President Obama is sending 300 military advisors to Iraq.  This is the ultimate lose-lose scenario.  Remember I told you Iran was already there, and the U.S. would be helping Iran defend Iraq.  Well, it’s happening.  Obama does not want to attack the ISIS or ISIL forces that have come down from Syria, and he does not want the Iranians to defend Iraq and gain influence.  The Obama Administration has armed the Syrian rebels that are in part al-Qaeda related.  If he starts bombing them, the campaign to oust Assad in Syria will be over.  (It probably already is over.)  If he helps the government in Iraq, he will in turn be helping the Iranians.  This comes down to a coming civil war between the Sunni and Shiite Muslims.  The United States has armed them both and is going to get caught in the middle.  When, and not if, there is war, oil prices are going to explode.  This is going to be a global economy killer

Meanwhile, the Russians are massing forces on the Ukraine border according to NATO.  Heavy fighting is reported in Eastern Ukraine between Kiev government forces and pro-Russian separatists.  It is also reported a military convoy stretching 10 miles is on the road between Moscow and Ukraine.  On top of that, an Eastern Ukraine gas pipeline blew up this week.  Maybe it’s was blown up because Russia cut off their natural gas and demands payment up front from now on.  Who knows, but this is not moving the country closer to peace.  One Russian official was quoted as saying it was “moving closer towards a serious conflict.”

A top Russian economic advisor to Putin is pushing to crash the dollar system as a way to stop the Ukraine civil war that Russia says was started by Washington.  The Russians are worried about a third phase of sanctions that could end up hurting Russia and the EU.  Meanwhile, it was announced this week the UK and China will begin trading in their own currencies.  It is direct trade with yuan pound sterling.  Please note they will not use the dollar.  I hear nails being hammered in the dollar coffin, and I wonder when the dollar abandonment will reach critical mass.  It is coming, but I don’t know when.

The IRS claims it lost two years of emails from a key figure in the IRS targeting scandal.  Lois Lerner’s emails are gone along with other emails of people who have been accused of illegally targeting conservative groups.  This is a juvenile and idiotic claim because emails are always backed up on multiple servers.  The government is required by law to back them up.   The main stream media (MSM) has given very little attention to this story even though this a major 1st Amendment violation they should be all over.  If there was not a “smidgeon of corruption” as the President claims, then why not produce the emails?  The Wall Street Journal says this is worse than Watergate.  President Nixon lost less than 20 minutes of audio tape.  The IRS lost two years of data?  If this is not a cover-up, I don’t know what is.  This is simply outrageous.

Illegal immigrant children are flooding across the U.S. Mexican border.  Infowars.com is reporting that DHS will be helping escort undocumented immigrant children into the United States.  Meanwhile, Texas Governor Rick Perry is beefing up security to combat the flood if illegals trying to cross the border.  Governor Perry said, “Texas can’t afford to wait for Washington to act on this crisis.”   Perry said that “safety and security” in Texas is “threatened.”  Last week, former border patrol agents said they thought the crisis was being orchestrated.

Finally, Fed head Janet Yellen spoke this week and said that monetary policy would remain “highly accommodative.”  She said this phrase multiple times.  Greg Mannarino’s take on what she said is that she promised to do whatever it takes to continue to hyper-distort the market.  Gold was up more than $40 in one day.  I think that says a lot.

Emails are never lost. The Provider or Server has them….

I feel bad for any country that our ‘country’ interferes or intervenes with. We are no longer the Leaders of the Free World….it is almost very embarrassing what type of Leadership our USA country is doing these days….

Gas, food, and other items will Sky-Rocket.

For Farmers, get ready for hyper-inflation of land, tractors, fuel, fertilizers, trucking; while at same time depressed commodity prices because the common folk cannot afford them. I see depressions ahead. Times are going to change fast. They will be of Biblical proportions….

    • Greg Hunter

I agree Ugly and this IS far worse than Watergate. The break-in at the DNC was juvenile compared to this.

      Greg

      • Ugly

        Greg,
The only crime at Watergate was that We-the-People never got to hear what was in the tapes at the DNC. I think Nixon had good reasons to spy on the DNC. Look at what the DNC is doing to us….

        We owe Nixon an apology….

        • Dan

          “We owe Nixon an apology”
Sorry, but that’s the dumbest comment EVER!

          • Ugly

            Dan.
Compared to today’s era of Leaders, we can label Nixon as a ‘Pencil Thief’. Thus, we owe him an apology for his forced resignation by fickleness and two-faced Americans.

You are in that same category that blames Reagan for the deficit, but then by-passes Carter’s era of 15% unemployment, 22% interest rates, oil embargoes, grain embargoes, grain dumplings in oceans, hostages, Olympic embargoes, and so forth.

In two years Reagan turned it around. Thus, we were better then than the previous four years. Now days, we are far, far, far worse off than just 6 years ago. Enjoy your $5 gas and $8 gallon milk.

Hopefully, we will turn things for the better. Better for USA and for our world’s citizens….

        • Dan

          Nixon was a crook & a liar!

Last time I filled up with petrol it was $2.26 per litre.
We don’t use the ‘Queens’ imperial system down here – we moved on to metrics.
          Here is the maths;
          Petrol $2.26/litre x 3.78 [3.78 litre per US gallon] = $8.54
          $8.54 x exchange rate[nz$ .87 to $US] = $7.43US

          • Greg Hunter

            Colin,
I think this is where the U.S. is heading as far as price. Right now it’s between $3.50 and $4.00 a gallon (give or take a cents).

      YOU it right, 250/barrel or more;

      KingWorldNews:
Today a legendary trader and investor warned King World News that the world is in danger of seeing the oil price soar to $250. He also warned this will crash the world economy and collapse confidence in the financial system and currencies. Victor Sperandeo has been in the business 45 years, and has worked with famous individuals such as Leon Cooperman and George Soros. Another legend, hedge fund manager Paul Tudor Jones, said, “Victor Sperandeo is gifted with one of the finest minds I know. No wonder he’s compiled such an amazing record of success as a money manager.” Below are the dire warnings issued by Sperandeo.

Sperandeo: “If you want to completely destabilize the Middle East, you try to destroy Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is the richest country in the Middle East and they take care of their people. So when ISIS takes control of Iraq, you are going to have what the U.S. would describe as terrorists on the border of Saudi Arabia.”

I don’t quite understand why our oil prices should shoot through the roof when there is an oil embargo against Iran. We also convinced Europe to do the same which reduced Iran’s oil exports by 1/2. http://www.businessweek.com/news/2014-06-12/growing-iran-oil-exports-challenge-u-dot-s-dot-nuclear-sanctions. So if our markets are not dependent on Iranian oil, why the price jump???

However; regarding simple matters ALL DATA CAN BE RETRIEVED from any HARDRIVE/RAID DRIVE whatever, even damaged/trashed not-working the internal plates still hold data and can be retrieved. Data retrieval is not a miracle science

remember guys, Jim protects his contacts like his “source” and the guys from Euro-Rajh, and dozens more from the govmnt. as they are still highly placed, which ensures a steady stream of fresh info.

    Global Money Report, HT
“The United States has routinely called it nation building, but the war is better described as subservient to the grand crime syndicate. They can be assured of many accomplishments for their many business partners. Consider the huge service contracts to Halliburton and Blackwater for meals, fuel supply, village raids, road explosive dismantles, even helicopter side shows in civilian murder contests. Consider the huge arms contracts to the usual gang of military hardware producers led by McDonnell Douglas and Boeing.

Bear in mind the chemical weapons and biological weapons were cleaned up back in 2003. Do not believe the various expert accounts of nothing found, since the Jackass met an ex-Halliburton contractor in Costa Rica who was part of cleanup of Bush items. They found ten warehouses full of chem/bio weapons, all with ‘Made in USA’ markings, sold by the Bush I Admin. One must realize that Bush and Rumsfeld were Saddam’s suppliers and cohorts for the chemical weapons used against Iran in their long border war in the 1980 decade. Saddam also used US-made chemicals on the Kurds on the Turkish border on multiple incidents. See the News Doctor article with photo (CLICK HERE). One million lives were flushed during the entire project versus Iran, with another million lives flushed in Iraq during the awkward US annexation that followed, later abandoned. Also, the Big Pharm team conducted scattered vaccination experiments on soldier logs, a term used for unwilling victim considered of no value. The USArmy vaccine experiments (well documented by a nurse whistle blower) during the 1990 Kuwait War resulted in the Gulf War Syndrome, since the vaccines were laced with toxins. Many symptoms were blamed on the destroyed oil fields, as Saddam tossed many chemical weapons into the holes before detonations were done. ” JW Hat Trick Letter

    Thanks Greg

On the IRS, can I say that the TWO WAY power of taxation should be understood. In ancient times, out-right slavery was replaced with the practice of “tithing” or “the taking of first fruits”. But throughout history, Governments have over-reached until the people revolted causing a reset. In simple terms, think of the movie “Ants” wherein the ants (that’s you and me) were forced to collect food for the parasitic grass-hoppers (that’s our Government and their mates). In that movie, the final refusal to pay tax resulted in a war, which (we the people) won because ultimately it is the (Government) who are dependent on us. If you have no idea what I’m talking about – rent the move!

The point is that taxation revolts have previously been used successfully to bring down hundreds of tyrannical Governments and indeed whole Empires, such as the Aztec, Egyptian and Roman. Other historic events that originated as tax revolts include the Magna Carta, the American Revolution and the French Revolution. The full history is extensive, but a short summary (running for many pages) can be found here:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_tax_resistance

The important questions (before starting a tax revolt) have always been:
    – Is the over-all level of taxation appropriate?
    – Does the law allow the rich and powerful to hide from taxation?
    – Is taxpayer money used to bail-out the mistakes of the elite?
    – Does the Government waste the tax it collects?
    – Is the Government taking the country in the right direction?
    – Does the taxpayer have other means to change Government direction?

So if you want a (quick) reset of your system, simply start “Occupy the IRS” and refuse (en mass) to pay your taxes. You will have the tyrants on their knees and begging for forgiveness in no time! AND your next Government will be representative of “we the people” rather than of tax-free lobby groups!

    • Charles H.

      Fraser,

You make a good point; but over-simplify at the same time. If they can print money at will – can they not supply their minions while they lock-up non-payers? Following your suggestion, only a portion of Americans with conscientious objections will be made an object lesson of, locked up, and the rest will be tamed. What do you do about the Patriot Act?; all the presidential Executive Directives?? All anybody has to do is term tax-evaders as “soft” homeland terrorists. Simple solutions do not conduce to resolve complex problems.

      • Fraser

Racking over history, when Governments get to the point whereby they are above the law / Constitution and voting no longer works, there are only two alternatives – violence (which I am against) and a tax revolt (which I think the American public would be very good at – because it involves NOT doing something)!

For the weak-hearted, crimeless tax revolts can be done in a number of ways:
[1] Citizens and companies can state that they are unhappy with the direction of the Federal Government and that they are considering a tax revolt, with meetings to be held in consultation with State and local Government to consider the options available etc, etc…
[2] Citizens and companies actually declare their INTENT to either stage a tax revolt and /or move off-shore (as Apple and so many others have already done), BUT at the same time give public reasons for the move (Government direction, Obamacare, no more war, etc).
[3] NON-taxpayers gather and protest and declare that they will not pay their taxes. Media coverage of this event will be enough to scare the Government, who can do nothing because they are non-taxpayers.
[4] Taxpayers state that they will not pay their NEXT tax, which in itself is not a crime but sends an equally strong message.
[5] Petititions are signed stating the “Taxpayers Demands” which, if not met, may result in a tax-revolt.
[6] Use your own imagination – there are many other ways to create a Government panic without actually commiting a crime. Remember, the Government have built a weapons arsenal to fight an armed revolt, but they have no weapons against a peaceful revolt. And with-holding taxation is the peaceful citizen’s most powerful weapon!

At some stage, some taxpayers might actually choose to stop paying tax. In which case, the outcome will be just like that of any other strike action. If enough workers go on strike and show determination, then they will win – otherwise they will lose. The key is get the right organizer who can build the solidarity required.

      • Fraser

I agree that the Government can print money at will. But this also means that taxation is unnecessary. In fact, (I believe that) income tax was only introducted after the creation of the Federal Reserve system. Which means that tax is really just an invention of the criminal bankers to create poverty and debt and thereby create customers.

      • Fraser

Finally, I note an interesting thing – although I don’t want (or need) to use it as an argument for my case. If you look at the reference given above – it appears that Jesus himself may have started one of the first organized tax revolts :

        Jewish Zealots, 1st century A.D.
        See also: Render unto Caesar…
In the 1st century AD, Jewish Zealots in Judaea resisted the poll tax instituted by the Roman Empire.[3] Jesus was accused of promoting tax resistance prior to his torture and execution (“We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Cæsar, saying that he himself is Christ a King” — Luke 23:2).

Which (if true), suggests that peaceful tax resistance is a legitimate form of protest against Government tyranny. But I am no scholar of the subject, so please don’t shout – I just thoought it was interesting.

      • Fraser

Sorry to continue and take up valuable space, but I have found a reference that expresses by thoughts:

        Mexican-American War, 1846
Perhaps the most famous American example of a tax resister, Henry David Thoreau, was briefly jailed in 1846 for refusing to pay taxes in protest against the Fugitive Slave Act and the Mexican–American War.

In his essay on civil disobedience, he wrote:
…If a thousand men were not to pay their tax bills this year, that would not be a violent and bloody measure, as it would be to pay them, and enable the State to commit violence and shed innocent blood. This is, in fact, the definition of a peaceable revolution, if any such is possible.

Thanks – because I would like to add that the critical thing is not the withdrawal of money – but the withdrawal (by the public) of the legitimacy of the Government. And it is that which makes them panic and reform.

Dude I am very much with you on this one.
Is our perspective ‘down here’ a bit different or what?
We will solve nothing by only ever banging on about what is broke. It is high time we became constructive in our criticism and actually offer up some ideas and models that could be used in facilitating and implementing change.
As contributors and followers on this site I think we need to encourage and debate new initiatives that are put forward.
We never know but the status quo system could be gone tomorrow, thats how precarious it is. We don’t want to be in a position where the new system is a cross between a big black hole and flat out anarchy.

        • Charles H.

          Fraser,

You “think” you are going to panic the government? I don’t think so.
To just stop paying tax is – “just like that of any other strike action.” No, this is painting in too broad of strokes. Tell the Air Traffic Controllers that lost their livelihood when then went against President Reagan.
Taxation may be tied to the FED and all the following corruption – but it also paved the way to fund the Industrial Revolution’s improvements like constructing roads for automobiles; not to mention WWI and WWII. Didn’t Lincoln tax during the Civil War?
And you infer that “Jesus himself may have started on of the first organized tax revolts”?!???! At this point you completely lose me. This is WAY over-the top. The reference of St. Luke 23:2 specifies an accusation made by men who were LYING in their accusation: there was no foundation to this accusation. If you read further Pilot says: “I find no fault in this man.” Jesus, the Christ – is God. You therefore bring God into the picture to support tax revolts? No, Sir Your zealousness toward this cause is allowing you to twist even Holy Scripture around. And the rule for Scripture is that it does not contradict itself. Jesus Christ Himself TAUGHT, from His own mouth, in His answer to the Herodians (followers of King Herod) Using “tribute money”, a “penny” – (Matt. 22:15-22.) He said:” Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things which are God’s.” You voluntarily use money with the government’s inscription on it, instead of bartering. Don’t beef about rendering unto the government the things which are the government’s.
Finally, you mention that H. D. Thoreau – “was briefly jailed in 1846 for refusing to pay taxes.” So they DO put people in jail for a protest “like any other strike action”. That was then, before the IRS became an agency of persecution. Remember Wesley Snipes? He went to jail in Central Florida for a number of years for tax evasion. And they have closed-down Creationist’s Museums and jailed husband and wife even though they agreed to pay the exorbitant penalties.
A missionary friend, now gone, was opposed by the local parish priest, who slandered and stirred up the people a ways down the street from the home and missionary compound. As the priest walked and raised his voice against the “Gringo” who was condemning to Hell all the souls he might convert: the people increased to a crowd, and then an angry mob. But before arriving at the compound – the priest faded back through the crowd, and lodged, half-hidden in a doorway – to not be involved, but to see how this mob would do violence to the American missionaries. I wonder if you follow this same pattern? Stirring people up and sending them off to a bad confrontation?!?? Only Tax Protesters won’t be outnumbering the intended target. The government will throw-down very hard on those who oppose them under taxation issues. Stir ’em up: let ’em go? There are an hundred ways to start filling the Fema Camps: and this, however intended, could be a good one.

          • Fraser

            Gosh, great rant Charles!

But a couple of days ago this site attacked me for criticising without providing a solution. So I took that on board and worked hard and today I provide you with the only peaceful solution that has worked over the last 2,000 years. And still you are not happy!

So I give up, do what you like – I really don’t care! But I’ll tell you one thing mate – and this is an rock solid promise – if your Government touches one hair on any of my children’s heads, then I will come after YOU!

You sit there whinging about the crimes of your Government, quoting this passage from the Bible and that, but when push comes to shove you actually won’t DO anything !

I am also sorry Charles, I know that you are allowed to quote passages from the Bible, but no one else is. But I did clearly state that it was a point of interest only and I did state that I was not relying on it to form my argument. In any case, please delete the reference Greg – religion has no place in this discussion.

Charles, Fras, Al and the Gregster, Mark 12:13 Next they sent to him some of the Pharisees and of the party followers of Herod in order to catch him in his speech. On arriving, these said to him: “Teacher, we know you are truthful and you do not seek anyone’s favor, for you do not look at the outward appearance of people, but you teach the way of God in line with truth. Is it lawful to pay head tax to Caesar or not? 15 Should we pay, or should we not pay?” Detecting their hypocrisy, he said to them: “Why do you put me to the test? Bring me a de·nar′i·us to look at.” 16 They brought one, and he said to them: “Whose image and inscription is this?” They said to him: “Caesar’s.” 17 Jesus then said: “Pay back Caesar’s things to Caesar, but God’s things to God.” And they were amazed at him.
There you are my fiends, from the horse’s mouth, Jesus, the Christ, the son of God!

I’m only speculating here,is there not a world court that will hold us accountable for the far to many wars we are fighting in. Wasn’t Germany held accountable for the crimes they committed after WWII was over. Once our dollar is no more and once we can’t fuel our army’s, then it’s only time before the rest of the rug is pulled from under this nation’s feet. Let’s take those 300 advisers and send them to the US borders, to support our border patrol agents who desperately need help. We’re pretty good at sending our military into just about every country, but for some reason they refuse to protect our borders. Love my country. Proud to support our military. Don’t give a tinker’s Dam about the politicians who can’t follow the constitution, and who send our military into situation’s we do not belong in the first place. They spend our tax dollars like it was their own money . They have not given us a budget and they have put us into more debt then we can ever repay. If we get to an election in November (and in my opinion, that may not happen with this crowd in office) ,PINK slips to every Yahoo in Washington. Before signing off, I was just trying to remember Watergate and President Nixon resigning. I was a senior in High school. Tell me again, “He did what” to be forced to resign from office. Under pressure from the American press and the citizens of this country, he resigns from Office. We now have a Administration that is destroying America from within, and no one is standing up to defend our constitution or the rights of her citizens. Seems to me, we all know where this is leading us…..Thanks for letting me exercise my constitutional rights, before an executive order tells me other wise. Be prepared for what’s to come. Not a single ray of sunshine do we see.
The USA goes to the middle east and makes a complete mess of it.
Then we go to the Ukraine and make a mess of that too.
The reason is unlike a war where there is planning this is not what we have here.
These people are haphazardly doing what one person or another wants to do.
Seemed like a good idea at the time sort of thing.

Guess it was like George Soros said: It’s so much fun.

But as time goes by the mess we make over there will spill over to here.
Seems there was a person running for president not too long ago talking about it.
    Something called blow back.

Quite a few people were booing him and wanted him out of the debates.

So we add to this the IRS problem and Benghazi and the border problems and Fast and Furious and the health care problems and should I go on?

Lets face it we no longer have a government for the people.
What we see is nothing short of a page out of Looney Toons.

What’s that term they used back in WW2 for things that were really messed up.
    Oh yes Fubar!

Greg, I just finished listening to T. Ferguson’s interviews with Dr. Dave Janda at http://www.tfmetalsreport.com. Have you ever heard of him? He is an orthopedic surgeon and very aware of the current situation, whose insight I believe is highly relevant. He does have a website and radio show. http://www.davejanda.com. Please check into his work and if possible see if you can get him as a guest. All the very best Greg, God bless, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. I do understand if you decide not to post this in the comments section as I am not making remarks about your report on the weekly wrap, but if you listen to his interview with Turd Ferguson (1st interview May 29, 2nd interview here in June) you will see the value in what Dr. Janda shares because of the high quality and ease with which he articulates the facts related to what we are facing.

look who owns the media. i quit tuning into these news stations because it’s all lies. i got tired of listening to the bs that flowed out of the mouths of these people. then the local news is worse. some murder, usually drug related or dumb – – – going off the deep end. fire, then we move straight to whats going on in hollywood. vague stories around the world or our gov’t. the song, dirty laundry always pops into mind.
once again somebody or some part of our gov’t lies intentionally about something like the irs, throws it out there, msm won’t touch it with a 10 ft. poll. the story they give is so full of holes that you can’t even make swiss cheese with it, yet they get away without any response, except a very few people like you. but the mass is asleep. it worries me that when they do wake, it will be complete chaos. i don’t think very many see it coming. this and many other things our gov’t does is beyond belief.
the power of prayer for the innocent people of this country, our military people and those who need to go away.

      Bob,
Right on! I cancelled my DirecTv due to lies and trash. Funny how you can have over 600 channels and nothing on worth watching! I selectively peruse the internet for news. I opened an acct with Netflix and watch mostly educational stuff….and even that has been infected to some degree. There’s also a lot of good radio over the internet…I particularly like Mark Davis. He’s just soooo logical and factual….To me, Limbaugh isn’t worth the time as he does not stray far from the party line. When the wheels have fallen off, there’s no fixin” it….It has to be thrown out! If voting were not rigged and the parties were not most of the problem, I would have some hope, but that is not the case. It’s all corrupt. Trust in your preparations, gold and silver….that’s the ticket IMHO. You have to be very careful where you tread as you don’t want to end up in a FEMA “camp” under one of their guillotines, or shot with one of their armor piercing bullets by some power crazed government worker from the TSA or the P.O.!

      • Charles H.

        Calgirl,

You do not disappoint… “careful where you tread”; “Limbaugh isn’t worth the time”; and the “over 600 channels and nothing worth watching”. I understand that you are just stating straight observation: but for others – it is almost poetry. Surely voting isn’t rigged!!??!! (I’m joking.)

Calgirl and Bob, Amen. And remember that camaraderie will be priceless.

While I no longer listen to Limbaugh, he was an important step in finally ‘getting it’. Once I recognized the evil globalist ‘men behind the curtain’ and that Limbaugh, Hannity, Fox News etc. dare not tread on them, I moved forward. This whole journey can be summed up by always searching for better sources of truth. Finding Greg’s and his savvy Watchdogs has been a blessing.

It is no coincidence that :
      – US intelligence was completely “blind-sided” (by months of build up)
      – 250,000 Iraqi soldiers (trained by the US) fled before an ISIS group of 8,000
      – The terrorists “captured” all the US military assets
      – The US left the keys in those military assets
      – The terrorists knew exactly how and where to steal all the Iraqi gold and money
      – The US refuses to lift a finger to stop them
      – The US is calling for “regime change” in Iraq as a condition of help
SO – this “terrorist attack” has “made in the USA” written all over it !

    ___________Meet John Doe Tonight_______________________
    _______________ON THE AIR__________________________
    ANNOUNCER
And good evening, ladies and gentlemen.
This is Kenneth Frye, speaking for the
New Bulletin . Tonight we give you something
    entirely new and different. Standing
beside me is the young man who has declared
publicly that on Christmas Eve he intends
to commit suicide, giving as his reason—quote:
“I protest against the state of civilization.”
End quote. Ladies and gentlemen, the
New Bulletin takes pleasure in presenting
the man who is fast becoming the most
talked-of person in the whole country,
    JOHN DOE!

John Doe: Well, people like the Governor — people like the Governor — and that fella there can — can stop worrying. I’m not gonna talk about them. I’m gonna talk about us, the average guys, the John Does.

If anybody should ask you what the average John Doe is like, you couldn’t tell him because he’s a million and one things. He’s Mr. Big and Mr. Small. He’s simple and he’s wise. He’s inherently honest, but he’s got a streak of larceny in his heart. He seldom walks up to a public telephone without shoving his finger into the slot to see if somebody left a nickel there.

He’s the man the ads are written for. He’s the fella everybody sells things to. He’s Joe Doakes, the world’s greatest stooge and the world’s greatest strength.

Yes, sir — Yes, sir, we’re a great family, the John Does. We are the meek who are — who are supposed to inherit the earth. You’ll find us everywhere. We raise the crops; we dig the mines, work the factories, keep the books, fly the planes and drive the busses. And when a cop yells: “Stand back there, you!” He means us, the John Does!

We have existed since time began. We built the pyramids. We saw Christ crucified, pulled the oars for Roman emperors, sailed the boats for Columbus, retreated from Moscow with Napoleon and froze with Washington at Valley Forge.

Yes, sir. We’ve been in there dodging left hooks since before history began to walk. In our struggle for freedom we’ve hit the canvas many a time, but we always bounced back! Because we’re the people — and we’re tough.

They’ve started a lot of talk about free people going soft — that we can’t take it. That’s a lot of hooeyl A free people can beat the world at anything, from war to tiddle-de-winks, if we all pull in the same direction.

I know a lot of you are saying “What can I do? I’m just a little punk. I don’t count.” Well, you’re dead wrong! The little punks have always counted because in the long run the character of a country is the sum total of the character of its little punks.

But, we’ve all got to get in there and pitch. We can’t win the old ballgame unless we have teamwork. And that’s where every John Doe comes in. It’s up to him to get together with his teammates. And your teammate, my friend, is the guy next door to you. Your neighbor — he’s a terribly important guy that guy next door. You’re gonna need him and he’s gonna need you, so look him up. If he’s sick, call on him. If he’s hungry, feed him. If he’s out of a job, find him one.

To most of you, your neighbor is a stranger, a guy with a barkin’ dog and high fence around him. Now, you can’t be a stranger to any guy that’s on your own team. So tear down the fence that separates you. Tear down the fence and you’ll tear down a lot of hates and prejudices. Tear down all the fences in the country and you’ll really have teamwork.

I know a lot of you are saying to yourselves, “He’s askin’ for a miracle to happen. He’s expectin’ people to change all of a sudden. Well, you’re wrong. It’s no miracle. It’s no miracle because I see it happen once every year. And and so do you — at Christmas time. There’s somethin’ swell about the spirit of Christmas, to see what it does to people, all kinds of people.

Now, why can’t that spirit, that same, warm Christmas spirit last the whole year around? Gosh, if it ever did, if each and every John Doe would make that spirit last 365 days out of the year, we’d develop such strength, we’d create such a tidal wave of good will that no human force could stand against it. Yes sir, my friends, the meek can only inherit the earth when the John Doe’s start lovin’ their neighbors.

You better start right now. Don’t wait till the game is called on account of darkness.

Wake up, John Doe. You’re the hope of the world.

    Dear Greg
You’ve got it all wrong. Iraq is not a ‘lose lose’ situation it’s a big ‘Win Win’ for the military industrial complex. More profits for the arms industry. For them the chance to kill and maim thousands more is music to their ears.
Where’s is your pride in USA militarism. Got to keep dropping those bombs. It’s the American way. (Cue the Stars and Stripes music.)

    ps. the above is irony.

  13. woody188

Great wrap-up Greg. The mounting tensions and the email scandal are the biggest news this week. Some heads better roll from “losing” those emails, but if they follow their SOP, they will probably promote those people to some plush IT job in Caribbean consulate. What is telling is the corporate media hasn’t shown the backlash from the technical community and called the IRS/Executive out on to the carpet. Just more proof of the control the government exerts over the “free” media.

  14. dchayden

Greg you really summed it all up in that last few minutes !! You owe it to yourself and to your audience to do a positive news show perhaps one a month? Or perhaps a closing positive story once in a while : ) There is still a lot of good in the world Greg, and there are some good stories to cover, about good people, and good organizations fighting the good fight. If you could give them a little attention on your wonderful news cast, that would be great ! At this point, we could all use a little good news once in a while, as this negative insanity is taking a toll on us all : / Please have a good weekend…and I hope you find a way to balance all of this destructive news you cover, with constantly acknowledging all the good in your life, as it is not easy to cover all this negative news, day in and day out. Thank you for all you do sir, much respect to you !!

I just can’t take anymore negative stuff. I am ready to explode with it – I’ve had my fill. However. I do enjoy reading the comments – I do ignore and not read a few certain posters. But, I learn and enjoy most of the comments, but just can’t take anymore negative news.

    Greg,
Your ending was simple and to the point. “We have to have the most idiotic and dumbest leaders in the history of leadership.” I love it and it is a brilliant summary of our situation reduced to a few words.
However, one has to sit back and ponder how stupid and dumb the American populace is for continually electing these toxic fools.
Perhaps this happened because we lost the news media. Oh how I yearn for the real news media that ended sometime ago in 1970. I still remember the words. “Goodnight Chet… Good night David” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYf3eyRjfYA

Greg, critical mass for the dollar will come on July 15th according to my source. The United States has clearly reached a checkmate scenario, with Ukraine and Iraq. I have no doubt that ISIS was directed by the Saudi’s to invade Iraq to draw the United States into a trap, in preparation for the end of the Petro dollar. My sources have said that the Saudis have reached an agreement with the Chinese and the Russians behind closed doors, to supply oil to them using the new gold backed Yuan system.

O.K. listen up, because this is important. My sources have said that they have received information that Silver prices will do a moon shot following the events transpiring on July 15th. What events you say? Several lines diverging at the same time to an unprecedented event.
    1. ) War between Russia and NATO
2.) Loss of the Petro Dollar
    3.) Second Quarter GDP report
This is it. Economic musical chairs. Pick yours while you still can. My advice for those paying attention. By some Silver along with food supplies.

Aside from re-invading, it seems we [the US] are seeking to do a regime change in Iraq. Again. Obama and McCain agree that “al-Maliki has to go.” [Never mind that we engineered his “election”; we engineered Saddam Hussain obtaining control of Iraq all those years ago, and you see where that got him. In the end, I mean.] Oh, and Obama has just said we may need to bomb Syria along the way. Gotta break a few eggs and all that. It’s all about oil, and the corporate cabals that run the US now don’t care if oil prices go up. It’s all more profit for them; what do they care where the coin comes from? As to the Sauds, who remain one of our best “friends” despite the fact that most of the 9/11 hijackers came from there: I would venture that all this turmoil suits the House of Saud just fine; keeps the Iraqi oil off the market for awhile, and they are also well aware that the ISIS terrorists are handled and armed by the US and thus no real threat to them. That we are instigating, aiding and abetting terrorism all over the place, killing people everywhere and messing with cultures we mostly don’t understand is irrelevant to our so-called leaders.

And who has reared his ugly head as one of our favorites to replace al Maliki if we can manipulate this out-of-control situation that far?

Ahmad Chalabi. Perfect. The guy knows how to play both sides against the fence and would fit right in with the Obama administration as well as he did with the Bush.

“[…] Over the past two days the American ambassador, Robert S. Beecroft, along with Brett McGurk, the senior State Department official on Iraq and Iran, have met with Usama Nujaifi, the leader of the largest Sunni contingent, United For Reform, and with Ahmad Chalabi, one of the several potential Shiite candidates for prime minister, according to people close to each of those factions, as well as other political figures.
“ ‘Brett and the ambassador met with Mr. Nujaifi yesterday and they were open about this, they do not want Maliki to stay,’ Nabil al-Khashab, the senior political adviser to Mr. Nujaifi, said Thursday. […]”
    http://www.nytimes.com/2014/06

In case you don’t remember that name, here’s a brief summary of Chalabi, who was important to the Bush administration in drumming up support for the invasion of Iraq in ’03 and was installed in Baghdad in charge of the “deBaathification” process after Hussain was hanged (and was put in charge of repairing Iraq’s infrastructure in ’07, although he quickly betrayed Maliki and the US by siding with al-Sadr and so was removed from his position in the Iraqi government): http://www.huffingtonpost.com/barry-l...

I suppose Lando, who wrote the HuffPo piece a few years ago, will have to update the ending of that particular article.

    Greg,

I am so surprised no one has sarcastically said for the retrieval of emails should be requested from the NSA. As bad as it is out there we need to keep calm, our eyes on the ball and wait for what we know is coming. We can help spread the word, but force our opinions on others is a lost cause. People are ignorant and sent in their own ways. They are comfortable right now and don’t like change. With every crisis there are opportunities.

“The majority must be wrong, for the few to benefit.” And it is this quote that is true , I forget who said it but is what makes up the wealthy 1%.

    Greg,

Good wrap-up. The wheels are just about off, huh? I just want to say thanks. Underneath the wear and tear of so much negative and southbound news – I still detect what I call “Ordinary Heroism” in your broadcasts. Just like the many horribly scarred veterans from WWII, who hardly ever, or never spoke about the personal costs; but came back changed men – they returned to their wives and children to do the best they could. Just getting up every day, and making the best of the bargain as they wound their way through life. It wasn’t American Exceptionalism: it was Ordinary Heroism, based on a people of better moral fabric and faith that kept everything running, and building. American Exceptionalism is an unqualified plagiarism and attempt in living in the past, because it doesn’t exist that way anymore. We are the remnants of that past, who model ourselves after our fathers and the nation’s fore-fathers. And I believe we carry what they had as they communicated some of their stuff to us; along with pockets around the world – like Colin from NZ. Be strong, and of good courage – ordinary heroism, my friend. It rubs off – you see.

      Hi Calgal
      I really enjoy your posts.
You have fired me up about the FED again!
It is interesting to see this demonstration happening in Germany. The Fed is without any doubt the most sinister, destructive and evil institution that the financial world has ever witnessed. The fact that it is privately owned, unconstitutional and illegally formed means that there are in fact numerous ways to dismember it. The Fed is the foundation and root cause of the financial global mayhem that we are all now drowning in and it is an absolute disgrace that it has been allowed to survive for over 100 years.
It is the responsibility of each and every American to accept this and to realize that they are duty bound to disband the Fed. If the man in the street in America does not rise up against this evil creation then by default they are complicit in the ongoing destruction of the US economy.

Everything is going according to plan. The Obamanistas are racing at full speed to create as many crises as possible to bring down the economic and social order as we know them before the 2016 election. They know they are toast in 2014 and do not care. They have the power of the pen and the militarized domestic police forces in place. The legislative and judicial branches have demonstrated that they are impotent and powerless. When everything collapses before the 2016 elections, the stage will be set for deferring/canceling the 2016 elections and Obama will do so knowing that he has absolutely no opposition except for some constitutionalists that he will have arrested and paraded in front of the complicit news media as the “bad guys.”

Earlier this month I took my wife over to the grocery store to do some shopping. We are really ramping up our food storage this summer, and so we grabbed as much stuff on sale as we could find. When we got our cart to the register, I was expecting the bill to be large, but I didn’t expect it to be over 300 dollars.

And remember, this was just for a single shopping cart and we had consciously tried to grab things that were significantly reduced from regular price.

I almost felt like asking the cashier which organ I should donate to pay the bill.

Sadly, this is just the beginning. Food prices are eventually going to go much, much higher than this.

Also, you should get ready to pay substantially more for water as well.

According to CNBC, one recent report warned that “your water bill will likely increase” in the coming months…

U.S. water utilities face a critical economic squeeze, according to a new report—and that will likely mean higher prices at the water tap for consumers.

A survey by water-engineering firm Black & Veatch of 368 water utility companies across the country shows that 66 percent of them are not generating enough revenue to cover their costs.

To make up for the financial shortfall, prices for water are heading upward, said Michael Orth, one of the co-authors of the report and senior vice president at Black & Veatch.

“People will have to pay more for water to make up the falling revenues,” he said. “And that’s likely to be more than the rate of inflation.”
Of even greater concern is what is happening to gas prices.

According to Bloomberg, the price of gasoline hasn’t been this high at this time of the year for six years…

Gasoline in the U.S. climbed this week, boosted by a surge in oil, and is expected to reach the highest level for this time of year since 2008.

The pump price averaged $3.686 a gallon yesterday, up 1.2 cents from a week earlier, data posted on the Energy Information Administration’s website late yesterday show. Oil, which accounts for two-thirds of the retail price of gasoline, gained $2.49 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange in the same period and $4.88 in the month ended yesterday.

The jump in crude, driven by concern that the crisis in Iraq will disrupt supplies, may boost pump prices by 10 cents a gallon at a time when they normally drop, according to forecasts including one from the EIA.
And the conflicts in Iraq, Ukraine and elsewhere could potentially send gas prices screaming far higher.

In fact, T. Boone Pickens recently told CNBC that if Baghdad falls to ISIS that the price of a barrel of oil could potentially hit $200.

  40. Arma gettin outa here

    Heard on talk radio the fairness doctrine is coming to the internet; in the meantime the internet is just burning up. How long can the maimed steamed media hold out? Somebody there with half a brain must see the writing on the wall, well I can see the clock on the wall and got’s to go but here’s some of the fire from cyber space;

“A study by the Council on Foreign Relations and the James A. Baker III Institute at Rice University claimed that Iraq has 220 bbl of undiscovered oil; and another study by the Center for Global Energy Studies and Petrolog & Associates offered an even more optimistic estimate of 300 bbl—a number that would give Iraq reserves greater even than those of Saudi Arabia. In a Guardian interview before the war, Taha Hmud Moussa, Saddam’s deputy oil minister, said that all of Iraq’s oil reserves “will exceed 300bbl when all Iraq’s regions are explored
If true, this would mean that Iraq has roughly a quarter of all of the world’s oil.”

Not Too Important’s post. Everyone loses. That’s why it’s such a bad game.

I read that Americans have killed 20-30 million people since WWII….
Is that it? Or more to come?

    Karma babes….

Mao Zedong killed more than that in one year. Whats your point? How about how many the USSR, the Germans, etc. Nice to.single.out the.USA

    Cockroaches and Bankers

The filthy cockroach and the dirty banker have been scurrying around in their respective cracks almost since the dawn of time. Funny how the bankers and the cockroaches both dislike daylight. But now the regulators have found their insecticide and the roaches and bankers are scattering. All I can hope for is that the bankers get a good spraying. It would do my heart good to see several bankers laying on their back with legs and arms flailing toward their long, slow death. Now the bible says that vengeance is not mine, so I will have to do a lot of praying I suppose. Will you pray for me?

    • Colin - 'the farmer from NZ'

      Yeah Calgirl
Do you watch Max Keiser on RT.
      http://www.maxkeiser.com
I follow him regularly and thoroughly enjoy his perspective regarding the absolute nonsense that makes up a large portion of the global finance industry. As well as having been a stockbroker, Max was also a standup comedian. Consequently much of his approach is very comical but this somehow fits the subject rather well as quite frankly much of what goes on in this cesspool is so grim and shocking that a bit of humour makes it all a bit easier to absorb.
Max pulls no punches. You should hear him when he gets going on the Jamie Dimons, the George Osbournes and the Mark Carneys of this world – nobody scares Max and no one hides from him either.
Anyway what I was getting around to is that in an animated ad for the show, RTV has Max and Stacy Herbert, his co-presenter, driving this huge fire breathing dragon shaped machine down the street whilst tearing down buildings like the World Bank headquarters and standing on banksters and their cars as they try to make off with hoards of cash. Max maintains a contrived gormless expression as he drives this monstrosity and waves to people at the same time. It is hilarious!
Calgirl – knowing what you share my thoughts on the banking cabal, I would love to know if you have seen this ad and what your reaction to it was.
      Cheers
      Colin
PS Please keep up the great posts!

(Can’t get rid of these italics)
“The dumbest leaders in the history of our nation…” and that exasperated look on your face. That pic is worth a thousand words!

On the scale of things, the name of the Washington pro football team is small potatoes, and the government has no business interfering. But the team’s name is a racial slur and Dan Snyder, the team’s owner, should do the right thing and change it. Contrast the NBA’s railroading of Jack Sterling, whom they’ve despised for years, on the basis of a private conversation.

I think a bunch of American Indians ought to get season tix to the R-skins home games and show up in full war paint and Indian regalia and cheer loudly for the Skins — “This is our team!” — and co-opt the farce. The fans would love it and would end up not only cheering the American Indians (many of whom, I’m told, dislike the pretentious term “Native American”) but, quietly behind the scenes, would become their friends and supporters.

    • Calgirl

      Esquimaux
When the Washington Redskins were named some thirty or forty years ago, your indignation was not even on the radar. Their name is a brand name, like Cocoa Cola or General Mills……something very dear to the owner/investors and not easily changed. I personally do not see their name as a slur….maybe the Indians are proud of “their” team, did you consider that? How easily we become distracted from the real issues…..such as the possibility of WAR, or the financial ruin of an entire society!

    • Calgirl

      Esquimaux,
I apologize….I was wrong about your post and your views. Please accept my apology. I am too ready to “jump” on this issue.

Maybe Greg will be kind enough to catch my missive and delete it for me!

  44. Rod Cloutier

    Greg,

I like most of your videos but not this one. Children facing an uncertain future to be deported back to another country to face an even more uncertain future ?? This event is not without historical precedent. America was built on families in Europe and elsewhere risking everything to emigrate across an ocean. Families sent their children away from home, out of hopelessness and poverty to have a chance of a future abroad. Clearly that is what is happening here as well.

Families without hope are sending their kids to the US on the slim hope that they might escape poverty and misery at home- and the solution is to deport them? Do you really want to end America from being ‘the land of the free, and the home of the brave’ ?

Let’s give kids a chance of a better life !

    • Greg Hunter

      Rod,
This is no accident. It is orchestrated and planned by the lawless Obama Administration. Who is going to pay for this??
      Greg

      • oldnurse

Do you have evidence that it was planned and orchestrated? If so, would you please post it ? Thanks.

      • Rod Cloutier

Lots of people want to adopt. That’s a good place to start.

        • Greg Hunter

          Rod Cloutier,
The Obama Administration is orchestrating this. A good place to start is to make an announcement that immigration laws will be enforced and people will be turned away at the border. Who is going to pay for this when we cannot take care of our veterans?
          Greg

    • Calgirl

      Rod,
Perhaps you will take in a “family” or two. You know, the family that has TB and runs with MS13. You can even give up your job so that they can work. When Europeans immigrated to our once fine country they came with the guarantee that they would not be a burden on our society….they had sponsors to guarantee that they would not go immediately “on the dole”. They also had to pass a physical exam. If they failed, they were sent back on the next ship. So, maybe you should rethink your position. We have homeless here also, and millions without work or hope. Their families go to bed hungry too. And let’s not forget that they came legally. Go on down to the barrio and pick up a couple of homeless from there if you are so eager to give our country away.

    • Jerry

      Rod
It reminds me of the Cuban boat lift crisis when Castro emptied the jails un Cuba. Only instead of waves of criminals coming in. we’ve got waves of children, that central American Marxist regimes can’t afford to take care of. This is a total tragedy. These children are being used as political pawns.

    • Galaxy 500

Yes, America was built on LEGAL immigration. Why would take food and jobs from our children to give to non citizens?

  45. Galaxy 500

    And the plot thickens

And another thought…what do.30,000 stored guillotines look like….shipping boxes indistinguishable from anything else shipped…you know they wouldnt be shipped assembled. So if you somehow found a warehouse full of boxes, how would you know whats in them and how would you have time to count them? Things that defy logic and make you go hmmmm…kind of like the dog ate my email lie. You cant build a foundation of truth on the shifting sands of lies. You will always be undone

Just a great weekly wrap up Greg.
I have no real comments……What could I say?
I can’t get anyone to listen nor can I convince them to prepare here in La La suburbia.
You can just see trouble coming.

I have told my daughter , who lives in the next state, to get in the car and return home at the first sign of turmoil.
For those with children who live at a distance you might think about a family plan of action if anything extreme takes place.
Phones may be out of service and travel may be restricted if you wait too long.
10 more ounces of silver being delivered and it is still a bargain.
Discussion with my wife concerning avoiding the new bank trend of charging for deposits / Looks like it will all be credit union for now.

I don’t need convincing nor do I want to sound like the smartest guy in the room.
    Way past that.
    Trust in the Lord.
    Peace to all here.

      Eddie,
The bible says 365 times the phrase “Fear not.” One for every day of the year. Thank you for your comment.

The IRS claim that the crash of Lois Lerner’s hard drive resulted in the loss of 2 years of her emails is a complete lie. She may have kept copies of some of her emails on her own personal hard drive for quick access. However, the servers that routed the emails to and from all IRS employees anywhere are surely stored, backed up and retained elsewhere and accessible for many years. When working in the banking industry all emails (as well as most other forms of data) were all required to be backed up and retained for periods of many years. It has been a while since I worked there, but retention periods were for most data were generally 7+ years, emails were retained much longer. The contention that the data is completely irretrievable because of a crash of a single PC hard drive is so absurd to be a poor attempt at bad humor. To not backup this data on central servers for very long term retention would surely violate numerous gov’t laws and agency policies. If this contention really is true then surely the IT directors of the IRS would have already been fired for gross incompetence, which to my knowledge has not occurred. Additionally, the emails to/from the white house and other agencies would all be backed up to their own servers for retention. Any of those other entities would be able to identify and provide copies of emails to/from their agencies that involved Lois Lerner. If those emails are not produced then IMO Congress has a duty to appoint a special prosecutor to get to the bottom of the issue.

When evil is in confronted with the agenda they cannot argue with the truth. The only recourse they have is power and control. That has been the progressive/liberal agenda since Wilson and Roosevelt of both parties. These parasites have been trying to kill us for 100 years. That is how strong our God endowed republic was founded. Just check your history books. That is if the evil twisted progressives haven’t gotten there to rewrite it first. Maggots are one step up on the food chain from progressives. They want to turn every self thinker into dumb down sheep. Why? So government can replace God!! God bless you Greg.

This is a follow up on my last post about Russia preparing for attack in Ukraine
    from zero hedge.
    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-06-21/russia-puts-troops-central-region-combat-ready-alert-after-launch-massive-surprise-d
Trust me, this is a dress rehearsal for the real thing. It cost money to move troops like this and the Russians don’t have it right now, with the recent embargo and gas pipe line explosion crippling their economy. NATO and the US will once again be caught flat footed when Putin throws that left hook. Buckle in, its about to get bumpy.

The ruling class is deliberately destabilizing nations (Ukraine, Syria, Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan just to name a few of the more recent ones) in order to foment chaos, and war to mask the disastrous economic policies they have pushed upon the world to benefit themselves (the 1% ruling class) at the expense of everyone else. After the wars, and the economic crash they intend to “save” us with a new global fiat currency (perhaps the “Word Bank Dollar”?) that will be the death stroke to any chance the working people have of saving the fruits of their labors. Anyone, or any nation, that resists will be destroyed. Sadly, most people will line up and drink the fiat currency Kool-Aid. Long live liberty! Long live revolution! SECEDE…SECEDE…SECEDE…
