Marty Armstrong wrote Trump and his new administration a letter stating that Trump’s tax policy of major tariffs “will cause a Great Depression” if Trump is foolish enough to actually go through with it. Marty has now updated his forcast on Europe and it seems that a Depression is a forgone conclusion over there.

An attack may and probably will come, but it will not be a total nuclear exchange. A massive nuclear exchange would throw so much dust and radiation into the earth’s system that the world would no longer function.
Even Bible believing Christians know that the world will still be running and habitable when the anti-christ arrives and the end comes. Destruction will come but in a limited way; enough to destroy countries and economies, but not the world. The final wars will happen on a functioning Earth.

I also feel we need to come to terms with however the Russians and Chinese are in strategic nuclear weapons, the disparity will be greater in three years time. Russia needs time to calm the situation in Europe, and to open Germany’s energy markets once more. Peace is therefore on the table. Only everyone must believe we are on the verge of world war. This is how Russia extracts the most advantageous terms.
I could be wrong, but it looks like Russia is preparing a big diplomatic move. Meanwhile, will the pro Russian MAGA faction be like lambs or go back to a doctrine of peace through strength. Will they continue to think the threat of war is coming out of the “warmongers” in Washington. If so, they are primed to give Putin what he wants.

Where I disagree with Steve and other favorites like Gerald Celente is their love for people like Scott Ritter and Douglas McGregor. I feel that’s what’s happening to the majority of our conservative movement; It sees Russia as the rightful force of chastisement. Let us not be deceived, Russia and America are not allies. Let us not forget that because of their dialectical thinking, and the anti-Aristotelian mindset of the Russians, they often engage opposite strategies at the same time. I believe they are ready to start a war now, if the right moment comes. And it could come. But they also simultaneously take the long view, and look at their diplomatic options. This is what makes their strategies so hard to cope with, and why we must never allow them to get ahead of us economically and militarily at the same time. We have a ten acre place out in the county in eastern Washington. Next to us is about 120 acres owned by the BLM, and i had always wondered about it. Wild fires are a real concern in the summer, but the land just sits there and it seems neglect is the preferred management technique. I made a couple calls to the BLM and can tell you they are something to keep an eye on. The state of Washington is 42.6 million acres- BLM manages 247 million acres- that is 6 times the size of Washington state. The state of Texas has 172 million acres- smaller than BLM. Their holdings are both small and large pieces, mostly scattered across the western states. I am exploring their maps and policies just to learn about this giant and it is giant. If Trump got serious about a balanced budget, i can see smaller pieces of land being sold off even if just to streamline what they have to manage. I was told that there is supposed to be a full review of their holdings starting next year and into ‘26. The last one was in ‘85 and amended in ‘ 87. A lot can change in 40 years. Not sure if that is going to be the whole of BLM or just our area. These would be ideal raw lands for homesteaders. BLM is under the dept. of Interior. Of course deep pocketed investors would be licking their lips for lands declared as excess, however a well informed citizenry would be a force to reckon with. Current policy seems to point to a variety of issues in their decision making, monetary concerns are not the main driver and that is good news.
