Trump Will Face War & Depression – Charles Nenner

In October, renowned geopolitical and financial cycle expert Charles Nenner warned of a huge war cycle. Now, with the EU getting ready to fight a war with Russia, Nenner has a new warning in the economy, and President Trump will be forced to deal with both war and a big depression in the not-so-distant future. Let’s start with war. Nenner explains, “I think all the war cycles are pointing up, and we are getting into big trouble. You mention Ukraine, but I would say the situation in the Middle East is as bad and dangerous as it is in Ukraine. In Ukraine, there is a solution, and that is Ukraine is not going to be part of NATO and Russia is going to keep a little bit of the land. I am from Amsterdam, and we don’t have any army anymore, but now they want to make it official that everybody has to go back into the army. It’s like they are forcing a third world war. These people have no clue what they are doing. This will cost billions and billions of dollars. I talk to people who have their children in kindergarten, and now it is not subsidized anymore because the money is going to go to Ukraine.”
German bonds are now under stress and reportedly “melting down.” What is going on there? Nenner says, “German Bunds went down because the (EU) countries need money. This is also going to be an economic catastrophe as the economy is going to slow down. I hear they want to change into what they call a war-time economy. I don’t know exactly what this means. This is all for nothing. All this money has been destroyed. For the Americans, I am not sure, but we are talking about $500 billion now has been destroyed. . . What Zelensky does is say if we don’t stop them, Russia is going to take over Europe. I absolutely think that is totally ridiculous. . . . My long-term cycles look the same as in 1928 and 1929. They all come together, and we are in for a very bad situation. So, it could be a depression. . . . Yes, we are headed for a depression because the yearly income cycles are the same as just before the crash of 1929. In 1928 and 1927, there were already big down moves, and then they came back until the whole thing collapsed in 1929.
Recently, Nenner was shorting home builders and made 40% on the move down. Nenner is still long-term bullish on gold, and he likes silver too, but you have to be ready to be patient with silver. Nenner says the dollar is not going to crash anytime soon, although it has sold off in the last few weeks. The US dollar will stay strong for the foreseeable future. Nenner thinks a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve “is a crazy idea,” and people should concentrate on tangible investments like gold or paying off your house. On the interest rate front, Nenner predicted we hit bottom when the 10-Year Treasury was around 1%. He said interest rates would be going up. He was right, and now the 10-Year is above 4%. That is a big move. Eventually, Nenner says rates will, once again, be going back to double digits and says, “We will eventually get back to 16%.” Don’t worry, Nenner says that’s going to take a while.

I believe the administration is losing ground and it is going too soft. Which, in my opinion will be its downfall, once again. Probably what happens is a Crack-up Boom resulting in acute economic pain. Throw in some 25% tariffs and we got some real bad trouble I’m all for ending even more government spending than DOGE is doing. I say get out that chainsaw and go to work. I’m all for ending ALL trade with our enemy China. But, frankly, I’m ready for a “Depression” just like Charles Nenner’s models are predicting. Charles says he doesn’t know exactly why Depression happens, but I can see some obvious reasons why, how and what catalyst(s) are now igniting an economic conflagration.
Regarding war cycles. Indeed. I agree with Charles Nenner that “President Trump can’t go against the cycle”. Look. We got an Israeli war cycle. Euroland war cycle. China, North Korea and Taiwan war cycle, and let’s not forget the American civil war cycle. I don’t know about you, but I want a divorce from the Dirty Woke Democrats and anybody who is like them. If I had my way Socialist Security Insurance (which is nothing less than an FDR Marxist program) would be totally ended. I’d cut 98% of ALL Federal Government programs leaving only enough military to defend the country. And even then I’d make the 2% tax totally voluntary.
But what would that do to the Americans who have become dependent upon Marxism? Should they, too, suffer just like government employees who are now getting fired? Yes, cold turkey should force the money from the stock market to the bond market, which should hopefully correct the inverted yield curve. If that work, Warren Buffet will buy low again with the money he has been sitting on in short term Treasury. If that doesn’t work, there will be massive money printing again which will likely rock the global financial market.
If the world decided to save the U.S. markets again by buying our debts (long term Treasuries), Trump just bought the dollar more time to kick the fiat can further down the road.
If the world decided not to buy the Treasury bonds no matter what, Trump likely will audit the gold reserve and then revaluate the price of gold mark to market – he would probably guarantee $3,000/oz as the baseline.
Having Bitcoin as a strategic reserve in conjunction with the issuance of the $5M Gold Card will facilitate filthy rich oligarchies from Ukraine, China and Russia to bring (launder) dollar back from foreign lands.
Trump is not a politician and folks need to be reminded of that fact. Yet (In Terms of Price) the LBMA has market prices set so that it takes 90 oz of Silver for every 1 oz of Gold!! Logically (in Terms of a Very Simple Supply and Demand Analysis) Silver should be selling for $1,000 US Dollars per ounce!!!

Central banks own most of the gold bullion and they are known to manipulate the price of gold (down) a lot on occasion. Of course, in a perfect world, nobody SHOULD ever manipulate gold or silver, but obviously, it does happen every now and then.

Banks have listed on their balance sheets “gold revaluation account”. Gold will absolutely be revalued, probably within a year. When that happens the average person will feel priced out of gold. Nenner is right. You have to be an active investor. I’ve spent the past year learning to trade options and that has slowly become very profitable for me. It’s not easy -you have to really understand charts, markets, options pricing, exit strategies, and risk management. But I am now doing very well, in any market. The daily income matches or exceeds my pre-tax corporate salary. Profits can be converted to hard assets like gold. I will not be a buy and hold investor in this market.

Nenner echoes many of the same forecasts as Martin A. Armstrong for Europe, principally, War & Depression (however defined), in this interview, as 1929-onward. Probably just a 3-4 year economic contraction ( recession?) for US….Charles is correct, as time progresses, public and investor sentiment will turn increasingly negative. As I recall, indications of increasing public displeasure, unrest, and potential “peaceful” protests by the Leftist organizers in large Democrat-run Blue cities, as well.
Expect more enforcement actions by DOJ & SEC and more financial and personal scandals to arise (come out of the woodwork). Remember, the Bernie Madoff Ponzi scandal did not come to light until after the stock market was already in correction mode, as it is today. Corrections are often the time some more Corporate skeletons are apt. to be unearthed, as well. Economic down-cycles and bad news are at least loosely correlated.
So, the general public will be in a sour mood overall and quite inclined to complain about most anything or anybody (esp. Trump). As investors become more concerned, sic. fearful about their money (IRA’s) they are going to head for safety (cash, gold, short term treasuries or funds) .
As Nenner also said, the more speculative issues such as bitcoins and high priced tech stocks (“Mag 7”) may be more likely to decline for the time being (short term). It bothered me a little bit that Nenner is apparently thinking more like a trader rather than an investor.
Fact is, stock indexes have a 90% probability of being higher in ten years than they are today, as markets tend to go up over the long term. So, if you buy anything today, absent a collapse, it will more valuable in 7-10 years. Historically, there are no recorded losses in rolling 20-year periods beginning in 1916-Present either.
So, Nenner’s newsletters are oriented towards short-term or perhaps intermediate term traders. Investors can buy and hold the stalwarts such as Costco, WalMart, or Apple and not worry too much about all the up and down cycles in-between now and 2034.
The way the world is going, by 2035 or even before, a WWIII means investments would be the least of our personal concerns except just surviving and staying alive. Bill O’Reilly said a World War between the U.S. and China or Russia would ruin the entire global economy. Not sure about China, as it might be relatively safer over there than over here if we receive the first Nuke.
Nenner said investors large and small may also become unwilling to buy high P/E stocks such as the NASDAQ 100, or at least pay less for each dollar of earnings in the future. ( This implies a flat market or a bear market at some future point, yet undetermined.). In-addition, P/E multiples may be expected to contract somewhat and stocks that miss earnings forecasts will be immediately beat-up by the sellers and shorts. Investors are now unwilling to extend the benefit of the doubt to anyone. actually.
War time economy is when you switch manufacturing to create weapons of war. The cash inflow comes from debt passed on to the people in the form of highre taxation.
The US is a basically a war economy. The only thing that is true made in the US are weapons; the rest is outsourced overseas to be made on the cheap.
That turned the US in an Consumer Economy, while the rest are Mercantile Economies.
China is learning and I see their trend in becoming a Consumer Economy and use cheap good and services outside of China.
Europe is Mercantile and if nobody buys their products they are fucked, so their way out is a war and start building weapons to sell.
However, what I see is that Europe has a really bad strategic disadvantage, Russia is next door, they can just walk right in. The US has two oceans that are a major geographical barrier.
So… It is best for the US let Europe start their shit and sell our weapons to them without getting in their mess; just like we did in WW1&2, towards the end, get in to offer support and rebuild with US issued loans (post WW2 Marshall Plan).
Ask yourself, who benefits in any war, who created and own the banks; follow the $$ and find out, do not turn a blind eye to the facts 😉

I had to interview my aunt for my history class when I was a kid about the depression. She lived on a farm with her 10 brothers and sisters(my dad had not been born yet). She stated they did not even realize there was a depression going on at the time. At that time a lot of people lived on farms. If you can produce your own food, you become insulated from a lot of things. The people now a days are a lot different. The cities will be a challenge. Just keep growing your own food as much as you can and trust in the LORD, he will take care of you and your family!

There are rumors of him being arrested, but I can’t find any confirmation of that. His channel went dormant for a number of years and then disappeared. His Facebook account still exists, but it hasn’t been updated since 2016. I think of Fabian when the Dow hits outrageous highs, Fabian said that the crash wouldn’t come until the Dow reached 20,000, at the time it was outrageous to even think that the Dow could go to 20,000. This tells me the market is seeing higher future inflation ( perhaps in a year or so). In-addition, I do believe we are in a global economic contraction for a few years, with minimal overall economic growth, as well.
