Sovereign Debt Crisis May Start in Middle East – Martin Armstrong

Legendary financial and geopolitical cycle analyst Martin Armstrong warned in May “Iran Bombs UAE to Trigger Financial Meltdown.” Then, about two weeks ago, there was a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the US and Iran, and everyone thought the war and the crisis was on its way to being over. Oil fell below $70 a barrel, and it looked like everything was going to be worked out with a 60-day ceasefire. Now, it looks like everything could fall apart with attacks from Iran, counter-attacks from the US and the back and forth continues. Can the MOU that has dropped the price of oil survive this? Martin Armstrong says, “Iran is not stupid. What is happening is when we had Covid, oil went down to $6.50 (per barrel). It was below production costs. The governments borrowed extensively to stay alive. All that debt is still there. So, the sovereign debt crisis may start in the Middle East. People are completely blindsided because they think that in the Middle East, they are just flush with money–Not True. Now, they are like everybody else with debt up to their chin. Iran is intelligent. They are not Venezuela. They are attacking the Gulf State refineries and the whole Strait of Hormuz. They know that’s not impacting the United States. The US is basically self-sufficient. It impacts Asia, and it impacts Europe, but what else does it do? It prevents the Gulf States from selling oil. If they cannot sell oil, they default on their loans. If they default on their loans, you get a banking crisis, which goes straight to London. This is much more complicated than people think. Trump understands this is much bigger than just Hormuz and the price of oil.”
Armstrong goes on to say, “There is going to be no peace deal in Iran. . .. We have a conflict of interests. Trump is trying to get out because he has the midterms, but Netanyahu is going to run again, and he needs a victory–which to me is impossible. His opposition in Israel is pounding him saying we got nothing out of this. . .. If Netanyahu agrees to peace, he basically loses the election. The polls are saying he has 61% of Israelis against him.” So, don’t look for peace with Iran for the rest of this year going into 2027, according to Armstrong.
So, what’s going to happen with gold and oil, which have had big corrections? Armstrong predicts, “The Middle East is a mess, and oil is going to take off again after a July low. Gold may be bottoming this week. . .. Then, it will be heading up through August.”
Armstrong still sees the Democrat Party breaking up just as he predicted in December of 2024. For proof this is happening now, look no further than Dem loyalist James Carville’s recent comments. Armstrong is still predicting Europe goes to war with Russia and loses. Why go to war? Because of huge economic problems. Armstrong says, “They want war. . .. look for things to heat up between Ukraine and Russia because Zelensky has been given the green light to escalate it.”

I still expect peace to come, in spite of V Zelenski and Netanyahu. My timing has been off. I expected things to unfold quicker. Between oil and the mid east, the vote will be much better managed and the economic results so fa are encouraging. Trump will manage the voter fraud by his authority as commander & chief to protect voting, can assign resources to watch over the process like their national guard available to him. The issues are the voting machines and mail in ballots, even though there are other ways to cheat. There are still far too many non citizens that need to be removed, and economic fraud against government programs intended for Americans to deal with. I am happy to see the far left nut jobs are being pushed aside by the more conservative Democrats, but in the end the party will fail just as is expected.
Of gold & silver it’s definitely a hold for the time when the value will rise as the switch comes to sound money. Everyone seems convinced it’s a great idea to participate in the replacement system of sound money that uses quantum technology. Sound money anyone can agree with. The quantum FS in the larger picture is a death trap due to the dangers of the coming mark. Death by steps of acceptance by the public, to use neuralink. With acceptance the public can be lured into confidence to the point of mixing tech into the banking, yet sound money alone doesn’t need a quantum system that tracks everything because you can’t print gold or silver to back fake paper. There has to be paper for autonomy and for the economy to continue in times when technologies will fail, and fail it will, if not by interference in the grid, then certainly by a pole shift that will happen and isn’t a maybe. The next window is April 4th 2029. Then 2036.
The next step is getting the public comfortable using the neuralink, and later a government that would willingly use CBDC’s. Being so detached from scripture in general, the public still needs to be educated about the danger coming from tech involved in the financial system.

Over the four plus years NATO gradually has increased its direct role attacks
against Russia. Now, initially they were minor then growing and Russia seemed to make the decision that it was better to absorb the pain and rather focus on just defeating this Ukrainian proxy, through this war of attrition. And now it seems Russia has painted itself into a corner as certain things appear to have happened. That NATO’s attacks are no longer just miniscule pinpricks. That long range drones and missiles are now well supplied by the west and also well targeted. Picked by the west and of course western satellites directing the attacks and not just civilian targets any longer. Closing a possible civilian tit for tat targeting nightmare for political figures branded as war crime figures!
NATO countries as a result are no longer deterred blowing up oil refining facilities even despite Trumps declaration that NATO’s cutting off the hand that feeds them with cheap oil especially in times such as these, with Iran doing the same and less than two weeks before the US. oil reserve shuts down before lack of oill causes the facilities to come crashing down upon itself. Because of the loss of support from to low of oil to support the cavernous walls. There seems to be a very firm belief that they can strike Russia with impunity and anyone who disagrees are seen as someone who’s coming to Russia’s aid and defense and has to be well purged from polite discourse, shamed in polite circles. Unlike the common folk or riff raff that long for the days of cheap energy and prosperity, who embrace such talk! So this creates a very dangerous position for Russia that it must escalate in a big way otherwise the attacks will only increase in intensity, and NATO will become even more brazen and convinced that Russia would never dare to respond. Hence the Europeans can talk openly about going to war with Russia with much fanfare and pomp and circumstance, without any consequences?

Trump hasn’t pulled the US out of Ukraine at all. Trump has been escalating the war in Ukraine. The US supplies the satellites, the targeting, the drones, the ammunition, and the money. Ukraine would not be able to send the drones into Russia without Trump’s approval.
