The End of the Fiat Experiment – Bill Holter

Financial writer and precious metals expert Bill Holter (aka Mr. Gold) has been sounding the alarm of the profound risk in the financial system. At the beginning of December, Mr. Gold warned about the record setting silver prices and said, “It’s pretty clear and pretty obvious that something behind the scenes is breaking.” What is “breaking” is the extremely leveraged futures markets with not enough physical silver to deliver. Fast forward to the end of the month, and new record highs in gold and silver are happening every day. Mr. Gold says, “They are gobbling up all the supply available because they understand this is the end of the fiat currency experiment that started August 15 of 1971. Fiats are collapsing. This is the Hunt brothers on steroids because you have the entire world buying physical. The Hunt brothers got into trouble because they were buying paper contracts, and COMEX changed the rules. COMEX can change any rules they want . . . it won’t matter because the rest of the world is buying cash and carry . . . they will not accept paper contracts. They want real physical metal.”
Here is where it gets both interesting and dangerous. What happens if the short sellers cannot deliver the silver promised? Mr. Gold says, “People say if they can’t deliver, and I am going to tell you at some point they will not be able to deliver, when that moment happens, it’s game over for the entire financial system. Silver, and I believe it will be silver that fails to deliver, silver is the blasting cap to the gold nuclear bomb. When silver fails to deliver, then immediately there will be a pile into COMEX gold, and they will not be able to deliver the gold. Once that happens, you have failures of contracts that are proven fraudulent. They are zeroed out and cannot perform. Then it spreads to cattle, pork bellies, grains and you name it. This is not to mention the financials of stocks and bonds. Once you prove fraud in silver, that’s going to spread to all the derivatives, and we will have a derivative meltdown. . .. The world wants gold and silver because those are the only two monies that cannot default.”
What you are seeing in the gold and silver markets now is far from a top. This is just getting started. Mr. Gold says, “These contracts are a zero-sum game. There is a winner and a loser. If the loser loses so big that they go belly up, then the winner becomes a loser because they can’t get paid. That is the problem. . .. When this actually hits and there is a failure to deliver, gold and silver will be wiped off the shelves, and there will be none to be bought. . .. This will be a run for safety, and fear is the greatest emotion there is. Fear is a far greater emotion than greed. . .. This is going to turn into a reverse bank run into gold and into silver because they cannot default in a world that is defaulting. . .. What you are witnessing is the end of trust. When you have the end of trust, the confidence breaks and credit is forthcoming only when there is trust. Once confidence breaks, the credit markets will begin to seize up. . .. When credit stops, it’s game over. You will see markets, institutions and stores shutter.”
Holter says you should be able to be self-sufficient for a while when the system shuts down. Storing up food and water is a good place to start.
In closing, Holter says, “This is the finale of the great financial reset. Make no mistake, what you are watching is the world resetting before your very eyes.”

Silver was $50 in 1980 and today around $70. $50 in the S&P 500 at the beginning of 1980 would be worth approximately $8,831 by the end of 2025, assuming all dividends were reinvested. This represents a total return of over 17,500% over the 45-year period. Every few decades the metals pop a little bit and Gold Bugs get out their pom poms. This will be no different than 1980 and 2011 for silver. My friends at the LBMA and the CME are ready to raise margin requirements hugely as well as throw hundreds of thousands of naked contracts at Silver which should put the final nails in silver’s coffin. Oh, and yes, I am hugely short silver 🙂

For thousands of years horses and mules were used for transportation, then the automobile was invented. Gold and Silver were used until the US Dollar and electronic payments came along. Using well established and legal avenues of trading such as naked shorting is not cheating, it is using money wisely and making it work for you. As to your other insults, I do have many friends at JPM, the LBMA, the CME and Comex. We recently had a huge Christmas party on my yacht in Tortola at the Light House Marina. By the way, I understand you are having trouble making ends meat. This is not about the value of the dollar. Silver may be a rock, but it is a rare rock that needs to be mined, but not just mined, after that it needs extreme processing to take the form of a coin or bar. It is a rock that is a limited natural resource, but has been wasted and thrown away in land fills for over a century. It is the best at conducting electricity and that is where the value is and why shorting it is a HUGE mistake. As you have observed in recent years im sure, the value of lithium has increased because of the lithium car batteries mass produced for the mouth breathing do good lefties, of which have long charge times and are extremely dangerous if the separation paper between the anode and cathodes are damaged. That damage happens through the electrolyte which solidifies and forms crystals naturaly over a period of time, these crystals puncture the separator paper….a decade or two and your basically driving a fire bomb, which you park in your garage.
Samsung has finished developing a solid state silver based electric car battery that fully charges in 8 minutes and goes hundreds of miles on a charge and it life span is 20+ years …1 kilo of silver is used. I’m sure you know the Chinese love of electric cars….if the east puts 1 kilo of silver in every vehicle from here on, the global supply of silver will be cut in half. Let’s not mention the medical uses for silver as it’s use as a antibiotic will only increase as bacteria become resistant to most antibiotics. Gold is rarer….but not as useful it does just sit and a safe…..but once silver is used as in antibiotics or 500 ounces in a tomahawk missle which is vaporized, it’s gone forever. Short silver please….have your wealthy friends drive the price down, so I can buy more cheaper. Eventually, I will buy your yacht.

China is buying raw silver everywhere and flying it back to its own refineries. AI Data Centers, Solar Panels (cannot be recycled cost effectively), Dept. of War electronics, guidance systems, drones and missile systems like the Tomahawk require 500 oz of silver (A Monster Box). THIS cannot be recycled nor recovered. Silver is a byproduct of mining other metals. It is used now as money in India and China. Here too, until 1964. BRICS are no longer buying Oil in Dollars that was set up with OPEC since 1973. That is the only thing giving the US “Dollar” (Fed. Rsrv Fiat) any value outside the US. That we no longer manufacture anything in the US as we did means we export little to nothing of value. The Federal Reserve Note Fiat system is toast. End Game. This is from two sides, both monetary and industrial tech use.

I’ve had that talk with my wife and part of our preparation we are still thinking on is a remote food storage. You have to be able to discern! The best one so far is the line Jonny Bravo uses about money. I think, Silver will find its way into Crypto.
The reason that I am saying it is because the people with Silver will need a medium of exchange instead of carrying a bag of coins. The people that will trade their Cryptos are going to need a safe place to store it.

Two years ago bought “monster box” (500 US Mint coins) of silver for 18k. Now 41k. Bought 100 face (face value adds up to $100) Constitutional (“Junk”) silver for 2000. Now 5200. Bought gold at 1900. Now over 4500. There will come a time when can’t get at any price (“Unobtainium”) because fiat currency backed by nothing is worthless. Physical demand for immediate delivery (especially silver) has pushed aside paper contracts in pricing. Empires have done similar throughout History (Ming, Rome, Britain, Spain, etc) and always ended in downfall. Gold and silver GOD’s money for thousands of years. US foolishly followed the same path. US essentially ended the day CIA/MIC/LBJ (Lynchpin) took out JFK in ’63. In ’68 they cemented the path taking out RFK and MLK. Feel sorry for the young ones. Especially in Babylon.
