Trump Attacks Syria, Spying on Trump Worse than Watergate, Fed Dumping Debt

By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com (WNW 279 4.7.17)

The “War Card” has been flipped over as President Trump orders an attack on Syria. The attack came as a response to the chemical weapons attack in Syria allegedly by the Assad regime.  Not everyone is buying the story it was Assad that ordered a gas attack on his own people.  Former Congressman Ron Paul thinks it was a false flag to get the U.S. to make a move against Assad.  Now, the U.S. foreign policy in Syria has gone from destroying ISIS to removing Bashar al-Assad from power in Syria.  Russia will surely weigh in.  Will the Russians stand by and allow Assad to be attacked and removed by the U.S.?

One of President Obama’s top advisors has admitted to “unmasking” members of the Trump transition team. Rice says she did nothing wrong and did not do it for political reasons.  Republicans think differently and say Rice should testify under oath because this is a huge Constitutional crisis of an outgoing administration spying on an incoming administration to embarrass and undermine it.  Other former top Obama Administration officials have also admitted to spying on Trump and leaking classified information.  The spying was done for the so-called Russian collusion investigation, but after 8 months, the FBI and investigators have zero to show and no wrongdoing has been found.

The Federal Reserve has announced it will be shrinking its balance sheet. During the last housing meltdown in 2008, it bought the underwater assets of big banks.  It has more than two trillion dollars in mortgage-backed securities that are now worth something because of the latest housing boom.  Gregory Mannarino of TradersChoice.net says the Fed is signaling a market top in housing.  It pumped up the mortgage-backed securities it bought by inflating another housing bubble.  Now, the Fed is going to dump the securities on the market.  Mannarino predicts housing prices will fall and interest rates will rise.

Now I know how Bernie Sanders supporters feel like.

    • Gene

      You’re not alone there, FC!

    • Brightstar

Betrayed. Didn’t Trump talk about trillions wasted in the M.E. in useless wars? Wasn’t he in favor of good relations with Russia? Well, he thinks his supporters are just going to forget his positions? If he doesn’t recognize a False Flag, he doesn’t deserve to lead.

      • Frederick

Bright star I totally agree It was so obviously a false flag

Trump’s attack on that military airport in Syria was meant to deal with the neocon threat. He definitively didn’t liked the idea but he had to take the initiative. because the alternative would be neocon takeover and the 3rd world war.
        The facts for support:
-Before the attack Trump spoke about how the civilized nation have to stop the massacre, the bloodshed and SUPPORT of terrorism in all shape and form (or something like that: Trump described the attack as defending a „vital national security interest“ and called upon „civilized nations“ to help end the „slaughter and bloodshed in Syria.“).
-The Russians were informed in advance:
        http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-04-06/russian-forces-were-notified-advance-pentagon-statement-air-strikes-syria
-The targeted Syrian airport is in use again:
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-04-07/syrian-warplanes-us-hit-air-base-said-resume-air-strikes Which means something happened to the 59 Tomahawks because only 23 hit the target and caused minimal damage. The Russians either did something to them or the Tomahawks were junk or for practice fire.
        Now the immediate consequences:
-The neocons are in shock (as rest of the nation).
-He removed Hillary RC and solidified his position.
-The warmongers in the congress are DEMANDING CONSULTATION regarding further attack on Syria.
-He managed put his candidate into the US supreme court.
-The Russians cancelled the hot link with the US regarding Syria, which means Tillerson will be a regular guest in Moscow. They have a good excuse because the neocons opposed every visit of Tillerson of Moscow. And also the other members of western coalitions withdrew from Syrian coalition.
-He was able initiate personal changes in the White house.
-He got an invitation from China.

The real damage was a political one regarding the image of US and his person. But he can easily deal wit it by blaming the neocon controlled CIA and its current head.

        My 2 cents

What you described can only end in anarchy. We have no government if obama administration can commit tbese crimes and media is involved. There is NOW no rule of law. Please protect yourself.

      • helot

anarchy = no law, except God’s law.
        Sounds good to me.

  2. Dan

How’s Trump working out for y’all now? Like I said before, just another LYING POLITICIAN – wake up sheeple!

    • Paul ...

As Clinton said … it all the way you define what “is” is … so how does Trump define what America “is” … if Trump defines America to mean neocons … then his pronouncements of America First … really means … “Neocons First” … so out with Flynn … out with Bannon … and in with McCain!!!

      • Paul ...

So we out-ed Hillary and elected Trump so we could avoid WWIII with Russia … and now Trump “flips” is going to give us WWIII with both Russia and China??? … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_ecDJA3yjg

    • MsBev

Dan…President Trump is working out just fine for me, Thank you for asking.
He’s undone more crapolla (yes it’s an official word now) that Obama has done in 8 years within his first 100 days in office than any other republican candidate would even have thought of doing. He has made a few missteps here and there with his words and possibly a tweet or two, but I for one, never expected him to be unrealistically perfect…did you??? Oh and as for this ‘war’…false flag or not…it is what it is. He possibly is leading with his emotions instead of his political senses but then again, I didn’t vote for a politician … I voted for Trump to get done what is needed…and for the most part he is doing that. Is this action of bombing Syria a misstep? Was his tweeting that he was “wiretapped” a misstep? Many thought it was and now look at where we are with that massive bit of tweeted info. Time will tell my friend…time will tell.

      • Frederick

Wonder if you would sound so calm about all this if those cruise missiles had been fired at your grandchildren MsBev ? Pathetic

        • helot

          Dear Frederick,

          Reason, is not allowed.

Yes, time will tell, who loves death, and who champions life and Love.

    • Dan

What happened to “It would be a bad idea to enter into a war with Syria”?
What happened to “Congress must approve an act of war”?
Seems fishy that Assad would use chemical weapons at this point – question that narrative! (as Ron Paul does)
When all else fails, they take us to war!
Many voted for Trump as a vote against Hillary because she was in the banker’s pocket & a warmonger – what happened?
The United (?) States meddling in the Middle East has only ever made the situation worse, even for our puppet-master Israel, so why do we continue? Answer: because of the Military Industrial Complex.
Who made the US the police force of the entire world? It’s no wonder that most see US as the bully of the world & you know what ultimately happens to bullies.
It was supposed to be different with Trump; it is, it’s worse…SAD!

    • Oracle 911

More like the neocons and the deep state forced Trump’s hand. But that created a golden opportunity to write them down and getting rid of them. And once the neocons and the deep state is out of the picture Trump will be able execute his plan to re-industrialize America.
So before you write again a nonsense of this caliber look at the big picture.

      • Oracle 911

I wrote this as reaction to Dan’s comment.

    • ross

Trump has betrayed us all. This is serious business. Putin will not roll over like our Western puppet Politicians. Expect a huge conflict.

      • Frederick

Yup and for WHAT or who I should say Once again American sheeple will die for our keepers We haven’t learned a thing

    • Jerry

Dan we should have known with his connections to Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank what he was. Different song Same music book.

    • Jerry

      Dan,
I really wish I could be as optimistic as everyone else is about the Tomahawk missile strikes in Syria, but I see this from a different perspective. With a civil war raging in Syria for the better part of ten years, atrocity’s are nothing new. So what’s different this time? China.
      https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2017/03/17/china-saudi-arabia-sign-65-billion-cooperation-deals/99295228/
Everyone knows that the Saudi’s want Assad gone because of the oil pipeline that runs through Syria from Iran. I speculate this attack is nothing more than a last ditch effort to keep the Saudi’s from dumping the petrodollar. I find it striking coincidental that President Xi gin Ping from China just happened to be present when the attack was launched. I think Donald Trump knows that there is a global paradigm shift away from the dollar taking place, and that he needed to do something to restore confidence in the dollar . The attack serves two purposes.
      1. It sends a message to the Saudi’s that the United States still wants a deal with them.
      2. It provides a new scent to put the progressive hounds in Congress on another trail away from the “Bad Russian” storyline.
Will it work? I doubt it. But if you where in Donald Trumps shoes knowing the IMF World Bank meeting to decide the future if the dollar, is less than 15 days away, what would you do?

    • Charles H

I am afraid you must be confused, Dan. This isn’t a “sheeple” site.

    • This sceptred Isle

It is not looking good is it?

    • Macray

      Dan
Surrounding himself with a GS entourage definitely raised the Red Flags for me, but I tried to stay hopeful. With the exception of most Americans, most of the World knows there is absolutely no logic for the Syrians to use chemical weapons on their own civilians. The Don is smart enough to know this as well. I can only speculate that his preemptive attack may have been the result of the CIA getting to him
      or
you are correct in your assessment.
Were his family’s lives threatened? To write this off as just speculative foolishness given all we have witnessed over the last 6 months or more isn’t a stretch. Either way, I can see Russian and China even more motivated to leave the US dollar.
Should be an even more interesting meeting today with the Chinese President.

    • Eric

Trump is a Trojan Horse….. Our response to some lethal gas (lies) is blow the country up. All you Trump supporters will get your eyes opened….eventually. For those that kept saying (as I did) he was better than the alternative (Hillary) now we see even that is not true.
They needed cover for an economic, market, and dollar implosion and here it is. Russia will not let Syria fall. Don’t forget the N. Korean news being promoted daily. We will attack N. Korea also and then have to deal with a China response.
Prepare for a nuclear attack on our shores. It’s coming and you can blame the *ssholes running this country.
And we were worried about healthcare .

      • Frederick

Eric Now that was a realistic comment You are awake sir

    • Gary

First, Bannon is removed, and then the attack takes place. There is no way Assad is that stupid to launch such an attack, politically he would loose.
Looks like the NEOCONS have control of the Government again.

      • Frederick

Gary I wasn’t aware they had ever lost control to be honest

    • RTW

      Dan,
Actually he’s working out rather well. He possesses a spinal column as well as a pair of cajones, unlike that amoeba which occupied the WH for the last eight, long, agonizing, torturous years. The dimms are seeing what it’s like to have someone in that office who actually does what he says he will do without 40 minutes of nonsensical rhetoric to cloud it over and it’s scaring the hell out of them.

      • Frederick

RTW yeah sure Hope you enjoy WW3 Hopefully you’re not young enough to be drafted or have children It gets real cold in Russia during the winter Better get yourself more wool socks bozo

    • Freebreezer

Dan – you’re surely not implying that Hillary would have been the ONE to “give us the facts and only the facts”?

      • Freebreezer

Note – I am not sure as to why Syria would use the nerve agent right now … it makes no sense and it smells like two week old rotten fish! Though, I would hate to imagine what would be happening if the neocon Hillary was in charge.

    • Spurr

Since Trump was unable to govern, accomplish anything, afraid for his life…he has now officially joined the other side…the deep state…same side Clinton has pledged allegiance!
By attacking Assad on a pretext he has started ww3…! What the deep state has been planning all along! There was supposed to be war with Russia by April if Clinton had been elected…!

      • Greg Hunter

        Spurr,
Trump just made good on his Supreme Court promise and has been creating jobs while cutting regulation. I do agree that this Syrian strike is troubling if it is not legit.

DR V and my prepper group have a mutual friend Pastor Jerry C from Ukraine who s wife was an AP reporter from Ukraine but not now, in the 90 s. he listened to the jim rickerds interv. and asked me the big question. WHEN? LOL
I was glad to see trump beat cliton like a drum, that alone was enough to see this election and the gorsch nom.
dr v said he would send u a donation, I will hold his feet to the fire on that one. He has a mobile surgical dental trailer, so my teeth will be ok.

          • allen ols

also my wife is a good friend of pastor Jerry c and wife, and they told her they went through the 2 eco collapses of 90s, and now she is on board with my prepping. FINALLY!!!!!!!!! SHE IS STAYING WEEK ends with me and kids at one of my bug out locations and helping to rotate canned food. we give it to the poor, then buy more. ‘ He that giveth to the poor lendeth to the LORD”

Have to agree with you after this atrocity Dan Looks like we’ve been had bigtime

  3. Linda L.

Keeping in mind that Syria is a strategic region that western powers (globalist) have had their eyes on for some time, WHO would benefit the most by killing women, children and babies by lethal gas? A horrible act like this wouldn’t benefit Assad in any way. Clearly it seems more logical that global backed terrorists would do this to usher the world’s support for the destruction of Assad. All I hear blasted from the mainstream, propaganda media is that Assad killed these poor innocent people with a deadly gas, the ‘red line has been drawn” and we have to do something to stop
this evil man from killing his own people (ridiculous). But there’s ZERO information in the media regarding HOW our corrupt government came to this conclusion, nor any actual PROOF that Assad ordered these heinous acts. I find it interesting that Western powers say they want to take Assad down for humanitarian purposes because he purportedly kills his own people, but for years now the power elite basically have sat back and watched thousands of Christian men women and children being slaughtered every day by ISIS in the Middle East, with little global action against the perpetrators to save these people. There doesn’t seem to be any humanitarian concern unless there’s a strategic monetary gain (what a farce). The globalists are frightening because they care so little about the end results for humanity in a nuclear war with Russia, and this is where we seem to be headed. Putin may be lots of things, but he’s no fool, and I think he has a crystal clear understanding of this entire situation. Putin isn’t going to roll over and stop defending Assad or his own vital interests in Syria just because the filthy globalists tell him to do so. Now US targeted missiles are being shot into Syria by order of President Trump, who has appeared to have bowed down to the global elite and their ruthless agenda. I won’t be surprised at all if the US is hit in the near future by a sudden nuclear attack either on our Western or Eastern coast from Russia, or by the spoiled little brat in N. Korea with Russia’s blessings. We’re living in record dangerous times now.

    • Greg Hunter

      Linda L,
I’d like to see the proof on how the Trump team knew it was Assad that used the gas and not ISIS.
      Greg

      • Frederick

The proof doesn’t exist because he didn’t do it Just like the first time

      • Macray

        From Team Trump Pence
Preventing And Deterring The Future Use of Chemical Weapons

On Tuesday, Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad launched an unprecedented and horrendous chemical weapons attack on civilians, including children and babies. No child of God should ever suffer such horror. In response, President Trump ordered a targeted military strike on the airfield in Syria where the chemical attack was launched. It is vital to our national security to prevent and deter the use of chemical weapons.

        • Macray

          Greg,
I think the Don is saying Trust me. That may be the best you and the rest of our country gets.

    • Brightstar

Linda, I fear you are right, and Spurr as well. This strike frightens me not only for the act of aggression, but because it signals that Trump either believes the lies about the chemical attack (wasn’t it that an arms depot was hit, and there were chemicals stored there by one of the terrorist groups?) or has no control. I think he put people in power without finding out if they were warmongers or not.
Now, Putin has had it, and I don’t blame him. His response will be measured, and we may escape consequences. What is more frightening is the PROPAGANDA spewed out everywhere in the media about Assad being demonic, a killer…it all means we are living in a sick climate of deception where people are being fed lies for a reason…war promotion. Putin is also being set up as a villain, and we all know where that leads. USA to the “rescue” with more bombs and aggression. Why don’t people blast the White House with messages: STOP THE WARS!!! That’s all I can do, but at least I act even if it is a small action, I know I tried.

  4. monty bissett

Another reason MSM is going after Russia collusion story. There is actually a collusion story and the MSM media and DNC and Obamma administration were the collusion story.
I actually don’t think Fog Horn Leg Horn DJT is going alone into Syria. The Arabs will have to be the lead on this with USA help. 5 years late for no fly safe zone but better late than never. The Russians know the USA is in deep dudu with MSM tearing DJT apart and drawing USA into Syria will be final straw. Russia can’t afford to get too far into the mess either as folks back home are getting restless. Mr High told us mid March was the start of the end.

  5. Dwain Decell

    Greg,
Assad is not crazy. Watch western journalist interviews with Assad on you tube. exposes their lies and continuously turns their evils on own heads. Typical slandering getcha journalism. Same attitude and treatment given to Trump.

  6. Frederick

Trump is on the record as stating that the Clintons and Larry Silverstein are good people Enough said I don’t believe in him anymore especially after all the warmongering We’ve been had people Face it

  7. Alex

Trump is just another liar and from now on I won’t believe a single word coming out of his mouth. Apparently the warmongers in the USA want another war.

    • Frederick

The neocons like MCCain and the rest of his ilk certainly want war They want Assad gone Syrias central bank Gold and resources confiscated and then Iran and finally Russia Its so obvious where this is headed if Putin has a backbone which I believe he does LaRouchepac did a good job on this subject as did Dr Savage
Anybody notice how CNN is now suddenly praising Trump What does that tell you?

  8. andyb

Greg: Well, it is now apparent that Trump has been fully captured by the Deep State, and the more things change, the more they remain the same. The Red Shield is still in control as they have been for centuries. Russia, Iran and China are the only major powers without a Rothschild central bank (although there is a ? about China). Thus they have to be destroyed for the totalitarian agenda to be accomplished. Syria has always been about the pipeline for the gigantic gas field off the Israeli coast (controlled in part by Cheney and Murdoch) to provide energy to Europe and thus obviate the Russian pipelines that control the majority of gas for Europe. The danger is that this economic war will lead to armageddon, but the neocon psychopaths seem to care less.
The cui bono from the chemical attack is certainly not Syria; most likely a CIA/Mossad operation. After all, the US had committed publicly, less than 2 weeks ago, to let Assad remain in power. Given that, why would Syria engage in such a blatant act. Makes no sense.

    • Greg Hunter

      Andyb,
You really don’t know it trump has “been captured by the Deep State,” And we really don’tnow that the chemical attack was a false flag. That said this attack is very troubling. The U.S. went from wanting to destroy ISIS to removing Assad in a week. That is a fact and I find that bazar. Thank you for your comments.
      Greg

      • Frederick

First of all it obviously WAS a false flag but assuming Assad forces were behind it that still doesn’t give Trump the authority to just fire missiles into a sovereign country Greg You are giving him WAY too much leeway and he should be held accountable just as Obamas and Bush should

      • Gary

Greg what I find troubling about Trump, is the reversal, re Syria, and I was Pro Trump before the election.
Now with over seven appointees from Goldman Sachs in his administration, not wanting to restore Glass Stegal what
        change do you really have.
Removing Steve Banon from the security briefings just before the strike on Syria pretty well spells it out.
Our news media in Canada feeds the-same BS, agrees with whatever Fox, CNN, has on their feed.

Greg, you might want to check out ERIC MARGOLIS and get him on the show, a independent military annalist, journalist, writes a column for the Toronto Sun, the media in Canada will not let him on the airwaves.

  9. Corleone

Something missing here. I do not see Michelle Obama (Michael Robinson) in the cartoon.

  10. Elusive Joseph

Trump just lost a huge voter support base. He will never win reelection without a major calamity befalling the U.S. (and world). Watch the U.S. blame a biological terrorist attack on Assad sometime this year. What is coming will be a manufactured crime against humanity never seen before…

    • Frederick

Elusive We saw one on Sept 11 2001 if you were one of the jumpers

  11. Elusive Joseph

Until Trump actually brings charges against Rice, Obama, et al, for spying that is far worse of a crime than Watergate, I will not believe it. Trump hasn’t done a damn thing to bring Hillary to justice for her multiple crimes. So why should anyone believe he’ll bring justice against the Obama shadow government currently in effect? Same old dog-and-pony show and World Wrestling Federation duels and rhetoric in the public, but behind closed doors they’re all buddies and looking out for each other.

    • Frederick

Elusive great but you left out the worst of all Bush Cheney and all the neocons behind 911

    • MCasey

Elusive Joseph, Unfortunately I have to agree. When is Trump going after the criminals who have violated the American people? It’s not like we don’t have “leaders” who need to be removed from power. The fact that McCain is now praising Trump tells us a lot!

  12. tinku

Trump Adopt same policy by obama regime. Now one thing is clear trump completely controlled by past world order. very unfortunate trump soft on Pakistan.

  13. Neil

At this point Trump is looking captured or stalemated. His supporters have been far too passive and complacent about his individual effectiveness and this is the result. Trump supporters cannot just be followers of alt news and expect a different outcome. God cannot be expected to do all the work even if he is in charge. Trump hasn’t asserted his government as he needed to although it been saved from turning into a farce. He is however now in the influence of bad company and in danger of becoming enmeshed in the matrix. We have had the relentless broad spectrum swear campaign wearing down his impetus and authority, they have strategically picked of his key advisors and strongmen by concocting failings from faults and now have effectively isolated him from his spiritual compass in his base. This Syria move is a stupid one on Trump’s part but it usefully shows us the extent to which they have him surrounded or at least fed disorientating advice. All of Trumps supporters need to push back into the mêlée and retake their leader. Think of this as a Napoleonic battlefield. The cavalry need to charge on the flank where the Globalists have broken through and have Trump surrounded… This decision to attack Assad illustrates a serious breach of the all important divide of purpose that must exist. Trumpers must hear the alarm and quickly redeploy. His whole presidency is going to require constant vigilance and intervention to keep direction and be effective. Everyone has skin in the game and should apply themselves as if their life and life of their fellows depends on it, and it does. There is no reason for the Globalists to win out here. They are well out numbered and could be effectively closed down in a week if there was a plan to do so. They could all be reduced to house arrest and rendered impotent. This is the difference. Trumpers may have the righteous mission but they are not being effective in carrying it forward. Trump is only one man. He needs reinforcements and he needs a general to direct the battle. Citizens need to participate in that battle. No more rebel rabble. The time has come to front up and become the winning force that is on the right side of history. Take courage…

    • Brightstar

Neil. Someone needs to lay out an action plan. People don’t know what to do. Give concrete examples of effective ways to respond to this rash attack on Syria, a sovereign nation with an elected leader. This was an insane action before there was any proof of wrong doing….Assad is not a murderer. I\ve listened to him talk many times and he is very devoted to his people.

      • Neil

Well its probably a bad idea to lay out a multi faceted counter offensive here for all to see but lets consider what happened here. I am going to give Trump the benefit of the doubt and say people got to him or he succumbed in a reckless moment of diverted power. We know the Globalists want to create a big war for strategic purposes on the path to imposing global totalitarian domination and restarting conflict in Syria is also a highly desirable geopolitical goal for them. A further win for them in stealing this decision is a large number of Trumps supporters react badly, immediately feel betrayed, express disappointment and wish to abandon him. You can read such sentiments on this page. How shallow and weak minded can you be? Where is the grit to do something for your country, and because the stakes being played for are very high, for humanity? Rather than push forward into the White House, recapture Trump and close ranks the common view is that everything is hopeless and already over. Behold the defeatist and resigned mumbling from the supporters the minute they are tested. I am embarrassed for Trump that his supporters are such fair weather fellows. Grow some balls here and show some resolve. This is the key. It is not a game or entertainment. If you want an outcome play to win. Remember the Alamo, remember all the great struggles of history and dare I say sacrifice by those who believed in a cause. Trumpists must push forward and reconnect and provide some protection for their spearhead inside the government. Anti globalist groups and individuals abound and they can be very effective with a concerted application of their resources in diverse means. There is no reason why a very effective counter campaign and offensive measures cant be launched other than the fact that Trumpist supporters cant be bothered would rather suck their thumbs. Almost as bad as the blubbering snowflakes. Must be the GMO or fluoride…
Lesson 1. Don’t be a spectator, be a committed participant. Carry water for the team. Carry the flag for the cause. Play the game 100% and into overtime.
Attitude. Resolve. Solidify your determination. We cant do anything concrete if the cement of will isn’t there.
As far as formulating and laying out a plan or action, that needs to be off line. The first step is to set up a ‘war cabinet’ of interested parties and with secure communications.

      • Neil

In the matter of Syria being the ignition point for a conflict with Russia, Russia have been admirably restrained so far and denied all gambits but you can’t expect them to walk on water. If you don’t support the US government action, or rather the Globalist position involuntarily regurgitated by Trump on this occasion, then you should assail your representatives and make it clear that while they are trying their best to arrange a war for you they don’t have your mandate and you they won’t be getting any takers for their trouble. Instead, if your rep feels strongly that another cycle of mindless violence and destruction can resolve the worlds pathologically tended problems, offer to pay for their personal travel to Syria to conduct the fight on your behalf. Offer to provide a nail gun and a strip of flatheads….

  14. dlc

All I see out here in the nosebleed section is a prez who got duped into a McCain/Graham wet dream come true. Very foolish and we, the equally duped voters, will pay for this action.

My suspicion about the NY liberal kids running the WH also seems to be the reality. I see a domineering daughter who seems determined not to be abandoned a second time. Who is raising her toddler during all of this “Dallas” style maneuvering for power? Ain’t motherhood a wondrous thing, the hatchlings at home with the hired help. The extended family photos used for electioneering are beginning to look more and more like the Munsters.

Don Jr. mulling over getting into politics. Chelsea Clinton for prez? The Kushners are worth 0.75 billion. And we sit here thinking these people are even aware we’re alive.

Putin may well be a creep, as you say. PCR noted that Putin gave us umpteen chances to partner in sweeping ISIS out of Syria. He stood down against his better judgment waiting for us to team up. Some creep, huh?

Who is it that beats their chest and lobs bombs on countries continuously? I look at actions, results. Do you really think Trump’s unilateral actions solved anything? Assad has to go? Who is next? There is always a next. Never dreamed Trump would stoop to this.

And, as always, the soldiers will be the despised second class not trustworthy to tote a gun once out of the military. Doesn’t Trump have sons to offer up and a very busy son-in-law — flying over Syria with that idiot grin. Bombs away, boys. Just a game to these well-greased CREEPS.

  18. dlc

Why not get Congress involved, declare a war on the whole world. Why this piecemeal deceit? Bring back the draft so we can all experience broken husbands, broken fathers, legless mothers. Ain’t war exhilarating!?!

Every household should experience nightmares and sweats in the night, a relative on the floor in the living room in fetal position with the terrors, family members broken and dead before their time. Isn’t this who we are, as Barry would say? Not a clue as to building a future based on anything but debasement and death.

I’m reeling from the speed of Trump’s decision to follow W and Barry down the yellow cake road. What cr@p. Chemical weapons, the neo standby. Is destroying cheaper than building? Is that it? Give us a circus, no bread to bake?

Sex trafficking, child sacrifice, abortion mills, broken homes out the ying-yang, and we get to decide who needs killing from week to week? Like Germany, will the world say we asked for it when someone gets fed up and turns the U.S. into a moon crater?

  19. Mohammad

    Greg,

I am scratching my head asking my self why the hell they bombed that particular airbase?
And with out the approval of congress…!
For those who do not know, Al Shayrat airbase is close to ……Guess what……PALMYRA….Hmmmmmmmm

So far a 4 year old kid can conclude that THE ONLY BENEFICIARY FROM THIS STRIKE IS ISIS…..!!!!

    Soooooo

The front line blocking ISIS from advancing to Damascus is been hit now twice, once by the Israelis which i pointed to in an earlier post, and now by US.

    Hence the question commence. WHY?

It appears to me that the flushing of ISIS from Mosul, and the near flushing of ISIS from Raqqa is been accompanied by removing all the obstacles from their path to Damascus, As if someone somewhere wants to direct them into Damascus, Palmyra is not far from the capital, if so happens then it will be the perfect excuse to fight Assad In his stronghold DAMASCUS under the pretext of fighting ISIS.

I am still waiting for your tone Greg to start changing towards Trump. will see when the blunders will get larger.

Doc…and Damascus is only 132 miles as the crow flies from Tel Aviv. But is a 1200 mi. drive! Much to inconvenient for a growing nation who get a huge stipend from the American taxpayer…and I’m not talking about Syria. Double hmmmm.

If you need more land, nice land, on the Med it seems like the logical direction. Oh but then there is those damn Lebanese in the way. But I’m sure it is just a coincidence that Israel is preparing for war against them.

Once ISIS directed forces have taken Damascus, Lebanon will be next. Who is directing ISIS? Another hmmmm. It won’t be long until we find out to whom the spoils all go to and which country pays for it.

I sense that many breadwinners here are trying to keep up a family lifestyle with the middle class trimmings…and are stressed out badly.
I knew a man who worked 3 jobs trying to keep his kids in Catholic schools, soccer, etc. He was a single dad. The children didn’t dream of going to public schools. I don’t know if they knew how hard this all was for their dad or if they loved him enough to offer a change. Anyway, coming home in the middle f the night he was robbed and killed….which forced some maturity and sorrow on the children. One insisted on graduating with her class and stayed with friends, the other ones had to move in with an aunt in DC.
Another man like that ended up in Federal prison trying to keep up the same lifestyle. He laundered money and was thrown under the bus by his ‘friends’. He lost wife and daughter to divorce.
Another had to take his family out to McDonalds and tell them college was over, schools were over, his big job was downsized and he was too old at 55 to find anything to keep the family lifestyle. He came in to the insurance company actually crying, afraid his family would never forgive him. However, they rallied, dropped out, found work and survived.
I tell this because it seems the best security in this world, today more than ever, is to invest in close, kindly relationships . Prepare anyone dependent on you for scenarios…some people are actually relieved when they have to be ‘like everybody else’ and take the bus. Have faith in God’s tender providence….that’s the only real security.

On a pro choice site once I read of reasons for the choice to abort. Several married women said they chose it because they “just couldn’t stand the soccer practice and Scout meetings another 10 years.” It was horrifying to me that they were so insecure, so brainwashed, they compared life itself to such trivia. We MUST get over that thinking and get things straight.

You are so right! Today, pension plans are rapidly evaporating. Soon IRA’s and 401k’s will be decimated by market meltdowns, and Social Security and Medicare will be put under tremendous strain by federal debt and political pressures from younger voters. The only reliable “retirement plan” is a loving family.

I’m trying to get into Trumps head to figure out his actions … first of all he has all the DemonRats accusing him of being a friend of Russia … so why not bomb Russia’s ally while the Chinese President is visiting the US (so Russia can’t launch a retaliatory nuclear strike against America without killing the Chinese President) to dispel the DemonRat rhetoric about him being a Putin agent … then … perhaps in Trump’s mind it really didn’t matter who dropped the chemical gas bombs … because by bombing the airfield where Assad kept his chemical weapons (under Russian supervision) he now forever eliminates ISIS’s ability to use a chemical weapon “false flag” attack ever again (as Assad’s chemical weapons are all destroyed) … behind the scenes he forewarns both Russia and Syria that the air base will be bombed so they can move their men and equipment out of harms way … then he blows up an abandoned airfield … this makes him look like a man who can’t be bluffed … and North Korea and China back off from being so belligerent … this makes Japan and South Korea very happy … and in appreciation they both agree to spend trillions of dollars re-building American factories … the Neocons stop attacking Trump and even consider awarding him the Nobel Peace Prize for launching 50 cruise missiles at an independent nation without even seeking a declaration of war from Congress!! … So maybe in Trumps mind what he did was a win win win for the American people???

  31. Arthur Barnes

Susan Rice is lying again, she has committed several Federal felonies. Remember when she went on the Sunday talk shows to say that the Benghazi started because of a disparaging Mohammad cartoon and or video; we all know that was a lie too. She will say and do anything to undermine the truth. Placing her under oath probably won’t accomplish anything either as she holds no honor to truth. She also is like the Clinton’s who she also worked for before Obama in that she believes she is untouchable; and, probably is. Maybe it is time for outing the liberal left to be the lying unconstitutional fascist traitors that they are but in order to do that the FBI & the Justice Department must stop playing politics and do their duty. To do otherwise will just continue the status quo that there is never punishment for the elite no matter what they do in furtherance of their political ideologies.

Its about time that we got after this Syrian tyrant dictator because he is just another extension of Soviet Russian aggression. I’m proud of Trump for having fortitude and actually taking the first steps to making America great again. Perhaps Russia’s Putin will think more carefully about his provocative posturing and stand down before we have to go over there and kick his ass. I hope Trump puts his boot heel on Putins scrawny neck and teaches the world that the USA is not to be taunted or teased. Otherwise there WILL be consequences.

Re Putin: “Methinks thou doth protest too much” (cross-reference with Freud’s projection, reaction formation). That so-called scrawny-necked, provocatively posturing dude you belittle is a martial artist, ex-KGB and master chess player. Think you could kick his ass?

Do you not realize the absurdity of your remarks? It is only Russia that was invited to assist Syria by Assad, the leader of their government as recognized by the UN. No other nation that is in Syria should be there without being classified as an invader. So who has been doing the taunting and teasing? The US.

The unfortunate reality is that by its unrelenting warfare over nearly two decades now, it is the US that is despised by most of the world. Most Americans want an end to this endless warfare state and wartime economy. Despite what appears to be a rogue, dysfunctional government pushing this agenda, the last thing most of the American people want is yet another undeclared war.

    • Brightstar

Speaking of consequences, you will soon have yours.

  34. Russ

Thanks Greg. I hope President Trump had better intel on “Syria’s” chemical weapon strike than we’ve seen in the news. The news I’ve seen doesn’t give me confidence that the Syrians did it. We know that some of the “rebels” (al Qaeda) have the ability to manufacture chemical weapons. I’m seeing no smoking gun. Pictures of dead babies and videos of people wearing bio-hazard suits and victims coughing is not intel on who did it or if it in fact actually happened.

Assuming that the Syrians did drop bombs in that area — what did those aircraft drop? What did the bombs hit? From an LA Times article at: http://www.latimes.com/world/middleeast/la-fg-syria-airstrike-20170406-story,amp.html
…”Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Moallem told reporters that a government airstrike hit a rebel chemical weapons arsenal and munitions factory near Khan Sheikhoun that day, noting militant groups have continued to store chemical weapons in urban areas.
“The Syrian Arab Army did not and will not use such weapons even against the terrorists who are targeting our people,” Moallem said at a Thursday briefing in Damascus, adding that “we condemn such a criminal act.”
Russia’s Defense Ministry also said the toxic agents were released when a Syrian airstrike hit a rebel arsenal outside Khan Sheikhoun.” …

That is a plausible explanation. With that we have a conflict in the information from which we (mere citizens who get our info from the news) draw our opinions. I hope that President Trump had much better input than what we’ve seen in the news. Information sources that are not affiliated with either the Assad regime or the rebel forces would be a start; Intelligence assets that we actually control would be better. As it is, the LA Times article is telling me that Assad’s forces didn’t do it, and other news accounts are showing me people laying in the street saying Assad did do it. My conclusion is that the available information is inconclusive and in no way justifies 59 Tomahawk missiles.

    • Russ

      Additionally, the article at: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-04-06/evidence-calls-western-narrative-about-syrian-chemical-incident-question
Lays out a pretty good argument that it was all set up. ‘
…”the Syrian White Helmets are heavily supported by the United State government via USAID, are implicated in war crimes committed in Aleppo and other parts of Syria during the civil war and appear to have a large number of members who are involved with local Syrian militia groups and jihadist organizations. The White Helmets have also been caught staging rescue footage for propaganda purposes in the past.”… “ISIS is not the only rebel group to possess sarin and other kinds of chemical munitions in Syria however. Video obtained by Daily Mail shows that Syrian rebel groups in Libya have been experimenting with various kinds of chemical weapons for some years now. In 2014, the United Nations acknowledged that “abandoned” sarin gas cylinders had been located in the city of Aleppo. On April 8th, 2016, Voice of America reported that jihadist group Jaysh al-Islam used chemical weapons in attacks against Kurdish troops in Aleppo.”…

So no, there’s no smoking gun saying Syria did it, but there is information implying that the “rebels” may have staged it. So far, I’m not seeing it, but then…

“a man hears what he wants to hear
      And disregards the rest.”
Simon & Garfunkel – “The Boxer”

    • Russ

Just watched a segment on Fox News “The Five” where some of the intel which documented the flight path of the Syrian jets and also discussed imagery of the chemical weapon storage facility at Shayrat airbase which were targeted. So as suspected, there was considerably more intel available that what we knew about prior to striking the airfield. As for the policy of the U.S. striking the field when the U.S. itself was not threatened, I’m okay with that. I’ve got no love for chemical warfare and prefer that we make a firm statement now. It would have been better if O’ had dealt with this when his red line was so blatantly ignored, but now is good.

      • Frederick

    • Greg Hunter

      Russ,
I hate stating my opinion as fact on the net but this strike does worry me. Here is one overarching fact I cannot get my head around: The U.S. stated it was going to destroy ISIS and within a week we are not saying the goal is to get rid of Assad. I hope these guys have a long term plan that includes Russia as some sort of partner.
      Greg

      • John

        Greg,

I am very concerned with this strike on Syria. What gives us the right to attack another country like this? I wanted Trump to come in and restore our manufacturing base and to partner with the Russians and Chinese to cool down these regional conflicts – not make them worse! I do not like the appearance of engaging in foreign diplomacy with the Chinese as our guests at the same time we are launching missiles at a Russian ally – Syria. What must the Chinese be thinking in regards to our policy on North Korea? Are we trying to promote a sino soviet alliance to counter American objectives? This strike was foolish as it just alienates us from the rest of the world. We are in no financial/military position to provoke conflicts in the middle east and the pacific.

      • JC Davis

Greg. If they are going after Assad why not bomb where he might be ?

      • Russ

        Greg
Opinions evolve — mine certainly do. OTOH, facts are facts, and while they don’t change, you’ve got to recognize that in a case like this you may not know what you don’t know, but you need to recognize that there are facts you don’t have. That’s why my first thought (in my first post above) was a hope that President Trump had different facts at his disposal (intel) than what we saw in the news. His talking about dead babies was very emotional and I was hoping that he was not lashing out purely on that emotion. He wasn’t, rather he had good intel and the dead babies were simply a motivating factor. This was a very measured and totally successful strike. We (at least I) learned a great deal about how our President operates and I like it.

This goes back to Obama’s red line in Syria. I don’t know what Trump’s overall Mid-East strategy is, but it seems that POTUS has finally enforced O’s red line. In so doing, Trump has gained political capital on many levels — domestic & international, and has demonstrated a gravitas many thought he lacked. What can the Dem’s really say? This was O’s idea, but he didn’t have the nerve to follow through, or he didn’t really care. In either case he appeared hollow, nothing really there.

I have trouble thinking 2 moves ahead in simple 2D chess; President Trump is playing 3D chess where some of the pieces move themselves. It was not a coincidence that Trump was sitting next to China’s Xi having dinner while the strike was ongoing. While some leaders feel a need to be huddled in a war room as a strike of this magnitude goes down, Trump was comfortable sitting at a dining table with the President of China, confident that the team he had left in charge would make it happen. I wonder what Xi is thinking today vis a vis North Korea…

First time at bat in the majors and he clears the bases.

    • John

      Russ,

I differ in liking his actions on this attack on Syria. Launching missiles at a Russian ally and essentially giving the Russians one hour notice to get out of harms way is playing with fire. Putin has shown great restraint but his patience is wearing thin. Imagine if China were to launch an attack on Taiwan with Americans soldiers at key military facilities – what would be our response under Trump? We are in no shape to engage both the Russians and the Chinese by attacking their allies. Opening up a potential two war front with two nuclear superpowers is foolish. Unless you control the ground with troops these missile attacks are worthless and will only invite retaliation on our allies or ourselves – thereby provoking further escalation to something we don’t want to see. Over what – Syria? Sorry, there are limitations to American power and we better recognize this before we get a slap in the face from a country who has similar or superior capabilities to our own.

  36. Mr Mister

Well Trump fell for the Deep State’s trap once again.
    1) Deep State – chemical attack in Syria
    2) Deep State tricks The Donald into bombing Syria
    3) Deep State will activate the anti-war movement, expect massive protests.
    4) Trump’s Syrian war will trigger higher oil prices.

  37. al

I think Trump was the Cowboy who shot off his gun while entering the Saloon. He got attention and respect. Now he can negotiate. Do I agree with it? No. But that’s how I see it. He looks to benefit from any move, he’s benefited greatly from this move including Congressional support. Do I care about that? No. But that’s how successful negotiations commence. Remember, Xi is in Trump’s home with more than Syria on the table, including a gold trade note coming on line. Trump has to the negotiations with respect from the other side or it’s over.

    • Teeter

BINGO, someone gets it. Trump is the ultimate negotiator, this was a move with multiple benefits. Flexing our muscles when Xi is here and showing the World we will B’slap anyone we want, unifying congress, slappin around Asad, showing Putin who’s the BOSS. Jerry, keeping a close eye on the coming events pertaining to IMF,Gold,Yuan, Dollar, BRICS, AIIB, should get very interesting the next 30 days.

    • Deanna Johnston Clark

Yep, padnuh…it looks like a trigger-happy ‘ask questions later’ incident.
However, that’s what it LOOKS like.
The reality is that 4 (?) Syrian servicemen were killed….murdered, because there was no independent verification of the original crimes. So they were lynched, like in the old days, with no actual proof of guilt.
That makes us, the American people, responsible…according to the Nuremburg trials.
What can we do besides pray, our government is now renegade and beyond our power to stop.

Neocons have won a big battle over Syria. Trump couldn’t or wouldn’t fight them off. So sad. I held a very slight hope that Trump would prevail against the deep state but it was not to be. Goldmanites in many positions of authority. It was a long shot for those of us hoping to see a constitutional government restored to us and we see how high a hurdle that is now. Scripture tells us that world government prevails. Thank you God that you’ve told us ahead of time what will happen. My trust is in you and your wonderful promises to those who know and love you.

See the neocons Patting Trump on the back .. That’s how you know it was the wrong thing to do Make no mistake – I still support Trump whole heartedly. I do not like that he more than likely followed his advisers advice on the Syria Issue. The United States Citizens were outraged when they TRIED to do this EXACT play with the chemicals in the fall of 2013. I didn’t buy it then and I don’t buy it now. Trump bought it. I am disappointed does not mean I don’t support Him.

    • Galaxy 500

      Dude,
Right there with you. Had Trump dumped 60 Tomahawks on Raqqa, Syria… I would have popped the cork on good champagne. I know he had to send a message to the world, I just think this helped ISIS, who in all likelihood, did the chem-weapons attack themselves. And I be damned if it was Sarin. The video shows people dressed as Emergency Personnel with out proper equipment, some bare handed. Ok if it is chlorine (OK as in not a fatal mistake) but they would be twitching and dead if it was Sarin. This was a slick video production for Western consumption.

It’s a big mistake to destabilize Assad and Syria.
And we had thought Trump was on our side!
Maybe a big world war is a perfect diversion to help both the neocons and the libs.
What better to divert attention away from an economy that may be starting the mother of all crashes?
Greg, you are absolutely right to keep emphasizing that the scandals in Washington make Watergate look like a squirt-gun fight. You may be understating it.
Despite the wonderful wet winter we had here in California, things are not so chipper for agriculture. Almost every commodity is severely depressed in price, and some crops like tomatoes and beans are being discouraged by the processors from being planted. The rain storms are not ending which might delay our normal planting season for most of our summer crops. And I still think our nation will have future food problems between the effects of the coming hyperinflation and years of punitive environmental regulations that have served no purpose but for our input costs to soar.

M – smart move by Putin/Russia … Up to now, The USA gave Russia advance warning per all air strikes and the missile strikes in Syrian air space and where the missiles/airstrikes were going. With the communication lines “frozen”, the USA and allies now know that anything flying in to Syria airspace is at risk of being blasted out of the ski …. The US is now essentially locked out of the airspace in Syria. I pray it does not get ugly.

Short and sweet, that’s the way I like it… I on Ron Paul side on this one, false flag and Trump is falling for it. I hope no Russian guys get killed with Trump throwing bombs into Syria, because there will be hell to pay from Putan. You touch on North Korea , may I make on offer to the people of North Korea, I know Trump can not make such an offer, but I can. To the people of North Korea, to Kim’s uncles ( if he hasn’t killed them all , if you are still around, he’ll get to you ) to Kim’s half brothers,( if Kim hasn’t killed you all,) to Kim’s ugly wife, slut, I offer $100,000. dollars or $100,ooo. gold for putting a bullet into Kim’s head. Now listen, wouldn’t this be cheaper then a first strike? cheaper then one American life? going to Nuclear War with the dude ? This offer is just for the North Korean people. I don’t need no crazies from the U.S. trying this.

    • Greg Hunter

      Doug,
I really do not know it this was a false flag chemical attack or not. I do know the U.S. went from sending troops and equipment to knock out ISIS, to turning around, and changing course to knock out Assad–in about a week. That is a fact and that is very troubling to me. I hope these guys have a real plan.
      Greg

Jared Kushner, Beware of Jamie Gorelick
    January 11, 2017
    By Jack Cashill

More than a few of my Washington allies noticed a seemingly unremarkable bit of news in a Monday Washington Post article that they thought I ought to see. The article concerned Jared Kushner’s appointment as adviser to his father-in-law Donald Trump.

The appointment did not trouble my friends. What troubled them was the Post’s casual mention that Kushner’s attorney was none other than Jamie Gorelick, deputy attorney general under President Bill Clinton. Observed the Post, Gorelick “is confident that the anti-nepotism statute does not cover Trump’s appointment of Kushner.”

Nepotism was the thrust of the article. The Post made no allusion to the concerns my friends and I have about this relationship. I assured them that Kushner probably does not know Gorelick’s history. I write this to make him aware of why bloggers have taken to calling Gorelick, “The Mistress of Disaster.”

Some recent highlights. In 2014, it was revealed that the George Soros-funded Urban Institute had an officially sanctioned role in the vetting of non-profits that seek tax-exempt status through the IRS. Gorelick was the vice-chairman of the Urban Institute board.

In 2011, she represented Duke University in its attempt to squash a suit by lacrosse team members whose lives had been turned upside down by false rape accusations that the university aided and abetted. In 2010, Gorelick represented BP in the Deepwater Horizon oil mess. It gets worse, much worse.

In 1993, as deputy attorney general under President Clinton, Gorelick served as “field commander” for the horrific government assault on a religious community in Waco, Texas, that left more than eighty dead, twenty of them children.

In 1995, she went on to pen the infamous “wall” memo that prevented the FBI and CIA from sharing information in the run-up to September 11. At the time, a dismayed FBI investigator wrote a memo to headquarters which included the sentence, “Someday someone will die — and wall or not — the public will not understand why we were not more effective.”

In 1996, Gorelick stepped up her game, taking a lead role in the investigation of the TWA Flight 800 disaster. This was the 747 that inexplicably blew up off the coast of Long Island in July 1996 killing 230 people.

As deputy attorney general serving under a feckless Janet Reno, Gorelick’s assignment was to rein in the FBI. Five weeks into the investigation, she summoned FBI honcho Jim Kallstrom to Washington and served up a dose of political reality. To be sure, no account of the Aug. 22 meeting provides any more than routine detail, but behaviors began to change immediately afterwards.

The FBI had already leaked to the New York Times information that would result in a headline on Aug. 23, top right: “Prime Evidence Found That Device Exploded in Cabin of Flight 800.” This article stole the thunder from Clinton’s election-driven approval of welfare reform in that same day’s paper and threatened to undermine the peace and prosperity message of the next week’s Democratic National Convention.

What followed in the next several weeks was the most ambitious and successful cover-up in American peacetime history. At its center was Gorelick. With the help of a complicit media and the active involvement of the CIA, she and her cronies transformed a transparent missile strike into a mechanical failure of unknown origin.

Given her role, the months after the crash had to have been emotionally harrowing. In May 1997, the Clintons appear to have rewarded Gorelick for her steely performance with a job that would pay her $877,573 in that first half-year alone.

According to a Lexis search, not one reporter even questioned why a middling bureaucrat with no financial or housing experience would be handed the vice chairmanship of Fannie Mae, a sinecure that the Washington Monthly called “the equivalent of winning the lottery.”

Six years and an incredible $25.6 million later, having done her share to wreck the American economy, Gorelick responded to the call of duty once more and took just one of five Democratic seats on the 9/11 Commission.

During the 2004 Commission hearings, CIA Director George Tenet first addressed the “wall that was in place between the criminal side and the intelligence side.” Tenet made that barrier sound impenetrable.

“What’s in a criminal case doesn’t cross over that line. Ironclad regulations,” he insisted. “So that even people in the Criminal Division and the Intelligence Divisions of the FBI couldn’t talk to each other, let alone talk to us or us talk to them.”

In her response to Tenet, Gorelick acknowledged the wall and claimed to have used “brute force” in her attempt to penetrate it, but she took no responsibility for its creation. The task of assigning credit was left to Attorney General John Ashcroft.

“The single greatest structural cause for Sept. 11 was the wall,” said Ashcroft. “Full disclosure compels me to inform you that its author is a member of the commission.” That author, of course, was Gorelick, the same official who oversaw the cooperation of the FBI and the CIA in the corruption of the TWA 800 investigation.

As the nation learned in the aftermath of 9/11, the “wall” that was breached all too easily to protect the secrets of TWA 800 held much too firmly when it came to the secrets of our enemies.

Jared, don’t trust her! If need be, I would be happy to sit in a room with Ms. Gorelick and hash this out.

“Call it ConAir and Little knows what you mean. It’s the name the air transport system has picked up inside the U.S. Marshals Service, which flies a fleet of 13 airplanes on regular routes across the country every day.

During the past year, the prisoner airline spent $24 million moving more than 100,000 federal inmates — including 12,000 from San Diego — to and from trials, prisons and medical centers nationwide.

The inmates fly mostly on 727s and DC-9s. But the airline, which has merged with the air wing of the Immigration and Naturalization Service, also operates Convair 580s, a Lear jet and a number of smaller aircraft.

Among the most infamous of its recent travelers were Unabomber suspect Theodore Kaczynski and the men accused in the bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building, Terry Nichols and Timothy McVeigh.

Nichols and McVeigh were transported in the dead of night in an operation much akin to a clandestine military operation, Little said. He did not want to go into details but mentioned that a decoy plane was among the ploys used to guard against possible attempts by supporters to free the suspects.

Federal officials have always been circumspect about the fine points of prisoner movement. But ConAir soon could gain a higher public profile with the planned release in June of a movie by the same name.

In the Disney film, Nicolas Cage plays a hapless prisoner who wanders into a hijack plot aboard a Marshals Service plane carrying a group of high-security inmates.

The Hollywood marshals rough up some of the prisoners, and the plane crashes, leaving the real Marshals Service frowning on the silver screen’s invention, said Kristine Marcy, [Field McConnell’s sister] a top official in charge of detentions.

“We don’t beat up our prisoners, and our planes certainly don’t crash,” Marcy said on a recent trip to San Diego, where she was trying to find more jail space for federal prisoners.

The space problem here is acute because of the high number of border arrests.

So, San Diego is a regular stop on ConAir’s West Coast air route, with 12 flights per week scheduled into Lindbergh Field.

Prisoners — mostly people being held for entering the country with false documents — are flown from San Diego to Las Vegas, where they are housed in the city jail. They are flown back a few days later for deportation hearings.”

    Global swoop on newsgroup paedophiles
    “DAILY NEWSm28 November 2001
    By Will Knight

More than 130 people in 19 different countries have been arrested or are under investigation after police traced the distribution of child pornography through different internet newsgroups.

Technical experts at UK internet service provider Demon Internet aided officers from the National Crime Squad’s new Hi-Tech Crime Unit with the investigation.

A spokesperson from Thus, Demon’s parent company, says that investigators were not given access to the server logs that record Demon users’ activities.

Investigators were simply provided with access to newsgroup postings in the same way as any other Demon customer. Technical experts from Demon then helped officers distinguish the identifying information contained within the message “headers” of particular postings.

    Face recognition

Officers traced postings relating to certain images to different internet service providers around the world and then contacted Interpol to track down suspects.

Investigators say they discovered 10,000 suspect postings to over 30 different newsgroups and identified 60,000 new images. They plan to use face recognition software to identify victims in different images, to help trace them. This software has been developed in conjunction with UK company Serco, although no technical details have been released.

“This operation has sadly and distressingly brought thousands of new images of abuse to our attention,” said Detective Superintendent Peter Spindler of the National Crime Squad. “These young victims need to be identified and protected as quickly as possible.”

Spindler added: “We are able to show that those accessing these newsgroups did so regularly and with purpose.”

Nine regional police forces in the UK were involved in the operation. Warrants for searches or arrests were issued in 19 countries, including Australia, Canada, Germany, Israel, Japan, Russia, Sweden, Turkey, and the US.

    Evading detection

According to a report by the BBC, another 400 suspects could not be traced by investigators. Police have not said how they evaded detection but it is possible to post messages to news groups anonymously using intermediary servers that strip away header information.

The UK government introduced legislation in 2000, giving the police greater access to internet communications. Further provisions for the extended storage of data is included in new anti-terrorist legislation currently passing through parliament.

Privacy advocates claim that these laws could be misused and some question the justification for the legislation. Peter Sommer, at the London School of Economics computer science department, says that the techniques involved in the latest paedophile investigation did not require a special police warrant.

“It is apparent that the existing legislation was sufficient to help the NCS gather evidence and secure the ISP co-operation needed,” Sommer told New Scientist.’

“DHS ICE OTD … Since 1986, through various contracts, Serco has provided full training lifecycle support for all areas of this key Law Enforcement organization including Inspections, Border Patrol, Enforcement, and DHS operations at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy in Glynco, GA. .. Serco developed and scripted three scenarios based on negligent practices identified by the IG report that have resulted in the use of lost or uncontrolled weapons for robbery, murder, and the accidental death of a child. We used creative animation techniques, sound effects, music, and talented voice actors playing multiple characters to create an emotional appeal much different—and infinitely more powerful—from the standard WBT offering.

Serco has trained more than 400,000 DHS students in every region and district, at every land, air and sea border crossing, in classrooms, through WBT, train-the-trainer programs, on-the-job training and through the implementation of performance support systems in a blended learning environment. In collaboration with ICE OTD, our latest efforts have resulted in the accreditation and completion of three programs, including HSI FOTP, ICE OTD IDC, and ICE OPR. Serco was integral to the ICE team that was recognized by the 2012 “Excellence in Law Enforcement” Award given to the ICE Domestic Field Operations Training Program (DFTOP) Accreditation Project for having greatly improved ICE training, increasing operational efficacy and efficiency, and minimizing safety issues to ICE officers and the public.”

I’m afraid that with this Syrian attack – Trump got played upon by sharp insiders, who stroked an ‘America First’ chord; but put knives in his and our country’s back. The degree of purging the Military; Military Industrial Machine, and Intelligence Community from the work Obama made is perhaps insurmountable.

How do you know that sending Tomahawks into Syria was a seriously bad move?
When the main stream lying press seems to want it to happen.
When you are surrounded by Hawks in the oval office.
When Pelosi, Schumer and McCain sing praises for it.
When Bill Kristol thinks it was a great idea.
When a fabricated mania exists that is anti-Russia all the live long day.
When you want to improve relations with Russia.

It looks like Trump just lost 50+% of his conservative support. There were two choices in the last election – a foaming at the mouth crazy Thatcher wannabe who was calling Putin and everyone else she didn’t approve of a Hitler, vs a guy who said we didn’t need any more wars and we should make friends with Russia, China, etc.. Trump supporters like myself didn’t drink Kool-Aid. He was a roll of the dice from the getgo. So now his true colors have been revealed (rather reviled) and we are back where we started. If the markets are shut down do you think you can take your money out of the money market you sweep you winnings into? You know the government changed the law after the 2008 meltdown and now brokerages can restrict redemptions of money market funds. Jim Rickards talked about this in his most recent interview on USAW.

          • JMiller

You are correct Greg. If the stock market is closed, mutual funds companies and brokerages will also be closed and no transactions will take place. This includes money market funds at these institutions.

And even if the markets are open, there could be restrictions on redemptions in money market funds if certain triggers are hit.

Oh boy, here we go again…

Iraq War no.2. Based on more lies.

John McCain must be absolutely gushing with pleasure over this latest US attack on yet another Sovereign country.

Wait until the US, UK and Israeli Governments and their corrupt MSM broadcast that Syrian weapons of mass destruction pose a threat to US, UK and Israeli lives.

Where was Trumps’ Congressional approval or Authorization of Military Force to allow this planned (in advance) attack?
Trump must surely be vulnerable now to impeachment for violation of the US Constitution.
The question must be asked then – Does Trump, Commander in Chief, have control of his military?

Dr Jim Willie said years ago that you have to “think like a thief'” to understand and predict the actions of the Washington/Wall Street establishment. He was not deep enough in his assessment. You actually have to ‘think like a scheming psychopath’ . Any group that can murder thousands of their own people on 9/11 would not hesitate in the least to orchestrate a red-flag against civilians in another country if their agendas were threatened.
Does it make any sense that Assad, in the midst of favorable Peace talks and with ISIS almost defeated, suddenly decide that it was the right time now to go and gas his own people? Hopefully the US tactic (pattern) of blaming others for your crimes isn’t going to work for too much longer. The problem is they have to create ever more sinister crimes to convince their gullible citizens and vassal nations that only a foreign enemy could have perpetrated such a heinous act. Expect more red-flag events on US soil.

59 Tomahawk missiles “is a proportional response” – well it is if you support ISIS.
The US is without a doubt the no.1 rogue nation on this planet at the moment.

    Mr. Greg,

No drought in Colliefornia (as Ahnode calls it). Governor Moonbeam Brown officially declared it over. In fact, had another large amount of rain the last couple of days. (Maybe the governor’s mansion sprung a leak in the roof and the old Brown buzzard finally woke up?)

No, drought is the least of Colliefornia’s worries now. Don’t know if you heard but the the old Brown buzzard and his merry band of DemoNRats (plus a few bought off RepuBlowClowns) just passed huge tax increases. For instance, the tax on diesel is going up in excess of 20 cents a gallon. Should cripple what’s left of the trucking industry. Big tax increases on gasoline and the vehicle registration tax, too.

“When speaking about the military intervention in Iraq many years after it happened, Tony Blair (who served as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1997 to 2007) acknowledged that they had misled everybody,” Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov emphasized. “Now they did not even bother to provide any facts referring only to photos,” he noted. “They indulged in speculations on children’s photos, on evidence provided by various non-governmental organizations, including the so-called White Helmets, which staged various ‘incidents’ to instigate action against the Syrian government.”

Good wrap-up!! Fear not, Trump is a negotiator and He likes to deal from a position of strength. Putin respects strength, and had no respect for Obama. I think Trumps position on Assad is a ploy to get Syria and Russia on his side to clean up the Obama mess. If I remember correctly China was insulted when Trump first became president. Look at this week in Florida. The two leaders had a good meeting and started a relationship the will hopefully benefit the USA. Trumps method of operation is acting tough then working to build a relationship to get what he wants. Lets pray that this works in the middle east where Russia is key with Syria and Iran

Love Trump’s attack or hate Trump’s attack, these are the facts NO ONE is talking about and it mostly has to do with the video just after the attack of the dying children and the white hat workers.

Regarding the video; IF sarin gas was used to kill those kids, the workers touching the dead and dying kids, wearing nothing but useless drywal dust masks would have keeled over RIGHT NOW and started the sarin gas dying process. No one hated MOPP gear training more than I did and flying a helo wearing MOPP gear really sucks but just based on the little training I’ve had as an active duty and reserve pilot, it is a FACT that if those kids died and were dying from sarin gas, those white hat workers would also have died right before our eyes, period and that is NOT arguable.

Second, about a week ago, the Trump administration announced that Assad could stay on as the Syrian leader without us trying to oust him. Why in the world would Assad murder children with sarin gas, knowing they’d be seen writhing and dying on video for the entire world to watch AFTER he’d been given a green light to keep on being Syria’s leader?

I get it that Putin and Assad are evil guys but this dog’s not hunting for me. I’m keeping my powder dry over this whole Syrian gas-US missile attack deal until someone explains why the white hats are still alive and what the hell would motivate Assad to do something so incredibly stupid, begging for his own demise.

    • JMiller

      larrythelogger,

You and others have been asking why would Assad use chemical weapons when the U.S. said that Assad can stay in power. I do not believe Assad would do that if he was smart, even though it would not surprise me if the Syrian military still had some chemical weapons. But how do we know that it was not one of Assad’s commanders that carried out the chemical attack so Assad gets the blame and more pressure applied to have Assad removed from power? Just asking.

All that hand wringing over the beautiful babies murdered in Syria. How about the beautiful dead babies and children in this country at the hands of illegals? DC, the nerve center for pedo rings, drugs and gun running wringing its hands over babies — flashback Iraq.

Elizabeth Warren demanding that we take in more Syrian refugees. How many has she adopted personally? She is one of the many politician millionaires.

This whole event smells from top to bottom. Why would Assad cut his own throat internationally by such an act at this time? Why does McCain make so may trips to that area? He does not confer with Trump, so who is this water boy serving?

Susan Rice and Hillary have not received a scratch for their treachery but Assad must go. Nicki Haley, a battle-hardened Braveheart, lectures Syria while we wear horse blinders when it come to destroying our middle class with the refugee influx.

From here on out I expect little from the current crop of BS flingers, especially from the NYC liberal faction. I’ll believe the other promises when they are concrete finished accomplishments — the wall, tax reform. Forget a sane health care fix — that fix is in. An immigration freeze could make me feel like less of a sucker.

Just what is going on in Washington DC (Despicable Cesspool)? Yes, many have claimed that Trump has already sold out to the neocons and has become just another lying politician.

For me, it’s too early to rush to judgment. That’s because the only thing I am certain of is that disinformation and misdirection *remain* the order of the day. The “fake news” meme brought against the independent media by the MSM was turned back against it. But the term is so indiscriminately overused now that one feels s/he cannot trust almost anyone anymore. Did you see that misdirection coming?

So in this swirling haze of confusion, the latest scandal is Susan Rice, a virtually certain to have committed felonious treason and fraud in support of her Oblamer and Hitlery-Billary comrades and czars. Even the MSM could not ignore these accusations.

So, how do the anti-Trumpsters divert attention away from the mounting evidence to arrest and indict these (and other pedophilic-murderous) heinous criminals? The same baseless charge that Assad used chemicals against his own people is trotted out for the third time (following its use in 2013 and 2014).

Next, an overkill by the US of Tomahawk missiles targets this depository of chemicals allegedly used by Assad. But since he removed all chemicals under UN supervision years ago, they are now believed to have been in the hands of, wait for it, ISIS).

Reality check: Syria with Russia’s aid has clearly been defeating ISIS. Why would Assad resort to such a counterproductive tactic? Insiders report that both Syrian and Russian personnel were told to evacuate well before the attack, whose logistics required advance planning.

Could Trump be using this as a misdirection to not only appear to (temporarily) placate the warhawk neocons but to also flush out the remaining disloyal excrement currently hiding in the shadows? Before he moves to restructure his administration and finally arrest-indict those deserving it? All we know is that Trump does not appear to be WYSIWYG.

And the timing of all this occurs when President of China Xi Ping has visited in person with Trump in Florida? When trade negotiations, the South China Sea islands controversy and concerns about North Korea abound? Is Trump insane? Or is there a method to his madness? More swirling haze.

As with most things on such a grand scale, focus on two drivers: follow the money and, as the Romans said, cui bono (for whose benefit)?

We can speculate about these two things ad infinitum in myriad scenarios combining various participants/alliances with all kinds of (ulterior) motives. But in the current system, banksters win no matter which side wins any war. Let’s hope it does not come to the latter.

Greg and Doggers, Plenty of folks today are dumping on the President and I tell you that my first reaction was a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach … but with some time and reflection and more input I will add this comment: O’bama played tiddly-winks while Putin played three tiered chess; I do not know if Mr. Trump plays chess but I’ll bet he plays a mean hand of poker and far be it from me to second guess him. Let us look at what we do know … the ‘official’ meme is that Assad gassed his own people (key trigger word … children). I take this with a huge bucket of salt considering the source of the info and the fact that it just does not make sense. The pictures of the Hazmat clean-up crew show people in street clothes with garden hoses hosing some kids (mannequins ??) There is word out now that 1/ The Ruskies/Syrians had fore warning of the “attack” 2/ The actual airstrip was not hit and the next day planes were using the runways to take off and land. 3/ the US was supplied with targeting info by the ruskies.
It may be a given that Syria is going to be carved-up … how many ways? … who knows but I am giving the President the benefit of the doubt that he knows more about the world scene than I do … I mean for Heavens sake, I milk a cow everyday!!
Does it bother me that GS seems entrenched in the administration?? Absolutely yes … does it bother me that the son in law seems way left of center with undo influence with the President ?? Yes, absolutely Am going to continue to give Mr. Trump the benefit of the doubt … Yes, Absolutely … until such time as I know in my Spirit that he has proved himself beyond any doubt that he is a Benedict Arnold.
Remember the Gates of Vienna, the CIA may have created ISIS but they did not write the co-ran … if one mocks my Faith in Jesus I will turn the other cheek and Pray for their Salvation … if one mocks the creator of the fascist ideology or the ideology itself one risks life; limb; health … physical mutilation. Anything wrong with this picture ??

      You just don’t know this but the official story does not add up and anybody who questions it is some sore of crazy person.     Greg;
I read fairly closely the comments and ecpecially liked Jerry’s second comment and JustinOberrver’s long epistle nad your feedback. I never researched enough to figure out who the villian was in the WACO incident but I believe JO is onto it. The thing is I always figured it was some weasel in DOJ at a lower level. Here is Gorsuch the immediate sub to poor Reno. Kushner had better watch out just like Justin says because Gorsuch is one messed up human being. You might recall I told you my FBI buds in those days up until the OK bombing stayed away from a certain Federal Bldg all they could and were the most distant anytime there was an alarm. Of course I always went a step further after watching them. But my point is Trump knows he is surrounded by crocodiles and he has a tight rope to walk with the (petro)dollar, reserve currency , our bankrupt situation, dealing with an unruly world, traitors in the intelligence, rotten trade deals, globalist murdering hacks, dealing with back stabbing democrats and rinos, and limiting how much he has to screw over his base. And I did not name and tag all the countries in that morass. He is doing all he can and we are getting results. He still deserves our support while he weaves through the croc infested swamp trying to drain every little pocket he can. He will cumulatively get much more done than anyone else. As for Hitlery, no way, that witch was going to do anything but start WWIII. We are not there yet!

      Mohammad

    • Wayne

      Greg…

Perhaps I missed it, but I do not see listed my reply that I believe you are referring to, which concerns Zionism and Jews. It was simply that all Jews are not Zionists and all Zionists are not Jews. In the same vein that those like the Bushes are Zionists but not Jews, I brought up the fact that many non-Zionist Jews in Israel (and many younger Jews in America) are protesting against the Israeli government’s actions against the Palestinians.

Your comment supports my point: do not use an umbrella category, that no one group is so homogeneous as to be either all saints or all sinners. This includes Palestinians, many of whom I’m sure wish harm to Jews and Israel.

As for the translations into English of various Arab or Middle Eastern leaders’ statements, intent and meaning have often been (hugely) misinterpreted. A statement declared as “official” that “all Jews will be wiped from the face of the Earth” was instead much closer in meaning to “history will show that Israel will have faded from the map.” There is a big active-passive difference here. Who’s doing the “official” interpretation? And from it, cui bono?

  84. JMiller

    Sir,

Trump was not brought in to be the scapegoat. All the evidences supports the fact that the Globalist Elites wanted Hillary in there. True, Trump really did not want to be President (who really would with the mess that was caused by the previous administrations) but took the job only because someone had to try to stop these evil people and hopefully save the U.S. from further destruction.

  85. Dee Garmon

With friends like MSM, Hillary, McCain and Graham, Trump certainly needs no enemies.
Resignation needs not to be a European phenomenon, if he could not withstand the deep state, he should just have resigned instead of killing the innocent.

RE; ‘Their basic goal (and this is official) is to wipe out all the Jews.’

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t God’s offical plan to wipe out all the Jews, too?

Paul mentioned how that was on them,… or so I’ve read.

    • Greg Hunter

      Helot,
Absolutely NOT. Israel, according to the Bible, “will have an everlasting name.” The Jews are God the Father’s chosen people.
      Greg

  87. helot

    Even on UWD, we’re surrounded by psychopaths who hate their enemies and love death, contrary to the words of our Lord who says to Love Your Enemies. These are, unfortunately, common sentiments of those who are lost, and seemingly of the majority of so-called American Christians, I hope they find where they went wrong when they became Imperial christians, a.k.a. cheerleaders for empire, lovers of self [they do identify with the state as no different from themselves];

‘As for the policy of the U.S. striking the field when the U.S. itself was not threatened, I’m okay with that.’

‘Had Trump dumped 60 Tomahawks on Raqqa, Syria… I would have popped the cork on good champagne.’

‘Ron Paul can say what he likes, but I say bring it on. I always wanted to see us punch these brown shirt Commie bastards in the face and its about time. Stand up America ! We don’t lay down for nobody. Middle finger to Putin.’

    The people who wrote the above could read the Bible to see where they go wrong and how they are helping to wipe out the churches Paul built in Syria, but they’d probably respond by saying this;

    ‘Too long, didn’t read…’

Anyway, for those who say, ‘I thought we were all done with this sort of madness;, oh boy, this is only page one.
