Europe Is the Problem with Peace Deal in Ukraine – Martin Armstrong

About two months ago, legendary financial and geopolitical cycle analyst Martin Armstrong was called in by the Trump White House to come up with a peace plan that Vladimir Putin and Russia would agree to. Armstrong has confirmed this request was “sanctioned” by President Trump. This means the President is serious about stopping the Ukraine war. Armstrong says, “I think I changed the narrative with this plan.” Armstrong came up with a nearly 200-page paper called “Peace Proposal to Prevent World War III.” Now, we are finding out that the Russians want to make a peace deal, but the Europeans do NOT want a deal. Nothing illustrates this more than the headline that came out yesterday that said, “We Must Protect Volodymyr’: Leaked Call Shows European Leaders Conspiring Against Trump Peace Plan.” Armstrong has also long said, “Europe is Falling & Needs War with Russia.” It all comes down to default and money. Armstrong explains, “They have a choice. They go into a sovereign default, and what is going to happen is the people are going to have pitchforks, and they will be storming the parliaments. . .. Europe is going into a depression–the US will go into a recession.”
Armstrong contends this will be a “grand finale of default in Europe.” Armstrong says, “Oh yeah, it will be the banks and pension funds. The pension funds on average must have 70% government debt. So, this is what I warned about in Washington. I think they have taken what I have said to heart. I have explained Europe is the problem.”
So, it looks like war with Russia, but maybe not with the US. Armstrong says, “My suggestion was to threaten the EU with ‘you accept this peace deal, or we exit NATO.’ I warned them that NATO will create a false flag. You just had an Italian admiral come out in the EU and say we are justified for a hybrid attack to do a ‘preemptive strike’ against Russia—preemptive! We need to get the hell out of NATO!”
It looks like the US leaving NATO over a failed Ukraine peace deal is a real possibility. Armstrong says, “I was told flat out that we would not be at war with Russia. The risk is with China. . .. Do you know who has the biggest reserves of wheat in the world? China. They have been buying food for exactly what I have been forecasting. . .. They are preparing for World War III.”
In closing, Armstrong is fresh off his World Economic Conference (WEC) that had hundreds of thousands of live streamers. The big themes for 2026 are: sovereign debt default (but not in the US), war and civil unrest. Armstrong also talks about gold and silver and how the bull market in metal is not going to be over anytime soon.

Time for a reality check. Today, I want to share a non-typical investment win where I believe I “knocked the ball out of the park”. I am sure you would then have to realize I am NOT the average Joe Investor at all. Here is a good example why:
I Bought 32 Lbs. (A “1/2 Bag”) of Junk Silver quarters and dimes, pre-1965, 90% Silver) at $16.80/ ounce in Mid-Sept. 2016.
Fast Forward to today and behold, a HOME RUN. I scored a whopping 38% return a year or a total gain of 350% from 2016-2025! No investment model in equities can ever hope to beat that one. Not since the late Nelson and Bunker Hunt (Brothers) attempted to corner the silver market in 1980 has Silver ever exceeded $50.0 ounce.
Even so, how many financial advisors or RIA’s are bragging that their model captured a 102% gain this year in silver? I must say none that I have ever heard of, including former hedge fund manager, Michael Burry, M.D., the options man. Can I suggest BLIND SPOT?
Look, it gets even better from here. Ever since President FDR in 1933, there has been no IRS Form 1099 requirement at either the time of purchase or sale of physical precious metals. So, your capital gains are whatever you want them to be. Of course, many prefer Zero gains. LOL.
Back then (2016), I had no conceivable idea that Silver would ever come close to its current spot market price. Regardless, I had the upmost confidence in our illustrious Congress that their collective spending discipline would never happen in the future and the dollar would depreciate forever, as history proves. Sure enough, I was spot-on Due to so predicable Human Nature. Not hard for guys like me with “Financial Common Sense”. I laughed all the way to the bank so they can all eat their hearts out.
Let’s add some insult to injury here for a moment. First, I must confess I failed to harvest all the possible gains from my silver bet. I habitually avoid leverage or gambling (options). Recall, interest rates back the in Sept. 2016 were at a 5,000-year low of .4%!! The only way to make real money is with leverage AND concentration but back then, leverage and interest rates were at a multi-generational low and I failed to see it. Misery loves company. Someone rare, real smart individuals (the proverbial 1%), such as JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon saw this opportunity back in 2015 and took it. Here is what I wished I had likewise done:
Take out a long-term loan at .4% in 2016 and buy a few pallets full of 1 Kilo Silver Bars and store with a secure firm’s vault such as Brinks, Inc. Then wait ’till harvest time. Patience nearly always Pays-Off over time. This is the difference between someone at CEO Jamie Dimon’s level and all the rest of us Dabblers, sic. Diversifiers.
Live and Learn. You can NEVER go back. (Don’t look back either).

Here’s an idea for a few years worth of grain. We have a half dozen 330 gallon IBC totes up on some dunnage. We have 3 with wheat and 3 with mixed, cracked grains for the chickens. They are up high enough to get a 5 gallon bucket under the drain valve and i have a modified bulb auger that fits in that hole to pull the grain out with a drill. We use about 1 ton of grain for chicken feed in a year. I’ve read that we could stretch out the chicken feed if we soaked it in water for a few days, but we haven’t tried that. Hopefully, none of this is needed, but i can tell that we are at least saving money on the chicken feed and the eggs are great quality.

I think the one thing I’d like to contribute to that line of thought is that the bible, including the books of prophecy, are really for Christians. What I suppose I’m getting at is that most think that what is prophesied in the Bible applies to the entire world’s population, but in actuality it is intended for Christians because it is all about Christianity. In other words the last Christian kingdom is what is described in Daniel, particularly in Daniel 2 with the statue.
Well, so much more to say, but I did want to mention that the Bible makes a lot more sense if it is considered in this light.

Between 2014 and 2016, the wife and I stocked up on extra can goods just in case. We reached a point, based on calculations where we had x-years worth of meals.
Issues with this is that food simply doesn’t keep for the long duration. I thought can goods would last. That’s dependent on what’s inside. As I’ve had many cans in the middle of my great ‘food stack’ pop and soil/contaminate the surroundings. Full lids, pop-top lids, no matter, the cans pop.
The rule with can food storage is to circulate the cans. That’s a major issue; we don’t eat can food. we eat foods purchased fresh from our farm store. Only our Tomato Soup s and Tuna come from a can. Saving can foods for a rainy day could work out .. or it could produce a scenario where we’re now at: have to dispose of the can food. What a shame.
What to do with the cans with tops that have not popped? Cans are 10 years old, you can’t donate expired food to food kitchens or pantries. Who is currently hungry enough to take the chance the food didn’t go bad? What a waste. It all has to get tossed.
Do find a way to store extra food .. but have a better plan than I did. Simply throwing money at it to procure the food stash was the easy part. Dealing with it over the years, that’s been a challenge.

I have made the mistakes you have. Prepping takes a plan and extra time to work the plan. I last several cases, 12 cans to the case, because I was gonna rotate them “next” time. Yeah, next time came when I was throwing them away.
Tomatoes are hard to keep long term as the acid will find any flaw in the protective inner coating and damage it. Most Prepping guides says acidic stuff is good up 18 -24 months after “Best Buy”.
If you and I are rotating, it really isn’t a problem.
All systems require “energy” to maintain (time, planning and effort).
I bought the longer life Mountain House Freeze dried stuff. I don’t buy a lot of canned goods — exception are the #10 cans of freeze dried stuff. I don’t eat a lot of canned veggies. I try to use a few cans a week. Fresh is too easy to get.
Coffee beans, tea, salt, sugar, spices
I vacuum seal the extra I buy and if it’s a big sale of the good stuff, I splurge and use Mylar bags and O2 absorbers. And…LOL… I’ve learned to do it right after I bring the box or bag of groceries into the house. Otherwise, I never get around to it.
I understand the part about not eating canned vegetables… and the exploded cans… and the what do I do with this mess after you wasted the money.
