Its reassuring to know there is someone on the perimeter watching out ,and keeping us informed ,on the state of affairs. Our government certainly isn’t .However, if they say they are…it’s usually misinformed. You’ve got a great site here ,so keep on ,keeping on…patriot.

  • Duncan A. Jones says:

    Dear Mr. Hunter:

I thank you for placing the truth of the grand banking fraud succinctly in an arena that all may peruse. You have distilled the banking psycho-babble into what most can understand.

I would urge you to research the persistent decades old engineered trade deficit with the Chinese, the Petro-Arabs, and Petro-Persians. The leader of the Persians has stated the end of United States will come soon. While I realize a grand conspiracy is suggested I also am old enough to know that “Just because you are paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you”.

Americans have lived well beyond their means for decades by borrowing from other nations. I do not believe in coincidences. Litigation over 25 years has shown me coincidences are an extreme rarity. The deficit bill has come due and the government-banking complex having squandered what was borrowed must inflate the dollar to attempt to pay the bill and also implode the economy to stop the persistent ruinous annual trade deficits caused by non-productive consumptive retail economy.

Thank you for your investigative reporting and please keep it up. You are a critical to a free press and society.

    Very truly yours,

Duncan A. Jones, Esq. – retired

Question for all of you- with all of the credible data available by so many- how is it the American Middle Class is being eliminated? We can talk hours about “this or that”,can we not? • Dean M Smith says:

      Norm,

Been seeing this for so long, seems they want us to be serfs once again, bowing to the lords and ladies of this world. Americans used to be curious and some what defiant. It seems now most are rather, passive, believe everything they are told and so self absorbed that they do not even bother to think of anyone else but themselves. The government for the most part serves Wall St and the ultra wealthy. We are losing our democracy and our prosperity. It seems as if we have been in a class war for decades and only one class is fighting. The majority of the American people for the most part, to be blunt, need to pull their heads out of their asses get some air, think, and grow a spine. Worried about the future of my children and my nation. This dad is not happy, with the government that is supposed to represent him, his family and his fellow Americans. They have ceased to do so and must be held accountable.

      • Jerry says:

Norm and Dean you are right on. The assault on and decline of the middle class was foretold by the founding fathers as the behavorial and mathematical outcome of central banking (read Federal Reserve). If you think the nation is hurting now just wait until inflation kicks in! I doubt if we will even be permitted to own an opinion then!

  • jeff says:

Norm Ezzie, Right on the money. I couldn’t say it any better. Greg, Thank You for what you do. JAN

  • Brutus says:

The United States has been incrementally transformed from a government for the people, by the people to a new economic government for the fascist few and by the fascist few.

How did we lose it all? – Norm Ezzie

The answer is BRETTON WOODS TREATY AGREEMENTS

Bretton Woods Treaty Agreements is the foundation for the Old World Order, which they now call the New World Order. This treaty was illegally signed into law and Unconstitutionally ratified in 1945. According to article 7 of the treaty, the fascist banksters have assumed the sovereignty of the nation. The bankers are the sovereigns, they are Supra Sovereign to all national laws. If you ask the liars about the agreement, they will say it is a failed system.

If that is the case, then WHY are the ORGANIZATIONS that it birthed still in full force such as the WORLD BANK, IMF, WTO, GATT, NAFTA, and soon, if the unsuspecting public allow it, the North American Union. That’s the problem. Want the solution?

I found your posted article by the guest Brian Sussman very informative.

I have always doubted Global Warming in its basic concept. I refer you to Chemistry 101 and the Law of Consevation of Matter–You can neither create, nor destroy matter, it only changes. Are we to believe that the Earth cannot recycle its own matter? Anyway, that’s my take on it and that will never change.

I love what you do and I fear for this country. Keep up the good work.

In closing, I have a suggestion, why don’t we hijack Earth Day and, as Sussman notes, actually celebrate this wonderful planet Earth. maybe we could redirect the sentiment. Just a thought.

Heard you on 101.1 and came to the site. Just as I figured. Some dude with a website pushing everything negative trying to get famous. This coming from someone who has a real job and actually produces something real. You kept mentioning UGA scientist against gov position but my guess is you would speak against a scientist in any other case, especially college professors. Typical right wing nut job. Hypocrite to make a narrow point and hope everyone listens. Bet this post will not make it on the site.

    • Greg says:

      Bob Smith,
I’ll be happy to put your comment on anytime. But Bob, I don’t think you realize that this kind of comment, to a complete stranger, makes you look like a foolish, narrow minded jerk. Your comment is nasty and unsubstantiated and offers no real information or insight. If this is the way you would like to portray yourself to people around the globe, be my guest. I hope I can win you over someday. Even if you don’t agree with someone you can be respectful. I always say “good men can disagree.” Thank you for your comment.
      Respectfully,
      Greg

  • Chris kierst says:

I found your column about Uncle Sam covering for BP quite interesting. Full Disclosure: I am a professional oilfield geologist.

I and many other colleagues have been angered by many things about this mess, not the least of which was the loss of the lives of the 11 Louisiana oilfield workers on the drill rig. Most oilfield people I know are proud of what they do.

A problem in the domestic petroleum industry is the greying and retirement of the old hands. These are real survivors. It should be emphasized that anyone that managed to stay employed (more or even less, but at least sometimes) during the last 25 years is a real trooper. For 20 years after about 1982 it was not easy to retain employment in the oilfield and many very good people were laid off (including me, but I found another job after some more university to upgrade my obsolescent tech skills).

The nation preferred to buy or conquer petroleum rather than to look for it. I think it still does. I have a geologist colleague who was laid off as recently as 2005 after working across that span. The “oilpatch” was gradually coming out of the rut for about the last 5 years and “enjoying” higher petroleum prices when the wheels came off the economy (It wasn’t our fault – we don’t print the green and peachbacks!). The surviving companies were starting to add staff cautiously when it hit the fan in July, 2008. We were beginning to see a few more “kids” around the industry. The companies are now very wary and not committing funds unless forced to and then only on high percentage projects. Getting a permit to drill wasn’t getting any easier either (before the BP mess).

The upshot of all the foregoing is is this, oilpatch people are pretty pissed at BP an we don’t think they are “too big to fail or pay damages for that matter – we beleive in responsibility.

  • What can I say….I just had breakfast with Greg and his wife of 19 years…you guys are awesome and always have been and what an honor it is to be considered one of your friends.
Greg your website stands for principles and integrity that alot of people have a tendancy to forget about these days.
It is with great honor that you are added to my “favorites” right off the bat! You tell us the truth as we need to hear it, whether we want to or not!
I have forgotten how in awe I am whenever I am in your presense!
What a privlege to see you both and lets not let it be 10 years again before we see other. Love you guys!

  • Pay It Forward says:

    Hi Greg,

Just want to say “Thank you!” for reporting the truth and sharing information and knowledge for those of us with inquiring minds. I discovered you because of CoastToCoast. We need more investigative journalists with integrity and a passion for telling us what MSM won’t.

I haven’t watch TV in over a year now as I got tired of the “propagenda” spewing out of it and I have been educating myself by reading/listening to the numerous internet independent media resources. It’s changed my reality and how I see the world. I also realize how important it is to prepare for the coming changes – physically, emotionally and spiritually. It can be a little scary but also very empowering. I think TV is a huge reason why we don’t have a more informed citizenship here in the US. I humbly consider myself wiser about what’s going in the world than my colleagues with MBAs, MDs and PhDs.(LOL)

It’s also nice of you to respond to all your readers comments.

How can I find out what other shows you appear on? I don’t see anything on your website. Am I missing it? I’m happy to sign up for your newsletter if you include this info. I’m unsubscribing to many newsletters due to in-box overload but will make an exception.

Keep up the great work! :)

    Heather

    • Greg says:

      Heather,
Thank you for the comment and kind words. I am honored by what you wrote. I am doing some other local radio shows on the East coast and in San Francisco and of course C to C AM. Other than that, I just work to write good stuff and grow this site. I don’t have a paid news letter. I just have twitter (usawatchdogcom) and you can sign up for feed burned (on the right hand side of the main page of the site) and it will e-mail you everytime I wriite a new post. Thank you again for your support.

    Hi Greg

I only heard a little bit of what you had to say on coast last night so was wondering if by chance you’ll be writing a brief summary of what you had to say during that interview? For example, I missed who it was you were quoting re the financial problems that will occur in the next 6 to 9 months.

    I’ve now bookmarked this website!

    Hi Greg,
Someone sent me the link to the Coast to Coast piece you did on foreclosures. As I was listening, I thought your voice sounded familiar, and of course your name was very familiar. I checked out your website and saw the photo and low and behold, it was the same Greg Hunter from the old days of PM Magazine (I think ?) that aired on WFMY years ago.

Glad to see that you are doing the real tough investigative news. We truly need this type of journalism in a day and time when none exist.
Keep up the good work, and keep asking the tough questions that no one else wants to ask.

  • Nikki Gralnick says:

Hi Greg, heard you on Coast to Coast this Sunday. I was with Countrywide who then was taken over by B of A. I called B of A who told me Fannie Mae holds my loan. I called them but they refused to tell me who holds the Promissory Note! So, where do I go from here?
My home is in Arizona. Would appreciate any advice you could offer.

    Thanks!

    • Greg says:

      Nikki,
The Promissory Note proves ownership and that you are paying the rightful owner of the mortgage. Your next step should be to talk to a qualified real estate attorney in your state. This is a giant mess with no easy answers.
      Greg

      • Nikki Gralnick says:

        Hi Greg,

Appreciate your response. I have spoken to qualified RE attorneys to no avail. They told me that they are not having any more luck than the individual homeowners. I’ve been calling Fannie Mae and what a joke. The individuals I spoke with don’t even know what a promissory note is! I thought I’d file a formal complaint with the AG in AZ, but really don’t think that will get me anywhere. Are there any class-action suits that I could join? What other avenues do I have. Thanks!

        • Greg says:

          Nikki,
This is why I have been calling this the “Biggest Fraud in History.” It is also the biggest financial mess in history. Make sure you find and keep ALL your mortgage records. Thant means find the original loan origination paperwork, kep all payment information, tax information, insurance information. There are going to be no easy answers or quick fixes to this problem. I am sure lawsuits are coming and soon. Thank you for your comment and please let us know what happens with your mortgage. One recent reader was offered a free refi from Wells Fargo after he asked for the Promissory Note. You think Wells wanted to create a new one? Thank you.

To nikki, not sure why folks (including here) are giving you a bad info…you don’t need a lawyer…your mortgage is held by the people you send the check too.

    You are welcome.

    • Greg says:

      John,
Not if it is held in MERS. (Mortgage Electronic Registry System.) Many in Congress, academia and mortgage world have been quoted on this site to back up my claim. It is all explained quite nicely in a video from former Congressman Alan Grayson. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruEeuskrAE0&feature=player_embedded . You are welcome John and Nikki. By the way, Grayson is a former law clerk for the Supreme Court and graduated at the top of his Harvard Law School class. He also has an earned PhD.

allow your readers to create their own topics and to discuss and debate.

the sad fact is: the constitutional republic of the united states of america has been overthrown. it is a done deal. the takeover cannot be stopped because it has already happened. it can only be reversed. and that is not going to be easy. information is essential for we the people to have a chance.
