Standing on House of Cards-Jonathan Cahn

jonathan-cahn-1By Greg Hunter’s (Early Sunday Release)

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, a Messianic Jew, is out with a third best-seller in a row called “The Book of Mysteries.” In the “Harbinger,” he has said things like the attack on America on 9/11 was a warning.  Now, Cahn is out with some new warnings.  On the economy, Cahn says, “We are still on a house of cards, standing on a house of cards. There’s debt, and all the propping up, and actually, since the Shemitah of 2008, the world economy has never recovered.  It’s been paralyzed.  The growth has been paralyzed since 2008, and that’s with all the lowering of rates, which means we have no room for anything . . . . We are in the most dangerous months of the stock markets. . . .  We are right now . . . in the period following the seventh Shemitah, which is the Jubilee period.  It doesn’t have to happen, but it means the same dynamics (market crash) can happen as well into this period.  There is a principle in the Bible that is linked to this . . . it says that if a nation follows God, it’s going to be lending to many nations and not borrowing.  That is a sign of God’s favor.  America has been the greatest creditor nation in history, but that changed as America has been falling away from God.  This goes with the harbingers, and that has not stopped either. . . . As America continues to rapidly accelerate away from God, at the same time, America turned from the greatest creditor nation to the greatest debtor nation.”

On Donald Trump running for President, Cahn says, “On one hand, we have a party and candidate who has said ‘deep seated religious beliefs must be changed.’ Why?  So, abortion can expand.  That is from Hillary Clinton.  The Democratic platform . . .  has been the most brazen anti-Biblical platform this year.  The Republican platform has been the strongest for these things (pro-Bible).  Whether for Israel, or for life, or for religious liberty, so, I don’t see any choice on but one party.  I don’t see any hope on the Democratic side, and do see there can be hope on the Republican side. . . . Donald Trump is a fascinating situation here.  You cannot say he is living in any way shape or form an exemplary religious life; however, he has pledged on issues on the Supreme Court which will affect us for the next 30 years.  We have to be careful about Trump because he has made statements very much like in Isaiah 9:10.  Things like ‘America is going to be greater than ever,’ and that’s fine, but America can only be great by returning to the God who made America great in the first place.  So, there’s hope there . . . He’s surrounded by believers, and so there is hope.  There is also a warning.  You cannot become great without returning to God.  The hope for America is return and revival.”

On Cahn’s latest best-seller “The Book of Mysteries,” Cahn says, “The Book of Mysteries is literally opening up hundreds of the mysteries of God.  Everything from the mysteries of the end times, mysteries behind history, mysteries of Heaven and mysteries of finding your own destiny, as well.  The reason I was led to do this book is I believe we are going to have very challenging times ahead, especially for believers, very challenging times.  God wants people to be strong.  People say how do I stand?  How do I flourish?  You can flourish in the days ahead, and you can actually prosper in the days ahead, and I am not just talking about financially.  I am talking about in the most important ways.  So, I wrote “The Book of Mysteries” to give strength to everybody.  It’s not only for believers, but it is for non-believers because people are reading it, and they are coming to the Lord.”

On the Middle, East Cahn says, “Every single nation that has blessed Israel has been blessed, and every single nation that has cursed Israel has been cursed. It’s not just that, but whatever you do to Jewish people gets done back to you.  We are at a dangerous point, we have been blessed, but as we turn from Israel, watch out because it’s a perfect storm. . . . There is no peace for the Middle East.  It is always a tinder box. . . . Do I see peace?  Absolutely not, until as with America, the reconciliation comes with God. . . . If you don’t have peace with God, this is how you get it.  This is the whole point of the book.”

The arrogance of Americans astounds me. Any excuse to control the world and religion is one weapon una very big arsenal.

Keep up the good work Greg.

    • Robert Lykens

Globalists, not Americans. The cancer is in Australia too.

      • Anthony Australia

        I stand corrected.

      • Tin foil hat

        Robert Lykens,
Ditto. I’ll fight for the republic but I’ll never fight for the globalists. I believe Trump and Putin together will fix it.

      • Gordon Carpenter

Canada too. We recently elected a “charming” globalist called Justin Trudeau. I could see within a few weeks of his election who he was.

    • BLT

Oprah and doctor Phil have been on for decades now. It is anything but astounding how ignorant some of the population here can be my good friend. Only light can cure darkness and Greg is a glimmer of that light.

    • howard

The attack on America was done by our own govt along with the Israelis, British and with the help of other “allies”. It was done to bring on the new world order. That’s also why we and Europe are being invaded. This is not immigration – it’s an invasion.

      • Deanna Johnston Clark

Blaming governments isn’t the same as blaming peoples. The chasm between the Washington powerful and the American people is monstrous. This is true for Israel and other powerful countries. When people say “Israel” what do they mean? When people say “America”, what do they mean? Every day I see actual common people who have no idea where their oil and gas come from, where their army is, or who decided the stores should be stocked with cheap slave made imports….

And nobody, including the Trump and Clinton Monday night, brings up the illegal drug trade and pill epidemics that are draining billions and human lives out of all our countries. What good are “jobs” when the drug tests disqualify most applicants? Nobody…none of the bloggers with brilliant careers in economics…wants to get down with this.

    • Beverly Kingsford

I don’t think most Americans are interested in controlling people’s religious beliefs. I think they just want people to act Christlike and have that sort of society around them. But, when you really think about what will make a society the happiest and most successful, it is the belief and practice of the teachings of Jesus that will make a society great. Truth is truth and the truth is, is that Christ and God the Father created this world and they control what happens here. If we can’t face up to the facts, then we are in denial and living in darkness. All God and His Son want, really, is a little recognition for the many, many, many blessings they have given to us. Christ died so we all might live again and live better too. If we just take that for granted or are not courageous enough to stand up for God, then we deserve to be blasted. It’s time we all take a courageous stand for Christ and show our gratitude for all THEY have done for us.

      • Irice Hogan

        Very insightful Bev!

      • Russ McMeans

Nice Beverly! Great insight. Kudos to the Lord!

My faith is in Buddha, my Lord.

So where to I stand with your beliefs?

    • Russ McMeans

Thank you Anthoney for your input! And thank you Greg for Jonathan’s wonderful insights.
USA watchdog is on par with Drudge Report and Zero hedge, but the input by the readers is definitely more civil. God bless all of you but the prog democrats, they will kill us all if we let them! (History is our teacher).

        Amen to that

  2. H. Craig Bradley

    Great Session!

I LOVE (Agape) Jonathan Cahn. He is “singing to the choir”.

We are clueless as a nation. In addition, most people in my hometown of Glendale, CA and elsewhere are just as clueless. ( “Me too” ). What’s more, they are comfortable remaining in this “state of mind”. Socialism is the hidden, ever present pressure to conform. Moreover, this collective cluelessness (group think) is seen by the masses as “common sense”. This prevalent view or influence is growing in its power and influence daily.

We are ALL in big trouble, even if we only get a “spanking” not a “shaking” for now. The key statement Jonathan made about this situation or process: ” The ball is already rolling downhill”. Try stopping an object in motion with momentum behind it. Not likely. Only talk and little action (effort) will not “cut the mustard”, as they say.

    • H. Craig Bradley

The “Americans” who control the U.S. Government today and their cronies the globalists of both parties (the problem) are not genuine Christians or practicing ones either. They are False and constitute “the Apostic’ia”. As Mr. Cahn has explained: ” The ball is already rolling downhill” ( and picking up speed ). It won’t be easily stopped or turned-around either by anybody. However, we might with God’s assistance, possibly deflect the blow ( soften ) and avoid a direct hit to vital areas of the body politic ( Shield, Breastplate, Sword). For now, sheath your swords but don’t voluntarily turn them in, as yet. Time for some preparations, conditioning, and possibly, PT.

Collectivism in the form of the lamestream media and facebook; which keeps us steadily informed on how we need to think and what is acceptable in today’s society! It tells us to bow to the peer pressure that keeps bombarding us all, or else face societal censureship.

      • Deanna Johnston Clark

Facebook and Twitter are direct causes of depression…many times more than non-users. Fact.

  3. Shadow of Doubt

Western governments have for years been systematically attempting to control, infiltrate, manipulate and warp online discourse. Hard evidence exists that most governments and even international organizations are attempting to influence not only what people are thinking but also their emotional state! A brief article can be found on for those interested in additional information .
These seemingly random commenters mission is to divert the conversation away from the issue at hand and towards a topic that is in keeping with their agenda. Hot button topics that point to failings in the system or key political planks are the most common targets of such attackers (aka “trolls” or “shills”).
I greatly appreciate what you bring to the not-so-vaunted fourth estate, via your top-notch website and contributions to Discount Gold and Silver Trading podcasts!

    • Greg Hunter

Thank you SOD. I Know YOU are NOT a troll and we thank you again for the link and analysis.

      • Shadow of Doubt

FYI–molding history, shaping opinions and revising cultural tales has been going on for quite some time. Guy Christopher recently examined two well known stories–Robin Hood and The Wizard of Oz–and how they have been changed to better co-inside with the narrative of our times. See Money Metals for an interesting reveal.

    • H. Craig Bradley

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerman is plugged-in with the Main Stream Media (MSM) and shows all the agendas of the group, as well as their political bias. I sold my Fb at a profit early on and never, ever use social media or Facebook. Why give away for free what little confidentiality and privacy is left in today’s snoop society? Besides, NOBODY has 100 “friends” anyway. Its impossible in today’s society.

Nearly everyone is either listening or observing, not just the NSA. The only thing keeping our potential Staci from knocking on your door at midnight is the Bill of Rights and U.S. Constitution ( and Smith & Wesson), but not for long if Hillary is elected. They are all waiting to pounce like a Lion. Kiss your liberties good night and check-out or hide if trends continue.

      • Edward Ulysses Cate

I wonder if others had ever considered why Native people didn’t want their picture taken. They used the word “spirit” in their answer to confuse. It simply was that they didn’t want their enemy to know what they looked like, when they couldn’t know what their enemy looked like. They simply wanted some self-defense. I’m not on Facebook.

        • Russ McMeans

I’m supposed to be on Facebook to find out what my friends & wife are up to. I go there sometimes. It’s cool but kinda superficial. I post Greg’s interviews occasionally there. No feedback, but the I never check for feedback- don’t have the time. Facebook is for people that have extra time and aren’t interested in news, i.e. Curiosity in what’s going on in the world, history, politics, economics, etc. But come to think of it, the FB crowd doesn’t have the time to root around in these quality news, journalism websites. Maybe we’re just too serious about our destiny?

    • Deanna Johnston Clark

Yes…just when people warm to an important subject about daily life the subject of Aliens or some other new age gibberish intrudes. It’s the “Hey, there’s a naked lady!” that ends all discourse!

    • Jim

      You missed Stephan Molyneux.

    • Jim

      Also James Corbett. Two stalwarts.

      • Frederick

Molyneux is not credible in my opinion I saw a video where he was aghast at someone who was stating the obvious about what really happened on 911 He lost me at that moment and I no longer listen to anything he has to say

        • Jim

Thanks. I guess he is more of a philosopher than an alt media truth teller although he does give a lot of facts on issues and has a huge following. Too bad if he is ignorant on 9/11.

  5. David

Outstanding interview! Thank you again, Greg.

  6. allen ols

I love the cahn. He is correct.

Only a humbled Christ like president, ‘mike pence’ has the right attitude to return America to biblical foundation in this election. hint hint.

    • dotty

Love Mike Pence…he is the best of the bunch.

  7. NH Watcher

Thank you, Greg, for this interview. It is very important to have a diversity of viewpoints of the times we are in, from economists, to politicians, to theologians like Cahn. As I often do with online interviews, I flip through to see where I end up, and at one point, the key phrase which jumped out at me was Cahn saying, “There is no security apart from God.”

This reminds me of Gorbachev being interviewed in the 1990s after the fall of the Soviet Union. He was asked if communism would ever return to Russia; his reply was revealing:

“I do not know, but what I do know is that when pressed, people will give up freedom for security.”

That statement has stayed with me ever since. We see it played out in most any country in chaos or a crisis. In America, we are foolish to believe this could never happen here. We saw a foretaste of martial law in the immediate aftermath of 9-11, when all planes were grounded nationwide, for the sake of security. I am not saying that decision was wrong, but it fits into the notion that our freedoms can and WILL BE compromised, for security. If you were not flying on 9-11, it probably didn’t resonate with you, but if you were traveling from one city to another, and then suddenly ordered to touch down in a city in between, for an undetermined duration, it does give you pause to reflect upon how quickly “freedom” can be curtailed in our present society.

True freedom is, was, and remains only eternal, and is only a gift of God. And so too true security.

IMF teleconference notes from last week. More to come.

The statement that ” The RMB will play a central role in the SDR basket” caught my attention. What exactly does that statement mean? I have always been taught that actions speak louder than words. If that holds true, I would say that with the PBOC opening a Yuan clearing house in New York City on Friday, that the the IMF has specific plans for the future of the dollar. Why is that important? New York City is the financial nerve center for all business that flows through the United States. The Stock Exchange is there. The Federal Reserve Bank is there. The World Trade Center is there. BINGO. Keep an eye on what happens this week. The pace is beginning to pick up.

Do I believe this is IT? Am I making a prediction? NO. This is just the preposition move for “Checkmate”. That will come when the IMF introduces Gold into the SDR basket sometime in the next few weeks. There is a reason why the Chinese have held back on their true gold holdings, and this is it. If the military industrial complex tries to trigger a false flag to start a war, it will happen sooner, so don’t sleep on it.

SDR – The new “Synthetic Reserve Currency”

      • Truth

Your posts have me thinking about the HKD/USD peg. When Brexit happened some thought (as in the below article) that Brexit would delay the yuan’s globalization. Have you come across anything as to how the yuan being added to the SDR on 10/1/16 will affect the Hong Kong dollars peg to the USD?

        • Jerry

I have come to the conclusion that at some point the BRIC nations will break completely from the dollar with their own exchange system with the Yuan. I think they are using the IMF right now as a funneling mechanism to begin the transfer and get their trading platforms in place. Once they are confident that everything is in place, they will play the Gold card and make a call. In the meantime you will see massive amounts of dollars being dumped in order to purchase Panda bonds. The IMF cannot control who countries choose to trade with and what currency they will use. They can the set SDR percentages, but in the end the markets will decide for themselves.

I may want to remind you that the Pound, Yen, and Euro do not have the trade mechanisms in place that the Chinese do. IE AIIB, CIPS, GOLD.

        • Jerry

I don’t think there is any question where this is headed. Check out the recent SWIFT data for trade with the Yuan.

80% of all UAE trade is done in Yuan and October 1st is not even here yet. I thought they were our buddies? It’s like opening a new restaurant in town. Everyone will line up to try it out. The question is, will they come back?

          • Truth

Excellent research…looks like the vassal states are shaking off the chains (smile)…That also explains a lot of the ‘China is about to collapse’ rhetoric…

I have questioned why there was such a push to convince the world that ‘all fiat curriencies’ would collapse in the coming reset…looks like the banksters don’t want folks to find the few available safe havens.

            • Charles H

The US has pushed the WORLD, and mostly the Western ‘vassals’ in a money-printing “race to the bottom” – so Russia and China have had to prepare for a soft-landing. Everyone will be taking a hit in the coming crash. Bravo, Truth.

        • Truth

It is indeed clear that China has a plan…they know the USD won’t survive…How many Americans are even aware? Sad, but true…’as it was in the days of Noah’

    • Greg Hunter

Keep holding your laser on this target. You are spot on and we all thank you!!

    • Dan

I always look forward to your comments. Thanks for your contributions to this site!

      • Jerry

Thank you Dan. I always enjoy your comments to.

The US was probably more God fearing in 1945 than now, yet we had Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Politicians talk it, but don’t walk it. The Deep State doesn’t walk it either.

    • Tin foil hat

Hiroshima and Nagasaki were totally justified which we should never apologize for. I like Japanese since they are the most disciplined and cohesive people I have ever met. However, those qualities also made them monstrous warriors under the Bushido code.
Btw, they haven’t apologized for what they had done in Bataan and Nanking.
You should look at the pictures of both incidents, especially the Rape of Nanking, to get a more balance sense of right and wrong.

      • Tad

What I was trying to convey TF man was, other than rumors that the Japanese were about to surrender, is that apparently little correlation exists between religious values, peace, and utilizing nuclear weapons.

I wasn’t making a statement regarding their justified or unjustified use.

I’m familiar with Bataan and Nanking. I’m also familiar with the US foreign policy and a few hundred thousands souls lost in Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, and Iraq, for starters.

      • Paul Anthony

Since when is the death of innocent people “Justified”?

        • Tin foil hat

          Paul Anthony,
If killing innocent people on the side of our enemy would prevent the killing of innocent people on our side, I’d have no problem bearing the burden of calling those death justifiable.
However, if I’d taken one more innocent life than necessary just because I can or for personal pleasure then I shall burn in hell for eternity.

      • Irice Hogan

        Tin foil hat,
Your comment on the brutality of men reminded me of what I heard today. After all the badgering about not attacking Hillary Donald finally blurted out he couldn’t with Chelsea there in the front row. His daughter Ivonka and Chelsea are great friends, grew up together. I also heard Trump is our last chance to save ourselves. Maybe the Union, but not ourselves. The father thru the son is our only hope! That’s our heavenly father and his only begotten son, the son of God himself! At least I think so, till somebody or something convinces me otherwise? Which I doubt will ever happen of course. But they can try!

      • Charles H

This is a very good, and very true observation.

      • AusKiwi

So two wrongs make a right? Japan committed atrocities so it’s therefore OK for the US to commit an even bigger atrocity? Humanity is sinful and the wages of sin is death. That’s why we have war and death in the world. There’s nothing to be proud of in any of that. Sure, you can drape the stars and stripes over the coffiins, but I am repulsed by those who justify war. Better to make peace and accept our humanity for what it is. Mankind in the twentieth and twenty first centuries have cheapened life to the extent that because we now have seven billion people on the planet, we think it is OK to use technology to massacre millions, on the basis that the human race as a whole will still survive. This is brutalist, anti-human psychology. We forget that God hates violence and stated explicitly that violence was the reason that He flooded the world in Noah’s day. We are fortunate that He promised never to do it again. I suspect that next time He will just allow us to wreak judgement on ourselves. Such is that sad state of humanity in our era. We have the technology to solve so many problems, but the only problem we spend trillions on solving is how to threaten the lives of millions of people in order to control the human population by fear an intimidation. Surely the time for God’s intervention is not far away.

    • Deanna Johnston Clark

Many Japanese soldiers and sailors were afraid to admit their relief when the bombs ended the war. A land invasion of the home islands would have been unimaginably bloody. If you really care, it was the fire bombing of Tokyo that was less necessary and worse. It was due to rebuilding contracts already signed with banks. You are probably young…I grew up the child of a Naval officer in that war. That generation was cynical even though they were proud of serving. They drank and kept their kids up haranguing about banks and the causes of the war.

Why would the government lower the house prices when they have influx of higher property taxes with higher house prices?

  12. Paul ...

The “mystery” of the Shemitah is not all that hard to figure out … it is a consequence of the decreasing moral standards of our society … years ago before the neocons came to power there was “more morality and less greed in the world” … so “only” every 7 years would the evil bankers rake in the cash by manipulating a market crash … today the Lucerferian bankers are so greedy they rake in the cash every 7 days … and it is getting so bad that the “more evil ones” are raking in the cash every 7 minutes (with their high speed programed trading) … soon we will have a Shemitah every 7 seconds (as that is how long it will take for the neocons to steal us completely naked and re-set their guillotines)!

    • Paul ...

A quick calculation shows the neocons will only need 4000 guillotines to kill 320 million Americans in 7 days (at a rate of one American every 7 seconds)!

      • Paul ...

God created the word in 6 days and rested on the 7th … so the neocons (trying to imitate God) love to use the number 7 but will likely try to destroy our world in less then 6 days to show they are better then God … they pretend “they are doing God’s work” … but we all know how they lie (look at Hillary) … once they create nuclear Armageddon by starting a war with Russia and China and destroy our world in just 3 days they will walk around with a big proud smile on their faces boasting that they are “better then God” because they accomplished the destruction of the world in only 3 days when it took God 6 days to create it …

I love Johnathan Cahn! Thank you Greg for a timely interview, and thank you for introducing me to Johnathan. He really summed it up!!! It is really all about turning back to God and his Son, the mighty hope of all ! God Bless you Greg, and all those who love God! Jesus is our true love, and He is mighty to save us poor sinners.

There will be no recovery for the allies, not until Jesus returns. America, Britain and israel will all fall at the same time. Race wars are about to explode in America, Ezekiel said a 3rd of America will die from race wars, black lives matters want a race war and there going to get it, Once this happens and America is so weak internally then the European union will attack. Satan is behind it all, race wars, no leaders, gay marriage, financial chaos. Satan hates America because they are Gods chosen people along with Britain, israel, Canada, Aus, NZ, Fiji etc. The allies will be great again but were are at the most dangerous times of recorded history.

I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.(Rev. 2:9-KJV)
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:13-KJV)
For he is not a jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh; But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and the circumcision is that of the heart…(Romans 2:28-KJV)
The United States has been blessed because of the true Christians that are here and praying for it. With inter marriage through the last 2,000 years, the chances of me (and Irish American) being a physical jew are equal to a supposed “jew” living in Jerusalem.

      • Colin

Thank you Celia! More “Christians” especially in ‘Merika need to realize this!

      • Billy

        Hi Celia,
I don’t agree that the jews in Israel are Gentiles. The Gentiles are foreign countries like china, russia, european union and Iran. God foretold that the Gentiles would rise in power and the Allies US, Britain, Israel,Can, Aus, NZ, Fiji, Samoa would fade in power, that is happening right now- anyone can see that.
We are decendents from the seed of Abraham, God mad a promise that to Abraham because he behaved that he would make you will be a father of many nations, thats while the allies have been so blessed not because of something we did, but because Abraham was obedient and we are seeds of this. Now we are cursed for our disobedience. We are the modern nations of Abrahams seed, the allies, US,Britain,Can, Israel, Aus,NZ,SA,Fiji etc we are the lost tribes they moved many years ago jusy like how ancient Assyria is now modern Germany, they relocated.
Don’t trust me, straight satisfy yourself of the truth and read the bible, i am just man.
Ezekiel was a prophet for today, just like Daniel, Isaiah and Jeremiah, some of the there prophcies are very scary, and Jesus said i did not come to do away with the prophets and every word will happen.

Great guest, Greg! Thanks for having him on; he is a “voice in the wilderness” calling the US to repent; I sure hope we are listening… Spiritual warfare is no small thing, and understanding the Word of God is imperative these days as the tower of Baal rises again.

  17. Bob

Very thought provoking interview today. I too believe there is a force in life greater than man/woman and that is the hand of God.
We are tested individually and as a nation having been given the gift of free-will. Our main purpose in life is NOT the accumulation of wealth or domination through power. Our prime purpose in life is to come to know God and this is achieved, I believe by recognizing and overcoming all the temptations that are presented to us in our life as an individual or as a nation. As a nation the USA had a Constitution that sets out a path, that if followed, will keep us progressing in the right direction. Personally, we are given the 10 Commandments which likewise will keep us on the right path if followed.
I appreciate your regular sign off to trust in God as this constant reminder we need to keep us on the so called straight and narrow. Over the years, especially since 9/11 it feels like we have lost our way: never-ending wars, unpunished financial greed, erosion of all things moral and the loss of all ‘investigative journalism’ in the main stream. Thank ‘God’ for your website and similar sites that seek to find the truth.
Years ago I was in sales and my assurance to all my clients is that I would never knowingly ‘lie’ to them because based on a lie wrong actions are taken. So – as long as I told the truth ( status of orders, back orders etc – then the client could take proper corrective action ) Without the truth the path is false.
In this election cycle it would seem that Mrs Clinton had been exposed as possibly the worst liar the country has ever produced in the political area. She seems incapable of telling the truth even when there is no reason to lie ! That sure isn’t any way to run a country ! People die as unjust wars are fought !
Finally, related to today’s video : it is interesting to note that the Statue of Liberty is modelled on the Goddess ‘ Isis’ – that is freaky !
There is a lot of very good research on the web that explains the real meaning behind what this Statue truly represents !
Can start search here to see what is available :
The Statue of Liberty (Isis) – › statue-of-liberty
Thank you for all your wonderful work Greg, and may God bless you and your important work !

It would seem that God has held His breath these last 8 years and let us see the path that lies before us. If the American people vote to walk in this same way He will begin to deal with us for the sake of righteousness, because He is exalted in judgment.
He is saying “amend your ways” (make them beautiful) and He wants to hear us say “I have sinned and perverted what is right, and it didn’t do me any good – it was worthless”. It’s then He will move in to “deliver him so his life shall see light”. But if we say, “God depart(!) you can’t do anything for us” and walk the way people walked before the flood, we will be consumed in God’s anger.
The choice before us is quintessentially one of free will, and each comes with a promise.

  20. DLC

Greg, had to laugh at your question to J. Cahn . I was wondering the same thing at the same time. It reminded me of a remark made by W. C. Fields in regard to something about tapping into all manner of beliefs and prayers in order to “cover all the loopholes.”

Like you, I was thinking about exemptions for some of us as opposed to mass condemnation. Also, my Catholic guilt kicked in simultaneously, that little voice that said “what makes you an example for an exemption.” There was also a bit of my Irish half that forever looks for humor in the midst of grim prospects, if only gallows humor.

Remember how Mayor Guiliani cleaned up New York and made it safe for the citizenry? Then, NYC decided to dance around the golden calf and make all that was right about the city a progressive PC no-no. Sanity and sanctity went out the window. The people themselves elected this change.

I agree that Trump is the only logical choice at this time. However, in the last few years the people saw fit to retain every politician who caused the nation’s crack-up, McCain being the latest example. His opponent was a good christian conservative who would have interfaced perfectly with Trump’s outlook and plans.

The people do have power, God given, but continually opt for very obvious hustlers like the Clintons and Obamas, and then re-elect the very enablers and supporters of the Clintons and Obamas.

Electing Trump is just the cover charge. The people need to grow up, clean up, and get serious or we are done. One man cannot save people from their own self-destructive tendencies.

    • Paul ...

I’m not so sure the people voted “Christian head chopping” McCain into office … just like with Bernie Sanders … McCain’s opponent may have actually won the election before the vote tally’s were “fixed” in McCain’s favor!!

Have any of you watchdoggers heard of Kurt Sonnenfeld? He is living in Argentina and claims the precious metals vaults beneath the trade center was looted BEFORE the 911 attacks Interesting right?

The neocons not only stole a trillion dollars of gold bullion but a trillion dollars of Treasury Bearer Bonds and a trillion dollars in diamonds … why do you think the neocons made sure the beams of steel melted into molten metal (like in a crucible in a steel mill) for more then three days (even car and bus engines near the towers melted to liquid) … the neocons needed to cover up their massive theft … and remember airplane fuel does not burn hot enough to melt steel … put a butter knife in the gas flame of your stove … it will not melt … it will not even get soft … yet some kerosene burning on two foot thick steel I-beams made them all buckle and collapse into iron dust??? … and that jet engine found below the towers was never ever used by airlines in their passenger planes … it was likely trucked in and dropped of at the scene of the crime! … these neocons are a bunch of greed driven imbeciles … and Hillary is no different … you Democrats that vote for these criminals are either imbeciles yourselves or just as evil and crooked that you want one of your kind (a Satanist) as your leader!!

  22. Mark

    Dear Greg,
I am writing to request that you please allow me space to post a comment in response to what Charles H. wrote regarding my comment on your Weekly News wrap up for 9-23-2016 (WNW 255).
Charles, when I read your response to my comment posted on Greg’s WNW 255, I was shockingly alarmed at not only the hostility of your tone, but the total lack of responsibility you chose to exercise before deciding to post your critique of my use of the Scriptures.
I was indeed perplexed to say the least Charles, but then it occurred to me that you must have confused me with another participant whose name also happens to be Mark, whose original post was supportive of the JW cult, yet lacked any reference to Scripture and was posted after Greg’s most recent interview with Dr. Paul Craig Roberts.
In what I now believe to be a case of mistaken identity, you claimed in your post to me that ” I am back to mollify the sharply- challenged comments of the last page postings by really writing up a storm of ‘bible-icity’ going for that ‘ I- really- know -my- Bible- as- good- as- anyone- else- or- even- better- impression’ ” when in reality, I am only seeking to do in a responsible manner exactly what Greg said he approves of and wrote in his original response to Mark when he posted: ” if you wish to quote the Bible please do. Do not inject JW teachings here when you do so.”
Accordingly, Charles, since we are speaking of the testimony of Christ as preserved in and conveyed through the Holy Scriptures, I must address the way you took me to task for changing the inspired word of the Scriptures by using the word “creation” in my quotation of 2 Cor. 5:17, which in the original Greek is the noun “ktisis” (creature, creation) and used here in its nominative, singular and feminine form, the translation of which as “creation” being perfectly legitimate according to well respected translators and expositors of the Scriptures including James Strong, (Strong’s Concordance) #2937, Moulton-Milligan 362, Walter Bauer, 455-456, and rendered accordingly in respectable versions such as: the NKJV (1982), Darby Translation, by JN Darby, Moffat NT, by James Moffat, Epistles of Paul by WJ Conybeare, the Concordant Literal NT by A. E. Knoch, The Centenary Translation by Helen Barrett Montgomery and The NT: A New Translation by Olaf M. Norlie). Compare also to Galatians 6:15.
Furthermore, in your original post you criticized the Jehovah Witness for holding the teaching that “the Holy Spirit is only a power or influence-which again allows for illegitimate substitution” rather than being “the third Person of God-Who witnesses with our spirit what is His Word and what is Truth”, yet you rebuked me and told me to “GIVE IT A REST” for QUOTING the apostle Paul’s own Holy Spirit inspired words found in Romans 8:15 (Gk., pneuma huiothesias, Spirit of adoption , sonship- i.e., placement as full sons, Kenneth Wuest) and Gal.4:6 ( Gk.,pneuma tou huiou, Spirit of His Son) when I made reference to our having received the Spirit of His Son (much more than just a “power” or “influence”) sent forth into our hearts crying “Abba Daddy” through “regeneration” or the spiritual birth from above (John 3:3-6) by incorruptible seed through the living and abiding Word of God (1 Peter 1:23, Gk., anagegennemenoi, having been begotten again).
Charles, I surely agree that any translator or expositor of the Scriptures must exercise great care in handling the Scriptures for the sake preserving the original thought of the Holy Spirit as penned by the inspired writers when any attempt is made to communicate the Holy Spirit inspired truth of the Word of God in a form of language which is understandable by inhabitants of today’s contemporary society without compromising in any way shape or form the purity of the truth of the testimony conveyed thereby. As Paul told Timothy, his young co-worker in the faith, “You therefore, my child, be empowered in the grace which is in Christ Jesus; and the things which you have heard from me through many witnesses (not JW), THESE COMMIT TO FAITHFUL MEN WHO WILL BE COMPETENT TO TEACH OTHERS ALSO.” (2 Tim 2:1-2).
Charles, far from the notion that I am here expressing an “illegitimate concatenation of verses that don’t go together (typical JW m.o.)” , as you contend, I stand by my comment as originally posted and urge you for the sake of your own credibility and even beg you as a brother in Christ to please post your comments in a more responsible manner, which adds significant value to this site not only in Greg’s judgment, but in the judgment of all who come here to read and post. So to you Charles I say, as I do to all who come here to read and post: “the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be richly with your spirit”( Gal. 6:18, 1 Cor. 6:17) because “God in Christ was reconciling the world to Himself, not accounting their offenses to them and has put in us the word of reconciliation. On behalf of Christ then we are ambassadors, as God entreats you (whosoever will) through us; we beseech you on behalf of Christ, Be reconciled to God” 2 Cor. 5;19-20) For “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sober mind” (2 Tim.1:7)

    • Charles H

I suspect we two are opposites. Even though we both identify with the same belief, that is Christianity: fundamentally and characteristically – we are different as Day is to Night. Take your above reply – even though you concluded correctly that I mistook your identity (and I apologized for) – you not only took offense big-time, but wasted no time to splash your grievance from the back-page of another interview section to the fresh front-page right above. And I had no view to reply after my apology, until I read your disparaging or discrediting reply above. I, in turn, decided to purposely wait and think through our interaction. (Another post will probably be up before this gets read.) I customarily genuflect on the material of comments; whereas, you have above questioned my integrity. So I connected the dots: and realize that you are a real scholar-type, and probably well placed; while I am only an ordained bumpkin with a Bachelor’s of a missionary. I mistook WHO you were in terms of identity: but not in terms of who you are in character. I actually nailed it: you ARE a “I-really-know-my bible-as-good-as anyone-else-or even-better” type. This was the rub, and the reason to slam the door hard on me. You state above that I show ‘a total lack of responsibility… in my critique of your use of the scriptures”: and I submit that this is the very reason for discrediting me in your comment. Let me address this.
I, as well as anyone else who reads your writing has the right to critique your use of the Scriptures. If you don’t want to be questioned about it: then don’t volunteer the material. I find that such a stance of absolute immunity to being questioned reveals either underlying insecurity; or a perceived position of such expertise that only allows like-qualified peers to be given a ‘say so’. How am I doing, Mark? ARE you a published author, with eminence of committees, or occupy a chair somewhere? Is this why I can’t be a responsible person in questioning you? Or are you just a regular bumpkin like myself?
Mark, could you please explain the following in layman’s terms?: “any translator or expositor of the Scriptures must exercise great care in handling the Scriptures for the sake preserving the original thought of the Holy Spirit as penned by the inspired writers when any attempt is made to communicate the Holy Spirit inspired truth of the Word of God in a form of language which is understandable by inhabitants of today’s contemporary society without compromising in any way shape or form the purity of the truth of the testimony conveyed thereby. ” I can extract some KEY words or phrases that illustrate the real difference between us. Those would be “handling the Scriptures”; “preserving the original thought”; and “communicate… in a form of language which is understandable by inhabitants of today’s contemporary society”. Man, that is some stratospheric stuff! But let me cut to the chase and boil it down for the readers here: you don’t believe we (inhabitants of today’s contemporary society) have God’s Word in a perfect, final (English – KJV) form – do you? This is the very core difference between us: because I DO.
I copy from above your use of reference: “inspired words found in Romans 8:15 (Gk., pneuma huiothesias, Spirit of adoption , sonship- i.e., placement as full sons, Kenneth Wuest) and Gal.4:6 ( Gk.,pneuma tou huiou, Spirit of His Son) when I made reference to our having received the Spirit of His Son”. Such detailed and scholarly work belies serious study in the “original languages”, and doubtless involves ancient manuscripts and materials. No wonder you would feel I am irresponsible in making a critique of your use of the scriptures; who could question such expertise? In fact, Mark: what is your position on “Higher Criticism”? You DO believe that your study and expertise gives you the knowledge to derive the REAL sense, or true meaning of ‘contemporary’ scripture based on “original languages” and “historical content”, don’t you?
Well, I’ll finish my point and conclude. Those who embrace such pursuits cannot place their faith IN finality of God’s Word, but in their learning OF it. The issue here is (and has always been) AUTHORITY: the difference between Divine, and human authority. I contend that there is an authoritative and final form of God’s Word in the “contemporary languages”; and others contend that THAT form of Truth can only be derived by knowledge of the ‘originals’. My position draws me under the authority of the ‘contemporary’ written Word of the Bible (KJV); the other allows them to reserve unto themselves to declare what is God’s Word and what it really means. One submits to Divine Authority; and the other reserves authority to human, scholarly achievement. One credits Almighty God with the purpose and power to produce a perfect work (“For the word of the Lord is right, and all his works are done in truth.” Ps. 33:4.) in our (contemporary, English) language; and others disbelieve this. Is this the source of your inscrutable use of the scriptures, Mark?
I contend that – a KJV Bible, with a Webster’s dictionary, a concordance, and prayer – will conduce readers/believers to understand more, arrive at straight and sound doctrine, and have a greater, unshakable foundation of confidence in their faith than any academic. No one can convince me that God would put His Truth out of the reach of normal, read-and-write capacity; OR fail to deliver it in perfect form through history and languages.
Those who subscribe to Higher Criticism are no doubt well learned and highly educated: but their backward-looking view of authority undermines the conditions of faith for everybody but themselves. Worse is that they self-assume authority over the Word of God itself, and become the (self-asserting) arbiters of Truth. And I fear that this cadre of persons serve as modern-day Pharisees, and have played a key role in the Apostasy now beset upon us in this time.
Yes, Mark – I suspect there is a VERY large difference between us. And I don’t know if or where you may fit-in to what I’ve described in this comment: but if the shoe fits – wear it. If not. take it with a grain of salt.
Also, I would say that you are way out-of-line to be speaking for Greg Hunter and the rest of the USAWatchdog contributors in your comment above. (“…not only in Greg’s judgment, but in the judgment of all who come here to read and post.”)
And please, brother – if you feel you must respond to this comment: before you directly attack my character – DO RESPOND to the QUESTIONS above. Write back to ME, and respond to my comment – not making a great cry and appeal to the public: which serves as a measure of intimidation. I can think, and I can answer for myself. Let us know who you are; and above all – the criteria of WHY you believe my critique of your use of Scriptures is irresponsible. May the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you also, brother. CH

  23. Mark

    Hi Greg,
Of all the mysteries, the greatest of these is the “mystery of godliness” which is that “God was manifested in the flesh” and the “mystery of Christ” which is His body and of which mysteries Paul was made and considered himself a steward, having become a “minister according to the gift of the grace of God which was given to me according to the operation of His power. To me, less than the least of all saints, was this grace given to preach to the nations the unsearchable riches of Christ as the gospel and to enlighten all that they may see what the economy (administration) of the mystery is which throughout the ages has been hidden in God, who created all things, in order that now to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenlies the multifarious wisdom of God might be made known through the church, according to the eternal purpose which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord, in Whom we have access and boldness through the faith(fullness) of Him. Therefore I ask you not to faint at my afflictions for your sake, since they are your glory” (Eph.3:7-13). So to you Greg I say, and to all who by faith receive the testimony which God has testified concerning His Son and come here to read and post, “the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be richly with your spirit”. For “God has not given to us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sober mind” (2 Tim. 1:7).
p.s. I am reminded of Christine Lagarde’s widely published comment regarding the number seven at the opening of one of her speeches when Jonathan mentioned the mystery of sevens.

    • Greg Hunter

Hey folks this is not the “JW” Mark. Mark, I am happy you are here. Sorry some folks got you confused.

      • Mark

I too can confess that this Mark is not the same as this Mark. Have peace brother and be confident …NO true Jehovah Witness would post on this site. If you doubt me you do not know JWs like you think you do. Continue on with your platitudes and delicious connecting words. I don’t think it makes for good preaching, but it sounds like it does. By the way, just what is a “cult” and why do people on this site say that JWs are one. Sounds bad, is it?

        • Robert Lykens

A cult is identified by what it says about Jesus. A cult will deny his deity, the virgin birth, the Trinity, his sacrifice.

        • mark

          Hi Mark,
In answer to your question, I would say that a cult is any group of persons whose association is centered around one or more than one predominant individual(s) whose ideas control the thinking of the entire group with dissension being strictly forbidden whether in thought, word or deed, the consequences of which range from anything as mild as some form of disciplinary action to shunning to total abandonment by the other members of the group resulting in total isolation and in some cases impoverishment and even loss of life. Fear of retribution thus becomes a strong factor which motivates the quenching of all dissenting thought. History is replete with examples of individuals who associated themselves around a central controlling figure and names such as Charles Manson, Jim Jones, and David Koresh come to mind because of the tragic nature of events associated with them. However, cultic or cult like associations can be found throughout society, not just organizations of a religious, or spiritual type. For example we can see in today’s modern society with the merger of corporately owned media together with governmental officialdom an environment developing where those who dissent from the “official made-for-public-consumption- narrative” are oftentimes treated with retribution which is sudden, severe and sustained. Basically, any organization or association of individuals which pressures you to “check your brain at the door because you won’t be needing that to ‘think for yourself’ “, as Gerald Celente would say, is something that should cause concern for any thinking person who wants to avoid being used and abused by someone who asserts themselves as a contrived, not real, position of authority over those who are so duly associated. Now with respect to the Jehovah Witness organization, I would say that the reason they are classified as a cult is not only are their members discouraged from reading or teaching from study materials other than their own, but additionally there is a use of deception to present themselves as something to others which they are not. For example, with respect to the “Faith once delivered to the saints”,(Jude 3) you may find some adherents of the organization who carry and even quote from the Authorized King James Version of the Bible, but they hold and propagate a teaching concerning the Lord Jesus Christ which is contrary to the testimony which God has testified concerning His Son and which is preserved in the sacred Scriptures by instead holding a view which denies the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ as being God manifested in the flesh and publish an altered edition of the “scriptures” to reflect their denial accordingly. ( See John 1:1 as an example of their twisting where they say: “in the beginning was the Word and the Word was ‘a god’, not “God”). The result of their denial turns the prospect of receiving eternal life in and through the Person of the Son of God by the Spirit of His Son sent forth into our hearts crying ‘Abba Father!’ (Rom. 8:16, Gal. 4:6) and an inheritance in the eternal glory of the Firstborn Son of God as His many brothers of Whom He is not ashamed (Heb.2:11) from being a gift which is received individually by faith in the once for all shed blood of the Son of God given for the sins of the world with opportunity given for all to receive, into a kind of future existence based on one’s merit (works) where only a select few (144,000) actually get to inhabit “heaven” while a larger percentage get to inhabit a restored earth or “paradise” with the remainder, who fail to make the other two classes of existence, entering into a kind of “soul sleep” or lack of consciousness, rather than suffer the fiery torments of judgment in the Lake of Fire after perishing in Hell because of their refusal to receive the gift of righteousness which God has so graciously offered through sacrificial death of His Only Begotten Son, His Beloved, Whose spotless Blood is the only “means of payment” if you will, which can purchase the souls of men back from under the condemnation of sin who are cursed because of the righteous requirement of the law and enter by faith into a new sphere of existence where a new law, which is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus (Rom.8:1-2) becomes operative thus delivering one’s soul from death and the fear thereof making him a “new creature (creation)” (2 Cor.5:17) in Christ Jesus and a living member of Christ’s very own Body of which He Himself is the Head, being joined to Him as one spirit.(1Cor.6:17). So that is why I say to you Mark as I do to all who come here to read and post and who receive the testimony that God has testified of His Son, the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be richly with your spirit (Gal.6:18) For “God has not given to us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sober mind” (2Tim 1:7)

    • aussie jeff

Hi Mark, appreciated reading your posts and was encouraged by the public testimony of your faith.

      • mark

Thank you Jeff for your kind words. Charles H. did write an apology which can be found in the comments of the previous show, as he now realizes that I was not the other poster named Mark that he had responding to in an earlier exchange. The fact that Mark and I posted under the same name together with the fact my Scripture quotations were not from the Authorized (King James) Version, led Charles to believe that I was the other Mark. I understand his expressed concern with the proliferation of corrupted so- called “translations” which are used to propagate false teaching particularly with respect to the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, and salvation by grace through faith alone in His once-for-all redemptive blood sacrifice and in fact was reminded of a book I once heard of called “New Age Translations” by Gail Riplinger (if I recall correctly) which details the corruption of Scriptural truth found in some modern translations. Like with anything we are responsible to do our due diligence. But I for one am absolutely thankful to the Lord for His merciful kindness and faithfulness in finding me as a very, very, lost individual and who was among those who, as the Scriptures say: ” were at that time apart from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world, but now in Christ Jesus, you who were once far off, have become near in the blood of Christ” (Eph. 2:12-13). That is why Jeff I say to you and to all who come here to read and post and who receive the testimony which God has testified concerning His Son, ” the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be richly with your spirit.” For “God has not given to us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sober mind” (2 Tim. 1:7).

You proficiency with any weapon is determined largely by your training and practice. Its how you increase your ability and accuracy or keep it from degrading over time from non-use. If you really want to be exceptional, you must practice (shoot) that much more. How much more? Maintenance is 1,000 rounds a month.

If you want to be a top competitive shooter at timed regional events ( outdoor course of fire), plan on 4,000-5,000 rounds a month. Otherwise, you won’t get up into the upper ninety percents at your matches. There are no shortcuts. If you want to fully develop your instincts, it takes 10,000 rounds a year and more. Consider it a long journey to mastery and make it a lifestyle. It will take that long and few actually do.

      • Shadow of Doubt

Granted, shooting is a perishable skill, but “dry fire” practice with its numerous non-fire activities have been successfully used by our military and Olympic sharp shooter competitors to reduce the number of rounds needed to hone one’s competitive skills. These exercises are also great for refining many overlooked micro-skills in shooting and combat. It’s no shortcut, but you can save thousands in ammunition costs.

  24. HankH

I’ve read both of Cahn’s 1st two books & find them very insightful.
I’m surprised he didn’t mention that the Jubilee year (a reset, a new beginning) ends next Sunday as Oct 02 begins the new year (Rosh Hashanah)….interesting that many world-wide events have taken place recently and will this week as well ie, the Chinese inclusion into the SDR, etc. Other possibilities to look for include an escalation in Syria, possible bank default, general calamity, etc.

So for us, we should be ready, watchful and prayed up.

  25. Robert Lykens

Fantastic, relevant interview. Some people will see and accept, some will deny and turn away.
The spirit of wisdom and revelation which is given to Rabbi Cahn is so obviously from God that to deny it is a sin.
I know for myself that just listening to this one interview – even before reading the book – I hear the call to repentance and to move closer to God.
Thank you Greg, and thank you Rabbi Cahn.

I am always in awe of how Rabbi Cahn can connect so many dots. Amazing! So glad you had him back, Greg!

Good day Greg…Great article …….Greg you didn’t ask Jonathan Cahn about Sunday 10-02-2016, the beginning of Rosh Hashanah ..Jewish New year, when the global world currency resets and the crash of the dollar !!!

  28. Mike R

I was in the middle of typing my most profound post ever here on USAWD, and the NSA shut my internet service off. Needless to say I will not be re-typing it, but the gist of it was that Hillary has the contest rigged, that the oligarchs in power, will do everything to put her in, and Trump has less than a 1 percent chance of winning, due to how strongly they have the machinery rigged on Clinton’s side. Just think Daley here in my own Chicago (Im in the ‘burbs’) and the decades of power, and in excess of 70% of the votes, term after term if you want to understand how rigged the system is. This is why Hillary is saying ‘why am I not winning by 50 points ?’ The house of cards is our federal government folks, followed closely by the state governments. I know, it sounds hopeless, and bleak, but you are very much a polly-ana if you think Trump has a chance. This website is about ‘hope’, but at the end of the day, the oligarchs and foreign interests have crushed all means for hope. Trump is a Clinton operative. Watch the debates, and watch how the media throws it Clintons way. He’ll profit immensely, as Clinton will guarantee that, once in office, and he’ll get the sweetest real estate deals ever. He has NO desire to be in government. He’s just having fun, stirring up the pot, and suckering people into believing he is against the elitists, and the established cronyism, and is simply playing us all for fools. Its all a big game show for him. He’s probably in shock that he is ‘neck and neck’ in the polls, bc he too never realized how desperate the population is, to get rid of all of the corruption. He just thought he’d throw up all that sort of populist ‘sh*T’ to see what stuck against the wall, all the while knowing he was one of Clinton’s stooges to upset the other party. Well he did that, but now he’s got to keep playing the part, probably far longer than anyone imagined. Its not even worth it to watch the debates. MSM will proclaim Hillary the winner by a landslide even if all she did was pick her nose, spit spewtum into a cup, bobbled her head, bugged out her eyeballs, and coughed for 90 minutes.

    • Arthur Barnes

Mike R – I also have thought about Hillary & her elite friends rigging the election for her & believe as you do the fix is in. To think otherwise is to deny the history of the Clinton’s, each scandal, lie, and filthy deal they make finds them richer and more powerful than the last. There is nothing they won’t do or say, they are morally corrupt, and have a lot of markers they can & will call in. The Demogods with the support of the Republicats are going out of their way to rig this election in her favor. So, Mike R I agree with you, my rational mind says its not so, but my gut says otherwise, and I trust my gut when all things otherwise are equal.

    • FC

That’s the way I see this being done also Mick R, it’s not what I would like to see, but Hillary has been shield and protected from every scandal that she has ever been involved in and to be pitted at the post by Trump, from being America’s first female President, in an honestly held Federal Election, is never going to happen.

Mohammad: A lower house price does not guarantee lower taxes. I was at the assessor’s office recently and was told lower housing costs would be compensated for by higher tax rates. Either way, you pay.

I did manage to get a permanent tax freeze on my home though, which is offered at age 65 if a homeowner is under a certain income. I only had to submit a 3-year proof of total income, and only need to prove same every 3 years going forward. One might check with their assessor to see if this is offered in their county.

YES, YES,YES! THANK YOU GREG for one of the best Watchdog segments. Without putting together God and current happenings, it doesn’t make sense. Rabbi Cahn is a true scholar..I could watch him for hours.

We can all change things on the inside and outside that reflect our faith. Recently RuPaul was on Drudge and I was struck by how feminine his fashions are as opposed to the walkway trash by big name coutriers. It is pretty bad when ladies need a wakeup call from RuPaul. Oxfarmers have shopped on line for years so our girls look like ladies. Daily Bible devotions and prayers. Family, famiily, family, and ‘strays’. Family meals. Stay out of debt, be careful where you spend, bc you are supporting a good or bad business.

But, Greg, we have been provided for, but not spared. We are in deep drought and in danger of losing fruit trees. It should be prime time for nuts, wild grapes…none. It is a Habbakkuk time.

Thanks for the nice note you wrote in response to our gift. Ya didn’t hafta do that. We are proud to be Watchdoggers. Thanks again, Greg!

    • Greg Hunter

      Thank you O F !!!!

    • Mike R

speaking of family meals, its hard to believe all of the people who eat out 2 to 5 times a week around here. The restaurants are all packed. And neighbors seem to be eating out a lot. Where do people get that kind of money ? I can’t think of a more expensive way to ingest food, and probably no other way of sucking in more calories, than by frequent eating out. Portions are huge, and quality is just not that good, unless you like your food doused in salt. or sodium. It coincides with the number of people I see everywhere who are just flat out over-weight. By a lot.

  31. DLC

I caught this on X22 Report in regard to Big Pharma and Big Medicine. I agree with this woman totally. A lot of people sold their souls to Obama for “health” care that is anything but, and now everyone pays in outrageous fashion.

I am not opposed to seeking treatment, just do not believe in fixing what ain’t broke, taking medications, endless tests and vaccinations, etc. I have seen this approach destroy family who got sucked into that vortex.

You were sold a lie and voted in a monster over that lie. You also got suckered into paying the bill for all the month-by-month invaders, like the ones who shoot up the malls.

And as to medical privacy, are you aware that your records leave the hospital moments after an encounter? They route your particulars to peoples’ homes to be processed, containing all your personal info right down to your SS number.

You may as well go to the hospital buck naked. Your every wart, physical and emotional, is on parade somewhere out there on main street. Oh, those processors make an on-line privacy pledge each year. Feel better now?

To go to gov’t for something so intimate as your personal health provided gov’t a blunt instrument like no other. Can you imagine Clinton or Kaine using this socialized, soon to be mandatory scam (like vaccinations) to corral us? I can.

great video – thanks … I grew up working at a natural foods whse in late 80’s, from an Italian Catholic background, learning and un-learning many things on food/nutrition. Carl Jung has a saying that seems to apply to this Brandy Vaughn talk – “in the intensity of the emotional disturbance lies the value, the energy which one should have at their deepest disposal in order to remedy the state of reduced adaptation” – that/thus, a former ex-drug seller (to Doctors/hospitals), possesses the pivotal energy shift that can go from being a drone/sheeple in a system, to being an advocate for waking up to it ~

Mr. “Peace Prize” sure is going full throttle to start something, anything to change what? Election outcome? Manufacture a crisis to create what opportunity?

Are we still so gullible after 7 years of treasonous ploys?

    • 8Ball

Yes, the hypocrisy of the American puppet regime is quite absurd. Who is going to decide that “regime change” is needed in the USA? That day is drawing closer.

      • Paul ...

Those of us with a brain will effect regime change this November by removing [puppet Hillary] who stated in her own words: “It is nice to know the Council on Foreign Relations (the globalists) have set up an office just a few blocks from the White House so I can come over and you can tell me what to do”!!

Just curious Greg , does Cahn live in America or Israel? I was reading another blog about
a month ago and they stated that Jesus has returned and has quietly made himself known to high ranking Rabis’ in Israel.

(My view) But the rest of us mere mortals won’t find out about his return until armageddon.

    Great interview again Greg

Cahn is just one of many who claims to have interpreted some hidden biblical code that predicts the future… and tries to cash in on his “revelations”.

For those to busy to catch the Trump/Hillary Debate Monday night … here is a brief summary of what I think will most likely transpire:

Trump: I hope you are felling better tonight Hillary.
Hillary: Don’t give me that sexist talk.
Trump: I was only asking how you were.
Hillary: I don’t need some racist lacking temperament and judgement trying to insinuate I’m sick.
Trump: I wasn’t trying to imply anything … I was just concerned because of your recent health problems.
Hillary: You liar … you and your supporters are a bunch of deplorables.
Trump: Why all the name calling when I was just trying to be nice?
Hillary: Because your attitude is dangerous, sexist and demagogic!
Trump: Alright bitch … I hope you choke, faint and fall off the podium!
Hillary: See women … take note … he does hate us … and you Mr Trump are also Islamophobic!
Trump: All I want is protect American women and children from being blown up by ISIS terrorist bombs!
Hillary: Their you go again recklessly using the word “bomb” … and accusing the Islamic Religion of being evil!
Trump: I didn’t accuse the Islamic Religion of anything … all I want to do is protect American lives from the 852 ISIS terrorists you Democrats recently give American citizenship to!
Hillary: You are simply a dangerous unpredictable sexist and racist that lacks the judgement or temperament to be President.
Trump: And you are not dangerous and unpredictable? Didn’t you send hundreds of barrels of Saran Gas to ISIS to kill women and children to advance your political objective of removing Assad?
Hillary: I don’t remember doing any such thing and if that happened it was a mistake!
Trump: But you are bringing ISIS terrorists here to America!
Hillary: All the new Democratic voters I support bringing here are not terrorists and we all should help them by putting them on food stamps and educating them.
Trump: Are you going to raise school taxes on Republican homeowners to educate all these new immigrants?
Hillary: It is a small price to pay to help people and create New Democratic voters.
Trump: The way your Charity helped people in Haiti by keeping 98 cents out of each dollar you collected!
Hillary: We do have expenses you know!
Trump: But you only gave Haiti 2 cents on every dollar you collected!
Hillary: Don’t you believe in Capitalism or are you some sort of Commie!
Trump: I thought you wrote your thesis based upon an avowed Communist?
Hillary: Stop the name calling you dangerous bombastic Hitler!
Trump: I’m not the one who used an unsecured server that got Americans killed?
Hillary: The FBI cleared me of all wrong doing!
Trump: So any means justifies the end … even to the extent of killing women and children?
Hitlery: I don’t remember shipping poison gas to kill women and children … and as I said before if it happened it was a mistake … I was not responsible you bombastic women hater!
Trump: What is with all the name calling?
Hillary: What name calling? I’m just presenting the facts you dangerous unpredictable racist who hates Islam and women … it is sexists like you who lack good judgement and the temperament to be President … it is really just deplorable … only I have the wisdom to do things right … do you think I bring ISIS terrorists here to America to chop off the heads of grandmothers! … I helped to provide Obamacare for the benefit of all Americans … who incidentally now don’t have any medical bills to pay if they work 29 hours per week … I am always working to prevent the unnecessary death of women and children … but of course abortion is a different story)!

Greg I posted a much longer story on your Facebook page about a man who I worked with who went to prison. His crime, rescuing a child from a child abuser. That’s right he was not the abuser but the one who rescued her. The government truly worships Baal. How can God not bring judgement to a nation this perverted? If the foundations are destroyed what can the righteous do?

    • Paul ...

I bet if the man who rescued the child brought the kid to play under the “arch” at McDonald’s the Government would have dropped all charges!

  38. Rudy Purvis

In less than seven weeks the most important political election America has ever faced, by far, will be here!

The future of our great country hangs in the balance. The essential question for we the people to answer is whether or not we wish to continue our drift into socialism, so carefully advanced by President Obama and his Administration and sure to be carried on by Hillary Clinton or whether or not we want to begin the return, THE CHANGE BACK to the America of old, traditional America built on capitalism. Less or more government. More or less government control over our lives. The full protection of our Constitutional Rights or the continuing watering down, evisceration of those rights, and so many others. How will you vote, my fellow American. HOW will you vote and for whom? That vote of yours will clearly define who you are and what you believe now more than ever.
THE FIRST AMENDMENT: RELIGIOUS FREEDOMS AND LIBERTIES. That is what most here believe is ISSUE ONE, except for a few religious zealots who seem to want to police Greg’s site and hold him hostage to doctrinal bickering. Thus taking away the positive message of the Bible as the only true hope of humankind and the freedoms granted to we the people by the First Amendment including Freedom of Religion, of Press, of Assembly and of course SPEECH, including religious speech are the highest and best freedoms of any free man or woman. All unbelievably are under attack, even here. All religions and especially Christianity are indeed attacked from every side. Freedom of Speech without qualification, including so-called HATE SPEECH unconditionally guaranteed by the Constitution as a fundamental right of the people now becomes regulated (abridged) and there now exists that ominous label HATE SPEECH which can be used by enemies of free speech to punish, discipline, restrict or even eliminate contrary speech of almost any kind. New restriction laws federal and state are proposed every day. That is especially so with regard to the Gay Agenda, the LGBT movement. To disagree and to say so is hate, and therefore punishable. To proclaim the Gospel publicly can often have the speaker arrested. Russia makes it a crime to do so. England and especially London arrest street preachers. Social Media labels anyone intolerant, bigoted, homophobic and hateful who criticize his LGBT, transgender, or any so-called alternative lifestyle:

The battle between the First Amendment freedoms and religion progresses and aggressively so. Freedom of Religion is on the wane, more carefully circumscribed than ever. Religion is removed from the marketplace, the Public Square, shunned and ridiculed, and the God of the Universe with it. Religion, religious thought and speech should be confined to the church, internally so many not of faith think. Any concept of God is out, passé, mythological and gradually turning UN-AMERICAN more so than ever. To suggest that a man or woman is in need of salvation, a turning point in life, reform and regeneration, change in values or lifestyle can now be regarded as HATE SPEECH. The Ten Commandments are viewed as nothing more than platitudes and certainly without legal and even moral effect, irrelevant in today’s ANYTHING-GOES society.

We commenter’s here, [at least most] guest’s and Greg should [and do] together, stand unconditionally for the freedoms of the First Amendment and especially RELIGIOUS FREEDOMS. We believe as the Constitution so strongly states that all such First Amendment rights are in fact UNCONDITIONAL! No laws can legally be made to restrict them. Congress and by implication the states have no right to change or make laws restricting those rights. They shall forevermore be:

So we believe and please lets not fight about, before the world, whether hell is hot or not! We shall find out soon enough in the perilousness times ahead, unless those days be cut short!

    Matthew 24:22 NLT
“In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, not a single person will survive. But it will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen ones.

KJV “Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short

    See more;

Greg, your the boss, this is your site. You worked hard for it’ But please don’t forget that we helped too, because of our love for you and of course our baby,!
Now whether you approve this message? I am not running for but away from public office. [joke]

Diane, New York[Slime] Times Proves it is the Establishment – End of Independence

The internet is here and the younger generations do not buy newspapers. The lifeblood of media has been advertising revenue. That has turned the tide. There is a growth of 15.7% in advertising revenue, but it is all on the internet with not increases appearing for TV or newspapers. This biased and foolish endorsement of Hillary by the New York Times has simply exposed that they are part of the ESTABLISHMENT and this is really what is under attack in these elections on a global basis. It is like supporting Napoleon in the Battle of Waterloo on that fateful day of June 18th, 1815.

This is why whenever I receive a letter from the New York[Slime] Times it goes straight to the garbage can and I live in Michi ‘gun! What are they up too?

It all goes back to Abraham who double crossed his son Ishmael as instructed by the Lord.
God set us up and now the Armageddon draws near, possibly in our lifetime.
    Thanks a lot.

    • Anne Elliott

Sounds like you attended the Baal Arch dedication.
There is no shadow in the Lord. There is no doublecross, except the one that Baal /Satan himself orchestrates against the world, and especially against the children of God.
Ishmael was a child of a lack of faith from Abraham and Sarah. His mother acted out of bounds with the true wife Sarah, and then reaped the consequences of her pride by being driven out. Even so, she and he were provided for by God, and Ishmael became the father of many nations.
If Armageddon draws near, it is surely because the people of the world have drawn away from God. Just like Haggar, they will reap the consequences of their actions, but unfortunately, they will drag the rest of us down with them!

The good and the evil, we all will suffer in the last days.

    • Robert Lykens

You should always look for the love and mercy of God in every situation. If the times are dark, it’s because God is driving us to Jesus.

    • Charles H

Abraham did NOT ‘double cross’ his son Ishmael. Sarahi acted out of turn, and apart from godly and moral procedure by offering her handmaiden Hagar to bear a child out of wedlock. Abraham already had the promise from God, and should not have waited. This is an example of the children suffering for the sins of the fathers.
Further – if Abraham was instructed by the Lord: then, by extension: the Lord is the author of double crossing Ishmael. NO WAY, Hatemail – can God be condemned by man’s puny, moral conception. If you think man can condemn God in ANY way, or for ANY thing: then you labor under a false conception. Period.

I read The Harbinger and it was a very interesting and thought provoking read. I like Cahn and appreciate his Biblical knowledge and how he points out the similarities of what happened in ancient Israel to what is going on today. All but one of the prophecies have been fulfilled and that last one is coming at a time no one knows or can predict. So while I agree that the end is coming, (like a thief in the night), and we should be prepared, we do not know if it will be tomorrow or a thousand years.

I like a lot of what J. Cahn says, and yet at other things, I can only wonder … was the USA a blessed country, if you were a Native American Indian?
I wouldn’t say they are ‘savages’ to demean them … that they didn’t know Christ & thus needed ‘saved’ … as much of the savagery of the world was by the good/light of the supposed Christians during the times of the Inquisition, or the Salem witch trials, or any of the Holy Wars waged in early European times …

Sorry Greg, while i respect your good work, and your right to run your site , i deplore the noise of religions prophets . It relies on interpretations of what GOD wants ….but whose GOD? Show me a religion that has not used its interpretation to justify its evil actions, and i might be willing to consider their words.

    • Tin foil hat

      James Sullivan,
I’ll share an ancient prophecy made at the time of Sneferu, a 4th Dynasty pharaoh (circa 2600BCE). The prophecy was told to King Sneferu by a great seer priest named Nefer Rohu.
      “Behold, there’s something which men speak;
      It’s terrifying…
What will be done was never done before.
      The earth is completely perished….
The rivers of Egypt are empty…
Ra must began the foundation of the earth again.
Then it’s that a sovereign will come-
      Ameni (The Unknown),
The Triumphant he will be called.
The SON-MAN will be his name forever and ever …..
      Wrongdoing will be driven out;
      Justice in its place will come;
The people of his time rejoice.”

It’s chilling to find terminology that is familiar from the New Testament, about an Unknown, the Triumphant Savior, the Son-Man, in papyrus texts written some 4,200 years ago.

    • Bob Conolly

      Spot on James Sullivan…..

I come here often but have rarely commented. Greg interviews some fantastic clued in guests and the discourse that follows in the comments section is usually excellent.

Except for the religious overtones……..evangelical even in its nature.

      Turns me off.

I am not religious at all but my wife is Buddhist. And according to some of the zealots here she is guaranteed eternal damnation as she does not believe in the good Lord.

When I see the religious do-gooders start to blather on I turn completely off.

      • Greg Hunter

The religious overtones especially the ones about Jesus Christ are here to stay. You are welcome to start your own site and run it the way you like.

        • Bob Conolly

You would have a far better site here Greg if it were not for the continual and growing religious dialogue.

And your response makes it very clear that anyone who does not agree is straight away on the outer or perhaps not wanted – (go start your own site).

Are you not being a little bit narrow minded ?

Religion is divisive and is best left out of any discussion on matters that affects each and everyone of us.

PS: I lived and worked in the states for 3 years and my wife and I know just how alienated one can feel if they are not prepared to accept offers to join in with the local congregation on the weekend….we basically were shunned socially once our religious views became known.

          Terribly narrow minded.

          • Greg Hunter

I am unashamed to be a Christian and you are not superior to me in any way. Start you own site. It’s easy.

            • Bob Conolly

” and according to you we don’t believe in nothing………”

Never said that Greg, stop making stuff up.

Based on my own experiences many Americans are so blinkered by religion that anybody with a different religious or alternate view to life is literally treated with disdain and/or mistrust.

Open your minds a bit more perhaps ?

I still love your site Greg – one of the absolute best on the internet, but the way things are going some of us are not as welcome to the club as we do not share your strongly held religious views.

              • Greg Hunter

Here you go again: “Open your minds a bit more perhaps?” My mind is wide open all the time. I field hundreds of emails and comments a day on this site and on the YT channel (along with developing content). Just because I do not see it your way, does not mean my mind is closed. Why don’t you “Open your mind a bit more perhaps?”

            • Bob Conolly

“you are not superior to me in any way…”

Where did I infer that ?

              • Greg Hunter

“Are you not being a little bit narrow minded?” And “Religion is divisive and is best left out of any discussion on matters that affects each and everyone of us.” I disagree and this comes off pompous.

I don’t feel one bit uncomfortable here.

      • Charles H

        Bob Conolly,

Some people have decided they will not be challenged, or involved – in any beliefs or belief system other than what they settle for themselves. But that works until it doesn’t work. Following your wife’s subscription – there’s no challenge there because life always comes back. She probably thinks that sooner or later, after countless lifetimes: you will cross her belief-path. So it’s compatible with no belief.
Problem is – there isn’t much proof that life circulates on the Buddhistic planes. And worse is that there is no guarantee that karma and dharma will ever be shed, so that nirvana is achieved. The stars may grow cold and one might still be bound in suffering.
And if the basic premise of Buddhism is not true: then Death presents a finality that is terrible to risk. What Greg Hunter, and I can assert is there is a belief system that concords and harmonizes with Nature, Natural Law, Morality, a sensible Spiritual Hierarchy, and an unbroken line through Human History. Nature, in it’s complexities and inter-relatedness scream beyond astronomical probabilities of intelligent design: implying a Designer; and a corresponding relationship or accountability. It is one thing to boo-hoo or throw-down on those like us who bring a message of real hope, while life and health last. When Death nears – it is another matter. Many say it’s proximity brings fear. And irony plays it’s hand because by that time: preparations become too late and one is trapped by unpreparedness. In any respect: Death is the moment of truth; and the ultimate cause for circumspection. Take-backs, or no take-backs: it’s Eternity at the flip of a coin. Too many odds for me; too much to risk

And by the way – to focus on damnation is one sided. Redemption and Eternal life – for free, a gift: but unless you get it your way – you don’t want it? If God has supplied the solution to the dilemma: can you really condemn Him for punishing rejection? I say true Christianity is reasonable in every way – if you find it.

      James Sullivan,

You are right, and you are wrong – James. You are right in that many DO rely on ‘interpretations’, when Divine authority should stand alone and unmolested. And you are right when truth, or a measure of truth: is used for an evil purpose. This is the unfortunate universal problem in the good and evil paradigm.
But you are wrong to lump Christianity in with everything else. The terms of Redemption are unique from every other belief system, or ‘religion’. No one who ever became truly saved ever repented of their decision.
On the other hand many too many name the name of Christ: but aren’t really His. And they do great damage to the true cause. Mostly they burn others to the ground before finding the real thing – posers, who won’t themselves enter, but stop those who would. From an experimental standpoint: I can’t blame those like you.
All I can say is that there IS a Truth that resides beyond the bad experiences and hypocrisy: and that it is worth seeking.
By the way – there aren’t any prophets anymore – just messengers: and we get shot-up all the time.

Something else that some might find interesting is that the ONLY two places in the KJV Bible where the exact word “Trump” is used, is in reference to the 2nd coming of Christ and the event of the rapture:

1 Cor 15:52 “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last TRUMP: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

1 Thes 4:16 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first”

It may be over analyzing, but regardless, these are interesting times indeed.

  49. Diane D.

Oh how Jews, globalists and neocons love the most misinterpreted verse in the Bible. God’s promise to Abraham in Genesis 12:3, “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed” (KJV), and applying it to the modern man-made, UN sanctioned state of Israel. They completely ignore Galatians 3 that clearly and emphatically explains that the promise to Abraham was fulfilled in Jesus Christ and in those who have faith in Him. The promise to Abraham has absolutely nothing to do with the modern Zionist state of Israel.

Rabbi Cahn implies that if the US turns from Israel it will be cursed? Mercy, what has happened to the United States since 1948, when the United Nations created modern Israel? Has America been “blessed” by becoming little more than a war machine for Israel? Think of the innocent blood shed by the wars for the straw man, ‘Israel First’.

Christ’s last words to Israel were, “Behold, your house is left unto your desolate’ Matthew 34:38. Nothing has changed since Christ’s resurrection other than Jerusalem being destroyed in 70 AD as Christ predicted. Today’s Israel is still blind and desolate.

    • Greg Hunter

      Diane D.,
America has been the richest and most powerful country on earth since the 1940’s. You simply hate Israel and you do NOT know your Bible. You are bending it to fit your negative narrative of Israel. Here are 16 references from both the Old and New Testament that talk about “Blessing” Israel. End of story. You had your say.

      • Mark

Sorry Greg, she is “spot on” to use your speak. You are good with religious platitudes, but weak on true understanding.

        • Greg Hunter

We will just have to agree to disagree and just because we do doesn’t make you right and me wrong.

          • WD

If I remember correctly Cahn has repeatedly said that Israel must turn to Christ?

            • Greg Hunter

That’s been the plan from the very beginning and they will.

            • Charles H

The God of Israel has only one Messiah. They rejected Him (Jesus Christ) when he appeared, and are still ‘awaiting’ for Him to come. What they will get is an anti-Christ who will pose as Him: but desecrate their beliefs in the future. That “turning” will be to change their rejection into final recognition and acceptance which they don’t maintain now. The event WILL come to force this.

        • Tracy Welborn

I dare you to share with God tonight how you feel about Israel. Just tell him the whole story then ask him to show you the truth. Let us know how it goes.

    • Daniel Song

There is a big difference between political Israel and the followers of Yahweh… when God refers to Israel, Israelites and “His people”, God is always addressing the latter.

Political Israel will meet the exact same fate as every other political nation; their fate is sealed. It’s only those who follow Yahweh and His Son Jesus Christ who will receive the blessings of Israel.

    • Tracy Welborn

I’ve heard this argument that Christians are the fulfilled Jews – you are WRONG. This is a really really bad idea of yours and it WILL get you into a lot of trouble in the future. Maybe you can keep your mind and heart open?

      • Charles H

It is called “Replacement Theology”. And you are correct to label it as being “WRONG”. Bravo, Tracy.

    • Charles H

      Diane D,

I must respectfully beg to differ. You say: “The promise to Abraham has absolutely nothing to do with the modern Zionist state of Israel.” This is not true. Jerusalem is the City of David, and Capitol of the Nation of Israel from antiquity. God chose David, made him king, and established the nation through him. Zionism is the recognition of that home-state in and of the ancestral territories.
The Galatians Chapter 3 is a treatise of the spiritual fulfillment of FAITH, realized in New Testament Christianity, and is a further exposition of the adjustment between Law and Grace, as the Book of Romans sets forth. It neither deals with the identity of Israel as a nation; nor does it describe physical possession, as in land or territory. The Genesis 12: 3 declaration: “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curse thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” – is a carte blanche to the end of time; which is based upon the previous verse – “And I will make of thee a great nation…” A nation has to be somewhere. To separate the Jew from possessing his ancestral land and completing his identity: is an effort to weaken them and deny a legitimate place, and thus purpose in the world. If America undermines any of this, which it IS doing: the Hand of God for blessing and protection will be removed. If we persist: judgment will eventually come (if it isn’t on the doorstep already.) Christianity OWES it’s existence to the Jew, Abraham’s physical seed. The Savior Himself is a Jewish carpenter, by trade. The purposes and paths of Israel and Christianity are NOT linear, but parallel – so that we are grafted into their life or spiritual commonwealth: but don’t take over the tree! Israel IS blind and desolate: but this is no proof that God is finished with them. Many prophetic promises are still on the table. To mess with the Jew is to mess with God at a distance: be very careful.

The Senate is moving forward with a pledge by leadership to try to override President Obama’s veto of legislation that would allow families of 9/11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia in court. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) set the vote on overriding the veto, along with two hours of debate, for Wednesday.

According to the calendar, the House will then be in session until Sept. 30, and adjourn until Nov. 14, after the elections.
If the Senate overrides the bill, the probability of the House also overriding the veto is very high. And the likely hood of them voting on it before adjourning is also very high assuming it is overridden in the Senate.

I am sticking with the opinion that the Saudi’s will not sell Treasuries in fear of US retribution.

    • Paul ...

I don’t think it is the money the Saudi’s are worried about … they can just pump a few more barrels of oil or steal Yemen’s vast reserves (with US help) … the real reason for denying 9-11 compensation is that it sets a bad precedent (that all the neocons involved in 9-11 can be sued for their false flag operation) … and when the neocons set off a nuclear weapon on US soil to get WWIII started they don’t want to be dragged into court to pay all the people they kill reparations for the false flag operation!!

  51. Herb

I’ve read the first two of Rabbi Cahn’s books, but I’m not sure I’ll buy the third.

Five years of Christian seminary study gave me an appreciation of biblical prophecy, but prophecies are intended to be viewed reflectively. For the most part, this is what Rabbi Cahn has done. But when one tries to make predictions from biblical prophecy, one get’s into trouble. People have been doing this for centuries and their work has come to nothing. After all, if someone actually uses the Bible to make a prediction and it comes true, who gets the credit? That is not what biblical prophecy is all about.

By limiting oneself to reconciling prophecy with things that have already happened (which is what Jesus did), the church is blessed. To his credit, during your interview, Rabbi Cahn has at least couched his “predictions” with qualifying language: something MIGHT happen on such and such a date. That puts him ahead of the many writers who’s predictions have gone down in flames.

I am also a graduate engineer, which has given me access to the study of statistics and probability. If you put all the prophecies in the Bible (intended or otherwise) into a pot, statistics will show that the number of possible predictions that can come out of that pot approaches infinity. Therefore, when one picks up the morning newspaper and looks for fulfilled prophecies, there are probably at least a few with every issue. Rabbi Cahn has pointed to many that look like a fairly good fit. If that causes many people to “get right with God,” then I say “Amen” to his work. But those betting their future on his books may come to regret it later.

    • Robert Lykens

Herb, I believe that God put prophecies in the Bible specifically so we’d know what’s coming.

      Matthew 24: 24, 25 –
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.

This was obviously spoken, not to reconcile prophecy with things that have happened, but to warn us that when we see these things, not to be deceived.

Hebrews 10:25 told us that we could “see the day approaching.”
That’s only possible if we reconcile prophecy with things that are currently happening.

  52. Robert Lykens

    – Guns-a-blazin’ in the debate…

Back to the “mysteries” subject, I’ve often wondered if Abraham lied. The fact that Elie Weisel wrote “The Trial of God” (and found Him guilty) instead of “The Trial of Abraham” didn’t help. Perhaps God was not guilty of breaking covenants. No hate; just pity if generations have been misled because it was so profitable for some to do so.

    • Tracy Welborn

Let’s say you did end up on the wrong end of the covenant. All you have to do is believe in Jesus and BOOM, you’re grafted into the covenant. Problem solved. 🙂

If that’s not Lehman Brothers, I don’t know what is. What I can’t figure out is why would Germans not be scrambling to withdraw their funds, already. And, Merkel has already said there will be no bail-out, so we all know that means a ‘bail-in’ – just like Cyprus, only worse. What does it take for folks to wake up? It has to be a spiritual blindness, that’s the only explanation.

That’s not the way most see it in the polls.

    • Paul ...

Hillary wasn’t as mean spirited as I thought she would be … but she did get in that Trump was racist and against women … Trump is a self made man who deals in making billions of dollars for his company … exactly the CEO we need presiding over a nation that squanders trillions … the difference between Trump and Hillary is that Trump will reduce our national debt by making our allies (we protect) pay our nation for its protective services … Hillary will have our allies pay “her private Charity” and let the taxpayer continue to foot the bill to provide their protection!

Hillary coming top on the first debate by most polls.
    Round 1 Hillary.

    • Greg Hunter

Most polls see that differently. Even Time and CNBC polls say Trump won by a wide margin. Hill won on style but Trump won on message and it’s all about the message.

      • Mohammad

Obviously Greg many are trying to help him repairing the damage Hillary inflicted on him. Even Julliani is out for help and zero hedge is coaching him on what to do in the next debate. Obviously he lost round one and will see for the rest of the rounds how it turns out.

        • Greg Hunter

You mean the crap Lester Holt, NBC News and Hillary Clinton TRIED to inflict on Trump. Hillary still lost on the message in the polls and I am including Lefty sites like Slate, Time and CNBC. If you think that was fair you are sadly wrong and too many things that were far more harmful to Clinton were omitted. How about how Hillary said she forgot 39 times in FBI the interview looking into here servers? That is just one of many items too stupid to leave out of a debate that was supposed to tell if they both were qualified to be President.

          • Mohammad

Hillary did a big number on Trump, no doubt. They hit under the belt with Lester being biased, nonetheless he lost this round, he was ticked off and his ego got him played in Hillary’s hand they way she PREPARED and he did not.

I still say by all measures all reactions from different corners he lost round one.

I suspect he will come back in round tow charging but she has lots of tricks underwear sleeve that will have him played into her hand the way she did in round one.

            will see.

    Greg, great show!
    One question tho’
There was a very famous Rabbi, and holy one at that, was supposedly visited by the archangel Michael sometime around the year 1100 AD. Michael supposedly told the rabbi to think in jubilee portion of years -a jubilee year representing 50 earth years. Michael told of an empire that would arise in the area and last so many jubilee years. That empire was the ottaman empire. That from its ending one jubilee year later a disasterous religious event would take place and that another jubilee year following this event much destruction in the world would take place. In other words, one hundred years after the Ottaman empire ended a terrible time would come to mankind. The Ottaman empire ended in 1917. I believe the Rabbi’s name began with the letter ‘M’. Could you please ask Rabbi Cahn if he knows of this Rabbi and what his name was?
Thank you, Greg. I have been following your work for years now. Keep it up and God bless you and yours.

    • Greg Hunter

Thank you Larry for your support and comment.

Larry, Except for the bit about being visited by the archangel Michael, your description points to what I’ve read about Judah ben Samuel (1140-1217) here:

[There are plenty of other articles about Judah ben Samuel and his prophecy about jubilees to check through google; maybe there is one about the archangel Michael. I’ve only read 2 or 3 of them.]

  68. Roxane Premont

Please consider sharing the following with the Rabbi:
Could the Shmita also be God’s indictment of our financial system? Consider:
The Bible says it is wrong to “reap where you do not sow.” That is why gambling is wrong. But, that also applies to those investors who use money to skim wealth off of society. In the Parable of the Talents it is the WICKED master that in frustration tells the servant, “well then you fool, I should have simply had you place the money in the bank to earn interest.” The wicked master is consistent and advocates something wicked–placing money in a bank AT INTEREST. (Matthew 25). This interpretation of the Parable was the historic Christian interpretation until about 400 years ago. And, it is consistent with the rest of scripture. For instance, God states in the book of Ezekiel, “He lends at interest and takes a profit. Will such a man live? He will not! Because he has done all these abominations, he is to be put to death; his blood will be on his own head. (Ezekiel 18:13.) It takes a bit of mathematical mental work to realize that charging interest demands currency debasement (growth of the money supply) to provide for interest. Ellen Brown has mentioned this. And, it obvious that the global system is now up against mathematical limits. But, banking could not come into existence until Christianity abandoned its long stand against charging interest on loans about 400 years ago (see the Catholic School of Salamanca and John Calvin). Judaism, to this day, still prays for the sin of charging interest on loans every Yom Kippur. Should we then be surprised that it is Jesus that chases out the money lenders?

  69. Country Codger

    Hi Greg,
Great interview. I having nothing but respect for Pastor Cahn and he has a beautiful message of repentence. He delivered it at the Inaugural Prayer Breakfast for Obama. I have a hard time reconciling his message of repentence with his false teaching on the sabbatical year. Compare his “Shemitah” teaching, go back and re-listen to this interview, and compare that to Christine Legarde’s speech at the Presstitute Breakfast conference she gave a couple of years ago. Same message. It falsely identifies the number 7 and obfuscates the true message of the sabbatical year. Also, Pastor Cahn is 76 years off on his calendar. We are not in a Jubilee “Yobel” year. The next one, the last one, is 2045.

I wish him all the best. He is obviously talented but I wish he would do the historical math rather than doing the financial math. The sabbatical year is not about finances or economy. It is about the land. Read it for yourself, Leviticus 25 and then read Leviticus 26 to see what happens to the nation that calls themselve by the Name of YHWH and bring His Name to naught (Exodus 20:7).
