More Risk in System Now than Any Time Ever – Bill Holter

Financial writer and precious metals expert Bill Holt (aka Mr. Gold) said a month ago that rising “gold and silver prices were sniffing out risk.” Looks like the Federal Reserve is also smelling some risk. It recently, quietly flooded the banks with $125 billion injection in just five days. The cash went into the repo market. Mr. Gold says, “This is just a tremor, the cash going into the repo market. Understand that there are more derivatives outstanding, and there is more debt outstanding. Whatever metric you want to use to measure it, there is more risk in the system now than any time ever. Go back to 2008 and 2009, and we were very close to a complete meltdown with markets not opening up on Monday morning. They started handwringing over $700 billion in TARP, while behind the scenes, the Federal Reserve created $16 trillion or $17 trillion and lent it all over the world. It didn’t right the ship, but it did stop it from sinking. I ask you, has anything changed or has anything been fixed? Did they address any of those problems we had back in 2008 and 2009? The answer is no. In fact, they double, triple and quadrupled down on those same policies.”
Mr. Gold goes on to say, “They are trying to fix a debt problem with liquidity. The liquidity is like a Novocaine shot. It makes things feel better temporarily, but it does not fix the problem. The problem is there is too much debt outstanding by any metric. Whether you look at debt to cash flow or debt to equity, a perfect example is the US dollar. The United States is now 130% debt to GDP, and, oh, by the way, the dollar is still the world reserve currency. In 1982 when I graduated from college, if debt got to 100% of GDP, it was considered a banana republic. That being said, you could say the entire world is a banana republic because they use as a reserve currency something that is issued by a bankrupt entity. It is insolvent because look at the Fed’s balance sheet. The Fed has negative equity now. They lost so much on bonds they bought in 2008 and 2009, and interest rates have gone up. That means their portfolio has dropped. . .. two or three years back, they were operating with only $65 billion in equity. They had trillions of dollars, and if you want to count derivatives, they had quadrillions of dollars (of debt) dancing on the head of a $65 billion pin.”
Mr. Gold is not worried about the most recent correction with gold and silver prices. Holter says “Watch out for a possible ‘failure to deliver’ of physical gold and silver at the end of the year. . .. Failure to deliver physical metal will end the fraud, and it will be game over for the metal contracts. More and more people are now standing for delivery.”
With the government shutdown and SNAP food benefits being cut off, where does this end? Mr. Gold says, “You’ve got people on line saying if they cut off the food that they are going to go out and steal to feed their families. . .. Mad Max, this is where this ends. Is it going to be Mad Max for years? It might be two weeks or two months. God forbid it goes on for six months because the skills are gone with hunting and farming. What people know how to do is get in their car and go to the corner store.”
In closing, Holter says, “Get your capital out of the system.” Buying physical gold and silver is getting cash out of the system and putting it under your direct control.

Good work dirt rider. Maintenance is a lot more expensive because of the welsbach seeding. I have a cousin that was in charge of all maintenance at Pearson International in Toronto. I don’t know what Bill has said. But this has been Ed’s position for a while.
There are interviews where he has said this directly, but this is the first one I could put my hands on where he explains his position. It arises out of a pending dollar liquidity crisis and subsequent fear trade as people rush to long bonds and the dollar for safety.
“There’s actually a dollar liquidity shortage going on globally. And you’re going to see the dollar uh we think I have a friend Tim Wood. He does a lot of cycle analysis and he’s discovered what’s called a four-year cycle to the dollar. And we think there might have been a four-year cycle low in the dollar in September. And if that’s correct, uh, we got a lot of room to run higher and it held above right on its trend line. And if you look at the long-term chart of the dollar since the great financial crisis, it’s been in a bull market. It’s it’s been a, you know, you know, up and down quite a bit, but it’s it’s a long-term rising trend. And a lot of people don’t understand, you know, what the dollar is. It’s a we’re a debt based fiat system and we’re the reserve currency. So when the dollar is declining, that means more credit’s being created. And when the dollar is rising, in general, not always, but in general, when the dollar is rising, there’s less credit being created. There’s a scramble for dollars, and there’s also potentially defaults coming on the horizon. So that’s what I see. I see the early signs that there’s going to be an aha moment in the capital markets and we’re going to see everybody that’s on the wrong side of asset allocation scramble to the other side. And you’re already seeing it in the bond market. I mean, you got to remember remember, you know, about six months ago, the our our yields were going to go to, you know, 8%. That was the chatter. They’re not they’re not going to 8%. They seem to be creeping lower. And why? That’s because the bond market has started to focus rather than on inflation to disinflation or deflation.”
I got reprimanded by Greg for questioning Martin about him sending a letter to Trump and warning him not to drive rates down. My view was and remains that the bond market will set the long rate, (not Martin or Trump or anyone else) and Martin knows that. Sometimes his ego gets out in front of him, and he claims to have more power than he or anyone else does.
If I find the interview where Dowd specifically says the dollar will” fail up” in those exact terms, I will post it. It may very well have been on USAWatchdog.com

I have done no wrong and in ordinary circumstances, this should have never happened!
At the moment, I am not thinking at all about returning to Israel. I realise that Israel is doing the dirty work for some people from the West (the City of London). First, a good idea:
If you live in a blue state and/or city and you don’t want the state to eventually just Take your assets away (gold, real estate, or currency) then consider moving to a more secure red state which believes in Rule of Law, capitalism, and property rights.
On the other hand, if you are afraid of the financial system where you live but can’t move, buying physical gold and stashing it under your mattress is really bad advice. The U.S. dollar is still the ONLY acceptable legal tender suitable for paying debts and taxes.
So, converting gold to USD involves significant transaction fees as a percent of gold cashed out or purchased, rendering specie impractical for routine transactions or even large ones such as an automobile.
Gold is NOT fungible when buying goods or services in the marketplace. One must be practical and employ “common sense”. Once everything is digitized, gold will likely be confiscated, especially if it ever goes as high as $10,000/ounce.
Where do you live. I wanted to buy a house, I called my coin dealer and when and got cash. And yea, I have my stuff handy. I didn’t pay any fees.

Dear Ms. Laughlin, thank you for your wonderful insightful attention to my posts. Do hope you find some the information useful and informative from time to time. As a hobby, and out of curiosity I do spend much time listening to those Greg interviews as well as many other alt media, having learned long about the media is corrupt and lies, as do environmentalist and politicians (most are lawyer).
Would love to be as entertained by any you’d like to share, as I try to click on most links provided by other commentors here, to see what they add to or can expand on what Greg and his guests are sharing.
As I bring up Greg’s site to many, actually have cards with USA.WATCHDOG.COM which I pass out to people to enjoy and get informed on much of what is presented here…lately…. especially on the Covid medical info. Then too, I have learned so much over a decade here, from all his guests…it’s a process which people with little time need to learn as to financial/economical terminology and political sophistry used to dupe people not as wise as you perhaps, but who need to learn the history and deception that has been used to hoodwink them and alter their preceptions of reality. One of my main points is to tell people I refer to this site is…along with a list of my favorite interviewees…IS…look them up in search bar at the top….listen to what they were saying years ago…and compare to now. And check into some links of commentors to get even more informantion and a more rounded history, information and data to see maybe some that those being interviewed are not aware of. Big world, lots to consider…other nations lie, other also have their own agenda’s and cover-up…AND beyoud the lies, some of the biggest ones are…their omissions and distractions while they do the evil they are doing. BUT…it appears you’re very well informed…and do not see others need to share or be informed.

Now we are all not perfect…and I myself am guilty of some omissions…especially when asked about where I hunt or where I showen some things I promised not to share if they showed me.
