Middle East & South China Sea Heating Up, Dem Debate, Economy Sinking

6By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com (WNW 212 10.16.15)

It looks like the war hot spots in the world are getting hotter. Russia continues to punish anything or anyone that is against Bashar al-Assad. Russia’s top goal is to keep the Assad regime in power, and they are doing it. Russia is flying bombing missions every day in Syria. They are reportedly very effective. The White House says what is happening in Syria is an act of desperation by Iran and Russia. Russia counters by saying that America did not have an “agenda” or strategy, and the U.S. is the weakling on Syria and stopping terrorists. The U.S. has given up on training the so-called moderate rebels in Syria. The U.S. spent millions of dollars and only trained less than a half dozen fighters. It did make a stab at supporting the anti-Assad forces which, as I have said in the past, are in large part al-Qaeda. It dropped 50 tons of ammunition to the “moderate” rebels. You know terror fighters are getting most, if not all, of that. Talk about desperate and, while we are at it, let’s add stupid, the U.S. continues to openly arm terror groups. What kind of foreign policy is this? Not a winning one, that’s for sure.

Meanwhile, it is reported that Iran has 1,000 troops on the ground helping Hezbollah fighters. It’s one terror group trying to knock out the other terror group. To add to that, Cuba has also sent some troops and Special Forces reportedly in Syria. Cuba troops may be there to operate Russian tanks to help with the offensive.

Then, there is news that Iran has shown video and revealed some of its secret underground military facilities 650 feet below ground. It also showed off video test firing a new long range missile. Congressman Ed Royce, House Foreign Affairs Chairman, says some of this new technology may end up in the hands of Hamas or Hezbollah to attack Israel.

Speaking of Israel, violence has broken out in the Jewish State with many reported stabbings of Jews by Palestinians. The say the attacks are not being officially organized and are being done on social media. The Israeli army has been called up, and there is no sign of peace anywhere in the area. This could spin out of control and turn into a very bloody conflict.

In the South China Sea, tensions are heating up between the U.S. and China. China has built islands there and claims it is part of China. The U.S. is sending warships to travel through those waters because it says this threatens navigation. China is threatening military action for what it calls “ceaseless provocations” by the U.S. Japan also says it will patrol the waters of the South China Sea that China is now claiming the 600 miles long stretch as its own territory.

The economy continues to tank, and the mainstream media continues to lie about it. One story this week says the “Economy Inches Up.” This story contradicts itself. It says the reason for the slowdown in the hiring of workers is because of a “shortage of workers.” The next paragraph says the Fed Beige Book points out industry is “sluggish.”

Although China has been “holding back” military support to bolster Russia’s actions in Syria in deference to its economic ties with Saudi Arabia … if the US continues to violate “China’s Monroe Doctrine” in the South China sea … they may just get mad enough “to send boots on the ground” into Syria to clean up what the Russian Air Force is now softening up!

Omg! And our crappy government wants to bring them here!

Greg is clearly warning everyone about the money you may think you own in your bank account … as Greg says it can be seized at any time if a derivatives failure occurs … there is approximately $1000 Trillion (or a Quadrillion) in interest rate derivatives outstanding … lets be conservative and assume only $500 Trillion in interest rate derivatives outstanding are substantially under-margined … these derivative contracts were signed so as to protect borrowers from an interest rate hike in the future … when rates eventually rise “as the Fed is trying to do” … someone is going to be on the hook to make good on all these derivative contracts … just like in 2008 (when derivative contracts were written to protect from a sub-prime mortgage breakdown) the interest rate derivative contracts today will likely go into default “seizing up” the financial system … in 2008 when the subprime derivatives “froze up” the financial system the Fed had to crank out over $16 Trillion in new currency, swaps (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ksc2WJoXpg.), guarantees, bailouts, and other paper … the above link shows that today the magnitude of the “swaps” the Fed is doing is exponentially larger then what they were doing in 2008 … the global system being more leveraged than in 2008 (a derivative’s meltdown can easily bring the entire system down) … and because the leveraged debt today is so many times larger than in 2008 when the system was only hours away from a complete shutdown … a banking holiday could be declared any day now … so any money you currently have in a bank account is at high risk of being “bailed-in” and seized by the banks!

You may be saying “so what” … “I’m protected by FDIC” … well … don’t be so sure … not only doesn’t the FDIC have the money to make you whole again … but the Supreme Court has ruled that any money you have in a bank account “belongs to the bank” because by making a deposit you effectively “lent your money” to the bank … and although the bank owes you the “loan money” back … the money in the bank “is not really yours” … and therefore … the FDIC can say “that because the money is not yours” it has “no obligation” to pay you anything!! … (although it may be legally bound to pay the banks) but the banks will probably only get one cent on a dollar.

      Paul

As I understand it when you deposit funds in a trading bank you immediately become a completely unsecured creditor and the very last in line if the bank goes “tits up”.
There is nothing particularly new about this.

With the amount of nonsense and gambling that is now normalized in the casino that we call “banking”, when it all blows to pieces we will be very lucky to even get back pennies on the pound.

This becomes even more farcical when you consider that interest rates can now be zero in real terms [inflation adjusted] or in some countries even significantly negative! Our naive assumption is that they are looking after our money.
Sort of like…..well….. a fox looking after a hen house!
      Cheers

And the banks are not legal fiduciaries of your money either, the court have ruled it is a simple contract to pay it back to you, not as a higher standard if labeled a fiduciary status. You know who wrote the banking laws, you guessed it, the banking lobby, most of the laws are word for word given by the banks to Congress to simply rubber stamp. Banking law is incredible bias for the banks to do as they will with YOUR MONEY.

    • Jerry

      Paul.
You are absolutely correct on all points. Not that I’m an expert but I have followed the maneuvering of the cabal and they made two important moves within the last 12 months.
      1. Under the guidance of the United Nations the G20 in their November meeting last year deemed the money in your bank account as “not money”.
      2. Also following the G20 meeting last year in November our Congress attached a provision onto a bill putting the United States on the hook for approximately 16 Trillion dollars of European derivative debt.
Do you want to guess who gets to be the fall guy for the impending implosion?

      • Jerry

For those of you who have short memories, let me back up my last post about Congress putting us on the hook for European derivative debt with this headline from a year ago.
        http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/12/12/1351389/-Congratulations-chumps-You-are-now-on-the-hook-for-303-Trillion-in-Derivatives

While we’re all arguing over timing etc. etc. etc. etc. let me ask you the $64,000. question. Why would Congress do this in light of the fact that we already have over 125 Trillion Dollars in unfunded liabilities?

Let me give you a clue. I buy foreclosure properties for a living. I have yet to find a house that didn’t have all the equity sucked out of it before the owner defaulted on his/her loan. In short, when a house is on fire, it doesn’t matter how many boards you throw on the fire. Its still going to burn just the same.

        • WD

          Jerry,

What a coincidence, I deal with foreclosures as well, more on the anti-bank defense side but I agree with you.

They will destroy you for the houses they want and walk away from the ones they don’t want.

We file big fee liens on every house pre-foreclosure and the attorneys representing them go ballistic on this tactic and I mean enraged go figure…

Many times when we try to help a home owner in foreclosure, I will see a boat, 3 cars massive entertainment systems etc….I see why they are in foreclosure.

Jerry in my area there a re still a significant amount of foreclosures how about you?

Thank you for your weekly wrap-ups. So much is happening at a mind boggling speed. Your weekly summary does that for me, so thank you very much.

    Hi Greg
I came to the conclusion some time ago that Al Queda is a figment or a product of our paranoid government’s imagination. Where are their recruiting offices? Where are their training camps? Who is funding them. We really don’t know? We hear about the Yemeni branch of Al Queda. We hear about the Libyan off shoot of Al Queda. We hear that Al Queda is now ISIS or ISIL or IS or whatever. And this after two decades of warfare. Is Al Queda really an organized force or is it a mindset. Is any Muslim who doesn’t like America Al Queda? After all if you believe in the Bill of Rights this government has labeled you a “potential right wing terrorist”. Russia has accomplished in 3 weeks what we ALLEGEDLY have been trying o accomplish for two years and failed. Putin has shown to the world that our government is a bunch of pathological liars or incompetent or both. That is his most important achievement to date.

    • paul

No … ISIS is no figment of the imagination … it is a “real” CIA and Israeli operation … that’s not to say Iran has clean hands … according to Ron Paul … Iran does what the CIA and Israel do in covert operations also … http://www.ronpaul.com/2015-07-17/ron-paul-iran-hasnt-invaded-another-country-for-more-than-200-years/ … but at least they don’t attack their neighbors “overtly” the way Netanyahu has been doing … sending jet bombers to take out Syrian targets for the last two and one-half years … for Netanyahu to call Iran “a threat to peace” is like the pot calling the kettle black! … once we get rid of the Neo-con’s everywhere in the world … we will “be able to find peace” by mutual negotiation … don’t tell me deals can’t be made … we can avoid all the “cold-blooded” slaughter of Christian, Jewish, Palestinian, etc. women and children … if we sincerely want to do it!

    • RidgeRunner

Mia, you express my sentiments exactly. I try very hard to stay on top of economic, world and political activities, but it has become almost impossible for this 68 year old brain to absorb so much, so fast. Thank you Mia for your post expressing my own thoughts, and thank you Greg for being that “lighthouse in the fog.” God Bless You Greg, and keep up the good fight. Greg, in my mind, you qualify as a “Patriot”….Honest and Fearless.

Greg, out of the many things going on, can any give a reasonable answer as to why the government and military are preparing or have already relocated in Denver. I noticed that one of the dangerous research centers for disease’s was moved off a isolated island off the east coast to Kansas, though I can’t remember which island it was. John Moore, from the liberty man web site brought much of this stuff up, saying the government expected the oceans to leave there basin’s in our life time. I think, he was suppose to be one of the planet x insiders, that is on the web. I did a little research, and he was right on the info he presented about government agencies and portions of the military and CIA moving to Denver. Just thought I’d ask for any insight from your visitors.

Vladimir Putin’s real target: the world’s oil supply

The Russian strongman intends to control the world’s oil supply?

By Monica Crowley – The Washington Times – Wednesday, October 14, 2015

    It’s the oil, stupid.
_____________________________________________ Monica I hope you meant ignorant, not stupid and not us USAWatchdoggers!

Really, is that what Russian President Vladimir Putin is up to in Syria, Monica? [Do you blame him Monica, or should he wait to get rear ended, because he refused to let his country go along with the liberal fascist new world disorder of the broke busted and disgusted!]

In the early 1970s, President Richard Nixon succeeded in pushing the Russians [Soviet Union?] out of the Middle East. Today they’re back with a vengeance, thanks to President Obama’s policy of precipitous withdrawal from the region and overall neutering of American power.

Since Mr. Putin began his significant military deployment to Syria, observers have tried to get a handle on his motives [Not USAWatchdogger’s+We own the handle Monica]— from propping up his ally, Syrian President Bashar Assad, to using the intervention as a distraction from his Ukrainian intervention, to weakening NATO to satisfying the goals of the Russian Orthodox Church, to re-establishing a long-term strategic foothold in the Middle East.

All of these motives may be true. But they miss his far bigger gambit: seizing control of the majority of the world’s oil.

He coldly pursues Russia’s national interests?

His overriding interest is in reviving the Russian economy?

Mr. Putin’s Syrian adventure is really about directly threatening the nation doing Moscow the most harm — Saudi Arabia — by encircling it? [Didn’t the Saudi’s do the threating first]

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/energy/oilandgas/10266957/Saudis-offer-Russia-secret-oil-deal-if-it-drops-Syria.html

    http://en.alalam.ir/news/1551009

He’s really directed against Riyadh and the competing Saudi-Qatar-Turkey pipeline? [It’s always been about pipelines and Greg Hunter has been pointing that out for two years now, where have you been? Should have been here, USAWatchdog.com!]

    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-09-10/competing-gas-pipelines-are-fueling-syrian-war-migrant-crisis

Mr. Putin has long held the European gas market hostage to Russia’s reserves? [Held hostage? Russia’s been bringing gas to heat the homes and industry’s in Europe for decades. Even last winter despite all the vitriol directed at Russia and Putin, Europe had no other choice, or place to go and Russian Gas kept them warm and it’ll be the same this winter! Europe was hardly held hostage, Monica!

He is going to decimate the Mother of all Oil Producers? [If he did would you blame him? Have you learned anything here, Monica?]

The Saudis raised output by 1 million barrels a day, well above their quota, to create an even bigger surfeit — partly to undermine U.S. shale producers. [Yes Monica, but here, [USAW] we knew the bigger fish was mother Russia, killing two birds, err fish, with one stone!]

    http://oilprice.com/Energy/Oil-Prices/Did-The-Saudis-And-The-US-Collude-In-Dropping-Oil-Prices.html

“The Russians experience this as an economic war” — which to Mr. Putin is indistinct from a military one. [Monica, he didn’t start it but apparently is finishing it!]

Under the pretext of defeating ISIS, Mr. Putin has sent Russian special forces into Syria and Iraq? [Monica may I suggest you download this enlightening show, you might learn something, __ Date: Wednesday – September 30, 2015______________
    Host: George Noory_______________________
    Guests: Stephen F. Cohen_______________
In the first half, Professor of Russian Studies and History Emeritus at NYU, Stephen F. Cohen, reacted to Vladimir Putin’s decision to get involved in the Syrian conflict and commence air strikes against ISIS forces. Cohen summarized Putin’s position as arguing that the rise of ISIS was borne out of the power vacuum created by the overthrow of leadership in Iraq and Libya by the United States. In turn, this led to destabilization not only the Middle East, specifically the Syrian civil war, but also now in Europe via the refugee crisis. As such, Cohen said, Putin wishes to protect Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad in order to thwart the spread of ISIS because the extremist militant group will eventually send their fighters into Russia and create havoc there as well. Therefore, he surmised that the Russian intervention in the Syrian war amounts to an offer of a coalition with the United States against ISIS.

Cohen opined that forming this alliance “seems like the right thing to do,” but there are many factors working against it. He noted that the vilification of Putin by America makes forming an alliance with Russia particularly problematic for President Obama. Additionally, he explained that there are similar factors in Russia working against Putin forming any sort of partnership with the United States. According to Cohen, the third obstacle is the instability in the Ukraine, which could result in the United States and Russia being thrust into opposing sides, especially if forces there cause the conflict to escalate for fear of being abandoned by America in favor of this coalition. As of now, the American response to Putin’s offer of cooperation has been tepid and indecisive, despite pressure from European leaders who are in favor of it. Therefore, Cohen called on Obama to make a resolute decision about America’s role in the conflict before it becomes relegated to simply being a bystander.]

Great resource for 15 cents a day Monica! You can also hear many interviews of Greg Hunter.

Russia’s power play is working, as oil prices have ticked up recently. But Mr. Putin will not be satisfied with small victories. He’s in this for all the marbles.[Monica fill us in, just how low will he go and how do you propose to stop him, short of WWIII. Should we give peace a chance to such a war monger, or has Obama Come To His Senses? http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2015/10/12/obama-shows-strength-by-recognizing-the-failure-of-the-neoconservative-policy-paul-craig-roberts/%5D

Control the oil, control the global economy. And right now, Russia is poised to do both. [It’s your own dam fault Monica. If you would have done your homework or not hide the truth from the stupid as you like to call us. If the American people knew what what’s being hide from them, heads would roll [including ISIS] Things would not have to change for the better. Donald could retire a wealthy man and not have to straighten out the mess were in because of ilk like you!

Monica, cant wait to hear what your going to say back on John Bachelor’s show. Having worked for Dick Nixon no wonder you think you know Putin and Russia so well. I don’t think Putin would say he’s not a crook or a Soviet for that matter, but I do wonder if you’d say your a neo-conwoman or not?

I’m neither a republican nor a democrat, and I’m definitely not a socialist. Of the current batch of democratic hopefuls, I was most impressed by Jim Web. In comparison to the other candidates, he stands alone on many of the important issues, especially gun control, military expansionism, and immigration. On top of that, he is true war hero.
Although I suspect he doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell, it’s comforting to know there are some (though not nearly enough) politicians that aren’t pandering to the lowest common in our society.
On a slightly different note, what it is that makes people support Hillary Clinton? If there are any Hillary supporters on this blog, please edify me.

Not for long … As the crazy global “one percent” lose control of their “loony tune” Neo-con puppets … their dream for a one world government with “them” at the top is fading fast … even their manipulative control over the gold market is weakening …… the tide is turning since the trading desk at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) successfully took gold down in September 2011 when the Swiss National Bank (SNB) unleashed its currency peg (just hours after gold hit its all time high just shy of $2000 dollars per ounce) … now as China reflates at all costs … a big shift in investor psychology is taking place … hundreds of millions of Chinese (have dropped their infatuation with housing and stock bubbles) and are going back to the one asset class that history has shown to be the best defense against currency devaluation and runaway inflation … gold!

And following right behind China is the Fed … who will also reflate (creating currency devaluation and runaway inflation) and then Americans too will seek to own gold and silver as protection!

Reminds me on (more covert version) Calpers news letter from few years ago, which my wife gets in the mail. Most of writing was on positive note: that funds are properly managed away from risks etc, etc…Then, little sneaky sentence, written without missing a beat, buried in all that positivism which went something like this:
“…all members should expect proper pay outs provided that funds are available”!

Hi Greg – I’m a long time (4.5 years) fan of your work and also donate… thanks
for alerting the public and all that you do…

My local bank in MD was absorbed by BB&T. I received new banking
agreement. Please check out the areas on pages 3 and 7.
This clearly spells out, in black and white the following :

    1. The bank can refuse to give you your cash is they deem the request
a “security risk” or “a hardship to the Bank”. (page 3, item 9)
    2. Your relationship to the Bank is “debtor/creditor”. “Opening an
account does not create a fiduciary relationship between the Bank and
the Depositor”. (page 7, item 25)
    3. “You agree to be responsible to the Bank for its loss, costs, or
    expenses…” (page 7, item 26)

You can download the doc itself with a google search : BB&T Commercial
Bank Services Agreement, dated July 20 2015, PDF format.

this is insane… people have a hard time accepting where this is all
going. The bank is giving everyone notice, in writing, of what they
    are going to do.

    • Greg Hunter

      Kevin,
This was a great find on your part. This is really just good old fashion reporting from the street level. Bravo my friend!!!!!! Thank you very much for tipping me off to this, and allowing me to share it with the USAWatchdog.com community!!!!

      • Michael Harvey

Greg, I realise you can only speak on behalf of the American banking system, however , I would be interested to learn what your take would be on the European system.
The European banks are precariously balanced and I foresee an uprising(migrant issue) in Europe which will accelerate their demise.
I ask myself – Is one’s money better lodged with a financial institution such as your broker who is outside the reach of a goverment ‘grab’.
        Kind Regards
        Michael Harvey

        • Greg Hunter

          Michael,
According to Jim Rickards the fed overtly and covertly spent “10’s of trillions of dollars” propping up the European banking system. Deutsche Bank has more than $70 trillion in derivatives and Germany has a $3.8 trillion economy. I think it might be even worse in Europe but the problem is global.
          Greg

    • NC Gal

The date that agreement was published is significant because it shows how long it has taken since 2008 to get the bail-in policies mandated by the IMF et al IMPLEMENTED. They have been holding regular assessments of compliance for banks everywhere in the world, and the publication of this document by BB&T shows that the banks are now ready (in this country, anyway) to let the plug be pulled and “the devil take the hindmost.” DEPOSITORS are “the hindmost,” and will be dealt with last in terms of what is left after the implosion takes place.

    • JMiller

      kevin-in-maryland ,

I find nothing wrong with number 3 that states “You agree to be responsible to the Bank for its loss, costs, or expenses…as a result of your breach of the terms of this Agreement, your illegal or improper activity or your negligent conduct”

      • Greg Hunter

        JMiller,
How about the clause that classifies the “depositor” as a “creditor”? You good with that?
        Greg

        • JMiller

          Greg,

Sure, I am fine with that clause that classifies the “depositor” as a “creditor” because it is the truth. As you know when you deposit money in the bank it is considered a loan to the bank and the money now belongs to the bank. If I borrow money and have loans then the people who I owe are my creditors. And the reverse is also true. If I loan money to someone then I am that person’s creditor. So it seems to me that if I loan the bank money then I am a creditor of the bank.

If a person or business owes me money and they file bankruptcy then I need to file a claim as a creditor. So too, if a bank goes into FDIC receivership and an uninsured depositor needs to file a claim he files it as a creditor. According to the FDIC,

“Receivership creditors may include secured creditors, unsecured creditors (including general trade creditors), subordinate debt holders, shareholders, uninsured depositors, and the DIF (as subrogee). The FDIC is often the largest creditor of the receivership.”

          https://www.fdic.gov/about/strategic/strategic/receivership.html

Please note that you do not see insured depositors in that list but you do see the DIF (Deposit Insurance Fund) as a creditor and often the FDIC is the largest creditor of the receivership. The reason why insured depositors are not on the list and why the FDIC is, is because after the FDIC fulfills their role as deposit insurer, meaning paying insured deposits, the FDIC stands in their place as a creditor. Insured depositors have never had to file a claim as other creditors do. They have always got paid first and even before derivative creditors. That is how it currently is but of course is subject to change as everything is.

          • Greg Hunter

            JMiller,
Well, with an FDIC that has a fraction of the deposit insurance needed in a calamity, I am NOT fine with it.
            Greg

            • JMiller

              Greg,

I am fine with it as long as the FDIC can borrow from the Treasury dollars that are not devalued. But unfortunately that is what I think the real risk is going forward. A devalued dollar and some kind of hyperinflation. That is why I will continue to buy precious metals.

              • Greg Hunter

                JMillier,
Do you know how utterly stupid of an idea this is? “Borrow from the Treasury”? That would mean the Treasury would have to issue more debt and the Federal Reserve would have to print the money. What would the money be worth if there is an exponential increase in debt cause by a systemic meltdown? You cannot have it both way in this next crash my friend.
                Greg

      • kevin-in-maryland

not a bad point here JMiller… how about the banks being responsible for the loss of depositors money as a result of their illegal or improper activity, or their negligent conduct? This would be common sense, yes and goes without saying. I’m not sure what I could do to the bank to cause them a loss at any rate.

On another note, it sounds like the bank would make the decision (vs. a court of law) of what is illegal/improper/negligent and as a result : “You authorize the Bank to deduct any such costs and expenses from your account without prior notice to you.” This is just not reasonable or sane by any measure of fairness.

Again, good initial point though JMiller… thank you.

    • aussie jeff

      Excellent post Kevin,

If we already have not done it,now would be a good time to quietly,or to be more precise, by stealth, start with drawing all funds from our bank accounts.

No large withdrawals, dont want to raise any eyebrows (or put the bank under hardship;) siphon off everything except what one needs to pay utilities etc.

As Mia mentioned in an earlier post things are starting to move at a mind boggling speed, expect the unexpected.

      Thanks again Kevin.

      • kevin-in-maryland

        Hi Aussie-Jeff

practically you’re correct about stealthily removing money but this statement precisely illustrates the absurd, upside down, dystopian atmosphere we are living in. The fact that we feel like we have to modify our behavior to gain access to your own hard earned money is absurd and makes me quite upset… but you are right. Funny thing, in USA, if you withdraw amounts under the $10k reporting limit in a patterned frequency, the govt can come after you for that too – it’s called “structured withdrawals” and the feds claim this is a technique used by terrorists and drug dealers to hide cash movement; insane. Great, common sense feedback on your part though!

This is what is pushing the price of Gold up. As I have previously posted there are ongoing meetings behind closed doors to give the Yuan SDR.
    http://uk.reuters.com/article/2015/10/16/uk-china-economy-britain-idUKKCN0SA0ZG20151016

Members of the EU (like England and Germany) have already made plans to decouple from the dollar with the BRIC nations when the time comes. That is the reason Angela Merkel signed an agreement with China making Frankfort Germany the central trading hub for the RMB. The derivative market in Europe is beginning to unwind so I would anticipate a move by Germany before the G20 meeting in November.

As CLS has stated this is a planned takedown orchestrated by the banks. Those of you still sitting on the fence will loose everything you have if you have not put your assets and personal finances under your own direct control. Get you money out of the banks now. If you have 401K’s cash them in now. One half of a loaf of bread is better than no bread. The rest of you who want to ride the market out and take your chances. Good luck! You won’t be the first or the last to be fleeced by the bankers.

    • Jerry

This is why key members of the EU will be joining the BRIC nations in embracing the RMB and the new exchange system soon.

When it comes to reality most Americans are delusional when they think the world still wants to crash their own economies in order to keep carrying our debt. The Bretton Woods system has reached its shelf life, along with our ability to print money behind Reserve Currency status. Its no longer a case that we are withdrawing from the world as the MSM would have you believe. Its more a case that they are withdrawing from us, and along with it the dollar.

WAKE UP CALL! When it comes to business its all about the money. The IMF doesn’t care where it comes from as long as the get their hands on it. When was the last time the United States set up a trade zone? When was the last time the United States actually purchased Gold instead of leasing it or stealing it? The TPP doesn’t count because its nothing more than a hollowed out scam to make it appear we can compete with the BRIC nations and the Silk Road.

I have read comments here about China’s debt, and their un-ability to grab Reserve Currency Status from the U.S. To that I say Bull Hockey?
      – Where is the worlds largest manufacturer? – China
      – Where is the largest Banks in the World? – China
      – Who has the largest Gold Reserves in the World? – China
(unless your dumb enough to think its still in Fort Knox)
      – Who has the worlds largest military? – China
      – Who holds the largest amount of U.S. debt? – China

The very moment China request an audit of U.S. Gold holdings by the IMF. Its over! The markets will drop so fast it will make your head spin when they actually see what’s in the vaults. You can only continue a scam until you get caught. Times about up people.

And doomsday is now Nov. 15, am I right? Well heck, keep revising your predictions; we’ve been watching you do that for so long already.

It’ll be next year at the earliest…

        • Jerry

          Stan.
I can’t argue that. I have followed other people’s timelines who I considered to be insiders and have been wrong. The 15th of November is mine. Based on some information I have stumbled onto something major is going to happen in the European derivative market before the G20 meeting on November 15th? What it is, I have no idea. But considering the fragile nature of the world economy, our congress placing us on the hook for the European derivative debt, and the fact that our former EU partners flocked to AIIB like sheep this could be the “snow flake moment”. But what the heck? If it makes you sleep better thinking I’m wrong, go ahead and snipe all you want to.
At least I tried to offer something of substance to back up what I’ve stated. What have you got besides a gutless cheap shot?

By the shear fact you suggested only 2 -3 months worth of food to Susan tells how clueless you really are about what’s about to happen. Since you’re the expert tell me how long it took to recover from the Great Depression? Hint it wasn’t 2-3 months, and this is going to be much worse.

The obvious connect-the-dots epiphany on who controls and supports ISIS, was the free reign the much photographed convoy of yellow Toyota trucks had for 4 days crossing the desert, in spite of the most sophisticated satellite surveillance and the presence of US and Israeli jets that could have taken them all out in several strikes. Then there is the videotaped evidence of US arms and supplies being dropped to ISIS and the medical assistance to ISIS fighters from Israeli doctors.

We have to acknowledge the fact that the US military and CIA are now totally controlled by the neocons at the behest of their Zionist Rothschild masters. There will be major war, the historical game plan to distract from the global economic implosion and the permanent impoverishment of billions. God help us all.

According to the statement by the BB&T Bank, “Opening an account does not create a fiduciary responsibility between the Bank and the Depositor”.
I’m not certain there is a LEGAL obligation for a bank to act solely of its depositors (if not there should be), but I am sure there is a MORAL responsibility for a bank to act in the best interest of its depositors. As such, the BB&T bank is publicly confessing that-when it comes to depositor’s money -it isn’t trustworthy. As such, one cannot and should not rely on this bank, or any bank with a similar policy, with one’s monetary wealth.
I wouldn’t be surprised to discover that this isn’t an isolated case. Indeed, I suspect this statement is a matter of policy with all banks that are part of the Federal Reserve System, which by the way is almost every bank in these United States.
What the citizens of this country desperately need is a good alternative to the current banking system, one outside the auspices of the Federal Reserve. Regrettably, there is none (at least none that I am aware of). Yes, you can shove your money under the mattress, or bury in the back yard in Mason jars, but, sooner or later, he US government will begin its war on cash in earnest. At some point, they will outlaw cash altogether, citing some concocted (but patriotic-sounding) reason (like the war on terror) to justify their action. When that day comes, folks, we will be at the mercy of the all powerful OZ.
The handwriting is on the wall, folks.

Greg, some of Iran missiles technologies are already in the hands of Hezbollah, you can bet on that. The Iranian “deal” which I will remind you that said would not happen, which I knew better that our capitulating religion of peace, anti-Christian, political correct, anti-Semite Congress would stand down on, was and is a joke. Yes Greg, the Iranians were telling the truth about the deal, frankly, it was simply a no deal. Now Greg, I don’t brag about you being wrong on your call as Congress was photo-opping & acting like real statesman, that is before the “deal” was given to them, then at that point it time came the complete capitulation. My point is a “no deal” evaluation was reasonable to assume; just somewhat naive in still believing that Congress would ever do what they say they will do; I take no pleasure in being right. That leads me to Hillary Clinton, you predict she will never be the nominee and or President. The coronation has already taken place as to the nominee; I do wish you are right on this one but I fear you will not be. As to becoming President, not sure if Mr. Trump can overcome all the “give-away” that the candidates were spouting off about this week at their debate. Remember, the majority of Americans have now an entitlement agenda and relationship with the Government, not likely for those persons to change their thought and vote for a Republican, even an interesting candidate like Trump. Clinton knows where the bodies are buried at the White House and if Obama wants any type of legacy he better not fool with Hillary or she will tell all, possibly even about his knowledge of where he was born and his secret Muslim religion, among other statements he has made in private; one can only speculate how many times he has stated negative comments about Christians & Jews, to speculate on just a few possibilities. My point here is, Hillary may well be given a pass from the FBI because the new Attorney General will do as Obama wants. We shall see, thank you for all you do. From the Western Front

    • art barnes

Greg, you were absolutely correct that “if” a deal was done with Iran it would ramp up war not lower the tension in the area, very astute on that one, I don’t think anyone could have thought it would only take a month to see the ramp up. By the way, Iran is putting it out front trying to embarrass Obama, but I don’t think our Muslim in Chief can be shamed.

      • susan

Obama only does what his handlers allow him to do. They give him the drugs and his family the favors and he does exactly what they tell him to do and follow his teleprompter. He agrees with their plan. They had to find someone religiously compliant as well as internationally compliant.

The world is changing from the dollar to multipal currencies. 2/3rd of the world has signed on to the Asian International Infrustructure Bank. China has last week opened the China International Payment System. Iran has now opened there oil reserves. Saudi has made agreements with oil trade with Russia. The Shanghai Gold exchange is opening soon. All of this is to bypass the use of the Dollar. Without the ability to print Dollars at will we become a third world country over night The Wallmarts, Krogers, American own gas stations, Everything we now have access to are going to soon be a thing in the past. Have a plan to get out of the cities when people get the news there pensions, and SSI will not be paid. Have some food and water to give out to those in need. IT IS COMMING. The number 1 on the list at the next G20 meeting is how to save the world from depression. Not how to keep the American banks open. Get to know some prepper minded people. Map your way out of the city. A little plan is better then a big man.
    Ok critics tare it apart.

Big cities will be hard to get out of unless you are already ahead of the curve which should help by being 24/48 hours ahead of the unbelieving sheeple hopefully giving those who live in such places time to get out!

I find it alarming that the Russians, Iranians, Cubans (now Chinese also?) are militarizing Syria & Iraq while simultaneously, Arab-palestinians are terrorizing Israelis in Israel. Talk about a possible “black-swan”, how about a potential and real Armegeddon? It seems to be gathering steam each day.

People forget that at least under Assad (a Shia Alawite) in Syria, there was Stability, Law and Order until the (Sunni) Arabs began supplying groups opposed to him. The Christians and other peoples (Yazidis) there were flourishing under Assad, now mostly murdered or enslaved by these other (AQ, IS) groups. Tragic!

Greg, you are right there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between AQ, ISIS, al Nusra, Hezbollah, the FSA or any other terrorist group (Iran et al). Heck, in Afghanistan we have the various Taliban & insurgent (HAQ, HIG) factions declaring allegiance to IS.

It is madness to give any of these groups support.

  21. Russ

Hey Greg — So we’ve got war in the Middle-East, freedom of navigation operations coming to the South China Sea (something we’ve done regularly with the Soviets/Russians) and the economy is cratering. The third issue may be the reason for the first two, which is probably where you were with the Gerald Celente quote about “when the economy goes bad they take you to war” aka externalize the problem.

The M.E. has been at war in one way or another for centuries — Sunni/Shia/Kurd makes no matter, so arming both sides keeps them occupied. Russia getting involved and taking control of the “war” changed the game. What was O thinking when he gave Putin an opening to enter the war; Putin supports Assad and has supported the Syrian regime for decades. How was Russia entering the war and attacking everyone who was not Assad a surprise? Putin is going to support his guy and anyone else on the battlefield is a target. Absolutely no surprise there, so why did O invite Putin to the party? Was this O thinking he was the smartest guy in the room and discounting advice from the Pentagon or did O really want to hand Syria over to Putin and thereby support Assad? Hmmm, that would be good for Iran and possibly bad for Israel. Something is rotten… Some day we may find out but for now it’s just a rhetorical question.

Freedom of Navigation Operations (FONOPS) have been conducted by the US Navy routinely for decades. See http://www.marinelink.com/news/navigation-operations365086.aspx
The Chinese should not be surprised that we would challenge their claim to a 12 mile territorial claim to what was once a sea-lane used by commercial shipping through the South China Sea. China’s claims are excessive and should be challenged.
(I wonder how much ecological damage was done to those SCS coral reefs? I’m sure the Chinese don’t care.)

No surprise that the MSM is reporting a confused picture about the economy. Even they don’t believe the c–p we’re being fed, so it’s no surprise that the economic news is something of a non sequitur. Regular followers of your interviews should be well prepared regarding potential bank bail-ins. I have no idea when that shoe is going too drop, but when it does the game will be about over — bottom of the 9th. By then you should be in the parking lot trying to stay ahead of the crowd.

BB&T was one of the banks that had to be bailed out under TARP in 2008. That language saying that there is NO fiduciary relationship between the depositors and the bank is very telling. When Glass-Steagall was repealed, banks were free to gamble in any way they wanted, so now that Dodd-Frank is in place, depositors are really giving banks money to gamble with and the banks have no responsibility to the depositors. In fact, between the recent changes in bankruptcy laws and Dodd-Frank, depositors would only get paid AFTER derivatives losses were settled, IF there is any money to pay them (including FDIC coverage). The survival of the bank takes precedence over that of depositors, and the bank is not required to exercise caution in any of the actions it takes.

On another note, I saw that Social Security payments will NOT be adjusted for inflation in 2016. That is an indirect declaration that there is no inflation in the items that are used to calculate the COLA, and of course those items do NOT included the ones that people most need in their everyday lives. More lies and unfulfilled promises!

The “debates” on both sides look more like TV entertainment than debates about real issues and none of the candidates seem to possess even a modicum of the kind of perceptive and sane leadership needed to turn things around. However, there may not BE any elections at all, so it all may be totally moot. We shall soon see.

Greg, why is cuba in syria now? And what was Obamas purpose in softening relations between them and the United states earlier this year? It just seems weird. Beyond that, I’m wondering if what we are seeing is the unfolding of Isaiah 17 where damascus is left a ruinous heap. I was reading some of your comments from earlier in the week where you took some flack for stating that Russia might turn an attack israel. That’s exactly what is going to happen per the word of God. The only question that remains is if this current build up will fulfill those prophecies of 3000 or so years ago.

    • aussie jeff

Htc agree totally,a possibility is that Israel now being hemmed in and not able to do bombing raids over the golan heights due to syria having russian defense hardware in place, this may cause enough anxiety for Netanyahu to nuke damascus, with russia then over running Israel, interesting times ahead.

      • Greg Hunter

        Aussie Jeff,
Russia will not over run Israel–no way.
        Greg

        • aussie jeff

Hey Greg, i believe its a possibility,if not Russia directly,Russia will create an enviroment, for her old arch enemies to invade her.
While Israel is God’s chosen people, the old testament gives us evidence that when Israel listened to God and obeyed Him,no army could come against them they would win every battle.
Conversely, when Israel would turn away from God,they would get their pants whipped!

The question arises then,at this particular point in history where does Israel as a nation sit with God?
Are they listening to Him?Or have they turned their face from Him?
…….For starters, they are bogged down in Judaism, they refuse to recognise Christ our Lord as the worlds savior, that would be a little bothersome to God i would suspect?
While Israel will eventually be glorified as God’s chosen possession, she must first come to terms with her unbelief, and that means Israel is in for a rough time, however her long term future and prosperity is guaranteed by God himself, first though must come repentance.

          • Greg Hunter

            Jeff,
I like you so let me say this is a friendly disagreement. I just don’t see it that way. Nowhere in the Bible does it say Israel will be over run and destroyed. That doesn’t mean there is not going to be bloodshed and war surrounding Israel. Here is one reference: http://www.gotquestions.org/end-times-Israel.html If you ask the question Will Israel be saved? I think the answer is a resounding YES both spiritually and physically. Here is more on that: http://www.gotquestions.org/end-times-Israel.html I don’t pretend to be a Bible scholar, but I have never heard that Israel will be destroyed for a second time. Extreme problems, yes, total destruction No way.

            A Fulfillment of Bible Prophecy

Some Evangelicals believe that the modern State of Israel thus fulfilled a Bible prophecy. For example, in the book Jerusalem Countdown, clergyman John Hagee states: “This momentous occasion had been recorded by the pen of the prophet Isaiah, saying, ‘A nation shall be born in a day.’ (See Isaiah 66:8.) . . . It was the greatest moment in prophetic history of the twentieth century. It was living evidence for all men to see that the God of Israel was alive and well.”

Is that statement true? Did Isaiah 66:8 predict the establishment of the modern State of Israel? Was May 14, 1948, the “greatest moment in prophetic history of the twentieth century”? If the modern State of Israel is still God’s chosen nation, and if he is using it to fulfill Bible prophecies, this would certainly be of interest to Bible students everywhere.

Isaiah’s prophecy states: “Who has heard of a thing like this? Who has seen things like these? Will a land be brought forth with labor pains in one day? Or will a nation be born at one time? For Zion has come into labor pains as well as given birth to her sons.” (Isaiah 66:8) The verse is clearly foretelling the sudden birth of an entire nation, as if in a single day. But who would cause this birth? The next verse gives a clue: “‘As for me, shall I cause the breaking through and not cause the giving birth?’ says Jehovah. ‘Or am I causing a giving birth and do I actually cause a shutting up?’ your God has said.” Jehovah God makes it clear that the dramatic birth of the nation would be his doing.

Modern Israel is governed as a secular democracy that officially makes no claim to rely on the God of the Bible. Did the Israelis in 1948 recognize God as the one responsible for their declaration of statehood? They did not. Neither the name of God nor even the word “God” was mentioned anywhere in the original text of the proclamation. The book Great Moments in Jewish History says this of the final text: “Even at 1:00 P.M. when the National Council met, its members could not agree about the wording of the proclamation of statehood. . . . Observant Jews wanted a reference to ‘the God of Israel.’ Secularists balked. Compromising, Ben-Gurion decided that the word ‘Rock’ would appear instead of ‘God.’”

The modern State of Israel to this day bases its claim to statehood on a UN resolution and what it calls the natural and historic right of the Jewish people. Is it reasonable to expect that the God of the Bible would perform the greatest prophetic miracle in the 20th century in behalf of a people who refuse to give him credit?

How Does the Modern Claim to Statehood Compare?

Modern Israel’s secular attitude contrasts sharply with the situation in 537 B.C.E. Back then, the nation of Israel was indeed ‘reborn’ as if in a day after being devastated and depopulated by the Babylonians 70 years earlier. At that time, Isaiah 66:8 was strikingly fulfilled when the Persian conqueror of Babylon, Cyrus the Great, authorized the return of the Jews to their homeland.—Ezra 1:2.

The Persian King Cyrus recognized God’s hand in the matter in 537 B.C.E., and those who returned to Jerusalem did so for the express purpose of restoring the worship of Jehovah God and rebuilding his temple. The modern State of Israel has never officially declared any such desire or intention.

For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ◄ Romans 6:23 ►

            1 Peter 4:17
For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

You are right, Aussie Jeff. Judgment is about to befall Israel for her sins. (Zechariah 13:7-9; 14:1-3) But I would opine that the same judgment is also about to befall apostate Christianity who have turned from the Truth in God’s Word. The spiritual condition of Christianity is not much better than the spiritual condition of Judaism.
Orthodox Judaism has refused to accept Yeshua as their Messiah; Christianity refuses to obey His teachings and instead fulfill Isaiah 5:20: Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

A day of judgment comes for all who call on the name of the LORD, but do not obey Him. It will begin with His children, and woe to the rest of the world after the LORD has cleaned His house and turns His attention to them.

We shall receive judgment, because whom the LORD loves, He chastises.
The “world” shall receive God’s wrath.

            Hebrews 10:31
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Yes when you put money in a bank it is NOT a deposit- it is an unsecured loan to the bank . When US banks get around to negative interest rates bank deposits will be legally sanctioned theft. Here is why:

Negative interest rates are a form of theft. The longer a depositor holds money in a bank the less money there will be available for withdrawals.

    Bank Deposits are Not Bailments

Charging to hold items of value, like gold, silver, jewelry or even cash in a bailment arrangement is not theft. A bank depositor arrangement, however, is not a bailment. Banks do not store depositors’ money.

Negative Rate of Interest Loans Are Not Theft

A bank deposit is nothing more than unsecured loan by the depositor to the bank. It would be quite an odd arrangement for someone to loan another party money and only ask for a portion of it back. Perhaps in a time of severe and persistent deflation such a loan might be made. Receiving less than your principal back on such a loan would not be considered theft either.

What makes negative interest rates theft is that banks to whom depositors lend money do not store the depositors’ physical cash or guard and insure it against theft. Instead, banks create legally sanctioned reserves from depositors loans in multiples of those loans that they then use to conduct their businesses. Click here for an explanation of how fractional reserve banking works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vk7P119QcRc&t=6m50s

Since banks are chartered and sanctioned by governments, this fractional reserve banking and central bank mandated negative interest rate scheme becomes a license to steal depositors money each month. Of course, one is free (still) not to loan money to banks and avoid the monthly sanctioned theft, but given a bank account is required to pay taxes and most bills, it is not a practical option. Thus, in order to function in the economic system one must keep some money in a bank account and allow the bank to raid it each month.

Just for fun … I went back to see what was occurring during the huge spikes in the Fed’s reverse repurchase agreements as shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ksc2WJoXpg. by Maloney … and what I find is that when the Fed was injecting repo and reverse repo Treasury collateral into the banking system in 2014 … JP Morgan had just “sold” it’s headquarters at 1 Chase plaza (to Fosun International Ltd. the largest corporate conglomerate in China), the National Bank of Chicago and the Doral Bank of Puerto Rico were all on the ropes … so it goes without saying that the current “even greater” Sept 2015 “Treasury collateral injections” being made by the Fed into the banking system right now must be an attempt to forestall “an even worse financial problem”!

Will the Fed’s current actions be enough to prevent a bank holiday in October?, November?, December? … we’ll soon see … but I know one thing for certain … a Bank Holiday “is scheduled” for New Year Jan 1, 2016 … the question I’m asking myself is … “will the banks reopen on Jan 2, 2016?” … so being prepared … just in case … as Greg has been warning … is very good advice … especially during these periods when large repo and reverse repo purchase agreements are being made by the Fed “to inject Treasury capitalization into the banking system” … likely to cover some “unannounced financial default” in progress … surely as Maloney says: these Fed actions show “something is coming”!!

    Greg,
I love you weekly wrap ups. But, you missed the cut in social security benefits for next year. The announced that there will be no cost of living increase. The increase is supposed to be based on the CPI ( I believe). And, they are going to have a Medicare INCREASE. That means recipients will receive a net check decrease. And nobody is going to bat for this and it isn’t being picked up by the media.

    • Greg Hunter

Thank you Mark for adding it here.

isnt it obvious that TPTB could care less about US citizens and especially seniors They consider us useless eaters Frederick

      • steve R

The problem with SS is that it is mathematically a ponzi scheme and it will collapse entirely or be payed to future retires with worthless hyper inflated dollars. The workers who today are being taxed to pay current check recipients will most likely get nothing in return for the money that is stolen from them each pay cycle. If you are a senior on social security today you are one of the lucky ones since you most likely will get some if not more than you put in , and more importantly you are being paid back with dollars that can actually buy something.

  28. John

Wow! Quite the weekly wrap up. If these revelations got your attention, try Googling “Flight Attendant Bombshell” and watch those videos. They fill in the blanks not presented here.

    Greg,

For years now you have been breathlessly pointing out to us that the sky is blue, and now that many of us are beginning to see this for ourselves we wonder what exactly it is that we should do about it.

In your opinion, which carries with it hundreds if not thousands of hours conversing with people having a significant amount of insight into this whole situation we are in, what should we do?

I mean, beyond piling up as much food and water and gold and bullets I can get and simply waiting for society to collapse and global war to break out, which by the way will kill us all, what is it we can do?

What is it that Greg Hunter sees to be the problem here and what is it that you personally believe needs to be done to address it? We know where it is you see things going Greg, and most of us agree. Could you share any thoughts you have on how this all could be averted or at least mitigated? What would it take to prevent all hell from breaking loose? In your opinion of course.

    • Greg Hunter

      Brian,
Nothing can be done to prevent it and nothing is going to change until after a great calamity.
      Greg

      • brian

You know, the sad thing is you are probably right.

    • Jerry

      Brian,
I can’t speak for Greg, but you need to understand that our government our banks our court system and our military have all been hijacked by a criminal cabal hell bent on forming a new exchange system under a NWO. At this point, I would suggest taking whatever steps are necessary to save yourself and your family.
      – If you are in a city, get out now if you can. All of the metropolitan areas will be locked down once martial law is declared, using the expressways as a defense perimeters. I have personally seen a UN staging area being setup close to an airport in my area, so I know preparations are in the works.

      – If you have food storage and water. You need to start using it now so you will become familiar with how to prepare it and learn what other provisions you might not have. Things such as antibiotics, vitamins, bleach, and personal hygiene items are invaluable in survival. I like a solar shower myself and have used one for years backpacking. You can get an inexpensive one at Walmart for about $20.

      – Water is extremely important. Without it you will die within 3-5 days. I asked a city engineer a few weeks ago how long water would last that is stored in the city towers if the power grid went down. He said 3-5 days, so as soon as the SHTF you would want to store as much as you can while its available and make a plan for a long term strategy like gutter run-off.

There is much to learn and so little time. If you’re not prepared I would suggest a book entitled ” The Ultimate Suburban Survivalist Guide “.

I moved to a rural area 35 years ago in anticipation of the event that is coming. My friends at the time called me crazy . They call me crazy now . If you don’t do anything, plan on meeting them at camp FEMA in a few weeks. 90% of Americans are not prepared for this. They blindly put their faith in a government that has sold them out.
      Don’t be one of them.

      • brian

Preparing is good, but I am of the opinion that any preparations I make will only increase my level of comfort and will have zero impact on my chances of surviving. When things get wild enough living is just a matter of luck, and that just sucks.

        • aussie jeff

You may think this sucks as well Brian but im going to say it anyway.

        • paul

Brian … if you believe in the Constitution that our founding fathers gave their blood, sweat and tears for … and you want to prevent all hell breaking loose … then fight against this … http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/constitution/item/21732-lawmen-reveal-federal-agents-consider-constitutionalists-a-threat … in any way you possibly can!

          • paul

Constitutionalist’s recognize that man was created by God … with two(2) fundamental rights … 1) “life” (granted to us by the Creator) and 2) “freedom to choose” (even if it’s the wrong choice i.e. like eating a forbidden apple) … but living life with the freedom to choose requires that we also accept responsibility to “pay the price” for our freedom (the way Adam and Eve did) … today people want it easy … they accept their “liberty” as defined in the Bill of Rights as the “right to life” along with the freedom to choose to “pursue their own happiness” … but conveniently forget about the responsibility part … that they have a responsibility to pay the price for those liberties … Adam and Eve worked by the sweat of their brows to guarantee these liberties to their children … but today many will not stand up and accept responsibility to take the pain that goes along with freedom … those who do take the pain to defend the Constitution by every means possible are considered a threat by federal agents who work for “elites” who don’t want mankind to have any God given rights!

        • JC Davis

Brian. I have had the same thoughts. I started studding weeds mushrooms, and other survivor skills not so much to live myself, but to help others like me that can not live under any form of government less the Freedom. Having food and cloths let us be content. My latest find.

Yes preparing is good, but the sad thing about prepping with material stuff is that some people get so consumed with it that they don’t really enjoy life.
Prepping yourself spiritually with Jesus will give you the peace that is needed to pass though the storm on the horizon.
Jesus is the shield, protector, provider, healer and saviour.
Get born again, read the Word, get consumed in Him and find out who you really are in Him.
          100 percent survival rate guaranteed.
Luke 4.28 – 30 comes to mind when they went to stone Jesus and throw Him down the hill, He passed though the midst of them and went His way.
          Ya that for us too….sweet.
          Cheers Doug
No such thing as luck, just grace.

          • brian

Doug, I think that we should pray to God for the strength to bear the reality of what this world really is, what it has become and how it is we have cheapened our lives and degraded ourselves in the sight of the very God that loves us; because the gravity of our position is probably just about to become agonizingly and undeniably clear to all of us as it falls suddenly upon our shoulders.

What kind of foreign policy is this? It is that of a wicked nation. America now has a generation that knows of nothing but perpetual, unconstitutional wars; unjust wars in the eyes of God.

Presidential candidate Ron Paul dared to suggest that US foreign policy follow the ‘Golden Rule’ (Matthew 7:12). He was booed down. Just listen to ourselves, choosing which nation to defend or attack as if we are playing fantasy football. Satan is smiling on this once God-fearing nation.

What can a Christian do? Ask yourself, ‘Are you a Christian first or American first?’ There is now a great divide between the two. Speak out against unjust war. Fear not the flag wavers or their wicked government; Christian persecution is nothing new.

    • Grafique

I’d be interested in knowing how you can speak for God, saying “unjust wars in the eyes of God.” How do you know God didn’t lead our nation against another?
The answer is, you don’t know.
By the way, I’m one of those “flag wavers” you warn against. Better watch out for me; I might do something wicked, like stand up for my Constitutional rights.

      • sk

Grafique! Where does the Constitution state that you have the right to bomb Iraqis, Libyans, Iranians?

        • Grafique

          Article I, Section 8.
Don’t go saying I approve of every military action by the US.
But I wouldn’t dare claim to speak for God.

          • sk

The only possibly relevant parts in Article 1, Section 8 are as follows: “To define and punish….Offenses against the Law of Nations” and “To declare war….and make Rules concerning captures on Land and Water”. What do YOU understand by “Law of Nations”? I would say this means international law, not arbitrary rules made up by US to fulfill its ambitions of the moment. “To declare war” is very clear. Are you saying that the US can declare war at any time, on any nation that it decides it does not like? Again, international law defines very strictly WHEN a country can declare war. And lying to create a casus belli, as the US did in Iraq, is NOT acceptable.

      • Diane D

Grafique, name one constitutional, just war in the in the last 70 years.

        • Grafique

I don’t have to. You’re the one who claims to speak for God. You tell me how you know what wars God finds just or unjust.

Folks like you who look down from your lofty perches at “flag wavers” ARE the problem.

Greg even though all these markets are distorted and manipulated, don’t you think these central bankers are so powerful that they can keep this distortion going on forever as long as there is a will there’s a way. Sad but true. Just like the mafia changing of the guard doesn’t change the goals.

  35. Mary Casey

Hello Greg. So timely! Thank you and your reader for the BB&T document.

Just in yesterday’s comment section I noted that, while I understood it to be true, I have not seen any documentation to support that deposits are an “investment” in the bank. The banks are preparing to secure their “bail-in” up front; instead of a “bail-out” post collapse. They see the future and are preparing to steal our money; no wonder they are also preparing their hide-out bunkers….they will need them.

In addition, as an investment, they are actually negating any obligation to us. (And as an investment, and not a deposit, FDIC does not kick in if we lose it.) They have all the bases covered!

And we don’t need a system-wide “derivative disaster” to lose our money; the individual bank itself only needs to default for whatever reason.

  36. Linda louin

    GREG:
Your wrap-up was right on target, and the art work quite telling (very good). I’ve wondered often why Hillary hasn’t been arrested yet (exposed for the nasty, lying criminal that she really is), but then decided that POTUS/handlers are abiding their time, allowing her to run wild about the country (expelling all her energy, time, resources), and then when the timing is right for them, they’ll eliminate her from the race by the most humiliating means. We’ll see soon.

    • Greg Hunter

      Linda,
I think the Obama Administration is in the process of devaluing her as we speak. So, we agree on the basic premise of he demise.
      Greg

      • art barnes

Never happen, she has too much on Obama & Company, they know she will ”kiss and tell”.

        • Linda louin

          Art:
Hillary may have a lot “too much” on POTUS/handlers, and this may be the biggest reason why she isn’t sitting in a cell right now. However, because this woman is a complete screw-up, she won’t become the next president. If she was stupid enough to run government/classified data through a private server, compromising US security, do you really believe that she’ll be allowed control/to be in charge of the highest levels of top secret data in America as our next US President? In addition to, other than being an ex first lady, Hillary’s credentials (as SOS…Benghazi) just don’t make it for holding the highest office in the land (everything that she has touched has turned into a disaster). I’ll wager that when the time is determined, Hillary will be unable to run for office, and I think that a way will be found to make this so. I’ll leave the details to your imagination.

          • Greg Hunter

            Linda,
Might I add, Hill just said on CNN that nobody signed off on here use of a personal server. She is no longer in control of these emails and they can pick and chose what they need for prosecution. The FBI is looking at “gross negligence” under the Espionage Act and they certainly have a case on that point alone. If that one charge sticks, then Hill can face up to 10 years in prison. There are many laws broken and many felonies can be charged. Hill will never be president for a variety of reasons, and “server-gate” is but one.
            Greg

            • art barnes

You simply forget its not the FBI who prosecutes its the Attorney General’s Office; Obama won’t allow his AG to do it, no way Jose!
Obama is scared of Hillary, she can out him on so many fronts, in fact, Obama is so scared of her he is probably getting Biden to stand down.

        • Occasnltrlvr

I think that’s a two-way street, and I think the Clinton body-count is much higher.

An air drop to whoever gets theirs hands on the weapons? Why? Is it a favor to a defense contractor? This is our tax money, wasted in a dangerous way, once again–the Syrian version of Fast and Furious perhaps.
Was anyone surprised by the “troops in Afghanistan” announcement? I thought not. This was more of a page from the Bill Clinton play book to me. Vlad getting all the headlines . . . Obama had to steal some of his thunder. Funny, the U.S. Generals had been trying to persuade Obama to do this for a long time but he sees fit to do so only when his reputation is in danger.

Good stuff Greg. I live in Canada but as I recall before his first election Obama promised to fundamentally change America. Well as an observer it seems to me that your leftist

Not a legitimate voice on the subject……

I wonder what Catheribe Austin Fitts would say? 😉

    • Greg Hunter

      Bill,
I quoted U.S. Representative Ed Royce (R-Calif.), as Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. As far as Ms Fitts, she said the Iran nuclear deal would lead to peace in the Middle East. We all know how well that is working out.
      Greg

      • Bill Jones

        Thanks Greg

You are right. He is a legitimate voice. I should have said taken with a grain of salt given where his campaign funding is coming from. I think we would mostly agree that more transparency in Congressional funding would pretty much be a helpful thing for the process. We need more care and process before initiating new wars IMO.

I want to refer readers back to the posts I made each Friday during August. In those posts I mentioned the NDAA for 2016. That will be sent to the President this week. He will sign it in a matter of days. Then the stock market will crash and the dollar will devalue very rapidly.

This is not speculation. This is a warning. The market crash will not–I repeat not–involve the IMF or any decision about China or a new reserve currency. Stock activity is extremely dangerous. To be avoided.

You will want to have cash on hand in large amounts of small bills. The Fed will prop up the dollar, but it will continue to drop through the first half of next year. For that reason, you will need discrete amounts of silver for use along with paper.

Folks have been mentioning the 10/20/15 (next Tuesday) as a date. Is that date in play? Is it safe to say we don’t get out of October before the event you are warning about? Thank you. I know things are getting bad just using logic and overt sources.

        Hello Greg
Not sure why you pander to cls posts. Way to much mystery and speculation that attention seekers spew for the attention people give (her or him?).
Now that Oct 20 date is the day after the Canadian election and if we elect the liberals, that’s it we coming down to take over, most likely Arizona.
        Cheers Doug

Scroll down to the Title “Ukraine”. Lethal aid (which CLS referred to) is mentioned here.
Given the explicit direction of the lethal aid, one would have to consider that a CYBER Attack would be in play …once it is signed off. Who could perpetrate such attacks…many including Iran, China, Russia, Syria, House of Saud…..!!!

I hope that everyone is well.

I would like to emphasize again: the president will sign a very large increase in military aid to Ukraine in the budget for the 2016 NDAA . Someone recently asked me about this aid, and I repeat here what I told this person: the budget increase will be for lethal aid. The final amount of this aid will be 1.2 billion dollars. This will occur just before a collapse in the stock market, accompanied by a rapid drop in the dollar, by roughly 30 percent. Plans anticipate very high unemployment going into next year. The Euro has been written off. It will be allowed to die.

You will see various attempts at propping up the American dollar, and they may work for a brief time, but I want to be clear that I do not see how these attempts can succeed for very long after the crash.

I and others like me cannot conscionably participate in what is going on now in the media. The news is completely immoral and without a conscience. It is evident now that the media are very actively pushing aside the truth in the past few days in order to lock up the exits.

Thankyou for this venue. I will attempt to post this information each week in order to keep it in public view.

        The crash is being manufactured.

With the death of the Euro, a new currency will be unveiled, instituted by France and Germany.

The word that I have seen concerning next year’s elections is “suspended” not cancelled.

Watch the currency markets: the dollar is being bumped up to clear out traders. When you see the large NDAA defense budget increase, look for a crash in the stock market accompanied by a single drop of 30 to 35 percent in the dollar.

Inflation will continue to rise. These events involve no deflation.

Events have begun to move politically rather than financially. A lot of the pressure is coming not just from China but from within the U.S. at the state level. The U.S. military is not really a single entity any longer. What you are not being told by the media is that governments are fracturing nationally and internationally. The changes that are being planned are primarily political not financial.

I cannot stress this enough: events are now political, rather than financial. Power is about to begin to shift from the U.S. to Europe and a new European currency, not the yuan. Tension will continue to increase between the U.S. and China and between the states and the feds. You are about to see more exposures of people and groups in high places. Pay attention to the many “retirements” that happen in the coming year. The markets will continue to weaken, and then they will crash around the specific events which I have given you above.

Hilde, thankyou for showing an interest. The section on aid to Ukraine is what you will want to continue paying attention to. The house and the senate have each passed a bill authorizing a relatively small amount of lethal aid. This aid is what your articles are referring to. The congress will reconcile these bills when it returns from recess. Specifically, what I am referring to is what happens after that. Pay attention to Obama: at the very last minute he will increase the budget for Ukraine in the 2016 NDAA passed by congress. The final amount of aid will be 1.2 billion dollars. This will come at the last minute, after the congress has done its work.

When you see this last minute increase you will know that the stock market will drop very quickly, and the dollar will devalue by about 35 percent.

Brian, let me give you some real insight into the way things are unfolding: people are preparing at the highest levels for very bad things–they are doing bad things and preparing for bad things. Events are more complicated than you seem to believe. The entire global arrangement of power is falling apart. People here talk a great deal about the AIIB or the BRICS. They don’t appear to have a real grasp on the situation as we speak: I can tell you that China has been complying with sanctions against Russia, to bring them to the table over Iran. And then they went and started buying oil from Africa instead of Saudi Arabia. And then Saudi Arabia started talking with Putin on a way to hold Iran and Syria. Together they began to lower oil prices against the U.S. and Chinese interests. And now China is ready to exit the sanctions because we seem unable to comply with the Vienna Agreement. All of which means: no sanctions, no reserve currency.

Having guns and ammo and food and so on is important, but that really isn’t going to help you or anyone for what is coming, not in the way that you mean.

Would it surprise you if I told you that at the highest levels no one believes that they can take control of the globe? None of these people really believe that buying an island is anything other than buying time.

        Pray.

Thankyou for your comments. Around the time of Fukushima, some people very high up made the decision to let Japan sink. They wrote it off. Japan has been collapsing ever since then. This decision was made for various reasons, part of which was the radiation from Fukushima and the failure to play ball with the economic model internationally.

The events coming in the U.S. will cause enormous hardship for the Brussels and the Euro. And yes, for Japan.

        Cryptic Little Sister08/16/2015 •
I was referring to something rather arcane. The important thing to recall is the fact that the markets are being intentionally destroyed. A crash in the dollar and a collapse of all paper is not an accidental “collapse.”

I would like to add here the following points which I wrote about in a previous post:

The word that I have seen concerning next year’s elections is “suspended” not cancelled.

I am asking you to have faith that the events to which I am referring will come to pass. Be patient. It will come. When you see the events come to pass, that will be your proof.Cryptic Little Sister08/07/2015 •

However, belligerent, one important question has been asked and never answered: What is the source of CLS’s information?
Because Cryptic Little Sister will not even confide privately to Greg about “her” source that he might assure us of CLS’s validity, then CAUTION and SKEPTICISM are needed in regard to what CLS confides.
Is it possible that CLS is a government troll?
CLS warns us to trust no one or no other sources of information (they could be planted to manipulate the sheeple), but perhaps in reality, CLS is the one planting information to manipulate.
History is replete with war stories about the enemy infiltrating the ranks of dissidents to spread misinformation and to gain insight into their operations/mindset.
        If then, why not now?
Historically, it has been the tactic of the enemy to drop crumbs of truth to gain trust before leading the unwary to their own destruction.
I have interviewed Vietnam vets who told about the bottles of Coke (laced with acid or broken glass) that the Vietnamese children offered for sale to the American soldiers. It was learned the hard way, to be wary – even of children.
This is a time of great deception.
Caution is always the best policy, especially with someone who purposely cloaks oneself in mystery to intentionally intrigue USA Watchdog’s readership; and one who is unwilling to give proof as to their source(s) of information or trustworthiness, even to Greg in private.
Jesus warned of this time of deception.

    Greg;
    Tops as always.
I say Obama is getting exactly what he wants. Out of the Middle East! And e doesnt care how many die to make it happen. They meant it when they said Putin could drown in it. That is the way Obama thinks. He has proven it over and over. HE sold out the military, the CIA, our allies, the American people in country and even his puppetmasters. His coalition of supporters are happy too. You have the poor little rich hippes from the sixtys, the trust fund liberals who mostly hate their benefactors because every check is proof that they are failures, largely brainwashed black Americans who actually believe he identifies with them and actually cares about them, huh! and other assorted American hating Libtards including the people we saved in WWII from the Nazi’s. They are all getting payback by destroying our country. At this point with this kind of leadership , I am for cutting and running from every theater. Who would follow these people to war. I say there will be no war, Obama won’t touch China and they know it, that is why they are taking all they can rght now. When our Carrier pulled out of the Med Sea, it was all over except the derision of our Commander and Chief. I bet Putin almost feels sorry for our once great nation and the people here that he still respects. He knows our wimp and chief and worse most of the people it took to win an election twice are nothing but shrapnel fodder. He would rid the world of them in five monutes out of disdain if he did not know the reminant would make him pay.

  45. Davis in Charlotte

Hillary Clinton’s campaign continues its slow, painful and oh so deliciously public decline. While there are indeed serious legal questions about her private email server and the DOJ and Congress may be conducting investigations, I have serious doubts that they have much real purpose beyond torpedoing her campaign. There are just to many bureaucrats in the DOJ and judges on the bench that were appointed by her husband who would place every conceivable obstacle in the way of her maleficence ever coming before a jury.

Beyond the above there are plenty of establishment Democrats who are fed up with the Clinton’s and their holier than thou, take no prisoners style. I would compare it to the Democrats themselves leading the charge to pass term limits on the Presidency after FDR’s death and the end of the war. Quite simply, it’s a matter of “enough is enough”.

Those private moments at Chapaqua must be excruciating. Hillary’s seeing her self-entitled Presidency slip through her fingers yet again must be painful, both physically and emotionally. The thought of slipping into political irrelevance must be horrifying for her.

Not that she will blame herself or her blatent criminal incompetence for her demise, leftists never do. Introspection and or self doubt just are not part of the linier thought process of an American leftist. Like any leftist she will lash out at her enemies, both real and imagined, starting with her husband for having talked her into undertaking the fool’s errand of another campaign. Next in line will be her staff for failing to sufficiently protect her from her own failings. Then will come an assault on the MSM for betraying her by not being sufficiently suplicant to her highness’s entitlement to the crown.

With this last element having already been started with one of her staffers going so far as attacking the New York Times as have going over to the dark side and becoming a “(M)outhpiece for Republican propaganda” I can only imagine the vitriol and invictive being hurled about behind closed doors.

I can only speculate that the is one hell of a lot of schadenfreude going around, beginning with her Secret Service detachment whom she has always treated like something she had to scrape off the bottom of her shoe. Seeing that gleeful smirk on their faces as they overhear one of her tirades would be a picture that paints a thousand words. Next would be lower level members of her staff and the DNC that she has no doubt treated little better than her Secret Service body guards. The list only gets longer from there. I don’t think there a lot of people around her the actually think “I feel your pain”. Well except maybe Bill or some staffer who didn’t duck quickly enough to dodge the closest in reach object she threw at them.

As for the rest of us, her political demise can’t come soon enough. It will be something akin to the moment after Hitler pulled the trigger in his bunker in Berlin. For many of the staff the first thing they did was take out a cigarette and light it up. A physical act of saying “Thank god that’s finally over, can we get the hell out of here now? ”

Exile to Chapaqa may be like being locked in gilded cage. But I can’t help but think that the combined isolation and hearing Bill’s bimbos squeal in the guest cottage (there would no longer be any impediments to his full on debautchery) would be its own special kind oh so richly deserved hell.

As to Hillary’s problems let me say “frankly my dear I don’t give a damn”.

  46. Miro Markovic

Thank you, Greg, for a very nice weekly summary of current news!
There are few points that I would like to add, if I may, in order to compliment your fine presentation.

First, after the Russian military sent 26 cruise missiles from the Caspian See to the western Syria, the American plane carrier “Roosevelt” immediately left the Persian gulf. It is interesting to observe a very fine political message that president Putin sent to president Obama. Namely, Roosevelt was the 26th president of the USA and Russian sent 26 (not more, not less) cruise missiles. What a sneaky political symbolism!

Second, the PR China has officially introduced its own version of the SWIFT as Chines do not want to be intimidated by Americans in the case of any hot conflict between those two big powers.

Third, the Russian government, headed by the premier Medvedev, had announced that Russia is dropping all western credit cards (Master Card, Visa Card, and the others) by the end of December, when the national Russian credit card(s) will be available to their citizens. This will represent a major lose to the American business. Beside the above, the Russia, Federation will introduce its own version of SWIFT by the end of this year, because they don’t want to take any chance to be cut off from the SWIFT in Brussels, which is completely controlled by the USA.

George Green (who now lives in Ecuador I believe) years ago said in an interview to have cash on hand, but only in denominations of $20 or less, and coins of course. If cash is scarce or not rapidly available, going into a store with a $100 bill and expecting change for whatever you buy may be hard.

CLS, I understand your need to protect your sources or not reveal how you post the information that you do, but per chance, would you explain why you have chosen Greg’s Web site to post your comments? What attracted you to this Web site in the first place? I am not asking you to disclose your background, of course, but just to understand a little better your thought process. I don’t find you posting elsewhere unless you use a different alias on different Web sites.

I was struck by your previous comment that you do not go to the majority of alternative news sites, such as the Drudge Report or ZeroHedge. To be sure, one has to be very discerning on the Internet these days, with all the propaganda and misinformation that is purposely posted to confuse.

Very Interesting … Mitsui (one of the largest business groups in Japan and one of the largest Precious Metals trading corporations in the world) will be jumping ship and closing down its operations in New York and London by the end of 2015 … which reinforces the idea that the manipulation of the gold and silver price is “nearing an end” … most everyone is disgusted with the fraudulent “paper” gold and silver markets on the Comex and LBMA (which host the biggest Ponzi schemes in history … using massive “paper” gold and silver leverage … and fraudulent inventory reports submitted by both bullion banks and Central Banks that won’t allow a visual confirmation or independent audit) … things are becoming unglued … as people in their right mind no longer want to do business in an atmosphere of such evil … Mitsui will continue its operations out of Tokyo and Hong Kong.

Humm … looks like Netanyahu is “on his own now” if he wants to fight Russia … with the US leaving the Middle East like a dog with its tail between its legs … seems Israel is being left to fend for itself … with the Russian bear breathing down Israel’s neck will Netanyahu still pursue military confrontation or negotiate??? http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-10-16/obama-withdraws-aircraft-carrier-support-middle-east-just-russia-unveils-its-syrian-

    • paul

The longer Netanyahu takes to negotiate with Russia … expect the final deal to be a bad one for Israel and its people … he can likely get a better deal now … so why not make Russia “a partner” in its gas fields and thus provide Russian protection to Israel from an increasingly strong Hezbollah who may soon be given S-300 missiles!

According to Paul Craig Roberts … Obama is no longer taking orders from the “loony tune” Neo-cons … now more intelligent people are advising him! http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-10-11/paul-craig-roberts-decisive-shift-power-balance-has-occurred

    • paul

If Paul Craig Roberts is right … the hoped for “Coo” that would throw “the bad guys out” in Washington … just occurred … overthrowing the Neo-cons (who were creating turmoil in the world) so as to bring about their one world government.

      • paul

CLS … Are the above political and military actions taking place the thing everyone was expecting as “the big event” to occur in October? (namely the political coo in Washington and no US military support in the ME for Netanyahu and the rest of the Neo-con”s) … or … will it be “a backlash to the coo” by the Neo-con’s that we must still worry about?

    Greg,

I went to my local BMO Harris bank and briefly played the branch manager a couple minutes of this WN Wrap-up concerning BB&T bank. He laughed, chuckled, and called it fear mongering. But when pressed, he did verify what you said. Once I make a deposit, it falls within the “debtor/creditor” relationship. He agreed the FDIC does not have near enough to cover all deposits, but he cannot foresee any cataclysmic events that would lead to a systemic breakdown in banking.

He went on to explain if a “little old lady” came to cash out $200,000, he wouldn’t do it even if he had the money. He said he could be liable. Then he explained that if I wanted to wire $50,000 to someone in Hong Kong, because I just met someone and wanted to give them money, he would not do it. It would be similar to a bartender being liable for over serving a drunken customer.

    • Greg Hunter

      Buck,
I don’t know what is so damn funny. He just confirmed you money is not yours in his bank. He laughed while backing up everything I said. Now that’s funny! Thank you for sharing this story.

    Greg,

A lawyer we deal with for work, told me that they are starting to reduce student loan debt for those accounts that are delinquent and in default. He said he his helping out one of his friends son’s with another matter and was shown a letter stating to this fact he then showed me a copy.

I never thought I would see that….25 cents on the dollar….dont know if this is a big deal or not…

    Thanks

    • Greg Hunter

It’s a big deal when you consider the student loan debacle is more than $1 trillion. They ought to be going back on the universities and going after their endowments.
      Greg

      • WD

“They ought to be going back on the universities and going after their endowments”…. great comment!! The Ivy league schools have a combined endowment of nearly A trillion dollars.

I think they can pony up since they love socialism so much…

    Hi Greg,

I hope it is okay to use your forum for a question regarding your website. Not necessary to post.

Is there a way to search your site for comments by a particular person? I would like to read all comments by CLS, for example.

    Thanks and blessings.

Greg, I would be interested in knowing how the USA media is reporting the Syrian crisis. The UK media in unison are reporting it as follows:

    a. Russia is hitting all the wrong targets. Suddenly the Turkish premier who was considered a pariah and dicator a couple of months ago is now considered with reverance and his utterances that out of 70 odd targets, Russia has only hit 2 ISIS targets have hit all the wrong targets, have been repeated and repeated as fact.

    b. That experts are warning that Russia will make the crisis much worse leading to a massive increase in refugees.

    c. Intelligence is claiming that Russia is failing. Their airstrikes are not making any ground and in fact ISIL has made grounds.

    d. Military advisors are stating that Russia is now a real threat to Turkey and the UK and its allies will send support to Turkey.

    e. And today, Western officials fear that the joint Russian and Iranian offensive may enable ISIS to claim more territory. ( can you get more crazy than that?)

I am just wondering what they will say if the combined Russian, Syrian and Iranian and hezbollah forces sweep through Syria and stabilise the country and refugees are welcomed back. Because if they manage to do this, they will move onto Iraq and it will draw into question Western policy over the last 10 years.

The saddest thing for me is that I believe Russia could have been an ally in the problems with the Middle East rather than an enemy and possibly they were getting to close to Europe for some peoples comfort.

    • Miro Markovic

Mr. Charles Turner, may I help you? If you want to know what the USA TV and printed papers are reporting regarding the Russian military activities in Syria, you don’t need to dwell too hard on that question. In short, they are spreading the same propaganda like in UK. However, if you want to know the other side of the story, check the http://www.rt.com. You will be totally surprised how much of lies are circulating around. The ‘Russia Today’ (RT) writes in English, Spanish, and Arabic.

Important … a liquidity crisis must be affecting the banks badly … they have just “banned cash” in Greece … authorities unveiled stricter capital controls for civil servants and pensioners this weekend … expect these actions to come here soon … the bankers are drastically limiting cash withdrawals and forcing the people to use more “controllable” plastic money that doesn’t drain limited physical currency … civil servants and pensioners are being subject to “stricter capital controls” than the rest of the population … they will only be allowed to withdraw €150 per week … with the cash withdrawal cap being €420 per week … that is a total of €600 per month … the rest of their wage or pension will have to spent using a debit or credit card … US citizens should take heed … to avoid cash withdrawal limits in the future … you must withdraw your cash now!

  59. paul

Obama just announced that he will prolong the withdrawal of American troops (protecting the poppy fields) in Afghanistan until the end of his term in office (2017) … does he think this will lessen the Taliban’s resolve? … the Taliban are fighting to eliminate and destroy the evil poppy fields destroying young lives … are we going to stay there for 200 years? … that’s how long it took the Crusaders to try and make a dent in the Muslim’s resolve back then … and it eventually only resulted in a draw!

Greg, I remember reading part of a book, by a guy by the name of Pike, titled something and Dogma, that a friend had. Supposedly a big illuminati guy, of the NWO. The plan for the middle east was to array the different ethnic groups and religions against one another until depopulation and control of world could be more manageable. I couldn’t remember full title, though I’m sure some of your readers will recognize it. A socialist global government and a world religion was the end aim of this dark book, and the Catholic’s were to play a major role. God will only put up with this junk for so long, before he come’s at his second coming, and sits up his millennial reign. What we’re seeing in all this global shuffling, is satin’s efforts to bring about his greatest ambition. Isa. 14:13-17 is his ambition to be worshipped like God. The apostasy recorded in the epistles as a last day event, has been here for awhile. I believe the Catholic pope and church, along with the ecumenical movement will be satin’s tool for accomplishing this last stage of religion without Christ, on earth. The world is being prepared to be devil worshipers. In my view, the real believer will have to be gone, in the rapture, before this final form can have its full expression. May the Lord continue to bless and grow your outreach, so others that are seeking truthful media with a Christian flavor may find an alternative to the deceptive main stream news networks.

Supposing that we (US citizens) can live beyond the O presidency (with the Pentagon’s military complex, “Federal” Reserve, IMF, Kissinger, etc.) without a major war, I wonder how new leadership will turn the tide with the same minions of the elites still firmly behind their desks. Are we to depend upon Russia and China to stop them?

Greg, I have one single question. How many military bases does the US have around the globe as compared to military bases of any other country? An answer to this question would explain a lot. The real reason for the American involvement in the Syrian civil war is not the freedom of the Syrian people, but business and political interests of the US government. Your interests have cost the people of Syria too much.

    • Greg Hunter

Governments in Europe are there too my friend.
