End of American Empire Nears – David Morgan

More than a year ago, economic analyst and financial writer David Morgan predicted we were entering a global Great Depression. With massive AI layoffs, sky rocketing silver and gold prices, exploding debt and civil unrest increasing, it looks like Morgan was right—again. On the money side, demand is so shaky for US Treasuries that former Trump Federal Reserve nominee, Judy Shelton, was pitching a gold-backed US Treasury Bond on CNBC. Was Shelton running a flag up the pole to gauge the reaction for the White House? Morgan says, “You are not getting on CNBC and talking about a gold-backed bond unless it’s been, let’s say, approved by the powers that be. This is something that will help restore a sound monetary system with possible gold convertibility. Shelton argues that the US monetary system is unstable, inflationary and it erodes purchasing power. Shelton says a new bond with a link to gold would restore trust.” Morgan also contends this would add greatly to the already bullish environment for gold and silver.
Morgan sees the big picture and says, “When you study the end of the Roman Empire, one of the primary reasons it fell was everybody was pouring into Rome to get free bread and circus. Does that remind you of something that is going on now? . . .. We are at point where we are seeing the last phase before the end of the empire. The end does not mean it collapses and there is nothing left. When so many people come flooding in, and they want free bread and circus like the end of the Roman Empire . . . we know the end is near.”
End of empire has negative consequences for the currency of the empire. In this case, it’s the US dollar. Morgan contends central banks all the way down to the man on the street are losing faith in paper and want the real thing. No where is that more evident than in the silver market that is featuring record high prices. Morgan says, “It’s a paper driven market. You are given a contract where it says you can act on this contract, for this price, for this much silver. People like never before are saying, ‘Okay, put up or shut up. I want the silver. I don’t want the cash’ . . . because there is more demand for the monetary side as well as an insatiable appetite that keeps growing for industrial uses.”
On gold and silver, Morgan predicts at least another 20% rise in 2026, which would put the yellow metal over the $5,000 per ounce range. Morgan says the same goes for silver, which would put it at around $65 an ounce. War, a new round of QE (money printing) and massive interest rate cuts could drive the prices for both metals much, much higher.
In closing, Morgan says, “The run to gold goes like this. It starts as a very light walk, then a normal walk, a brisk walk, a light jog, a full jog, a fast jog, a light run, a run and then an all-out sprint to the finish line. Now, we are at a brisk walk to a light jog. What has taken place over the last few years is central banks are buying gold hand-over-fist in quantities never ever reached before. Why is that? Because the bankers know gold is the money of last resort. Gold is money and everything else is credit. They know what’s coming.”

Not sure, but a friend up the road that came here for Oakland area, very connected, had a friend a few years ago what would mention from time to time, might look up towards the moon about 3am..say some Thursday night, that worked at Lawrence Livermore Labs…yeah….thinking the U.S.A. has been working on something like that or has something like it already. Don’t have a good ASTRONOMY telescope to see what/if something on the moon was hit, but the pulse laser flash was interesting. I think too, that the ‘energy’ requirements discussed may have been solved with very small SMR reactors ? Kind of like an air defense system with generators of various sizes…each for separate function and some overlapping functions….and output needs. General acquisition, then tracking, and as the def cons go up – and then live where all functions are runs up from maintenance to 1hr.to 15 min to live etc. as all launchers and missiles get spun up or not kept ‘hot’ based on requiements. Thus 4 to 6 launchers were held at various levels as staying hot, degrades the circuitry like leaving a TV or such on all the time. As I mentioned above, I am Jewish and was brought up in a religious home. I became less religious because when we moved to Israel, my parents enrolled me to a secular school. They did not know about religious schools at the time. I still believe whole heartedly in God.
Most Jews do not pray to Jesus. We also do not follow the New Testament- only the Old Testament. I hope this does not shock you. This is the reality of being from an Orthodox Jewish family.
There are other differences between Jews and Christians.
I do get the gist of what you are saying. I will pray to God.

Really think the World will flock to a treasury, bond, etc backed by gold? Really think the World forgot or will overlook what Nixon did in 1971. World woke up one day August 15, 1971 and Nixon declared the world reserve currency “King Dollar” was no longer backed by gold. Vietnam War and LBJ’s “Great Society” welfare state required massive amounts of currency printing that could never be paid back in gold. US stuck it to the whole world then by doing that and put the entire world on a fiat paper currency backed by nothing financial system because it was the world reserve currency. “Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me” as the saying goes. What’s to stop “Peace president” or whoever follows him from doing the same someday? Moreover, sanctions, stealing another nations assets (e.g. Russia’s 300 billion) and weaponizing “King Dollar” has consequences (e.g. BRICS). BRICS want fair trade. They want something of value for goods and services. They trade among themselves using their own currencies. Their payment system does not allow use of the dollar, euro or pound. They comprise some 60% of world population and 45% of world GDP with many other nations that want to join. China used it’s fiat to build infrastructure while amassing tons of gold and silver. US used it’s fiat to spread war and chaos (e.g. 800 bases worldwide). The World no longer needs America for what it makes (except for Israel needs weapons and funds). The World can now get what it needs from other nations or are/becoming self sufficient. China just terminated chip imports from other countries for state owned businesses. US/WEST/NATO have a proven History of NO Trust, Credibility or Honor. Bottom line for Broke, Bankrupt (38 TRILLION in debt), Desperate, Bully Babylon is that it’s empire is in the process of being thrown into the dustbin of History like others in the past who foolishly followed the same path (e.g. “The Greatest Economic Collapse of Our Lifetime is Happening Right Now! – Finance Files. “Why Your Grandfather Didn’t Trust Banks” – Finance Historian. From a strictly secular perspective I own both gold and silver. And gold and silver are the best secular security on earth in my opinion. Gold and silver are a means to have true material wealth. So, yes, in my opinion everyone should have some gold and silver- if possible.
Having said the above I agree with the Holy Bible. I agree with Jesus’ advice and the example he provided as a man. For example, Jesus’ first recorded miracle was to turn water into fine wine. He just as easily could have spun straw into gold and made himself and his disciples rich. And, yet, he remained poor. Born poor. Lived poor. Died poor. All of the Apostles- including Paul – died poor and persecuted. Why? When you can answer that, you have indeed made spritual progress.
So, those of you who are materially poor don’t have to worry if you are spritually rich. Yet, there is nothing wrong with doing whatever you can to aquire some extra canned food, bottled water, warm cloths and boots for winter, spare cash, a first aid kit, medicine and a portable heater. There is nothing wrong with moving out of a wicked, violent city to a better place. There’s nothing wrong with moving away from a nuclear target and/or a place that’ll be wiped out in WW3.
Get some gold and some silver before it doubles in price again, if you can, but if you can’t don’t worry too much. We Christians should focus on preparing for “the day of Jehovah’s fury”.
