Financial writer, market analyst and precious metals expert Craig Hemke predicted at the beginning of 2025 that the US dollar would have a “vast devaluation.”  One look at the explosive record setting gold and silver price gains and you can see this was a correct prediction, especially with the yellow metal.  Hemke says, “It’s not that the gold is going up.  The gold is not changing.  Gold is gold.  What is changing is the amount of dollars it takes to buy that ounce.  The dollar is devaluing against gold.  That’s how people need to look at it.  Gold is your financial protection against this madness where we are just going to keep printing more and more dollars trying to service this incredible debt.  We are recording this on the last day of the fiscal year.  The US is going to run a $2 trillion deficit over the fiscal year.  It’s only getting worse, and the dollars it takes to service that debt is growing.  You just have incredible devaluation of what your dollar can buy.  (more…)

The last time legendary financial and geopolitical cycle analyst Martin Armstrong was on USAWatchdog, he was hopeful that Trump would keep America out of the coming NATO War with Russia.  Trump was talking about not sending troops to Ukraine for any peace deal, and before that, he said he backed a Russian plan to trade land for peace in Ukraine.  Fast forward a month, and now, Trumps says, “Ukraine can win back its territory,” Russia is a “paper tiger,” and NATO countries should shoot down Russia aircraft.  What a flip-flop on foreign policy!

Former Wall Street money manager and financial analyst Ed Dowd of PhinanceTechnologies.com had a storied Wall Street career.  He got out of Enron and Lucent long before they crashed and burned.  A few of the many other more recent correct calls Dowd has made include:  interest rates topping and heading lower (they did), housing tanking and going lower (happening now), massive fraud propping up the Biden economy with illegal immigration (20 million brought in by Biden Admin) and the BLS just restated job creation numbers for 12 months ending in March.  The restatement revealed an eye popping 911,000 jobs were fake.  Dowd said just after the 2024 election that “Trump inherited a turd of an economy.”  Now, Dowd says, “Trump has to deal with a turd of a disaster.”  On the phony jobs number alone, Dowd says, “You could say this is statistical fraud or bureaucratic incompetence.  Let’s say it’s both.  It such an egregious 7 standard deviation.  3.4 standard deviation is the chance of lightning hitting you at least once in your lifetime.  It’s not likely.  7 deviation is suggestive of fraud–full stop.” (more…)

They funded literally trillions of dollars by borrowing in yen.  Now, what has happened, the Japanese yield curve has gone from basically zero to over 1.6 % on a ten-year (bond) and 3.2% on a 30-year (bond).  So, that carry trade now is being squeezed because the yen has gone higher . . . your cost to carry has gone higher because Japanese yields have gone higher.  So, the gold market is looking at the Japanese carry trade in the process of blowing up.  It is sovereign bonds across the world.  If you look at interest rates worldwide, they are actually going higher.” (more…)
