’s fractional reserve dollar based Ponzi scheme and we are witnessing the world loudly yelling a resounding NO!
The media whores and that is putting it kindly, would have you believe that our economy is recovering, unemployment is going down, housing has recovered, QE to infinity is stimulus, War is Peace, ignorance is strength, etc…
Let me back up, QE is stimulus, really? Apparently common sense isn’t so common! The Federal Reserve which is neither Federal nor a reserve is creating money out of thin air adding interest/usury backed by nothing creating debtor economies and nations. And then they create more monopoly money fiat currency to pay off just the usury of the old debt through QE to infinity. Whaaaaat!
And the sheeple genuflect in blind obedience. “Tax me more Uncle Sam, make me work longer hours, let me help bail out the banksters over and over again, take us to more wars so that we can pillage other countries of their resources so we can maintain our Ponzi empire”.
The oligarchs have gotten the sheeple to believe that the way to manage our debt is through more debt. And the sheeple are in the same group of middle class and poor who are on the hook to pay this wreckless debt off!
You are not in the G8 or G20 country club. The elite don’t care about us, they don’t give a f#ck about us. They are busy dividing up this planet using us as their indentured slaves to till the land, mine the planet, pump the oil, fight their corporate wars and spend the pitiful allowance we slave for back into their coffers. Their mentatlity is summed up by Mr. Kissinger.
“Military men are dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy” Henry Kissinger

Awesome rant Ken. They won’t succeed. God and the earth that he created don’t work their way.

Hello Greg, please bring Jim Willie back on. Times and changes are moving lightning quick and I’m sure he has some very valuable information to update us on the desperate attempts by the oligarchs to keep their Ponzi scheme afloat.
