Silver Anticipates Fiat Currencies Dying – John Rubino

Analyst and financial writer John Rubino has been warning of a currency crisis. On Friday, we saw a record high price spike for silver that produced a record high price for the white metal. Meanwhile, we saw record high prices for gold on the same day. This has never happened before, and that shows the currency crisis long predicted is here. Rubino says, “Currencies are pouring into real money in anticipation of the existing fiat currencies dying. That is a whole different thing and on a much bigger scale because the numbers are grossly inflated after 70 years of a credit super cycle. So, what we have seen so far is really just the beginning. Gold and silver have had huge runs, but they are doing it when things are more or less still normal. Precious metals are starting to soar in anticipation of something abnormal coming. Right now, this is a bigger gold than silver story because gold is the money we go back to when national currencies fail. Silver is a more complex story because it is also an industrial metal. There are new industries that are using more and more silver, and there is just not enough silver to satisfy that demand.”
Rubino contends the silver price spike will bring on a lot of volatility. Rubino points out, “That is pretty much a lock. Silver is probably going to bounce around a lot in the next week or so. . .. All the silver is being sucked away, and when they run out, they say we will just pay you cash for these futures contracts. If that happens, that is basically the end of paper exchanges. We will just totally stop trusting them. Why would anybody want a long futures contract on an exchange that just defaults . . .. This is another big thing that might happen in the coming weeks. When you see prices move like this, an awful lot of bad things become possible. . .. There are a lot of shorts out there that just went massively underwater on Friday. . .. Somebody big has a lot of losses. . .. It’s like Warren Buffett says, ‘You only know who has been swimming naked when the tide goes out. Well, the tide has gone out for silver, and now we are going to find out who was unwisely short that market in the past week.”
Rubino sees silver resetting to at least $200 per ounce in the not-too-distant future. Gold will also reset to at least $10,000 per ounce. Rubino says the next big trend is Big Tech players buying actual silver mines and bypassing metal exchanges altogether. Rubino says, “Big Tech players are going to go out and get silver now, so they are set for the next few years. Yes, some of them are starting to buy silver mines. In the mining sector, this is one of the big changes we will see coming soon. Maybe Tesla buys First Majestic or some mine like that. Tesla buys a big silver mining company with multiple silver mines to guarantee silver supply going forward. . .. Google, Meta or Microsoft can pay insane amounts of money for commodities if they need to. It’s inventory building and panic buying in some cases. . .. All roads lead to higher precious metals right now. The only way it doesn’t is if there is a global nuclear war that extinguishes civilization. Take that out of the equation, and everything points to weaker currencies and higher precious metals prices.”

Are those spot prices for Friday or Monday? If those were the closing spot prices for Friday, Australia is tracking the Shanghai’s silver spot price rather than the COMEX’s spot price.
If silver price in NYC ($79.39 – 11:00am – Sunday) started following prices set in Shanghai (around $88 – Friday) tomorrow, I believe that means COMEX and LBMA can no longer control/manipulate prices of PMs.

Thanks for the interview Mr. Hunter and Mr. Rubino. As exciting as all this is; it’s equally scary. I would urge everyone to think about where all our food comes from. None of us can do everything, but we can do something. I would also recommend we think about things we use that come from China and get some of that (i bought a box of 12 oil filters recently). Trump has issued the Monroe doctrine part 2- The oil from Venezuela was going to the “I” and “C” in BRICS and as Vince Lanci deduced- a lot of silver comes from the Americas goes there also, and a clear division between the Americas and Asia has started and this looks like a prelude to war- who controls the Panama Canal? It’s not to hard to think that ‘Stuff’ from China may not be available at some point. Not a week goes by that i don’t think about grain changing to corn in the KJ and what should or could I do. The US Navy spent Billions to put Laser Weapons on their Battle Ships to shoot down Drones. 4. The hope of God’s Kingdom in a world like this
Now as to what you stated: refuting the hopeless, cynical take and replacing it with a Kingdom hope “at such a time as this.”

Revelation 11:18: God “will bring to ruin those ruining the earth” — not everyone, not the meek, not the faithful.
5. What about all the geopolitical chaos, war talk, and economic fear?

From a purely human view, it does look like a setup for catastrophe. And from a biblical view, it fits the pattern of the “last days”;

this system has an appointed end

6. What about “get right with Jesus and prep”?

“Get right with Jesus” — focused on afterlife
“Get your financial house in order, prep, defend your family” — focused on surviving societal collapse
The Kingdom message is different:
Salvation is not just “spiritual insurance for the hereafter” — it includes the hope of surviving the great tribulation into a righteous new earth ruled by God’s Kingdom.
The main preparation is spiritual: building faith, Bible knowledge, obedience, brotherly love, peaceable conduct.
Material prepping is not condemned, but it’s not the main focus. You can’t out‑prep God’s judgments or global collapse and a ten year nuclear winter!
You mentioned Revelation 3:10 — the promise to keep those who have kept Jesus’ word. That aligns with this: Jehovah knows how to protect those who belong to him, not by their stockpiles, but by their faithfulness.
7. So is this “the end” or just another cycle?
From the perspective you asked about;
We are living in the “last days” of this system.
But there will be no last days for the earth itself.
Humans who love righteousness have a real hope of living through the end of this system into a world under God’s Kingdom rule.

Back in the 1980s best selling author, Robert J Ringer, once told me, “gold to infinity”.
What Robert met by that was that one day gold priced in dollars would be priceless, because the dollar would be worthless. Simple as that.

Quite frankly I do not listen to John, but as of recent I have been watching many videos by an AI avatar who calls itself, “The Asia Guy” who so far has produce the most cogent explanation of how Wall Street works and what is actually happening in the precious metals market, and I know guys like John also watch Asia Guy, because YouTube is suggesting his 100 videos under three different site in the last month or so. The group in control of this Avatar are prolific and they are telling the truth about why Silver is about to blow the lid off the precious metals market. Also when the banks had to go to the fed to borrow 17 billion dollars to cover their shorts, they just fell into what this group are calling a Doom Loop.
Their advice at the moment, DO NOT SELL YOUR SILVER IF YOU HAVE SOME IN YOUR POSSESSION, BECAUSE IT WILL GO TO 150 DOLLARS AN OUNCE THIS YEAR, IF NOT THIS MONTH !

Silver or gold by volume remains the same but the price goes up, the problem will occur when instruments of wealth that have NO volume or resource vehicles not based in reality are cashed out of to buy things that are based in reality, think of the bills written by governments things they call good paper good debt, bonds that promise, or the crazy of them all crypto and over valued real estate. People paid cash for or bought loans and now they want their cash to buy back into reality, to place this on the currentancy seems short-sighted as the very vehicle the writers of paper wanted was cash to buy their great reset as criminals don’t work for paper promises.

Great guest, I love his intelligent opinion. The trouble is, when the FED extends the credit cycle by printing money to lower interest rates, it feels like it can go on forever. At minute 29, John states that the FED can inflate their way out of a currency crisis. Nope, that will never happen. They will stop the print before we have an inflationary depression and allow a deflationary depression to happen just like 1930.
$79.67 silver is still very cheap, $800 an ounce this year isn’t impossible. I wouldn’t mortgage the house to buy silver though, just set a budget and buy $100 per week or per month based on what you can afford. A good way to raise the money is to stop smoking, drinking, stop taking drugs, and eating junk food, end unnecessary travel, cancel those useless steaming accounts, and put the savings into silver.

There is an acute and growing global shortage of physical silver which is essential in the manufacturing of a variety of tech. related products ranging from cell phones and computers to EV’s worldwide.

So, China has silver and we lack it. This supply imbalance cannot be quickly rectified if at all.
The trading and settlement of real silver has thus moved from London and the COMEX to Shanghai. So, our margin requirements are irrelevant due to the fact we can no longer control (suppress) the price of silver with paper options contracts. Financial power has shifted to China. We lost our edge. No COMEX Policies can change this fact.
