China Could Reprice Gold to $100,000 per Ounce-Bill Holter

22By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com

Financial writer and gold expert Bill Holter contends China has enormous debt problems, but a very good plan B. Holter explains, “China used fiat debt to build real infrastructure, and when the system blows up, the fiat debt blows away and they are left with infrastructure. Do they have 20% bad loans? They very well could and probably do. If it is true that they are going to have a debt blow up, don’t forget China has been importing big tonnage of gold for years now. Over the last five years, they have imported 9,000 tons of gold. Their way out is the old way out. The old way out was to revalue gold higher. They could revalue gold and step up and say they will pay $50,000 or $100,000 per ounce for any and all ounces for sale. You can’t say there is not enough gold. What you can say is that it’s not priced correctly to support the system. If they have an implosion of debt which leaves their balance sheets impaired, the way to recapitalize the balance sheets is to revalue the price of gold higher. It creates capital, in other words.”

How about the U.S. debt problem? Holter says, “That does not and cannot work for the U.S. because we have offloaded our gold. Simple math tells you the gold that China received has to come from somewhere, and that only somewhere in the world is Western U.S. vaults.”

Could the U.S. still have its more than 8,000 tons of gold? Holter says, “That’s pure ‘hopium’ that the U.S. still has their gold. Common sense and logic tells you that the gold is gone.”

So, has the U.S. budget and debt ceiling deal fixed anything? Holter says, “If they didn’t raise the debt ceiling, there would have been an immediate implosion. You have to understand, Americans are the only people on earth that aren’t laughing at the debt ceiling. Foreigners are laughing at it. You are talking about $20 trillion. It can’t be paid. We are at 110% of GDP already, and we’re the reserve currency.”

Holter goes on to say, “It’s another bubble. It’s going to burst, and the banks are in worse condition now from a debt to equity standpoint. Nothing has changed–it’s just bigger.”

Holter worries about possible deals between Saudi Arabia and Russia that could impair the petro-dollar. Holter says, “The (dollar) dam is leaking, at this point, because there is less and less use of the dollars around the world. . . . If Saudi Arabia were to say we’ll accept euros, yuan or rubles for oil or if they said we won’t accept dollars anymore, that’s like pulling a center piece out of a dam. It will break, and it’s over for the dollar. They could do that, and they could get bombed back to the stone-age, but I am sure it’s been talked about.”

Holter says there is “no rule of law,” and criminal activity has suppressed the price of physical gold. Holter says, “We have been through a four year period of time where paper gold has been pounding the price of physical gold. You have people who were strong legged, hard money guys who are weak in the knees now, and they shouldn’t be. My hope is we can strengthen some weak knees, to not sell you only insurance in a financial Armageddon. It is mathematically coming. There is absolutely no possible exit with the system intact and the rule of law.”

Bill is right … back in the 5th century 1 oz of gold was worth a years salary … and $50,000 to $100,000 fits right in the ballpark!

    • Michael214

In my opinion when people make these kinds of predictions it only make them appear as though they are guessing like the rest of us. Another example is Greg Mannarino’s “market top” then “crash” repeated calls over the last few months, where are we now? From a trading perspective the other Greg called nothing more than a standard market correction. My point has been all along that until people wake up and loose confidence in central planning and government, “NO BODY KNOWS” what they will do to keep the “status quo”

      • Bill Holter

as I said in the interview, it is not a question that can be answered. The only answer is MULTIPLES higher.

    • Tod Mills

It is frequently said that one ounce of gold has had the power to purchase one fine suit of clothing throughout history. How does that correspond with your claim? One thing is that is very different now is people are hugely more productive than they were in the 5th century, thanks to advances in technology. Of course, that could quickly change with something like an EMP event. Robotics and 3D printing add even more complexity, the possibilities are uncertain and diverse. We know the elites want a greatly reduced population. Maybe an EMP event with resulting massive die-off followed by the elites wheeling out their Faraday cage-protected technology to begin life with lots of robots and only a few humans.

      • paul

Tod … It all depends on what the meaning of “fine” is!

      • KingTut

Perhaps its not on your christmas list, but you can easily spend $50,000 for a full man’s outfit. Just go to 5th avenue in NY and buy the most expesive suit shoes belt hat etc. you can find. And that’s not the most expensive.
The orginal quote comes from ancient rome, where one ounce of gold would purchase the best quality mens outfit: toga, covering robe, sandles, belts etc. It’s not precise, but it’s still amazingly close.
Another is a 1/2 oz. silver fity cent piece would buy 2 gallons of gas in 1950, and at $7.50 it buys 2.5 gallons at today’s low prices.

    • marian

gold is on its way below 1000$ Bill and Jim are blind .They do not accept reality. And gold 100000 may be in next millenium

    • John

Even a big time famous “paper” pusher like Jim Cramer himself has advocated 20% of one’s portfolio in real physical gold, though some might want to do more. If anyone doesn’t believe that just watch the video of him doing so in no uncertain terms over at http://freegoldinvestmentguide.com/. If that doesn’t convince anyone to look at real physical vs. paper maybe nothing will.

Invaders recently arriving in Germany get paid lots of money to spend how they like. They get paid more than many German welfare recipients.

    They are generously incentivised.

Multiculturalism is just a code word for White Genocide.

Merkel is implementing the Kalergi plan and is rewarded for it. She won the Coudenhove-Kalergi award a few years ago.

    • paul

Jim … I think it is about time for the United States to give [a Gift of Friendship] to each of its European Allies … for its immoral role in creating the unceasing stream of 10,000 Muslims a day into their countries (already up to a million migrant Muslims have landed in Europe this year) pushing infants in strollers and elderly parents in wheelchairs, carrying children on their shoulders and their meager life savings … they come in search of “a new life” where Neo-con bombs and weapons can’t be dropped on their women and children!

These displaced Muslim people and refugees are the greatest flood of humanity ever seen in recorded history (60 million in all) and they are on the march in numbers not seen since World War II …. they come not just from Syria … but from an array of countries and regions the Neo-cons have been bombing with unceasing ferocity … including Afghanistan, Iraq, Gaza, etc. as well as a dozen other nations in sub-Saharan and North Africa.

How about our Peace Prize Winning O’bomber signing an executive order to build and send a 400 foot tall Statue to each of his allies … of a Muslim women in a Baraka holding a torch in her right hand … with the inscription …

“Give me your huddled Muslim masses … Yearning to be free of Neo-con bombs”

    • Art Barnes

“Multiculturalism is just a code word for White Genocide”, couldn’t agree more, ever since the early Northern Europeans climbed out of the stone age they have been systematically attacked for their culture & belief systems, not to mention their intelligence. In this country the multi-culture agenda of Obama and Company is expanding now to reduce the last of white culture to extinction. As a white man I have always embraced the cultural distinctions of the planet, I never condoned genocide of any kind, however, now I clearly see the the left has planned the non-violent extinction of the white culture(s) for about 70 years now and have been quite effective at it. The lefts new religion of political correctness is highly effective at spearheading the movement of white genocide. The fight is about over here in the U.S. but Europe’s white culture remains in tact for the most part so the agenda has moved to northern Europe, spearheaded by the Muslims invasion, first they flood in, take the entitlements, demand equal or plus rights over the citizens of the host country, then take it down and drive the white culture out or silence them into submission with political correctness; sound familiar, if not, just look around out here on the western front, looks like a third world country today, seven languages in seven miles around here. The U.S. white culture has been silenced into submission, the leaders first, then the citizens follow as not to be rude to the poor underprivileged immigrants, whether legal or illegal, this was right when the Europeans came over to Ellis Islands without their hands out only wanting to work and become and American, not any longer, no more “huddled masses”, now designer shoes & jackets yelling for “free” everything. The white culture may have been silenced but the invaders are loud and clear. Yes, genocide by submission may well be a better term that describes where the white culture of America is at now, the Europeans are not getting their turn at bat and I suspect it won’t turn out any different there than it has here; there goes their Christmas trees, Sunday church, & rights to rights to voice against the genocide.

      • Art Barnes

I wanted to add also that in my humble opinion this country is toast for the white culture, I just hope the shortly forthcoming multicultural political correct cultural powers will give some tolerance toward the white minority during the extinction/submission phase once full transition has taken place. If not, we will understand because if you didn’t take a stand you have no right to complain. I suspect though that once the multicultural assumes all power the white minority will see the full fury of the hate for the white minority culture. Lost of rights, imprisonment, its all coming, the hand writing is on the wall, just look around and read it.

        • Silence is Golden

          Jim & Art,
          Both are hititng the bullseye.
IS’s agenda is to rid the world of the Infidels. Europe is blinded with political interference.
They are infiltrating all western societies in order to fulfill the dream. Europe is testament to that FACT. Russia and USA remain as the last vestiges of Christianity in scale.
Look behind the creators of the ISIS regime. There is intention and instruction which is very clear. Importantly the drivers of this scheme desire world domination achievable not through normal machinations of geographical War. The WAR comes to every city. It will bring about a great social cataclysm.

          • susan

Maybe when it all falls apart, the war of the races will begin. Who will win? Throughout middle America the Caucasians will take over, but on both of the coasts, who knows. It will be interesting.

        • Charles H

          Art,

I view the sea-change against whites as something which they will term – justifiable retribution. This will allow the shallow pretext of benefitting for themselves, upon the persecution of others. Only one Sovereign said He would visit the iniquity of the fathers upon up to the third generation. It looks like people are trying to get into that act.

    • Mike

Perfect plan in Germany for guys like you Jim.

      • hoopshound

Hmmm, I think it would be fair if the non-whites treated us whites with the same dignity and kindness as, say, the white southern slave-owners treated their black slaves. Would that work??

        • Greg Hunter

          Hoopshound,
You are living in the past. Newsflash, we have a black president. What a great country!!!
          Greg

        • brian

hoopshound, when you get into your 30’s see if you still harbor such simplistic sentiments as that which you just expressed here….until then, my advice is just enjoy being a young lad and try not to speak more than is necessary.

        • Art Barnes

I have lived for a while now here in the U.S., I have never treated a black disrespectful or owned a slave either, neither did my father or grandfathers. In fact, I always went out of my way to be kind to post slavery decedents cutting them a lot of slack when many certainly didn’t deserve it. Your rude comment Hoopshound is a testament to your “can’t forget or forgive” mentality. You also might try reading about 500,000 union soldiers who shed blood in 1861-65 to free our present day slave decedents, of which several in my family died young in that war to do just that, although I didn’t know them I suspect their brother, sisters, & mothers and fathers grieved at their loss. when the dreaded letter came home. Frankly, you appall me, your mentality and attitude is certainly the present day winning side, but when there is no more white minority due to your sanctioned genocide get ready to pay your own bills.

          • GA

As all history textbooks, the information is always a bit skewed. From my reading, the not so “Civil” war was about state rights/big government, not slavery. It was a terrible war for all. In war, there are no winners, just losers..on all fronts. It is a rich man’s effort.
On July 26, 1833, In England, the abolition of slavery bill passed its third reading in the House of Commons. Three days later, William Wilberforce , who spent most of his life working towards the this goal, died. From what I understand, it was his Christian values that prompted him to devote his life to this cause.
The not so “Civil” war started in 1861 and ended 1865. I highly doubt the US was unaware of this monumental event for 33 yrs!
The black/white divide should be a thing of the past for us, but when those with a lot of money can promote it through funding as well as media control, it transcends being a ground roots issue and becomes someone’s personal cause.
We are living in the end times for sure.

        • Thoams

Get out of your parents basement asap!

        • Jim

If the criteria for deserving genocide is that some of your race in another continent had slaves 100 years ago, then you are way off target.

The first recorded slave owner in the US was black. Blacks still have slaves in Africa. They fed them high starch foods to fatten them up for the butcher shop. Black Africans deserve to die by your reckoning.

Slave ownership amongst American Jews was 10 times the rate of whites.

Why is Israel therefore not being overrun? It’s closer to Syria. You are just anti-white.

Diversity is supposed to be a gift, that only a hater doesn’t like. Yet, it is also a punishment inflicted on the white race for historic wrongs. Which is it? A blessing or a curse? well that depends if you are an anti-white doesn’t it. You are an anti-white.

Anti-racist is just a code word for anti-white.

Diversity is just a code word for white genocide.

Weaponized sympathy is a weapon of mass destruction.

        • Cedri

Blacks still practice slavery in Africa. Does that mean you hate Blacks just the way you hate Whites?

      • Jim

Anti-racist is just a code word for anti-white.

Mike, you can’t hide your hate.

      • Lazy horse

So Mike, just because Jim does not agree with the destruction of the White race, you seem to think he should be punished/killed/destroyed too.

Now I’m sure there really is evil in this world.

      • Jim

Anti-whites don’t try to deny it any more.

Instead they try to justify white genocide.

Why are you justifying white genocide Mike? Are you anti-white?

    • Hairy Herry

I visited Germany in 2012. There was a protest in the town where I was hosted for a fortnight in regard to Neo Nazis trying to stir up the pot. 2,500 were in the kilometer’s long parade. My how times change!! Today’s events with these refugees will be by far the most viable to get these Nazis back in power! Worse yet, many Syrians who are battered have committed no crime, but some of their brethren are committing crimes now, and it doesn’t help their plight. This sounds more like what America is becoming with our illegals and the freebies they receive from 0bama, and that’s how the elitists want it.. Divide and Conquer makes it most simple.

      • Bubbaluba

What are you trying to say exactly?

    • Sandy Beach

The refugees are invited in by UN and NGO’s who pay their way. The astonishing part is that the Germans are actually allowing this: they could be marching in lines to prevent this…..it’s amazing that Merkel hasn’t been impeached or worse. Soros is helping them get there. No one is transporting them for free….but then look at the Africans trying to get to Europe. No dice, if you’re African. This refugee situation is HEGELIAN DIALECTIC at its best. Problem, reaction, solution. Solution: fascism, even more than now. The feds are trying to do this in the US with Mexicans, but its not working as well.

      • Lazy horse

They are protesting. If they stand in the way they get beaten up and arrested.

“Go ahead, shoot us!” – Desperate Germans clash with police in protest against migrants

        According to the UN:
Forced assimilation is an internationally recognized form of genocide.

Doesn’t appear to matter if the victims are white. The UN is anti-white too.

    • benevolent dictator

Jim, this Kalergi plan correlates with what Mark Steyn said in his book, America Alone; Europe to bring in the Muslims as the average birth rate per Muslim woman is over 4 per lifetime compared the european woman of 1.5.

      • Jim

They are doing it to start a war eventually. Guys like Mike don’t get it.

Muslims will die by the 10s of millions, and so will we.

Muslims are being used to “cleanse Europe of the Christian filth”.

The next phase will be to cleanse Europe of the Muslim filth.

I’m sure Mike will be sitting with his bowl of popcorn loving every minute of it.

      • Jim

        Benevolent dictator,
        Thanks for your comment.
Mr Steyn’s glowing main stream credentials are a red flag, but I’ll watch his videos and let you know what I think.

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xw-lU838pA

Uh oh, red flag at 00:02:50. He says Europe imported Muslims to have the children “the Europeans couldn’t be bothered having themselves.”

It’s not that Europeans cannot be bothered. Do some searching. The actual mechanisms behind white genocide are easy to find on the Internet if you look.
-The white birthrate is dropping like a stone because the White race is being systematically psychologically neutered. It does not breed well in captivity. 50 million abortions in the US might have something to do with it too.
-Whites are too busy working trying to make some money, Muslims get paid a fortune to have kids. Feminism has neutered white women, but is not pushed so hard on immigrants.
-Whites with odious debts caused by the US student loan scam. http://professorconfess.blogspot.com/2015/09/higher-education-and-dumbing-down.html

-Deliberate dumbing down (http://www.deliberatedumbingdown.com) is making educated whites unable to see their own destruction. You can even direct people to the text of the Kalergi plan and they shrug as if it doesn’t matter.

-Media propaganda tells us not to have kids, and that we are too lazy to support ourselves, but never mentions that George Soros is trying to genocide us.

-We are denied opportunites in our own countries in favour of invaders. Nobody realizes the true extent of the scam. (http://www.affirmativeactionhoax.com)

He says that Europe doesn’t have the power to resist. I’d say militarily they do, but their minds are so warped they won’t do what needs to be done.

Mark Steyn is either a “respectable conservative” or a liar. Either way, his views are kind of pointless.

At 11:29, Mr Steyn talks about English village pubs and their future irrelevance in a Muslim England. He fails to mention the covert plan to destroy those pubs, and hence destroy the social fabric of England and get everyone sitting in front of the TV instead of talking to each other. Thousands of pubs have been driven out of business already, due to deliberate government action.

He mentions porn without mentioning who’s behind it and why there is so much of it for free. How does it make money?

He doesn’t mention the fact that many Whites are purposefully deciding not to have kids because they know the world, even in currently white lands, will not be kind to them. We are losing our future, and nobody wants to talk about it. If they do they will call you a nazi and go find another blog to troll.

I suspect Mr Steyn is promoting the WW3 idea, the clash of civilisations between Europe and Islam. (Search for Albert Pike’s 3 world wars)

        http://www.threeworldwars.com/albert-pike2.htm

He never really mentions the White race, which is the issue here. He talks about “Western Civilisation”, etc. All abstractions.

He does touch on the extension of adolescence, and how we have created a society of PERMANENT adolescents. Now he’s getting closer to the truth. But he blames it on “we”. Hasn’t he heard of Communists, or the Tavistock institute? There’s plenty on the net about it.

We shouldn’t fight the Muslims to save ourselves, we should stop them coming in the first place.

BTW, I don’t normally listen to Atheists anymore. They think they are so logical, but Mr Steyn is correct about the decline in their thinking. Matt Dillahunty for example, once you get used to his BS, is really just a typical liberal. Liberals these days seem to think white genocide will solve all our problems and usher in Utopia. Matt goes on and on about how he hopes more minorities become Atheists because Atheism will be better without old white guys. He’s an anti-white too. Atheists are very religious but don’t really get what religion it is that they follow.

Mr Steyn has his three options to handle Islam. All his options lead to White Genocide. He is a tricky little devil.

  3. Grafique

Bill, the big push now is to do away with cash. It’s probably inevitable at this point.
What will that mean for gold/silver prices?
If a cashless society is forced on us, will holders of gold/silver be screwed?

    • paul

Grafique … Doing away with “fiat paper cash” can only enhance the value of precious metals … people will need “something” to barter with … and what history shows is gold and silver were well regarded as a means to transact business as they are independent of any governmental authority (you won’t be screwed) … that is precious metals can function as money even if governments collapse … if you still want to hold some “government cash” don’t hold their paper … simply hold Jefferson nickels (that have a high copper/nickel content) and thus will retain value!

    • Calgirl

Is Bitcoin a refuge from the cashless society? They are coming out with credit cards based on your gold account. I hope someone on this thread can educate us. Is our privacy better protected by a Bitcoin type credit card?

      • paul

Calgirl … Bit coin can be “hacked” or an electro-magnetic pulse (EMP) from the Sun can wipe out all the stored computer data … precious metals don’t have that liability … gold and silver can’t be hacked and an EMP has no effect on it whatsoever!

        • Hairy Herry

If there’s a copy of the Blockchain (which stores each and every transaction ever done with Bitcoin [most other cryptocurrencies have their own blockchain for that matter]) available anywhere not affected by the EMP, trust me that the internet can resurface, including Bitcoin. I am one of about 6,000 functional “full nodes” in the USA which help with distribution of the Blockchain and assist new nodes, or those rebuilding, to get up to date. Think of it as a healing mechanism in the digital realm, and very ingenious if I must say so.

      • Hairy Herry

Some would agree Bitcoin is an excellent way to separate government from your money, since it is decentralized. It cracked $500 USD today before correcting somewhat, yet it was around 70% lower 30 days ago.
I keep bitcoin in Cold Storage, so not even the government can hack my computer to get the Private Key its stored under. Expect volatility to rule the roost, even though there have been multiple news items boosting it from a deep funk.

To keep Bitcoin secure, you absolutely must educate yourself on exactly what you must do to keep whatever coins you have as SECURE. This becomes a deep discussion which I could go on and on for longer than Greg would tolerate in even two shows, yet I was part of the early days of Bitcoin over the long winter of ’09 mining coins with a slow 166 Mhz computer, then buying more in Spring ’13. What I mined, I kept in a wallet separate from my computer, which prevented theft of my “coins” as version 1.0 of the “wallet” application didn’t have any real security integrated with it. Many painful lessons were learned when malware appeared that simply “FTP’ed” (file transferred) the victim’s wallet for easy importation and theft of their coins.

I’m putting together a non-credit bitcoin education course with what I’ve learned and from others in the Bitcoin community. If you have a specific question, the tougher the better! I’ll answer at least one in this forum.

        • Jeff L

Calgirl is referring to BITGOLD. Your savings are stored (physically vaulted) in gold so if the price goes up your acct goes up. They are also introducing a credit card where you can spend from your acct. I think it would be fine for a fraction of you money.

          • paul

Still … you are putting your trust in an entity that sits between you and your money … trust is a wonderful thing … if you know who you can trust … and that person is only yourself … simply buy “a bit” of physical gold and store it at home!

          • Calgirl

            Jeff,
Thank you……I was referring to BITGOLD. If I were to open an account in another country, say Canada with Sprott’s BITGOLD people……I think my gold would be safer there than in the U.S. I don’t understand why Sprott sold his company to the BITCOIN people. I’m very confused about the whole transaction and they talk over my head. And I’m intrigued with the possibility that my credit card purchases would not be monitored by our gov. Not that I have anything to hide, I just value my privacy very much. Likewise, I don’t tell my Dr. any more than I have to because I know the gov has access to the information. I wouldn’t want to be “culled out” based on my medical history that they could manipulate any way they wanted. I don’t consider myself paranoid, just very cautious, as only God knows what they will do next.

            • Jeff L

Cal I opened an acct and chose the Canadian vault storage. Paul is correct as far as “some gold” kept on person. My feeling was diversification is always good. If we have a situation where personal physical can’t be traded/sold (because of martial law ? ect) this is an option where you can access needed funds.

              • Jeff L

Calgirl I don’t think Sprott sold out. I believe they joined with GoldMoney to start this.

    • Bill Holter

what happens to the price of anything when it is outlawed?

      • Matthias

Also Bill, Bitcoin has severe systemic flaws, since it’s basically just another fiat currency that is controlled by whoever hosts the majority of the computation power in the Bitcoin network, leading to the possibility of a so called “51% attack” on the network. A scenario that already did become real in 2014 with a private mining pool reaching 51% (plus certainly the US gov. could summon up enough computation power if they had to do so to save their financial system)!

See this Ars Technica article and especially the following quote from Cornell professor Emin Gün Sirer:

        http://arstechnica.com/security/2014/06/bitcoin-security-guarantee-shattered-by-anonymous-miner-with-51-network-power/

“Bitcoin’s value proposition stems from its technological foundation, which in turn is based on building distributed trust. People flock to Bitcoin because they do not trust the fiat infrastructure, they hold Bitcoin because they are worried that the people in charge of USD can inflate it at will or usurp money from their accounts. But now, with a monopoly miner, they are suddenly in a position where they have to, once again, trust a single entity to remain benign.

This completely collapses the Bitcoin narrative that the Bitcoin community has been using to draw in new users. If we are to trust GHash’s good will and ongoing benign behaviors, we might as well do away with the entire Bitcoin protocol and replace the system with a simple database server kept on GHash’s premises.”

I already elaborated on that in the comment section of a Jeff Berwick interview (just look for my name there if you are interested in the topic):

  4. Sayonara

It is all about not if , but when?
It is apparent that this charade is going on a lot longer than us rationalists think it is. Mean while the world is literally falling apart. Sayonara is imminent. But when?

    • paul

Sayonara … Falling apart “on purpose” is more like it … some say that Russian passenger plane “just fell apart” because it had a weak tail … however … an infrared satellite picked up “a heat flash” at the time the Russian plane went down with many innocent women and children aboard … there would be no heat flash if it was a simple mechanical failure where the tail got loose and fell off??? … so in all likelihood it is the work of Neo-cons and their agents … probably trying to get a big war started with Russia!

        High-energy lazer weapon.

        • paul

That is possible … just as it was likely a high energy laser hit the BP oil platform in the Gulf knocking out all its electronic controls before it blew up!

          • paul

We should look into who was short BP stock before it blew up!

      • Sandy Beach

One blog site said it was a drone, a US drone. Russia will act when they have information.

  5. Faith

I have seen you interview Mr. Holter in the past. This time he seemed sad. Disappointed. I understand those sentiments perfectly. It was like a gut punch to hear Mr. Holter say that the rule of law in the US is no longer extant. I heard O’Reilly say that on FOX news last week. When the elite can pillage and loot the serfs and not suffer from the rule of law while those serfs, if they fail to comply with one single rule, can be imprisoned or punished without relief, you know there is a problem. I concluded some time ago that there is now a two-tiered justice system in the US. One for the little people and another for the elites.

As far as Mr. Holter’s speculation on the tipping point, I agree, it will happen overnight. It will certainly be a black swan for many but for some of us this will not be a surprise. I know some people in this forum have said that China cannot compete because they don’t have liquidity, they don’t have a bond market, etc. I think all of that will be irrelevant if China pegs the Yuan to gold and sets the price. Mr. Holder made a key point here: China has been importing gold and the tipping point will be reached when the Comex fails to deliver. When was the last time that there was an audit of the US gold reserves? As I recall the last audit happened in 1953.

Throw in war. I can’t believe I actually live during this era. I feel like I can barely breathe. This is the saddest interview I have seen on this program. I understand the implications too well. I wish I didn’t know. I wish I didn’t understand the implications. Ignorance is bliss. But knowledge can be the cruelest form of wisdom.

I served during the old Cold War. Now? To live through this? I don’t know what to say.

    • BetterChetter

Followers of Jesus, on Maundy Thursday, anticipated his ride into Jerusalem being the procession preceding His calling down of angels to slay the infidels – & much to their dismay, Jesus revealed His true mission to be the giving over of one’s life – not winning at war. Perhaps that is what we are being called to do – & are as wholly unprepared for – to lay down our lives BY BEING PILLARS OF LOVE, MERCY, GOODNESS & JOY while our country’s greatness falls, as its economy and pension funds fall. Either we can have a corresponding 1ooth Monkey effect, and our consciousness radiates into the hearts of the sleeping, to awaken them – and we work together to form a barter system to transact with each other – or we simply do not take the mark of the beast when it is offered to us, and go to our deaths as Jesus did. Hopefully the beast-mark only comes after the rise & fall of the Amero, such that the US collapse more closely patterns after Jesus death at 32-33 (2032 or 2033), & I/we have time to find the courage to live not of the world, but in it.

    • paul

Faith … You say: “I concluded some time ago that there is now a two-tiered justice system in the US. One for the little people and another for the elites.”

But there is a “multi- tiered” justice system being set up for all nations under the UN for the benefit of the elites using the “global warming scheme” … but what is funny about it that as the US prepares to sign a global warming accord in Paris … NASA announces sea levels are likely dropping due to “an increase” in Antarctic ice! … http://www.express.co.uk/news/science/616356/What-global-warming-Nasa-Antarctic-ice-INCREASING-135BILLION-TONNES-year

Wait a minute … according to the climate change advocates like Al Gore … wasn’t the increase in Earth’s temperature supposed to be raising sea levels … now what are they going to tell us? … the increased warming “is evaporating more water” and it is that extra humidity that is now dropping on Antarctica as ice … thus lowering sea levels??

Captain Earth calling Scotty … do I hear our shields are down also?

Scotty: not totally Captain … only over the Antarctic … but don’t worry Captain this is consistent with ozone depletion chemistry where “colder than average weather conditions in Earth’s stratosphere” over the South Pole is helping to cause ozone depletion!

Captain: but Scotty I thought ozone depletion was due to refrigerants and CO2 being released in the Northern Hemisphere of our ship and that they were “heating the stratosphere” causing ozone depletion?

Scotty:  no Captain … we are having “colder then normal stratospheric conditions” in the South … those refrigerants and CO2 released in the Northern Hemisphere are probably the only thing keeping the Northern ozone shield intact … it is only the Southern ozone shield that is down “due to colder then average” stratospheric weather conditions!

Captain: Good work Scotty … will you please send a message from engineering to that “know it all Vulcan” (Al Gore) … that the ships water levels won’t be rising … due to the increase in ice our ship is taking on around its South Pole! … and also explain to him that his chart on the refrigerant leak we had in the “Northern Hemisphere” of the ship … is actually helping (along with CO2) to keep the ships Northern Hemisphere shields up!  http://www.express.co.uk/news/science/615822/NASA-ozone-hole-grown-larger-Earth-warning

Captain to Sulu: How are the ships navigation controls? … are they working yet? … and can we get warp speed?

Sulu: No Captain … our navigation controls are currently “locked in position” and we are heading directly toward the star Vega … relative to our local group of galaxies in the cosmic microwave background we are now currently traveling at only 1,800,000 miles per hour … so warp speed is out of the question … we are getting only 0.2% the speed of light!

Captain to Sulu: That’s just great … is there any way we can bypass that fleet of Klingon “Death Stars” heading directly for us and threatening harm as usual?
      http://nypost.com/2015/01/06/there-are-14-death-stars-headed-our-way/

Sulu: Sorry Captain… looks like we better prepare for an encounter … not only with the battle-group of 14 Klingon death stars … but we must also brace for a collision with Andromeda! … http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/hubble/science/milky-way-collide.html

Captain: (muttering to himself) … Oh boy … and all I thought I had to worry about was the greedy Ferengi on my ship … printing exponential amounts of fiat money … destroying my ships economy … and I can’t even get “one of them” beamed down to a holding cell on Rura Penthe!

      • Southern Girl

        Paul,

Thanks for letting us in on the script of the USS Enterprise. I must have missed that episode. I needed the levity your provided.

    • Beligarant

@Faith: It seems we are on the cusp of entering into a new Dark Age. Some people get that point, it’s not economic collapse even though that will probably be one aspect of puzzle piece.
To find a time when such few people held the majority of the worlds wealth and allowed to rig markets and break laws with no serious investigation or jail time you need to go back to the Dark Ages and fall of Rome.
As the saying goes, history may not repeat itself but it sure does rhyme.

    • oneno

@Faith, that China is collecting Gold is not even of significance compared the the Golden Egg laying Goose (Manufacturing) that the politicians of the Western World just handed to them back in the ’90s. How stupid could those politicians and their masters – the banksters – be?

    • frederick

@faith sorry but why on earth would anyone watch Fox news İ just cant fathom that

Faith: Your powerful words touched me. I feel your pain and desperately don’t want the impending reset and the attendant grave danger, loss of life etc. to transpire either. It’s truly a curse to be awake. I must confess I desperately research the alternative media for any evidence that might substantially challenge the notions advanced here by a vast array of Greg’s informed guests. Yet I cannot find a shred of factual information that might counter what the dire/ grim consensus points to. And I read every single post here because as disparate as we all may be there is a community of awake folks along for the ride ahead.
Bless all ye who come here! Yours, DD x

    • Collateral Damage

This One is For You Faith…

Go placidly amidst the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter; for there will always be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe; no less than the trees and the stars, you have the right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labours and aspirations in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace with your soul. With all its sham drudgery and broken dreams it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

It is for Faith and for all of the rest of US our here who are in pain this evening.

yes Faith, the whole saga is sad!

      • Faith

Mr. Holter, thank you for your kind reply. You are very brave to dare to speak openly. I appreciate your point of view and your frankness. I am not sad for myself. I am sad for the people out there that will be crushed by events and caught unaware and unprepared. The MSM is doing nothing to provide accurate information to people which makes this “alternative” news outlet invaluable and necessary.

Greg, as I have mentioned before on your site…………keep your eyes on the Saudi’s and let’s hope America doesn’t bomb them into the Stone Age, because Russia without a doubt will return the favor.

The real news this week is that the head of Qatar is visiting Putin in the Kremlin.

    • paul

Would we do such a thing to our vassal state if the Saudi’s started to accept yuan in place of the US dollar in payment for their oil? … then again … look at what happened to Iraq and Libya when they tried to pull away from the dollar! … recently the US fleet just left the Middle East … and Yemen fighters are now very close to the Saudi border!

  7. Colin - 'the farmer from NZ'

    Great interview Greg/Bill

I am utterly fearful that Washington will get to a certain point and then ‘kick over the card table’. I have communicated this thought to Bill before in my poker game scenario and I know he has a horrible feeling too that this is how the looming monumental crisis will play out.

By the way, I love Bill’s logical, down to earth, common sense approach.
Too bad this type of thinking is such a scarce commodity, especially in the halls of power.

    Cheers
    Col

    • Bill Holter

      thanks much Colin.

  8. clark

I cannot watch video on my P.C. Thank you for providing the bits of the conversation that you do. While I do not always agree with you, your guests, or anybody else, I agree with you on this: God is in control.

@Faith 11/04/2015, You wrote, “I served during the old Cold War. Now? To live through this? I don’t know what to say.”

The first thing to say is that you served the Imperial Empire during the Cold War. Not, The People. Maybe others will get the drift?
Know this, when you write, “I understand the implications too well. I wish I didn’t know. I wish I didn’t understand the implications. Ignorance is bliss. But knowledge can be the cruelest form of wisdom.” I know where you’re coming from.

    • Faith

@Clark: My family has served this country since the revolution. I was told I qualify for the DAR though I have never applied. (DAR: Daughters of the American Revolution).

The Cold War was the only war, since WWII, that was successful. What do I mean by success? It never went hot. No nukes were fired. The Berlin Wall was brought down and the former Western and Eastern German countries were united. Certainly people died trying to cross the Berlin Wall. There were costs. People died. But those costs, in lives, were kept to a minimum. I feel blessed to have had a President Reagan as a Commander-in-Chief.

I don’t know what you mean with regard to the other part of your comment. Your language is not plain. Imperial Empire? I don’t know what that means. Forgive me, I am a simple person and plain spoken.

I was able to return to Germany in the late 1990’s and travel to some of my former bases. Karlsruhe, which had more than 50,000 service members (and family) was dark. Why? Because the US had pulled out and returned much of the former base to Germany and the Germans now owned and were renovating former barracks and other buildings for their own use. Much of the the US military folks stationed in Karslruhe had been transferred and shipped to other places. I consider that a success. The US did not stay behind as an occupying force. We left peacefully.

I am proud to have served my country during that time.

  9. Matthias

Yay, Bill Holter, one of my favorites!

  10. JC

Made My Morning Greg. I saw that black hat and big smile. I said HO HO Holter.

  11. andyb

Greg: kudos for having the common man’s “common man” on again. No BS, no equivocation, no disingenuous posturing. It may not play out in the near term as Bill envisions as the “masters of the universe” may have a few more aces to pull from the bottom of the deck. But is is definitely coming. As we can hope to do in the meantime is to prepare as best we can; 6 months of food and water, guns ammo, etc. Get together with your neighbors; have a plan if you don’t have a bug out retreat. Start removing cash from the TBTF banks; leave only enough for monthly Bill Pay. Keep low denomination cash on hand; 10’s 20’s; as much as you can afford. Keep your tank full at all times; have an extra 5 gallons handy, or more if possible.

Keep in mind that when the SHTF the elite MO has always produced some sort of false flag, presumably by an outside force in order to rally the folks to support the government. Critical thinking will be extremely important to filter the wave of propaganda. Good luck and God bless.

    • Bill Holter

Bill Thank you for coming on. You have said when China cant get there gold it is game over. What will China do we they cant get there gold to collapse the dollar ? Will they have to influence the world to go to a backed currency? I would like to know what that could look like.
    Thanks JC Davis.

    • Bill Holter

thanks, China will then “make the rules”.

  14. G. A. Stewart

From Nostradamus and the Age of Desolation
    TheAgeofDesolation.com

    Nostradamus Quatrain X-81

    Nostradamus Quatrain X-81
Treasure placed in a temple by citizens of Hesperia [America],
Therein withdrawn to a secret place:
The temple opened by starving bonds,
Retaken, ravaged, [those] in the middle horrible prey.

It would seem from the description in this quatrain that there is no gold in Fort Knox, the repository for the treasure of the United States. As I mentioned in Chapter Six, Hesperia was considered the far western lands in Greek mythology. Obviously, we can read that the starving population of the United States will successfully attack Fort Knox only to find that the there is no gold and that it has been withdrawn to a “secret place”.

    • Faith

@G. A. Stewart: Indeed. From a basic Google search: Wall Street Daily: “The last audit of Fort Knox occurred in 1953, right after President Eisenhower’s inauguration. Except no outside experts were permitted, and only about 5% of the gold was tested.” Article from July 16, 2013.

  15. USAF Airman Rich Treadway

Friends and Countrymen, Take heart. A new American century is dawning starting next year. Several of the presidential candidates are on board with a broad plan to reinvigorate American hegemony abroad. Exhaustive research and strategic tactical planning is ongoing on a scale never dreamed of. I can promise everyone that by 2018, America will reign indisputably supreme. We only have one more year of Obama’s weakness, but the major players are aligning the major chess pieces on the board. Very shortly, America will embark on the most unbridled expansion of power the world has ever seen. For those brave young men wanting the opportunity to shine, please join us and become the next great American generation.

      • Calgirl

        Paul,
What percentage of those who enlist in the military really know what their oath means. How many understand the Constitution or the Bill of Rights? They don’t even teach Civics in the government schools anymore. How would they know?
I would be willing to bet a gold coin that a very large percentage don’t even know who the Secretary of Defense is much less anything about the Joint Chiefs of Staff. These are kids who enlist for various reasons, they get shipped off to Iraq putting their lives on the line (God please bless them) and many probably don’t really understand why they are being sent there. Since the MSM has so much clout, even if they are followers of the political shenanigans behind the news, they are getting a distorted view….led by an inept President and a bunch of warmongers and banksters…….IMO

        • paul

Your right Calgirl … supposedly it is illegal for Planned Parenthood to abort babies beyond 6 months … but try and tell that to the Neo-cons who regularly abort young American boys at 18 years old!

Yesterday I sent a personal note to Bill before this interview came out and made this statement.

Can you really afford to not have an insurance policy that protects your ability to make purchases of life surviving staples…..

As Bill clearly states…a reset must happen. it is a mathematical certainty.

The most troubling issue for me is the belief this situation we face today is likely the result of careful planning or ABSOLUTE STUPIDITY.

My soul wants to believe it is due to STUPIDITY but my brain says that we are here by DESIGN.

Prepare for a major reduction in population numbers…

    This will be the outcome.

    BET ON IT.

Greed and Stupidity much more likely than any plan.

      • Faith

        @Laura: Great links!

Favorite things: oil lamps. Good light, you can replace the wicks. Easy to use inside or outside. Extra chimneys and extra wicks are easy to store. Wicks because they need to be replaced and chimneys because this is the part of an oil lamp that is easily broken.

        • paul

The smoke can cause bad allergies … why not use solar lights that can be recharged during the daytime?

          • Faith

@Paul: there is smokeless oil you can buy for a premium. I doesn’t bother me when used indoors for a few hours (yes, I have tested this oil in my home and in a rural cabin that was 81 square feet).

If you are in a very small room and burning any type of oil product inside it is always smart to leave a window open, slightly. I love the oil lamp for its simplicity and elegance. I also like solar panels, though they can be very expensive. And the batteries are also, expensive. Have you considered where all those batteries are to be sent once they are no longer useful? What about the solar panels? I owned a Honda Civic Hybrid. The batteries in hybrid cars are large. Replacement and disposal for those those hybrid car batteries are costly.

What will be the true cost that society spends for the disposal of hybrid car batteries and solar panel batteries? Have you calculated that expense? I am not being flippant. It is expensive to throw away electronics at my local garbage facility. It is not free.

A few pieces of glass, metal, and cotton are simple. Those items will not take decades, or 1000’s of years to return to primary elements.

I am a simple person. I like simple things. Thus my joy with regard to the old-fashioned oil lamp. Simple. Elegant. Useful. Easily maintained.

        • Laura

          Great idea!

Like I’ve learned from The Survival Mom- you need a backup to your backup.

    • Bill Holter

thanks much for following my work Laura!

  18. Mark

    Greg,

Bill Holter is always a pleasure to listen to. I’ve watched many of his interviews and he’s basically saying the same things (albeit very important ones worth repeating). One message I know he hits on the head is the absence of the “rule of law” that permeates our society.
The banks who rig every market and pay laughable fines are not only too big to fail, but too big to jail. The repeated unconstitutional actions of our current administration is never challenged by our elected officials in the House and Senate. Nothing is beyond reproach nowadays and when this all falls apart the blame game will commence in earnest.
I hope Bill will chime in with responses to our posts as he’s done before. Someone we should all listen to and help others “with their head in the sand” while we have still time to prepare.

  19. Spanky

I don’t understand. If the economy is doing so well, how can any member of the Federal Reserve suggest that negative interest rates are a possibility and keep from laughing at the same time? What kind of gobbledygook is this? Are the members of the Fed basing their economic forecasts and decision making on their interpretation of the signs manifested in tea leaves and the entrails of sacrificed chickens ? If not, perhaps they ought to do so, because they can’t possibly under perform their current efforts. Surely, if the members of the Federal Reserve believe their official statements, they obviously don’t understand the gravitas of the situation. Ergo, they’re a bunch of fools. Otherwise, they’re liars.

    • paul

Spanky … They are both … fools and liars!

    • Bill Holter

higher rates are a bad joke. Just look at cargo rates, they are crashing.

  20. Willard Ferch

Psychologically speaking, I’ve found that the majority of folks believe what they want to believe, which generally keeps them in their comfort-zone. They will adhere to that belief until hope evaporates, at which time they may be brought to the point of believing just about anything, as Hitler realized and utilized. We are all victims, whether we believe or not. After we have hit the ice-berg, it’s too late. How do we describe the American of today? Fat, lazy, complacent, apathetic, are adjectives that rank high for the majority. Fiddlin

    • Bill Holter

      yes.

China or many hundreds of groups can bust the comex in one hour, or one or two days. Why they don’t is cuz China likes to buy cheap, thus Comex actually is allowed to exist by China. It serves China. Wake up time.

I agree 100% with Bill! The Chinese will get “Reserve Currency Status” in November. http://www.wsj.com/articles/converting-the-yuan-1446594836

They will get their “Gold Fix” in December, and then the financial deck will be reshuffled. Americans need to understand that this isn’t about being included in the IMF basket of currencies, this is about breaking free from the dollar dominated system with the BRIC nations. The creation of AIIB and CIPS confirms that.

In addition, the Petrodollar is dead. By the sheer fact that there is no longer a U.S. naval presence in the Persian Gulf confirms that. I believe this is the result of the Saudi’s signing a currency swap agreement with Russia, China, and the BRIC nations.

The only thing holding the current system together is the Federal Reserve’s ability to mop up treasuries being dumped back in the market by China and the BRIC nations. The breaking point will come (like Bill said) when the Gold paper contracts that have been sold to the Chinese (by the western banking cabal) to stall off their reset, can’t be delivered.

The other possibility is a derivative implosion in the EU caused by the coming meltdown of Deutsche Bank. Anytime you see an institution of that size lay off 15000 employee’s you know something is rotten in Denmark. Either way we have an economic bomb that has had its fuse lit at both ends.

    • Jerry

No this is not the three wise men at the nativity. (My first impression) Its Germany sliding into economic chaos.

Who says you have to have guns to start an invasion? It kind of reminds me of what’s happening along our Texas borders. Can you imagine what would happen if they did this to China or Russia? Even Mexico? They would take them out and shoot them.

In the United States we welcome them with open arms and give them food, shelter, welfare and medical benefits. And then sign them up to vote. With unfettered access what could go wrong?

      • Jerry

Germany arming itself. I should say trying to arm itself. They don’t have the Second Amendment. They have government regulation.
        http://www.wnd.com/2015/10/islamic-invasion-pulls-trigger-europeans-scramble-for-guns/

As for me. I have been carrying a fire arm since I was old enough to crawl. Its part of the Midwest culture. Deer season. Turkey season. Duck season. You name it. We always had fresh game for Thanksgiving.

        • Mattie W.

Wow Jerry, you sound like your the Motor City madman himself? How ya doin Ted?

          • Jerry

            Mattie.
I guess I could call you a smart a$$, but that would mean you would have to be smart. Since you’re not I’ll just call you an a$$.

          • WD

            Mattie,

You can call me Ted anytime… I like Jerry think the 2nd Amend was the greatest gift the founding fathers gave us…. so stop being stupid.

The Chinese want out of the current manipulated dirty little system created by the western banking gangsters. IE AIIB and CIPS

      • WD

        Jerry,

This has been my angle for a long time. China wants to and needs to decouple form the west and castrate them.

People forget that the Chinese were the world’s first merchants and capitalists. It all started there.

        • Jerry

          WD
The American people have no idea how many deals the Chinese have put together. The Silk Road in itself is a masterpiece. Americans are asleep at the wheel like Chevy Chase in the movie “Vacation”.

      • Max Meister

@Jerry Yes the Chinese want out but they have a very different timeframe for making that happen and in the meantime they want to benefit in a big way from the PM price suppression scheme. So we should not expect China to turn the table upside down any time soon unless the West is running out of physical Gold to deliver.

        • Brewmaster

You’re right Max, the trend remains lower for now.

      • Calgirl

        Jerry,
Thank you so much for that fantastic article. It is astounding to me that I have more faith and belief in the Chinese market than our own manipulated, fraudulent mess and the corrupt regulatory bodies that support it. Who ever “thunk” that America could stoop so low.

    • paul

Right on Jerry … the Chinese must somehow make whatever little debt they have now “worth more” to the nations that buy it … so they will have to back their Yuan with gold … now if gold goes to $100,000 dollars per ounce the way Bill Holter thinks … the Chinese can make one Yuan equal to $1 dollar … and then back it with 0.00001 ounce of gold.

      • paul

The Chinese could keep the yuan at $0.16 cents … but then they would have to back each yuan with only 0.0000016 ounce of gold!

        Note: $100,000 dollars equals 625,000 yuan … so 625,000 x 0.0000016 equals 1 oz of gold.

      • Occasnltrvlr

        Paul…, paul.

For starters, your initial proposition would require, by thumbnail sketch, that China be willing to redeem some 42,000 tonnes of gold. I know they’ve got a lot, but, uh… .

To reiterate, if any country were to back their currency with gold, their economy would rapidly implode.

I’ll stake my grandmother’s farm on it: not gonna happen. (Okay, my grandmother has long since passed on, and she didn’t have a farm, but, it’s not gonna happen, anyway.)

I’m no Bill Holter (or Jack Kennedy, for that matter), but I too suppose it’s possible that gold could end up priced at $100,000 per ounce.

    • Bill Holter

      yes, all of the above.

      • Bill Holter

        my comment was for Jerry.

        • Jerry

          You got it Bill.

    $10,000 plus Gold?

More likely a default on holders of dollar debt. Kiss your pension goodbye. Kiss whatever is subsidized goodbye. Daily necessities will be repriced more than PMs. Land and property is already repriced. $1,700 per one room basement suite in California now. The Chinese are already sending the dollars back to USA and Canada Inc. to roost. On top of that, they are taking full advantage of subsidies paid for by over-taxed USA & Canada Inc. citizen! And make no mistake, subsidized schools, universities, and health care are not even worth what the taxpayers are paying for.

Seems to me, a push for a one world government. We are given the appearance of a polarized world. But lets not ignore the reality of “socialism” in Russia, China, EU, and already prevalent in USA & Canada Inc. since at least 9/11. We are looking at the new Global feudalism where all of us are just serfs.

Unless people understand how they have been deceived by the CORPORATIONS masquerading as GOVERNMENT and stand up with pitchforks in gurrila warefare against the corporate armies, it is game over. But most are sound asleep.

Just had a conversation last night with a man while grocery shopping who complained of foreigners living in high-end neighbourhoods collecting welfare cheques. He spoke like a true patriot that everyone should pay their fair share of taxes (see first link above). Little did he realize, that government subsidized infrastructure (schools including University, healthcare, roads, garbage disposal, …) were not even close to worth what taxpayers were paying. He did not even realize that the government was actually a CORPORATION masquerading as government. He didn’t even know that the NAME he thought was his was actually the property of the registering authority, the Corporate Crown. When I told him that his endorsement of his NAME directly was a fraudlent act that the Crown was using as an excuse to confiscate the fruits of his labour via all manner of taxes, fines, fees, licences whether written in legislation or not, he returned a blank stare. Even after pointing to three pieces of Crown documents (Copyright Act, Certificate of Birth, Crown Copyright in the Information Age) as evidence that the NAME he thought was his was actually Crown copyright, he still could not connect the dots.

Then there is the manifold divicive tactics on the people perpetrated by the Corporate Crown pitting one group against another (immigrants vs natives, along racial lines, religion, sectarianism, …).

Then there are the endless wars to feed on the “patriots”.

We need 10% of the population to wake-up so that this message can spread further and the people stand-up. Until that time, there is not even a glimmer of hope.

Man (male or female) must conclude that we all live on one Earth and we must help each other to rid overselves of our over-lords (governments, religion, sectarianism). We must contain over-population currently at 8.5 billion and live responsibly with nature that is our only life-support system or face a reality with no winners!

    • Bill Holter

it is a default one way or the other.

    • Calgirl

      Oneno
The key is that since the government AT ALL LEVELS is a corporation (even believe it or not, your local school board), we only need to remove our consent. A corporation needs our “signed” consent to wield their power. The birth certificate is the first inroad whereby we become serfs to their whims. For those who do not believe that their local school board and every other governing body is a corporation, check out the Dunn and Bradstreet listings online. You will be amazed.

  25. NC Gal

Greg, thanks for having Bill Holter on again. I always feel less alone when I hear and see him speak. I personally feel that the US is becoming more aggressive at trying to provoke a war right now and has been increasing the heat in that direction, as Bill has pointed out. However, it also seems that other plans are in motion as well. Historically, the elites have played both sides against each other. It’s really difficult to sort out what is coming from where, what to expect and when to expect it, as Bill demonstrated in response to several questions.

There is an excellent interview between Bill Moyers and Mike Lofgren about the Deep State aspect of what we can see going on. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYS647HTgks#t=38 minutes 1:28-20:43). Lofgren concludes that the result of the existence of the Deep State is perpetual war, but he denies that any of it stems from a cabal of any kind. His comments and observations came from following the money trail and he also includes Silicon Valley. Google and now Micrsoft’s Windows 10 (with its built-in keyloggers and spyware), along with other companies, profit from exploiting people’s behaviors. Lofgren’s essay, “The Anatomy of the Deep State” is at http://billmoyers.com/2014/02/21/anatomy-of-the-deep-state/.

Remember, too, the information about the use of Jade 2 and Geoint to map, predict and exploit people’s behaviors. It seems we are not just considered people that are supposed to consume in order to prop up the economy; it seems we are a resource to be mined and consumed, along with everything else.

I am frustrated and saddened at the clown show that poses as our electoral process. Zerohedge posted a very good article, “The Real Issues You Won’t Hear From The 2016 Presidential Candidates This Election Year,'” at http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-11-03/real-issues-you-wont-hear-2016-presidential-candidates-election-year. There is no hope for change coming from that direction, so one must put one’s faith in a higher power that hopefully is benevolent with regard to our own personal course.

Everywhere I look, the anti-life forces of greed are precipitating chaos. What will emerge and when remains to be seen. Bill Holter seems to have accepted the process will be messy and painful when everything reaches that tipping point. Some have said we are already “in it,” and yet I feel that I (and many others here) are waiting for the shoe to drop. The G20 meeting is 11 days from now and its focus will be primarily directed at economic issues. Will China do something before then? We don’t have long to wait to find out.

    • Sandy Beach

Bill Moyers attends Bilderberg events. He’s a shill.

      • NC Gal

        Sandy Beach,

Thanks for that info. When I saw how many of his sponsors are part of the elite structure, I wondered about that. However, if you disregard Lofgren’s dismissal of the existence of a cabel, the rest of his information is interesting and adds to the picture of how complex the tools of the elite have become and how they are essentially doing what they are doing in order to profit themselves. His reference to the result being a constant state of war hit home with me, especially when you consider that the business of the military-industrial complex IS war. They are just doing what they have been trained and conditioned to do.

    • Bill Holter

Thanks NC Gal, I wish I could say the same but “talking to myself” would not be a good sign?

  26. Da Yooper

The bankers can keep this scam going for a lot longer than the investing public realize. IMO it will end when we start a war.

    • paul

Da Yooper … Actually the precious metal manipulation scam is coming apart at the seams … JP Morgan/Chase and Goldman Sachs have teamed up to take down the bullion banks by buying “physical” silver and gold … the bullion banks hold paper gold and silver at a hundred to one ratio … so it is not going to be to long before a re-set occurs!

  27. Tod Mills

Interesting that Bill Holter would say that there is no rule of law. Professor John Hasnas of Georgetown University has been saying that the “Rule of Law” is a myth for some time.

Tom Woods discusses this issue in depth with John Hasnas here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lD2Xe0XEZo

The end of life as we know it has been destroyed. The beginning of the fall has now started to accelerate. We now are heavily experiencing a loss of confidence in our governments worldwide. The first to fall will be the EU. I expect the King dollar to rise and the market to go up for a couple of years and gold to decline. For the crash to happen a majority of people need to be on the wrong side of the trade. The dollar will rise due to capital flight from around the world to the only safe haven available and widely accepted.
We are currently in a deflationary environment and inflation will hit in a couple of years and then gold will rise.

    • Brewmaster

      You are correct, sir.

There should be, at least for a season, the availability of a grey market. Basic skills will work as well. Unfortunately, a grey market and skills are no substitute for purchasing power.

  29. Rock

Hang in there, Faith. We are living in an exciting and interesting time. God is completely in control, and His plan is unfolding before our eyes. We are seeing the close of the Church age, as Christianity is more and more under attack. The window on it is closing. Those in Christ are called to be the light and salt of the earth, and will stand out more and more as the darkness descends on us. It is not necessarily fun, but it is exciting and interesting. Christ is coming for His bride soon. Keep the faith, and put on the armor of God.

Harvey Organ’s blog yesterday stated that the COMEX is down to 4.7 tons of Registered Gold, which means the amount that can actually be delivered. And the GLD has lost about 8 tons (delivered) in the past few days as well.
So, for a mere ~$156M the Comex could be emptied out (today, tomorrow, etc?) of metal and who knows what amount of gold is actually available to be delivered from the GLD (Harvey thinks most GLD gold holdings are mostly paper gold)…this Gold situation could get REAL very, very soon. This would explain the frenzy in driving the price down over the past week.

    • tulip

they can do anything they want… its in their rules. They
can hand out shares of paper GLD… problem solved.

      • paul

tulip … Paper gold is as worthless as fiat paper when backed by the promise of criminals … just as “tulips” turned out to be worthless when people woke up!

        • tulip

excuse me-the point id they can & they will and the holders get the paper… end of story.

          • Bill Holter

yes, and end of COMEX pricing…

            • JCN

Bill, do you think Harvey Organ is correct in his assessment of how much gold they really have for delivery?

  31. Calgirl

Thanks Greg, for another Bill Holter interview. I am a big fan of his and truly believe that his comments and opinions have our best interest in mind.

China’s fiat debt will be expunged via revaluation of gold and the US citizens will be saddled with it’s debt because the Fed and Treasury have squandered our gold to postpone the collapse.
Bill asks: “Who’s going to come in and save the day?” “Estimated total debt of U.S. Is 200 TRILLION”. One way is for our government will sell off the millions of acres of US land to the…… Chinese. The Federal Government owns nearly 650 million acres of land – almost 30 percent of the land area of the United States. http://nationalmap.gov/small_scale/printable/fedlands.html
Are we to become a province of China? Or is war the answer? Who will manufacture and supply the armaments?

What ever happened to all those Walmart stores that closed down for plumbing repairs? Walmart is starting to hire workers for five stores it closed last April to fix ongoing plumbing problems. The stores will reopen by late October or early November, the company said Thursday.

    • Bill Holter

      thanks much Calgirl.

  32. Max Meister

What China is doing or will do is just as intransparent as it is the case with the US.
For the time being China is part of the PM suppression as it is their best interest to buy low for as long as possible. 100’000 US$ per ounce Gold is a number that would only become reality during a hyper inflation. During a hyper inflation you would probalby see a loaf of bread being sold for 1000US$. So nominal prices are totally meaningless. The question is not how much an ounce of Gold or Silver will be measured in Dollars. The question that really matters is, what my Gold and Silver will buy once we arrived at a hyper inflation. Another question of interest would be whether or not Gold and Silver will be allowed to trade freely, which i doubt. Yes, the price of Gold will take off once physical delivery fails, but we know from the Silver market that we mostly had supply deficits for the last couple of years but that missing Silver was magically allways delivered regardless of the deficit. I assume the same is happening with Gold. We don’t know how much hidden Gold is around for delivery and therefore it’s very hard to say how long that game will continue.

    • paul

Your right Max … gold and silver won’t make you rich because we are talking about “nominal dollars” … but precious metals will be useful to help you survive at a “subsistence level” very near outright poverty!

      • paul

And one ounce of gold will buy a $50,000 dollar suit (in nominal dollars)!!

  33. tulip

Lastly, even if you chose to ignore all my arguments above, are you really willing to believe that the metals are the only financial market in the world which is supposed to be one-directional in nature and a correction should never occur? If so, then I am sure Mr. Armstrong’s antagonists would be willing to sell you a bridge. Actually, since most of them are sellers of metals, they probably have something else in mind to sell you. Have you ever considered that?
Holter was with Miles Franklin—until he joined up with Sinclair..

    ********

    • Charles H

      tulip,

No doubt there is a Great Divide between Precious Metals and the Status Quo – so it boils down to the Half-Glass phenomena. Either one choses to invest value and belief in the one (half-full); or they despise the one to favor the other (half-empty). And – yeah, people are going to make money: no matter what. That doesn’t make what they are selling bad.
The time is come to place your bets. I think the cards are coming down pretty soon.

    • paul

tulip … dollars are an IOU … a paper debt … being sold to you by an evil counterfeiting ring … the precious metals being sold to you “at a small profit” is not counterfeit money … and because of this “small profit” being made by people doing a good and moral “public service” you take the side of the counterfeiters who are exactly the ones selling you a bridge???

    • Robin

I agree, Tulip. Holter is still in the silver selling business. That said, I think he’s quite sincere in his beliefs.

      • paul

So Robin … if I was in the food selling business and made a small profit providing you with “the nourishment to survive” … are you going to “reject” the food I was offering for sale and “starve to death” … because I obtained my apples at $15 dollars per bushel … and was selling it to you for $17 dollars per bushel?

    • Jeff L

One problem with your argument is your inability to acknowledge WE ALREADY HAD THE GOLD CORRECTION (4+years and down 40%). Your statement that nothing goes one way forever while avoiding the obvious shows your blindness……. btw Mr. Armstrong was predicting $5000 gold when in prison. Somehow he changed his story after being released (to get out?). Meditate on that.

    • Bill Holter

I do talk my book …and use logic 100% of the time to back what I say. No, PM’s are not supposed to be one directional but to be fair there should not be 293 claims on every one real ounce COMEX has to deliver. Please explain how this is fair price discovery buttercup?

      • Brewmaster

There are NOT 293 claims for every one ounce of metal. There is only probably 1 claim for every 10 ounces. The long 293 so called “claims” have no intention of taking delivery. This talk misleads people.

        • Greg Hunter

          Brewmaster,
This just shows the market is rigged and dishonest and all markets are now.
          Greg

  34. Wayne

I’ve heard so many estimates of what the gold price would be if it was repriced to back the USD so I looked up the numbers and did the math myself.

The Fed doesn’t publish the M3 money supply anymore but Shadow Stats estimates its just over $10T USD created at this time.
I remember Rickards mentioning that central banks historically back their currency with 40% gold bullion.
That means that for $10T of paper US Dollars it would require $4T worth of gold bullion to back the money supply.
The US Treasury says we have about 8000 tons of gold in reserve. That’s 16m lbs or 256m ounces.

    $4T/256m oz = $15,625/oz gold
So their gold reserve would need to be valued at $15,625/oz to back the USD at the 40% level.
AND THIS IS ONLY IF THE US TREASURY ISN’T LYING TO US ABOUT THE AMOUNT OF GOLD IT STILL OWNS! If its less than the official 8000 tons, the gold price would be higher accordingly.

    • Greg Hunter

Thank you Wayne for doing this math for us. Who knows what the price will be in dollars, but physical gold and silver are both going to need to be priced much higher in dollar terms because we have printed so many of them.
      Greg

      • Hank

Don’t forget the ~$19 Trillion in Debt that we Now have as a country. I think that would at least also have to be added to the ~$4T of money supply which would need to be covered with Gold to make the nation solvent.

        • Greg Hunter

          Hank,
I don’t know what the USD price of gold should be but the math says it should be much, much higher in price. Thank you for your comment.
          Greg

          • Wayne

            Some afterthoughts on this:
            1) I’m not sure how to calculate the $20T in debt and how it would affect the gold price. I think the money supply would have to be increased to bring it down, but to what level? Too many unknowns here.

            2) If other countries like China or Russia want to back their currencies, that would provide more demand and upward momentum to the gold price.

            3) I think gold backing will eventually be necessary if only for the primary reserve currency. The battle for supremacy for that may come down to who backs their currency FIRST. The first mover may be able to get a jump on the competition to be the world’s reserve currency. The world may insist on the stability gold backing would bring to a reserve currency. Then the stability of OTHER currencies would be aided if they peg their own to it.

    • Charles H

China + Russia + India gold holdings – converted to a percentage of backing, tied to the outstanding Debt of these countries. It would still, by pure guess, be an easy five-figures.

    • paul

But don’t forget Wayne … the Fed is currently creating a Trillion dollars of “new money” every month right now “in stealth QE4” … which will add $1,562.50 to the price of gold every month going forward … in just 2 years this will add $37,500 to your $15,625 calculation … exactly in line with Jim Sinclair’s projection of $50,000 dollar per ounce gold!

      • Wayne

The debt numbers will continue to go up for the foreseeable future and looking at how to back the debt with gold too blows up this whole idea. The gold price would then be in Mr. Holder’s $1o0k/oz range, if not more, but at that point I think default would be the preferred option. Debt would have to be wiped out and then that would be the time to start again with a new currency backed by gold. Good discussion here.

The problem is that the government may be able to declare bankruptcy but we, the serfs, will be left holding all the debt of the banks. These criminal banks have written legislation which was passed by “our” Congress, which allows them to offload their debt to us. The government will be free and we will not.

And what is 300 times the price of one ounce of physical? … 300 x $1150 = $345,000 dollars of pent up demand for an ounce of physical gold … if just a third of this demand is met we get the $100,000 dollar gold price Bill Holter says is possible!

We all talk about, if Gold is $100,000 an ounce, therefore a loaf of bread should be $1,000, as history has shown as.

But what if a loaf of bread remained at a dollar and there wasn’t any hyper-inflation. Wouldn’t this give governments around the world the ability to settle their debts and fulfill their obligations to their citizens?

This will make people holding Gold and silver extremely wealthy while the rest live the Status Quo.

Commonsense tells you that’s not the way it works, but we live in an era where Common Core is the taught.

I would like to hear from other Watchdoggers whether a scenario like this could play out.

    • paul

FC … Just look at the manipulation being done with unemployment numbers, inflation numbers, interest rate numbers, etc., etc. … so you know they can manipulate a $1000 dollar loaf of bread down to $3 dollars if they want to … so to answer your question … I would say the likelihood of your scenario playing out is rather high … based upon what the powers that be are currently doing … and if their manipulation “stays intact” as the gold price rises … those holding gold and silver will indeed become extremely wealthy … while the rest of the population (holding paper fiat under their beds) will live the Status Quo.

      • Max Meister

@Paul I very much doubt it, that they would be able to manipulate the price of bread. They can only manipulate things that are traded in paper form which isn’t the case with bread as much as i know. If they don’t find a seller that is willing to part from his Silver for 15 bucks an ounce and if they don’t find a baker that is willing to sell his bread for 3 bucks per loaf in a hyperinflationary environment, then their manipulation sceme is doomed.

        • WD

@ Max…The price of milk is very much manipulated.

    • Nick

Laughed out loud at that one.Your’e right, no one knows. I listened to many experts before the Melbourne Cup ( Aussie’s biggest horse race ) . An outsider came in at 74/1. There’s technology being tested in the lab right now that can pull gold out of sea water, and there’s millions more tons in sea water than in mines and repositories on dry land. It could be $200/oz by the end of 2016.

      • Charles H

        Nick,

And what if ‘this NEW TECHNOLOGY’ takes $500,000.00 in energy costs to extract one ounce of sea-water gold? There is ALWAYS some new development; or speculation on a new source. ” We are going to mine the Van-Allen belt! Oh, yeah – where is that “Atomic Gold”, the nuclear reactors are going to supply?!?? The Atlantic Ocean would probably be rendered un-inhabitable to Nature by the time any real substance was extracted from it. To this point in time – beside mining: it is only speculation.

      • paul

Nick … Ocean water does hold gold … nearly 20 million tons of it … enough to give every man, women and child on Earth nine pounds of gold each … however each liter of seawater contains only about 13 billionths of a gram of gold … this is “so dilute” that it is not cost effective to extract the gold to make a profit … even at an extraction cost of one penny per liter it would cost $13 million dollars to get “one gram” of gold out of sea water … or about $400 million dollars per ounce … so Nick … gold is not going to drop to $200 dollars per ounce because it can be obtained from sea water!

It would be nice to have speculation backed up by descriptions of how they are preparing. Just saying “buy gold/silver” is really just recommendations. Most of us know this already, but to hear what they are “really” doing would lend a ton of validity to what they are saying. And, as always, thanks for your service.

Leah. I took all paper money out of stocks at a loss in 2010. I lost 6k. I then bought 19 acres of wooded land for19,000 dollars in the poorest county of TN. That 19 acres today is worth 60 k. It is not for sale at any price in paper money. With 5,000 of the stock cash out I bought water filters, and food. Then fixed my truck some. My stock friends tell me I got out at the wrong time, I just smile and say yeah you may be right. What is the price for a moral conscience?? Paper stocks is (immoral) knowing what is happening to our country because of bankers feeding people threw stocks and bank bail outs. I for one will have no part of it. Obamacare included , And I need a doctor. Thievery will cause people to burn.

        SD MD,

It IS insanity. Certainly you can focus on a ‘missed opportunity’ in the stocks arena: but that is a gamble. And the real danger is the ever increasing US Debt and irresponsibility. Do you really feel that you “lost” something which was only a potential?
Most here believe there will be a paradigm shift, and a real economic crash. Keep doing your homework; no words here will flip-the-switch for you. When Interest Rates at the bank went under 2% – I jumped ship. Too much is wrong for ME to keep faith in fiat currency, or this economic system. It is always darkest before the dawn. If you want to work thru the prickly type plants around my windows and doors, you’ll end up a bloody mess. Overall I do not think that riot types will come out this far as I am off the beaten path with water (and maybe an alligator or two) on two sides.

I think the bottom line here is take your paper money and buy hard assets like land or shares in companies that OWN hard assets: oil, pipelines, utilities, lumber, certain commodities. PMs are just one option.

    • Bill Harrison

Hi Leah, You asked what others are doing to prepare when bad times come.
My advice is to try to have a safe place to live, have food and water stored,
Have a way to protect from intruders, have basics stored for sanitation etc.
After having all of the above you can expand the list with PMs if you have the
means. Also don’t forget to enjoy life on a daily basis and be grateful for the
time we have on this earth. Friends and family are more important to me than all
      PMs in the world.

Col. Edward .Mandell .House to President Woodrow Wilson in a private meeting.
“Soon, every American will be required to register their biological property in a national system designed to keep track of the people and that will operate under the ancient system of pledging. By such methodology, we can compel people to ubmit to our agenda, which will effect our security as a charge back for our fiat paper currency.
Every American will be forced to register or suffer being unable to work and earn a living. They will be our chattel, and we will hold the security interest over them forever, by operation of the law merchant under the scheme of secured transactions.
Americans, by unknowingly or unwillingly delivering the bills of lading to us will be rendered bankrupt and insolvent, forever to remain economic slaves through taxation, secured by their pledges. They will be stripped of their rights and given a commercial value designed to make us a profit and they will be none the wiser, for not one man in a million could ever figure our plans and if by accident one or two should figure it our, we have in our arsenal plausible deniability.
After all, this is the only logical way to fund government, by floating liens and debt to the registrants in the form of benefits and privileges. This will inevitably reap to us huge profits beyond our wildest expectations and leave every American a contributor to this fraud which we will call “Social Insurance”.

SPRINT to Cut Thousands of Jobs—-Man on the street

    Nov. 4, 2015 9:25 a.m. ET

TOKYO— Masayoshi Son, the billionaire founder and chairman of SoftBank Group Corp., said thousands of jobs will be cut at Sprint Corp. as part of a turnaround effort at the struggling U.S. wireless carrier his company bought in 2013.

During an earnings presentation Wednesday, Mr. Son said cost-cutting measures were being undertaken at Sprint to slash $2 billion annually in expenses and said the process would involve “thousands” of job cuts.

    • Greg Hunter

Well Jim, with $20 trillion in cash debt and $200 trillion in unfunded liabilities, what do you suggest?
      Greg

      • don

While the 20+ trillion is real debt. The 200 trillion in unfunded liabilities is not currently real, just a future projection. Basic reforms could reduce that number to zero…and at some point it will because their are insufficient dollars to fund 200 trillion dollars…we’ll be forced to reform social security, medicare, etc. sooner rather than later. The sooner the better.

By the way we had higher levels of debt in 1940-1950, around 125% of GDP.

One other point. If we had not reset the debt ceiling it would not result in default. The US takes in more than enough tax dollars every month to make our debt payments…programs would need to be cut, and should anyway, but there would be no default.

        • Greg Hunter

          Don,
You said, “The 200 trillion in unfunded liabilities is not currently real, just a future projection. Basic reforms could reduce that number to zero.” You are joking, right?

You said, “By the way we had higher levels of debt in 1940-1950, around 125% of GDP.” Apples and oranges comparison. The U.S. had the dominate manufacturing base and we were a creditor nation not a debtor nation and manufacturing base in the U.S. has been offshored.

You said, “One other point. If we had not reset the debt ceiling it would not result in default.” In part I agree but that is a big risk with the $1 quadrillion in derivatives most of which are interest rate sensitive in the bond market?

          Thank you for your comment.

      Tulip.
Take a number and go to the back of the sniper line. This site is for critical thinkers who are intelligent enough to understand that we can’t paper over our financial debt any longer. Any market that is being manipulated can never be forecast with any degree of accuracy no matter how astute you may be. But aside from that what difference would it make if I told you a specific date? People like you never listen anyway until they’re standing in a bread line.

    • Vince Shook

      Hi Tulip,
As you can tell from the many responses to your common sense concerns, several here are resistant to certain facts when those facts contradict their biases. Here are just a few: 1. the Comex will most likely never default because, yes, they CAN settle in paper dollars. 2. the derivative market will most likely never collapse because the ISDA controls what is and what is not, a default 3. the ISDA is controlled by its member banks who hold most of the derivative positions. 4. The gold market is allowed, BY LAW, to be manipulated (both down and UP) by the US government, and so it will be, in order to protect their own fiat currency objectives. 5. The government/Fed/central banks have been successful in their manipulation of the bond market (interest rates) 6. The stock market is 1/3 the size of the bond market and therefore much easier to manipulate 7. There is a government “plunge protection team” in existence to manipulate the stock market. 8. All the central banks and major governments in the world are hell bent on preserving the current fiat money system — and opposing them is the folly called “fighting the Fed”. 9. The Fed, et al, can remain monetarily manipulative longer than the normal person can remain defensively solvent, while being OVERLY invested in precious metals, etc. 10. If the world was a federal courtroom, none — repeat NONE — of the pundits writing and interviewed here and elsewhere would be allowed to preside as a judge due to their conflicts of interest (= they sell precious metals, newsletters, financial services, etc. that benefit from pushing an economic collapse). 11. Not being in stocks the last several years has been a big mistake (mine included). It most probably will be in the future. 12. Listening to and believing in many here and on other sites, have cost people DEARLY in their alternative investments. 13. Japan has survived doing what the Fed is now doing, for several decades. 14. This is going to be a long and incremental currency decline. 15. If there is war, financial collapse, etc. in the rest of the world, the US dollar will most probably rise as a safe haven and the gold price would most likely be even further suppressed in dollar terms. 16. If the Fed continues to print, covertly or overtly, the stock market will most probably rise and PM prices will most probably continue to be suppressed to hide the printing.
Tulip, at 66 years old, I know that rarely do the most extreme things contemplated in life ever happen. I would put a US dollar collapse in that category. While I have made some plans for a MAJOR collapse (I do own some precious metals, reserve food stuffs, etc.), I will remain in business and fully engaged in our American economy, seeing both as my best chance of providing for my family and those that I care about. With my eye out for indications of consequential changes in our current situation, I view this as the most prudent of actions. Best of luck to you and to all.

      • Jerry

        Vince.
Your ignorance is breathtaking. I guess as long as the Federal Reserve can continue to print money to cover the 220 Trillion dollars of unfunded liabilities that can’t be covered with 2 Trillion in tax revenue, live is great.

Referring to my input as being a ‘sniper’… is superfluous… of course I can think what I want Greg but is that your response to my point….?You evade sincere input if it questions your pundits content here….

        • Greg Hunter

          Tulip,
This is not a trading site. So, I care not about “timing” the markets. What is coming is nothing short of a financial calamity (particularly in paper assets) the likes of which the world has never seen. Trillions of $’s of bonds are and will be rendered worthless. The global debt is massive and un-payable. If you are not grasping what this means, you should. The socialist/communist dream is ending with a thud for the entire globe.

I can tell you what the religion of peace’s real culture is: Exterminate the Infidels. They tried it once and lost, but hey Europe with short memories, THE….I…R BACK!

    Rich Ttreadway . YOUR’E NUTS!

  55. mushoom

    Okay…..

So what happened to all the gold from Ukraine, Libya, Iraq &c…?

    • paul

I imagine they are probably stealing other peoples gold to place in Fort Knox … just in case there is an audit … so they can say … see there is gold there! … the only problem is they have to steal much much more … I hear they are now stealing Saudi gold held in Switzerland … but I’m not sure even that can bring the total back up to 8000 tons??

  56. Bruce Maclean

Greg, thank you so much for another fantastic interview with Bill Holter, and thanks also to Mr. Holter. I have one comment with regard to the US announcement of sending 50 military personnel into Syria. This announcement makes sense to me only if it is a bluff. I contend these 50 military personnel will be stationed far from harm’s way. If the Russians believe this bluff they will avoid hitting targets where US personnel may be, and this bluff costs the US nothing. I believe the Russians will not fall for this bluff, and will not deviate from their choice of targets.

  57. Mike R

Yikes. I’ve followed some of Holter’s writing for a bit, but honestly I think with the way gold is way down, he must have lost a lot of money on some big bets, and now is losing his marbles talking about gold being priced at $100k per ounce. Gold couldn’t make it over $1900, and has been in a bear market since. When will people learn, that gold is not being manipulated downward, but rather its a function of what people are really willing to pay for it now ?

Good luck to the people who even remotely believe gold will go to $2500, let alone $100,000. If China could just ‘re-price’ it and declare it like a fiat currency, why wouldn’t they have done that long ago ? They have a huge domestic gold mining and supply industry. They could keep mining forever, and not extract it all. Of course they are never going to reveal what they have in the ground, or in some vaults, bc that is part of the game. China is in deep doo doo folks economically speaking, and has no possible way to employ even half the workers they had working just 3 years ago. This due to massive debt they incurred to employ them, but the continued rapid change where use of robotics is simply taking over nearly every aspect of manufacturing. Labor in manufacturing is pretty much gone – kiss it goodbye unless you are able to attract someone to work at 50 cents an hour, and even then no one would do that because of all the liability that workers represent – strikes, illness, unpredictable leave, and thats in a well developed country. The US is NOT export or even import dependent upon China. Go to Alibaba sometime, and see the gazzillion things China is willing to build you cheaply. They are way overcapacitied on everything BUT, by the time you pay for shipping, import fees, waiting for it, hoping it is in a re-sellable or useable condition, you can build the same thing here with robotics, far more reliably with far higher quality, and again less liability. The reason the dollar is strong, is the world is recognizing we have leap frogged all of them. See we outsourced high labor garbage stuff, which we should have, and have since re-built the US with far more efficient production. From small businesses on up to big business, we are simply killing most other countries, and we have competitive wages, which may not be great for the unskilled, but if you get the right skills you are in high demand. Millions of jobs are still remaining unfilled, so these firms just keep running lean. I challenge each of you to do your homework on what is going on here in the US. You’re getting sucked into a lot of rhetoric and sky is falling doom, without recognizing the profound shift in American business. Trump is actually way behind when he says lets make America Great again. He knows it. He knows its already great, and simply wants to ride into office, and experience the great business environment that will be occurring over the next 5,10, 15 years.

    • Greg5150

You post is the biggest load of BS I have ever read. Especially this line “by the time you pay for shipping, import fees, waiting for it, hoping it is in a re-sellable or useable condition, you can build the same thing here with robotics, far more reliably with far higher quality, and again less liability.” Oh really, then why isn’t the Iphone manufactured in the USA by robots?

I have been in the autoparts business for 15 years and there are hardly and parts manufactured in this country anymore. What little manufacturing is left is done with Asian built and designed machine tools. The USA has little or no manufacturing know how left. There is absolutely no cost advantage to manufacture in the USA versus China…NONE!

Very interesting development. http://www.natcoresolar.com/news/natcore-technology-develops-solar-cell-that-eliminates-use-of-silver/ Natcore it seems has been to totally eliminate Silver in solar panels by using Aluminium with its new technology. Aluminium is a poor conductor in the world of metals, so why use it? I’m a tad suspicious. Silver in solar panels makes up only 6% of its use.

It will be interesting to see if this is the real deal or a scare campaign to stop us buying it.

  59. barry

I’ve said in the past that if Russia were to attack non NATO member Saudi Arabia, they would see the price of oil go up which they need and now it would appear the petro dollar would take a hit also.

  60. Frank

You could liken this to the big fault line that is under the sea of nothern US,we all know it is going to break,it is well over due,and when it does as nobody knows,it is going to be goodbye to a lot of people.
I would put the financial system of the world in the same boat.
As for Europe what is going to happen when the money dries up.
The answers to these problems will be hear soon.
I have to say Bill quietly makes you think with the way he lays things out

  61. Hugh

Bill was also the guy who said China was going to announce 10K tons or more in gold reserves when it was clear to more level heads the China benefits greatly from the current system and does not wish to disrupt it. What did they announce 1.7k.

Now China is going to reprice to 100K? I’m a longer term gold bull and appreciate the writings of guys like Faber and Rickards, also long term bulls but with a balance view of the events. Holter discredits the gold camp. It’s probably why he now writes and travels with Sinclair another guy whose credibility is shot. Before you say no fair take a close look at Sinclairs company TRX and tell me what has gone on there is legit.

  62. Mike Gleason

All this arguing about what reality is. We can’t even agree about what just happened. Nobody can predict with certainty the future. These are my predictions, if you play with fire you get burned, what goes around comes around.
Will gold coins or freeze dried food save your ass if Fukushima is allowed to descend into a full meltdown? Live each day in peace. Someday for each of us, tomorrow will never come. That prediction you can bet on.

  63. Jerry

Greg, I think we have a winner.
The White House is preparing for an EMP event of “some” kind.
    https://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2015/10/28/enhancing-national-preparedness-space-weather-events

What better way for the banking cabal to wipe the financial slate clean, and cover their tracks, than to use an EMP attack? I guess we should know by now after watching Louis Lerner and Hilary Clinton delete valuable information in a computer without any consequences, that the same template would be used to wipe out financial information in our banking system. Sometimes to catch a thief, you have to think like one.

    • Jerry

This is what is currently parked in Jacksonville. Two Chinese warships carrying approximately 20 cruse missiles each with a range of over 800 miles.
      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_052C_destroyer

Greg, does it seem odd to you that the pentagon would make such a stink about the islands in the south china sea, and then let these destroyers park in an American port?
To me the Chinese have found a way under our defense system. We let them in. If our military has to respond to a first strike, they will not have enough time to do it.

    • Faith

@Jerry: I read the book “One Second After” a few years ago. Again, you and I agree. An EMP strike over two cities, NYC and DC, would cripple the US for months, if not years.

      • SD MD

Faith. An EMP is serious stuff. Can you post a link to this?

        • Faith

@SD MD: I am not very good at posing links because I have an Ipad, a custom PC, and my smart phone that uses Android. They do not play together well. I will do my best.

          http://www.amazon.com/One-Second-After-William-Forstchen/dp/0765356864

This author has a new book called “One Year After.”

          http://www.amazon.com/One-Year-After-A-Novel/dp/0765376709/ref=pd_bxgy_14_img_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=0J6HYMM0BCW1BHH5QHDV

The forward of the book, “One Second After” is by Newt Gingrich. In the footnotes is an old link which I have just verified as still valid: http://www.empcommission.org

Many of the book footnotes in the fictional story, “One Second After,” date from 1997 to 2005. Yes, this fictional story had footnotes.

As a signal corps technician that served during the Cold War, I am well aware of electronic warfare devices. I was an active-duty service member more than 35 years ago so nothing I post here is classified. People have no idea how fragile the electronic infrastructure is inside the US.

Watching the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and Superstorm Sandy were eye-opening. This is one of the reasons I have advised people to turn off the power in their residence for 48 hours as a test. Can you boil water? Can you stay warm or cool (depending on your location). Can you prepare a can of soup? A cup of tea or a cup of coffee? I am not being condescening, just honest. It is a good test.

  64. Hank

For those who believe that if Gold (& Silver) are re-priced at much higher prices that it would mean everyday items (food, gas, etc) would also have to dramatically jump to similar multiples…I am not so sure about that. Very few westerner individuals actually have physical Gold or Silver, other than a few jewelry items, I’ve heard fewer than 01% of Americans have “stacked” PMs. There’s just not that much quantity available in the world.
So if you have stored any type of quantity, you (or your children) will likely be one of the very few lucky (rich) ones once the inevitable happens. 😉

This is reality. This is what is really going on. Hidden by a shroud of secrecy yet you all worry about your money. Unknown and unaware that your future has already been determined by greedy fools.

    • Rob

So where is the evidence of catastrophe from Fukushima? I agree it’s a disaster but the fuel from reactor #2 is sinking into the ground. It’s not like it will blow up and poison the whole earth. I’m not being critical. I just understand the implications.

  66. Brewmaster

This has to be the silliest headline of all time. So unrealistic that I would bet my life against it. Why would they revalue the gold to 100K when they can buy all they want at 1100 bucks an ounce? Apparently this guy makes his living selling fear and gold and silver. Sad. That being said, I am long term bullish on metals but the bottom may or may not be in yet. I would be a fairly aggressive buyer of gold from 1000 to 700 dollars, averaging in.

    • Bill Holter

an ounce is an ounce is an ounce, what will a dollar be worth after the bankruptcy of the U.S.. Sorry you can’t see it now …you will.

      • Brewmaster

Japanese debt is 2-3 times larger than ours on a debt to gdp basis. We most likely have a couple decades before we file bankruptcy. I don’t disagree that we are trending in that direction though. I do disagree that some imminent collapse is only days away. That kind of thinking is probably good to push if one is in the business of selling precious metals though.

        • Greg Hunter

          Brewmaster,
Yen is not the worlds reserve currency. Have you heard of the AIIB?

    • jim chudzinski

Brewmaster , your an idiot if you think that the powers that be will manipulate the price of gold to $700 . At that price it would be bought up so fast by everyone that it would clean out the supply in a few days , and then that will crash the system.

      • Silence is Golden

Even with the exisiting well known shortness of supply…we still have a functional market (if you can call it that). Wouldnt surprise me to see the ratio of shorts/deliverable go from 100:1 to 300:1 to 1000: 1. At 100:1 everyone thought the Comex would explode and China would crash the system. Now at 300:1 we still see the sun come up every day. Go figure. We all know they are playing with fire here. Margins and room for error are very minute. Time and patience is what is required.

        • Hank

Harvey Organ’s Blog tonight (05 Nov) shows a withdrawal of 14.53Tons of Gold from GLD today, so they’re likely running on fumes; we already know that the Comex only has 4.7 tons of registered Gold for delivery, so they are both running on fumes/sold out…

Unless they (the GLD and Comex) are restocked pdq, they will be emptied of Gold any day now!!!!
          WOW!

This could be the BlackSwan we’ve been looking for (???).

          • Brewmaster

Been hearing that for 15 years Hank.

      • Brewmaster

I didn’t say it was going to $700, I said I was expecting to see a low BETWEEN 700-1000. We are getting closer by the day and I would expect to see sub 1000 before the year is out. There is no manipulation, only trading. I trade, you trade, the miners trade, the government trades. People have said I was an idiot all the way down as I cash my checks from my trading account shorts. I always use stops. The only idiots are the longs without stops.

  67. Linda louin

    Hello Greg:
Great interview. Since we can be sure that at some point a crash is coming and history has demonstrated that fiat/not backed currency doesn’t work, could the Feds be so stupid that they’d actually repeat this blunder in a similar method of exchange after the plug is pulled? Could they really be such idiots that they’d plunder away ALL US gold reserves now, making the US a sitting duck in the future? Is it possible that they have secured a secret source of gold (US mine) somewhere that would be utilized after a crash/reset? I know it sounds like a pipe dream, but just wondering…

  68. ulrich sherry

    Hi Greg,
Bill Holter never disappoints. Thank you.
Just a thought..Everyone asks about where this gold is coming from being bought up by China. The US stole all the gold from Iraq and Libya. Not to mention an enormous amount held in the Philipines ( according to Karen Hudes). Given that China prefers Kilo bars and that most of the gold stolen was in larger bars ( 400 oz etc), it sounds like the US has bought some time whilst also destroying any evidence of theft from Sovereign States, by rebranding the gold and resizing the bars for delivery.

  69. Clint Bower Sr.

    Greg,
You may know I am a weekly follower ?
You and your guests have talked about the $19 trillion national debt. We never hear from the current Presidential candidates ,on how they purpose to handle this large and lurking Alligator the one thing that is about the bite the the USA right square in the Butt. Main stream media is clueless maybe ? you can help shed more light with one of your guests.
    Clint

    • Greg Hunter

Thank you Clint I will try.
      Greg

  70. Michael Brunner

Greg…Bill Holter does understand what’s going on and how it will play out. Thank you very much for your help and support for our country and your concern for our future and that of our posterity.

    • Greg Hunter

Thank you Michael. The amount of debt is very hard for people to grasp. There is noting like it in all of recorded history. A paradigm change (not just a crash) is mathematically certain. It is only a matter of when and time is getting shorter.
      Greg

      • Rob

The debt was $1 trillion in 1981. It was $4.3T when Bush took office. It was $11T when Obama took office. It will be over $20T when he leaves. $20 trillion is 20,000 billion. It will double again in six years. Congress just passed a two year budget deal that gives $80B more to the Pentagon. There is no effort or belief that it can ever be controlled. So will we’ all be here in 2020 discussing the same things when the debt is $40T? If this ‘recovery’ is true and rates stabilize at 4% that will be 1.6T per year in interest in 2020. Does that seem possible in a functioning economy? I’d ask that question of all here.

        • JC Davis

Rob. You said we’ all be here in 2020 discussing the same things when the debt is $40T? This would be true forever if there were no alternative currency. With other countries jumping the dollar ship in September it started taking on water. In October it was seen buy the world. By the end of December Who knows if we will be in all out war, or a new currency. We do know currencies have changed a lot in 2015. Without normalcy bias and the US war machine the dollar would have already disappeared.

  71. dee garmon

Absolutely incredible, bring him back again next week or the week after!

  72. Bradford

Greg. I have never commented on your site but don’t you think it’s a little ridiculous posting a guest who is calling for $100K gold, when it is under $1200 right now. Are you kidding or what?

    • Greg Hunter

      Bradford,
How do you think the $20 trillion in debt and $200 trillion in liabilities are going to be resolved? Have you considered this or are you going to think we can all keep living this dream with zero downside? Now that’s what I call a “little ridiculous.”
      Greg

      • Brewmaster

Greg, a default on debt would likely be deflationary, and result in lower gold price. Cash would be king if the us were to default. My guess is that this is 20+ years away.

        • Greg Hunter

          Brewmaster,
That would require the rest of the world to ignore our already dire financial problems for two decades. Not sure they would not monetize the Treasury market and let other debt default. We would get both at the same time. There is also at least $16 of liquid dollar assets already held outside the country.
          Greg

Greg – Keep and eye on Germany, everyone has there’s eyes on Gold, Silver, Russia, China, something is gonna happen with the EU. Angela Merkels era is coming to an end, a strong man will soon come out of Germany. With all these refugees in europe, history and the bible tells us a strong man will appear very soon.

The prophet Daniel talks about a deceiful man to soon come on the scene, i believe he will come from Germany and lead the 10 nation EU. Karl Theodroe Gutternberg is one to watch.

Daniel 8:23-25 “And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. 24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. 25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.”

How did Merkel ‘invite ‘the refugee crisis…???? Please explain…

        • Greg Hunter

          Tulip,
She has opened the borders of her country and invited in millions. No country can handle that sort of influx.

  75. Rick E.

A little fanciful. All the Chinese/Russians need to do is start posting a bid on the Shanghai Gold Exchange at $1,500 (US) and the Sellers, Hedgers, Spread traders do all of their selling on the Shanghai and the Western price either moves in line or suffers a further drain of their vaults. Years down the road prices might move into the stratosphere, but for now—–why pay thousands more when a few hundred more moves all of the trades to you?

  76. Sylvia

Bill: “Rule of Law” was referred to in the book “Animal Farm’ “We are all equal, but some of us are more equal than others” . There are a lot of government people who should be wearing orange prison suits now because they are not following that rule.
Thanks to Bill Holter for attempting to wake up a few more fellow Americans.
He presents straight talking advice and accurate information.

People’s comments are too long and too many. Greg, you should limit the comments to one posted comment. Some of these people are abusing the comment privilege by writing a regular thesis, then sending in about 10 comments. If you can’t speak your mind in a few words , go back to school and take a writing class .

The Bible says : “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge” Hosea 4:6. This verse was never more true than it is today. Thanks to Gregg and Bill for their good work.
