Weekly News Wrap-Up 7.11.14

4.jpgBy Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com

I warned last week about the kidnapping and murder of three Israelis and revenge killing of a Palestinian teen sparking violence in Israel.  My fear is now been confirmed with Hamas rocket attacks on various targets in Israel.  Israel is making counter attacks that have claimed the lives of dozens in Gaza.  One big development is the rockets that Hamas is using are now more powerful and have up to a 100 mile range.  In 2012, the rockets had only a 50 mile range.  Israel has called up at least 40,000 troops and is getting ready for a ground assault in Gaza against Hamas.  Now, I am worried about a much wider war being sparked in the Middle East.  Does Israel also see a much wider war coming, and is it going to knock out Hamas now?  Another big development:  ISIS, or the Islamic State in Western Iraq and Eastern Syria, has acquired both chemical weapons and nearly 90 pounds of nuclear material.  Is Israel worried about chemical weapons or nuclear material ending up in a Hamas rocket?  I think the answer is clearly yes, and this will get much worse before it gets better.  There are attempts at brokering a cease-fire by President Obama, but I don’t expect that until heavy damage has been done to Hamas’ ability to fire rockets into Tel Aviv.

In Ukraine, it looks like pro-government forces have the upper hand and have been winning over the pro-Russian separatists.  I do not know how long this is going to last before Russia steps in.  Russia has openly worried that what the Ukraine government might do is the same “ethnic cleansing.”  Top Russian officials have clearly stated it will not allow that to happen.  I think, at some point, Russia will cross the border and put a stop to the killing and the Ukraine army.  It will be a total mismatch.

Closer to home on the southern U.S. border, illegal aliens continue to cross over by the thousands.  Texas Governor Rick Perry forced a meeting with President Obama that some say he laughed through.  There are photos of the President laughing on one side of a table and Governor Perry and his lieutenants on the other side–not smiling.  Obama wants Congress to give him $3.7 billion in emergency money, and Republicans are balking because they do not trust him to actually close the border.  Perry and others want the border closed ASAP and have asked the President to roll out the National Guard to do it.   President Obama is not budging and is allowing the crisis he caused to fester.  It looks like some sort of perverted negotiating tactic that has some Democrats very worried about the mid-term elections.  I can’t see how this is a winning strategy.  Even African Americans are questioning allowing this flood of illegal immigration.

On the economic front, Portugal’s largest bank missed a bond payment and defaulted on debt.  You think that does not affect you?  Think again.  The global banking system is interconnected. This default could cause a daisy chain of defaults that could and probably will hit the global banking system.  Gregory Mannarino of TradersChoice.net says the “entire system is malignant” and backed full of sour debt that is “unimaginable.”  He says, “This is Europe’s Lehman Brothers moment that is multiple folds larger.” The default of Lehman caused the 2008 meltdown, and Mannarino says you might want to be taking some money out of your bank.  (Click here to see Mannarino’s entire video.)  It has been widely reported that Europe plans to take depositor money in the next banking crisis, and that will also hit U.S. banks.

Finally, former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin was convicted of bribery, fraud and money laundering.  He will be serving the next ten years in jail.  If Nagin can get ten years for money laundering, why hasn’t one big banker been jailed for laundering money for terrorists such as Iran and Sudan?  That’s not just crime, but treason.  Of course, there are many other crimes such as JP Morgan who admitted to helping Bernie Madoff with his $60 billion fraud.   If Nagin can get 10 years for petty money laundering, why the heck can’t big bankers be convicted for laundering money in the billions of dollars?

    Greg and Jerry,
I wonder if the Portugese bank bond default is related to the July 15th date you have been mentioning from your City of London source since all the banks are pretty much intertwined through derivatives. All the very best. The grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

    • Galaxy 500

It wasnt the bank defaulting, it was a holding company that had majority ownership of the bank. They default on commercial paper…short term debt instruments

    • Jerry

      Mark
I don’t think the Portuguese Bank default has much to do with what’s coming. This is pretty well orchestrated. The collapse will not happen by chance. These are the same people who have been manipulating the markets for years. Its on schedule.

    greg; events are picking up more speed, here is an egon von greyerz quote;

Greyerz: “Eric, the cracks in the world and the world economy are getting greater by the day, and we are soon entering a stage where these cracks will turn into black holes. One of Portugal’s largest banks is now under real financial pressure. And in Austria, the Hypo Alpe Bank is finished. Erste Bank is also under pressure due to major losses on mortgage loans in Swiss francs to Hungary and Romania….

“We’ve been discussing for a while how the European banks are not reflecting their true bad debt situation, and this is not just in countries like Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Greece, but also in France.

In Germany, Deutsche Bank, which has 50-times leverage, is also having problems. Even in Sweden, whose economy is considered robust, they could not survive a major increase in interest rates. The Swedes are borrowing more than most European countries in relation to their size.

Mario Draghi is aware of all this and will soon have to pull the trigger on a major support package. The deflation in Europe is already a major problem since countries are borrowing even more due to the low interest rates. So debts are rising and so are the risks. All of this will lead to major bail-ins worldwide, with depositors being liable for the banks losses.

Germany has now approved bail-ins and the same is true for Canada. We will soon see the return of the 2008-style crisis. This time it will not be governments that will take the first hit, but bank depositors. But eventually governments will have to step in since depositors funds will not cover the bank losses as the one quadrillion derivatives bubble explodes.

Stock markets are still at ridiculous levels in many countries. In the U.S., for example, there are a lot fewer people employed, and the ones who have jobs have not seen a real wage increase for the last 30 years. The U.S. also has massive debts and deficits, and on top of that GDP is falling. Is that the sign of a booming economy? No, certainly not. And investors will soon find out through painful losses.

    USAWD COMMENTER “THIRTEENTHFLOOR” STATES,

    ThirteenthFloor07/07/2014 •
Brian, I used to live in Battery Park near the WTC. On 9/11 I worked at 140 Broadway on the 50th floor. I watched a plane hit the south tower from 200 ft away in my office. My wife was in the E-train subway beneath the north tower when the first plane hit on her way to work. I supplied compliance recording and software systems for 80 percent of ALL the worlds banks. I lost over 50 customer ‘friends’ and two co-workers in those buildings that day. The point that is often overlooked about that day…over 1 trillion USD worth of bonds from Canter-Fitz disappeared and all the Gold in three major vaults disappeared NEVER to be found or investigated (note that was 600 billion at 2001 price). People fail to realize the WTC was in fact the largest physical bank in the world. 9/11 is the day America lost its freedom, many loved ones, and the greatest bank heist of all time.

The lack of enforcement on the border will result in larger and larger groups of people that will protest. This could turn into a armed standoff.

Just as we seen with the Bundy ranch the same can happen with this.

It seems just a small number of wealthy American fund this type of stupid policy.
They don’t get it – even after a large group was protesting the 1%.

Our government no longer represents the people and with money being very tight anger will raise to the surface.

And right now money is as tight as it can be. I visited a store in Queens that does PC repairs. Money is so tight that people are abandoning perfectly good PC’s
    They can’t afford a $50 repair bill!

The store will close this year.

I imagine the people in government think a $15 per hour min wage will help fix this.
It will not make a difference for those that make under $30 per hour do not make enough to pay rent for an apartment.

The rule which was handed down generation to generation was that your weekly pay check should be equal to the rent you pay per month.
How does $15 per hour put someone in that position?
Rent in New York and New Jersey is over $1200 a month.

As well paying jobs become fewer each year this problem is reaching the boiling point.

Now when we look at the middle east – I don’t know what mad men came up with this idea that over throwing all the governments was in the best interests of the US.

It’s only a matter of time before Israel can no longer defend itself.
Israel will be over run with attacks from all sides thanks to the maniacs that thought over throwing Libya, Egypt, Iraq and so on.

Now what you have is a giant Afghanistan!
All the things that made Afghanistan a perfect breeding place for terrorists are now in place in the entire Middle East.

    What great thinking!

All these problems are far deeper then just bad policy.
The root of these problems is a total lack of Morals through out those that support the two parties.

There are no morals throughout this government and the news media.
There is no sense of right and wrong.

There is only want at any cost.
The government needs money – open another Gambling Casino!
The price of Oil is too high attack Iraq.

France and Germany have both said they had enough.
The end is very near – look for NATO to collapse soon.

When the crash comes maybe it will fix that problem.
When bad things happens people tend to get Religious.
    They turn to God.

When that page in history turns we will find out.

The questions now are no longer when will the big crash come.
The questions now are will there still be a United States after it crashes?

  6. Colin - 'the farmer from NZ'

    Hi Greg
I have been a bit quiet this week as I have had my main cattle auction of the year happening and have been too busy to contribute. I came back and checked out Watchdog today only to see that I have missed a pretty busy week with things deteriorating in the middle east and Ukraine on a daily basis.
I can only agree with many of your contributors that no ‘leaders’ in the history of the world could be as dumb as this Obama administration. They have to be part of an organized agenda to destroy the US$ and thus erode the out of control debt that has been run up during the last two Presidential tenures. I’m afraid that there is simply no other logical explanation for the multitude of irresponsible diplomatic and financial blunders that they have made in the last 12 months.
This latest one involving fining France’s largest bank $9billion – WTF !!!!!
    [scuse my French].
The fact that the US has the cheek to even consider fining a foreign bank in another sovereign country for breaking sanctions, imposed by themselves, is quite frankly absurd to me. To make it look even worse the US adds undisguised blatant blackmail into this farce by suggesting that if France breaks their contract to supply certain military equipement to Russia they will let BNP off the hook for the fine. The arrogance of this whole deal they are trying to broker is absolutely staggering – I can’t even begin to wrap my head around this one!
The Obama regime with this sort of nonsense is telling the whole world – “GET OUT OF TRADING IN $US’s AND GET OUT NOW” .
The really silly part of all this that they don’t actually have to piss off any countries anymore to achieve this agenda. There is already a global stampede out of using $US’s for trade.
“Nobrainer” – you can stop now, you have already irretrievably f…..d your great nation both financially and diplomatically.
I absolutely live for the day that these arrogant treasonous fools, Obama and Kerry, will be brought to justice.
And remember this – I live on the other side of the world!

        G500
        Thanks for that.
The sale went extremely well as in general the supply demand equation for beef around the world is more ‘bullish’ [scuse the pun] than I can ever remember in my career. However we know that there is a very big fat elephant in the room that is about to burst and the consequences will be very messy indeed. Beef like most commodities will take a huge hit at least in the short to medium term.
If I had half a brain I would be going straight down the road to buy up PMs with any spare working capital available. I did ring a couple of bullion dealers this week and found to my surprise that they had only about 1 week delivery delay on a medium sized purchase of bullion. I figured maybe I should pass on the paper gold. LOL
I am firmly holding onto my hat as I think July is going to be a very revealing month.

        • Galaxy 500

I am not much a believer in magic sevens or grand conspiracies theories. That being said, the future looks dire for the USD. I knew Obama and his fellow socialist /communists were out to destroy the dollar and the country when they turned the SWIFT system into a weapon. This caused everyone, even allies, to look for alternatives because they saw Obama as a fair weather friend. Then Snowden reveals how the NSA / CIA forced companies to allow them to adulterate their products before shipment. Any smart company and or nation is not going to buy USA tech. Talk about fundamentally transforming America. We go from best tech that everyone wants to best tech NOBODY wants. I’d rather have secure old gen tech than state of the art stuff with built in backdoors.

There will not be a USA after the crash. There might be an America somewhere on the North American continent, or elsewhere, but USA will not survive. USA is a militant fascist empire whose only god is materialism. America, on the other hand, is a magical, mythical, mystical, spiritual place of the mind, heart, and soul. USA is no longer important because it opposes Natural Law, has no respect for human rights. It is an immoral state that will wither and die, as it should.

  8. Brian

I believe generally you offer a good balance to the main stream media, but when it comes to Israel you follow the “party line”. Sending smart bombs in a densely populated area is not a proportioned response to rockets that basically land in the dirt somewhere in Israel. You should be a little more hard hitting instead of being their apologist like all MSM is. Israel is an apartheid state. I would challenge you to do an interview with Gerald Celente who I feel has a pragmatic view on Israel. Of course he is derided as anti-Semitic for his views, but like he says, “Israel is a state and why can’t we criticize them as much as we do the US government.” If you read your Bible you will find that God criticized many of their kings and even sent their enemies to punish them. If God is still God then I believe another one of those moments is coming to the state of Israel. That should have you worried. Like I said Greg, I respect you on probably 95 % of the issues, but you need to not come across as an Israeli government apologist.

    • Greg Hunter

      Brian,
So firing rockets into Israel with a 100 mile range is OK with you? Please answer these two questions. Do you think Israel has a right to exist? Do you agree with the stated goal of Hamas on the destruction of Israel? Yes or no on these two questions please. By the way, I DO NOT agree with Hamas on the destruction of Israel. I do think Israel has a right to exist. I also think the Palestinians have a right to a homeland. Hamas and the Palestinian Authority (PA) have recently joined forces. There can be no peace when one side will not recognize the others right to exist and has a stated goal to destroy them. Nobody is going to agree 100% of the time but you somehow think if I do not agree with you I am an “apologist.” I try to be fair and objective. When you ignore major facts, as you have done, you have to ask yourself who really is the “apologist.”
      Greg

      • Galaxy 500

I would have replied but your answer is better than I could have done. I AM NOT PRO ISRAEL…I am anti terrorist

      • Darren

Greg Hunter said “So firing rockets into Israel with a 100 mile range is OK with you? Please answer these two questions. Do you think Israel has a right to exist? Do you agree with the stated goal of Hamas on the destruction of Israel? Yes or no on these two questions please.”

Greg, why are you so concerned about a nation which has repeatedly attacked the US and given our military secrets to our enemies? What have the Palestinians ever done that compares with the attack on the Liberty or Israel’s gift of NATO defense plans to the USSR and missile technology to China?

        • Greg Hunter

          Daren,
Answer the questions with Yes or No answers before any more comments get posted. If you answer “No” and “Yes” then it is clear you want war. Egypt brokered a cease-fire the Israel agreed to and Hamas kept shooting. “Yes” or “No” to the above questions. I won’t post anything other than that.
          Greg

      Brian;
The land belongs to israel, read your bible. second, gaza started this issue by kidnapping 3 isralites, then killing them, israel responded, hamas fires rockets,(they have never stopped), so Bibi, sends in the f-15’s. the hamas rockets are random, like scuds, no pinpoint accuracy, and they will hit hospitals, schools, anything, anywhere, andy time. they want to wipe out, exterminate the jews, Israel doesnt care who lives in ME, just leave them alone. You are are on the wrong side. Dont get me wrong, there have been baaaad jews, just, reat the OT, and prophets, and the kings etc. they were corrupt. israel bombed one of our ships, they are ruthless at times, shooting our ship for their benefit.

Soon afterwards Israeli torpedo boats arrived at the scene and also attacked after first being fired upon by the Liberty. The Israeli seamen later explained they …

No different than our corrupt cia.

    • Tommy

Israel attacks the places where the rockets are coming from. The fact that the terrorists hide behind women and children in schools, hospitals and mosques seems to be lost on their defenders.

      • Darren

Tommy said ” The fact that the terrorists hide behind women and children in schools, hospitals and mosques seems to be lost on their defenders.”

So if your family was attacked in your home you would run far away in an effort to defend them? And if you did defend your own family on your own ground that would justify the killing of your family by the attackers? That’s an odd way to look at things, don’t you think?

        • Greg Hunter

Let’s get real Darren. These people were put in harms way on purpose. Egypt brokered a cease-fire Israel said yes and Hamas kept firing rockets.
          Greg

    • Andrew de Berry (Rev)

      Or Craig Roberts Brian.
It’s the sheer disproportionality that appals. Israelis have safe rooms, anti-rocket warning systems, an Iron dome etc, while their retaliatory weapons are in a different league to anything launched by Hamas. And although hallelujah not a single Israeli has died over this past week the Palestinian death toll is well over 120 with a quarter of that number being children. Hundreds more have been injured with scores of homes destroyed. Nor should anyone dare to suggest that the Israeli occupation by the settlers is not totally reprehensible. One could go on and on.
Of course Hamas is committing war crimes, but when does Israeli/Zionist disproportionality equate to the same thing?

      • Geo. T (Formerly George)

Sorry but I do not believe that the response to terrorism has to be proportional. I am more of the mind set of kill then all and let God sort them out. What value do you put on two Israeli and one American teenager whose only crime was being Jewish by birth? You can not deal with terrorist who train their children from birth to hate and to be willing to die if they can kill a Jew. Arafat could have had peace but he refused a deal that gave Palestinians 95% of what they demanded.
Hamas must be destroyed for peace to have a chance.
You also neglected to address the content threat of rockets fired into Israel on a regular basis. The Palestinians celebrated when it was announced that the three teenagers were murdered just as they celebrated when 911 was announced. When the death of the Palestinian youth was announced, Bibi said he would find the perpetrators and punish them and he offered his condolences and prayers to the family. Stark contrast don’t you think? Its the difference between animals and humans.

        • Andrew de Berry (Rev)

No stark contrast Geo. Cynics would say Bibi was being pc when he expressed his abhorrence over the Palestinian youth’s death. After all other Palestinian civilians were being killed on that same day and that prompted no response from your all-hallowed PM.

          • Galaxy 500

He’s not my PM. I’m Baptist. He gave condolences to the youth that was murdered. As far as the civilians that are shielding Hamas, well they made their choice.

        • Darren

Geo. T said “Sorry but I do not believe that the response to terrorism has to be proportional. I am more of the mind set of kill then all and let God sort them out.”

God has already told you that he demands proportionality. He’s the one to whom you should apologize.

The Bible says: “Thou shalt give life for life, Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.”

Considering the current body count, God’s own rules state that the Palestinians (who are descendents of Abraham, unlike the Ashkenazi’s whom you support) have a right to retribution.

  9. bob

where to start. when you have the money, you get out of everything. when you don’t you are in trouble. the mayor is a pawn to make it all look like the they are on top of it. or he ain’t to big to fail. the middle east, well thats a lost cause and some how we will pay for it. we started it. the illegals crossing the borders smells to high heaven. do the dems need votes or is this the way we get immigration reform. mean while we can’t put our own people to work and we are going to house and feed these people. really! i don’t know play another round of golf and send the husband on another million dollar trip. bush did that golf thing too.besides ,obama doesn’t really care, except the impeachment thing. impeachment and his husband are giving him the grey hair.

    • George Silver

      @ allen ols.
I’m not for one side or the other but you state “gaza started this issue by kidnapping 3 isralites, then killing them”. How do you know this? It was in the mainstream media who told you?
      Who controls the mainstream media?

It’s too easy to say that one side ‘started it’ as there fanatics on both sides who want continuing conflict.

Remember “terrorists” are not only small time militants. They can also be states.

Always be careful when you take sides. Non of us sitting in our comfortable chairs knows the real truth.

  10. Galaxy 500

    Greg,
Once again you separate the dross from the gold. What the MSM passes as news is so obviously skewed its sickening. They have become merely another point of dissemination for the socialist / communists talking points.
Mexico and Guatemala have declared war on America. There is NO OTHER WAY TO VIEW THE 72 hour pass given to Guatemala citizens by the criminals that run Mexico.
We should mobilize military and take a hundred mile buffer zone of Mexican territory. We should mine the first ten miles of it and put armed men with orders to shoot anyone in the next 90 miles without question. Yes, its harsh but war is hell. We are under siege and until we admit it and act accordingly, it will not stop. The strategy is to make a final push to collapse the US welfare state. It is illegal for illegal aliens to get food stamps but the Obamachrist’s USDA doesnt enforce this just like the Obama administration doesnt enforce immigration, Obamacare or separation of powers. If you dont want to put the military, deputize anyone who wants to be and pay them based on amount of drugs and people interdicted. Obama is going to put off taking action until a group of islamic terrorists stroll across the border. If they are part of the muslim brotherhood, Obama will send a car to the border to pick them up…and they wont have to steal a car for their first car bomb.

    • Brian Stemmerman

The reason we do not do that is because we’re not Israel. Israel will never make peace with the Palestine. If there was piece how could Israel still there land?

        Brian Stemmerman,
You said, “Israel will never make peace with the Palestine.” It is just the opposite sire. The stated goal of Hamas is to destroy Israel, and that is a fact. Both the PA and Hamas recently rejoined and neither will recognize Israel’s right to exist. This is another undisputed fact. How can there be peace with those preconditions? Let’s test your objectivity: Answer these two questions with a yes or no answer. Do you think Israel has a right to exist? Do you agree with the stated goal of Hamas on the destruction of Israel? By the way, I DO think Israel has a right to exist and so do the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza. I do not agree with the destruction of Israel. Both parties should cut a peace deal but that is hard to do when one side’s stated goal is to destroy the other side.
        Greg

The answer is yes, God gave them that land, no. A small portion was given to them after WWII. The Russians did not want them, Great Britian did not want then and the US did not either. You are on the wrong side of this one Greg. America allows people to come into the US. The requirement in Iseral is you have to Jewish. Or, be in the corperate state. Apartheid.

          • Greg Hunter

            Brian,
You forgot that the Israelis defended two wars and land was lost by the opposing side. That is a downside of war. Please no more comments on this.

  11. George Silver

I’m amazed and shocked Greg. I used to think you were a person who believed in reporting the ‘real’ news no matter who’s interests were affected. This broadcast shows your real leanings. A spokesperson for the state of Israel. You said everything would be settled if Israel invaded Gaza and got rid of Hamas. Just remember there are two sides to every story and you are obviously taken in by the mainstream media propaganda. Where do you actually get your information that Israel is the ‘victim’ in all of this? Israel has a past history of always making sure they promoted themselves as the victims.
In your own words “I think it’s outrages” that you are so biased.
I am not a supporter of either side and nor should you be. “It’s outrageous”.

    • Greg Hunter

      George,
What country (Gaza/Hamas)gets to fire missiles into another country and are considered the victim? I think Israel has the right to exist and so do the Palestinians. The stated goal of Hamas is to destroy Israel and will not recognize its right to exist. So answer these two questions: Do you think Israel has a right to exist? Do you agree with the stated goal of Hamas on the destruction of Israel? Yes or no on both please, and we can find out how objective you are sir.
      Greg

        • Greg Hunter

Totally one sided comment. This could stop today if Hamas would stop firing missiles from schools and charitable association for the disabled. Hamas is firing dozens of rockets a day into Israel and that is an act of war even if you want to gloss over it. Saying “Looks like your wish is coming true Greg.” Is Implying I want Palestinians to die and that is an outrage!! Who do you think you are? That’s right out of the BS social fascist playbook and you try to unfairly discredit and villainize anyone who has a different view point. YES or NO answers Please. They even fired three (3) at Israel’s nuclear reactor. They hide in hospitals and mosques. Israel just bombed a mosque where the terrorist were storing missiles. If a mosque was a house of God, you wouldn’t store missiles there.

          • RSL83

            Greg,
I’ll answer those two questions. No I do not think that the state of Israel should exist as MAN set it up. I believe that it is clear that God uses other countries to punish Israel for disobedience as He CLEARLY used the Assyrians to punish Israel and Babylon to punish Judah for their sins, idolatry and serving other gods in the Old Testsament. I believe that you believe scripture from your comments, if I am wrong then this may have no bearing on my answers. Having said that it is clear that God originally set Israel up for His Glory. He was, and I believe still is, all the protection that Israel needs. He is Holy and Righteous and has little need for this former Republic to “protect Israel”. Or is God so small now? Also when did God EVER bless Israel for it’s disobedience? Have you watched videos of tourists, professing to be believers in Christ, when they get out of the “tourist areas” in Israel? Do you not agree that their blasphemy and disdain for Christ is disobedience? They denied their Messiah and killed Him to accomplish God’s design in salvation for not only Hebrews but for the Gentiles which is the “mystery of Christ” in scripture that Paul speaks of. So no, I think that we have been fed a lie in the church, that somehow we are to support Israel the state, when the Israel that is to be supported is the true Israel, those whose hearts are circumcised with a circumcision not done with human hands.

Does that excuse Hamas? No, but I agree with Geo T, Hamas isn’t supported by the USG, the Fed and unlimited money printing, and the military industrial complex. Also Israel has stolen Palestinian land that they were never to have because somehow they were “entitled” to it after having been DRIVEN from it into all the surrounding countries by the GOD they profess to serve. Or do you think that the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple after Christ was crucified and the scattering of the Hebrews from Judah somehow slipped by our Creator?
Gaza and the West bank are open air prisons, the Israel of today is just as brutal as any country where they control a smaller segment of the population as Israel does. I believe that God abhors the way they treat Palestine. Who is sreal to judge and where were they given the right by God to be their executioner? Doesn’t scripture teach that “Vengeance is mine, I will repay”, says the Lord. “But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him drink, for in doing so you will heap burning coals upon his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:19-21) How does this in ANY way justify what “Israel” is doing to the people in Gaza?!?
So my question to you is this, does the New Testament and the example of Christ not apply to Hebrews?!?

Also if our countries education system has been hijacked and corrupted by evil people what makes you think that they wouldn’t use seminaries in the same way? I think that the “American Church” has much to answer for, and supporting a clearly ungodly nation like ours and Israel will be up there on the list. But that is another topic…

            • Greg Hunter

              RSL83,
If you don’t think Israel has a right to exist then you should brace for war. Your views are in opposition to the Bible which predicted the establishment of Israel. You are one sided and wrong and are trying to bend scriptures to back your views. I disagree that “Gaza and the West bank are open air prisons.” They have shopping malls.

George, not sure what to make of that statement. Are you one of those Holocaust.deniers? Its the only thing that makes sense with your comment

      • Andrew de Berry (Rev)

Galaxy 500 I consider it unfair that you infer George Silver is a holocaust denier. ‘The eternal victim’ theme is one which some Jews deplore in their fellows. One such holocaust survivor said ‘Rather than say this should never happen to us again, courageously said ‘this should never happen again’. A big world of difference I would suggest.

        • Galaxy 500

Andrew type “jews as eternal victims” in Google.and you’ll find a lot of antisemitism BS. The only time I have ever heard of Jews as external victims has been by Jew haters and Holocaust deniers. Sorry, I guess.we’ve had different experiences around that.
Maybe.we know different types of Jews. The.ones I know say never again and.mean that.they.will.never be herded like sheep.to.the.slaughter. Never again will they wait for others to save them while they are murdered. Its all well and good for a jew to.say it would be.nice for it never to happen again but in my mind, thats a person that doesn’t understand what hes up against. I have meet several Holocaust survivors. I have been to the concentration camps. I have felt the.evil.etched into.the.stones.
Nice sentiments are usless in the face of people that believe their god wants the Jews destroyed. Imagine their surprise when they find out that.the. one true God is the God of ISRAEL. But then I dont imagine they teach much to children being cultivated for homicide vests. Its a waste of effort.

I find your statement about the Jews promoting themselves as “victims” offensive. You don’t know what you’re talking about. My mother was Jewish and lost a lot of friends in the death camps in Germany. You are obviously a victim of false indoctrination.

      • George Silver

Why is it that when anyone makes a statement that is even slightly derogatory to Israel the first thing a person does is play the “Holocaust’ card?

    Greg, as usual, excellent wrap-up!

    – The chemical weapons acquired by ISIS is a terrifying development. No doubt they will be used soon. God, save us all, because I don’t believe that their use will be limited to the Middle East only.
    – Talking about Palestine, some there suggest joining Russia (is it even possible and what can it lead to?): voiceofrussia.com/news/2014_03_19/Gaza-Strip-also-wants-to-join-Russia-Hamas-website-9554/
    – As far as I understand, reading various blogs on the situation in the Ukraine, people don’t see the fall of Slaviansk as a defeat – they say it’s a russian strategy to leave a place in order to preserve forces and prepare for a big battle. They did it in Moscow in 1812, they did it during WW2.
    – Having read comments under previous interviews, I noticed so much pessimism (or realism?). Of course, those who share negative views of what can happen are from the US, and I am not, so you know better. But don’t you think when/if the collapse happens, it will be similar to what happened after the fall of the USSR? The people there managed to survive and build something out of the ruins.

Greg, I have a friend with a 401k and he’s nervous to pull the entirety of this out, he has pulled small amounts from it to invest in PM’s but is cautious to pull the entirety out as he will be retiring in 7 years. Now, i’m in the understanding that when this thing goes, there are potential bail-ins or the dollars in that account will simply be worth up to 70% less than they are today. It seems to me it would be in his best interest to pull the entirety and take the tax penalties and use that money accordingly, but then again it’s not my money and in the 1% chance this thing is still around 7 years from now it would be devastating for his retirement. I’d just like to hear some comments as to what others have done. Thanks, for all you do and the great reporting that is on this site.

    • Greg Hunter

      HTC,
Both guests and commenters on this site have said things such as “you must have as much of your wealth as you can under your direct control.” Another theme is “50% of something is better than 100% of nothing.” I do not give investment advise, but if your friend thinks that he will get 100% of his retirement while the government goes broke he is dreaming. Please ask your friend: Do you really think you will get all your 401-k money while we allow the USS Ronald Reagan to float up and down like a cork at sea, out of fuel, ammunition, and food? Please tell your friend to wake up.
      Greg

        HTC,
Its well documented that the Fed Reserve is the biggest buyer of US debt. At some point, that isnt going to work anymore…I dont understand how it works at all. At that point, the govt will confiscate your 401-Ks, IRAs, and CDs. They wont have any choice. They are spending money and they cant stop. Got an a$$load of govt workers to pay.and we need the military.
Obama has already said its unfair for the middle-class to have 401-Ks when the poor dont. You have the IMF that we control talk about how they are going to have.to do bail ins here. Oh, they will give you govt bonds but it will not be at anywhere near a reasonable rate of return.
        Good luck

If your 401 is at reputable broker, take your last statement to the broker. If the 401 broker is not reputable take your statement to a local bank. I don’t understand this border issue, I don’t believe for one second this is just a random occurrence but for the life of me I can’t see how this would benefit TPTB by flooding the US with illegal aliens. Is it simply to be a bigger drain on our economy? There seem to be better and more discrete ways of doing this if this were the sole reason for it. Is it to spread a small amount of chaos for the impending collapse of our nation? We have roughly 360 million US citizens and i’d guess less than 1% are adequately prepared for what is coming, so why add a another 10,000 or so illegals to mix? Or is it simply more distraction and diversion to keep the masses fixated on non issues?

    • Paul from Indiana

It started out as a scam by Obama for the purpose of putting “pressure” on the Republicans in Congress to move his AMNESTY, I mean “immigration reform” bill through for his immediate signature. He either didn’t think anyone would notice all these kids sent throughout the country or that no one would care, since we already have 12+ million illegals in the country. Now he’s got a tiger by the tail, and it may do a 180 and get him. Here’s hoping. Best always. PM

    • JCN

I agree with you, HTC. Obama is a Master of Distraction/Destruction. He is accomplishing many goals with the influx of illegal aliens. First, you are right, he thought he could force/shame the GOP into going along with his amnesty agenda especially by using “poor helpless children”. He thought he could make this happen this summer as reports show Obama Adm was planning this deluge of aliens back in January. “Oh, how could the Republicans possibly turn their backs on the children”. We saw this is Pelosi’s comments. Second, Obama has a history of punishing those who stand up to him. So what were the 2 major states that received the largest initial impact?
      Texas and Arizona.
These two governors and many private citizens in these states have criticized Obama. So punish them with major drop-offs at bus stations and distract them. I think it is just tertiary that this increases democratic voters because there will be a backlash from black dem voters as they feel threatened. That may be a wash in terms of votes because many blacks in this country will never vote for a Republican…they just won’t vote.
Thanks Greg for all you do!!!!

Banco Espirito Santo (BES: 2nd largest bank in Portugal) Update
Bank of Portugal (BOP: Central Bank) claims BES has enough capital to cover exposure from Grupo Espirito Santo (GES). BES has 1.6 billion U$D exposure arising f rom GES companies. BES is waiting on GES restructuring plan to assess loses.
BUT EU Central banker, Mario Draghi, said earlier this week that the ECB could increase balance sheet by 50%….duh… looks like the ECB spotted BES enough money to keep it going as the ECB also says the Portuguese banking system needs to be managed…if there is no problem, why does it need to be managed?

I believe, based on analysis…that EVERY BIG BANK IS INSOLVENT, REGARDLESS OF THE COUNTRY IT RESIDES IN.

        • Paul from Indiana

This has to be the case, as worldwide derivates are valued into the QUADRILLIONS (a thousand of trillions), and they were never dealt with in the original “crisis” of 2008. It’s all been papered over with QE “money” to make the banks LOOK solvent. Best always. PM

          • Colin - 'the farmer from NZ'

            Paul
A quadrillion is such an astronomical figure that it doesn’t mean anything to most of us unless we give it some frame of reference. My information tells me that the total world derivatives are approx. $1.5 quadrillion i.e $1500 trillion.
Annual world GDP is approx. $75 trillion.
Therefore total derivatives are 20 times the world GDP or about 90-100 times the US GDP.
If you want to look at some absolute shockers when it comes to individual banks exposure to derivatives ponder Goldman Sachs – their exposure to derivative contracts are about 460 times their total assets. Lets not just pick on US banks though. Deutsche Bank has 75 trillion dollars [equal to total annual world GDP] in exposure to derivatives or 5% of the worlds 1.5 Quadrillion total. These figure are just ludicrous.
To me both these banks are ‘dead men walking’ now, let alone when the reset begins. The scary part is that much smaller banks than these two committing the classic text book mistake of simply ‘borrowing short and investing long’ will easily bring down this whole house of cards.

      • Galaxy 500

From what my friends overseas are saying, people are not leaving funds in the bank like they used to. When CDs reach maturity, they cash them in and take the money home. People are leaving less money in their accounts. Cyprus spooked Portugal, Spain, Italy and Greece. If 10-15% of the normal.day in day out customers do this the bank collapses.

You take me too literally, No, Today is the 11th.

No one bank, especially this one (although its the largest in Portugal) would probably be able to collapse the entire world derivative/ US dollar reserve system, but this could be the “Lehman moment” like Greg M says it could be leading to a domino affect. The July 20th IMF issue seems to refer to a possible tipping point in which there will be no denying this collapse we’ve been in since 2008

    “Mr. Legal” and “Mr. Illegal.”
You have two families: “Mr. Legal” and “Mr. Illegal.” Both families have two parents, two children, and live in California .
1.. Mr. Legal works in construction, has a Social Security Number and makes $25.00 per hour with taxes deducted.
Mr. Illegal also works in construction, has NO Social Security Number, and gets paid $15.00 cash “under the table.”
    Ready? Now pay attention…
    2.. Mr. Legal: $25.00 per hour x 40 hours = $1000.00 per week, or $52,000.00 per year. Now take 30% away for state and federal tax;
    Mr. Legal now has $31,231.00.
Mr. Illegal: $15.00 per hour x 40 hours = $600.00 per week, or $31,200.0 0 per year. Mr. Illegal pays no taxes.

    Mr. Illegal now has $31,200.00.
3.. Mr. Legal pays medical and dental insurance with limited coverage for his family at $600.00 per month, or $7,200.00 per year. Mr. Legal now has $24,031.00.
Mr. Illegal has full medical and dental coverage through the state and local clinics and emergency hospitals at a cost of $0.00 per year. Mr. Illegal still has $31,200.00

    4. Mr. Legal makes too much money and is not eligible for food stamps or welfare. Joe Legal pays $500.00 per month for food, or $6,000.00 per year. Mr. Legal now has $18,031.00.
Mr. Illegal has no documented income and is eligible for food stamps, WIC and welfare. Mr. Illegal still has $31,200.00.
    5. Mr. Legal pays rent of $1,200.00 per month, or 4,400.00 per year. Mr. Legal now has $9,631.00.
Mr. Illegal receives a $500.00 per month Federal Rent Subsidy. Mr. Illegal pays out that $500.00 per month, or $6,000.00 per year. Mr. Illegal still has $31,200.00.
6.. Mr. Legal pays $200.00 per month, or $2,400.00 for car insurance. Some of that is uninsured motorist insurance. Mr. Legal now has $7,231.00.
Mr. Illegal says, “We don’t need no stinkin’ insurance!” and still has $31,200.00.
7.. Mr. Legal has to make his $7,231.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, etc.
Mr. Illegal has to make his $31,200.00 stretch to pay utilities, gasoline, and what he sends out of the country every month.
8.. Mr. Legal now works overtime on Saturdays or gets a part time job after work.
Mr. Illegal has nights and weekends off to enjoy with his family and friends.
9.. Mr. Legal’s and Mr. Illegal’s children both attend the same elementary school. Mr. Legal pays for his children’s lunches, while Mr. Illegal’s children get a government sponsored lunch. Mr. Illegal’s children have an after school ESL program. Mr. Legal’s children go home.
    10. Now, when they reach college age, Mr. Legal’s kids may not get into a State School and may not qualify for scholarships, grants or other tuition help, even though Mr. Legal has been paying for State Schools through his taxes, while Mr. Illegal’s kids “go to the head of the class” because they are a minority.
    11. Mr. Legal and Mr. Illegal both enjoy the same police and fire services, but Mr. Legal paid for them and Mr. Illegal did not pay.
    Crazy, right??

In all government operations, the majority of effort goes into one of these three actions. Often, however, two of these actions have the majority of invested government effort.

I say “government” but in reality everyone should realize by now that the Columbia Act of 1871 handed over all government functions to a corporation. We have a corporation disguising itself as our government. Is it any wonder why the “corporation disguised as a government” doesn’t represent We The People?

Thats your lesson for today. Think about it. Research it. I’d be very happy to be shown I was wrong.

    Just saw these headlined today….
“Brazil will host, on the 14th, 15th, and 16th July 2014, the 6th Summit of Heads of State and of Government of BRICS, to be held in Fortaleza and Brasília.” and “Russia writes off 90% of Cuba’s debt ahead of Putin’s ‘big tour’ to L. America”

Could this be more moves by Russia against the perodollar?

Another home run Greg, thanks for another week of real news and insight.

Don’t forget, there is only 1 party now, the “government” party. The 2 party system is an
illusion. The dictator-in-chief is enjoying the facilitation of the destruction of this county that he hates.
You should have Micheal Savage on your show. He wrote” Trickle Down Tyranny”. Have
him talk about Saul Alinsky and how that relates to “Barry” and Bilary.

Greg; As usual, good presentation. You are the only journalist that probes below the propaganda that the government and their mouthpiece “media” shovel out. Here is my take on the recent influx of minors across our Southern border. I believe that there are two reasons why the governement (both sides of the aisle) are allowing and maybe promoting this influx. Reason #1 is they are preparing for a near term future war with China and Russia. The first step was to allow women in combat a few years ago. They doubled the potential fighting force with this move pitched as a “womens equal right” issue. Yes, women now have an equal right to die or be maimed in combat. The minors streaming across our border can be assimilated and trained in our public school system. Then, once they are assimilitated, hand them an M-16 and put them in combat (both male and female). The #2 reason might be to provide future young taxpayers to support our aging population.

Jerry, holy cow just saw your post on the previous interview about the July 15th date and the planned end for the United States via nuclear war. I keep hearing Christine Lagarde mention the next 7 years and that immediately sends up a red flag. Could we see Israel losing her biggest ally via US military support thus prompting a 7 year peace treaty??? Also 2017, let’s see it’s middle of 2014 if this plays out that is gonna put us at about the 3.5 year mark into the great tribulation when all hell breaks loose. And for the elect sake the days were shortened or no flesh would survive. (paraphrased) Just throwing out some scenarios here, could we really be this close to the beginning of the great tribulation? Guess we will find out soon enough.

Ah okay, I thought it was originally about the dollar collapse on July 15 happening or not. I just saw the “full tilt” post he made in a response to you. I told my friend what you and Greg replied to my question and he refuses to believe it will happen this soon. He does have preparations made but not to the extent he could, but certaintly more than I am capable of making. At the end of the day my ultimate trust is not in metals, or food supplies but in the Lord who promises to never leave or forsake me. Is anyone else here excited to live out the very faith we claim to believe? I know I sure am.

          HTC,
I think something big happens before the end of 2014. This will in turn cascade into 2015 and this trouble will make 2008 look like a party.

It doesnt matter…July 15 will pass without either happening. I do believe war is coming to the Middle East…or rather the rest of the Middle East. I do believe the dollar will.cease to be the.world reserve currency and hence its value will decline significantly.

    Hi Greg
Israel is between a rock and a hard place , if they beat Hamas , Isis will move in and take over , perhaps Israel should hunker down and stop stirring the hornets nest , they are very vulnerable Hama’s will at least talk , Isis with its brainwashed zombie army will not .
I have a relative that is a LEGAL imigrant to the USA , fron England
    THERE ARE RULES .
1 you MUST have sufficient money to live for 5 years at the state poverty level ($125000 here in TX ) you can NEVER apply for social security under pain of deportation .
2 you MUST have a medical , ($500 ) being from england the shots were up to date accept for tetanus , tetanus I ask you ! 125 GB pounds for the shot .
3 you fill in the forms and send them to the embassy ($1100 , processing fee )
4 You write to the police for proof you have never comitted a crime and send that to the embassy .
5You must have proof you have the money ( property deed , ALL bank information, letters of good character from your employer , doctor , judge if you know one ) .
There are a plethora of other pieces of information they need , (original birth certificate to name one )
You then get an appointment at the embassy for an interview and until that interview is concluded you don’t know that you will be accepted ( no refund if you fail ), then you get a Green card , which has to be replaced every 10 years and you can be deported for any offence accept traffic violations that are in record . You MUST Cary your green card at all times when in public , you Must inform the authorities if you move house , you have 6 month to sell up and move to the USA and you can not leave the country for 12 months , So there are a few of the hoops a LEGAL Immigrant has to jump through to get in .
So for being a legal immigrant you are penalised , for being a criminal hiker you are welcomed with open arms !

  28. Galearis

The border between Mexico and the USA, as it is between Canada and the USA is essentially open.
Mobilizing troops to police the influx of illegal immigrants would involve a troop presence for 1954 miles along the southern border. Since a whole division of army troops is roughly 15000 men, it would mean that each mile of border would be protected by 7.7 troops. I am guessing that a lot of that terrain is not necessarily accessible but I think you get the idea that closing borders in the USA is not going to be an easy thing for the USA to do….

    Hi Greg,

Have you ever seen in usa of europe that the killing of citizens lead to bombing entire cities it is beyond any civilised country would do. Let us not forget who is occupying and stealing land of natives here. You are very aware that being critical on Israel is not allowed by the msm as they are all controlled.
Nothing in the middle east is what it seems and the rush by the western powers (Israel) included is nothing less then total control over the resources. You might now know but in begin of 19th century Holland , France, Uk, USA had cut a deal each got 23.5 % of the oil revenue when Iraq nationalised the oilfield these western powers lost a huge profitable deal. Now they are back since 2003 nothing has really changed.

It is time to face the reality what zionisme really stands for and it is truly shocking.

        hi Greg,

I don,t think the bible can be the guide to justify the occupation of palestinian land. Just look at the map of Israel orginally it hass been
expanding year after year silently. Israel is not intrested in any peace deal they just want to have the whole land and preferable without any palestinians. I am still very amazed that in the west we just deny resistence from occupation. Really it is not normal when a govt just bombing cities and normal ppls it is not only unacceptable but it will lead to revenge. Israel is now probably the only country who refuses to accept borders and respect them.

The most frighthening about this all is the selective one side news we hear and read:
        http://www.avnery-news.co.il/english/index.html

        • Greg Hunter

          Pieter,
I disagree with you on the Bible. That said, land was lost after the 67 and 73 wars. You say, “Israel is not interested in any peace deal they just want to have the whole land and preferable without any Palestinians.” You have it the exact opposite and gloss over the fact that the stated goal of Hamas is the destruction of Israel. Hamas has recently rejoined the Palestinian Authority (PA.) Neither the PA or Hamas will recognize Israel’s right to exist. Please tell me how a peace deal can be reached starting from this vantage point? You also gloss over what Hamas is doing. Shooting rockets, with a 100 mile range, into another country is not “resistance from occupation,” it is an act of war. Both parties should cut a peace deal, but that is hard to do when one side’s stated goal is to destroy the other side. There are two sides and I think it is you who are only looking at one side.
          Greg

Actually I have seen the bombing of buildings result in the bombing of entire cities in the United States…its called the 9-11 attacks of 2001 where four airlines were “hijacked” and used to attack some high rise buildings in NYC and some military office building a bit south of there. The United States government, in response to this attack took it upon itself to put into motion a foreign policy pogrom, the high points of which entailed the toppling of 6 or 7 governments and the full on military occupation of two sovereign nations resulting either directly or indirectly in the deaths of hundreds of thousands if not millions of people and displacing many as well.

    wow and the reasons are:
    1. It’s a local problem
    2. Regulators are on the case
    3. Europe is getting its act together
    4. Portugal is in better shape

its so sad that they have to make up reasons to make us “think” we should be calm. what a joke!

It is 100% laughable that the stock market shrugs off 2.9% negative GDP blaming the weather, shrugs off the largest bank in Portugal defaulting as having the “jitters”. The market is at an all time high and the Fed and the media are talking about things being “normal”

      Greg,

Bombing and destroying houses and killing civilians by the hundreds is a state sponsored crime. Let us not forget Israel is not innocent at all, when they bomb other countries
it seems that this is the new normal (Syria) you self never made no comment about this that is was unaccceptable to do so.
Just look at the map since 1947 the borders are not there but the colonisation is going faster and faster.
Mayby you are not aware but it was Israel who founded Hamas as a counter fource against Fatah.
Israels indiscriminated killing of innocent children is terrible crime and this will lead to revenge. To me this is all planned and organised to hide the real political motives behind, it is no secret that all israel politcians always dreamed about great Israel with borders complete changed again. Many jews hate Zionisme for what is stands for and for a good reason as it is so destructive.

When you look at all the issues that are in play that are effecting this once great nation, one can only conclude that there has never been a greater traitor to this nation than the sitting President of the United States, Barrack Obama. Greg, Thanks so much for all the info. and the wonderful guests you have on your web site. I clicked on the link and listened to Greg Mannarino. That is about the best, clear, and easy to understand you tube I have ever heard. I am no economics person, but when the 2008 crash came I was able to pull all mine out and sink it into gold and silver. I have had to teach myself through sites like your in order to understand. I have been preparing since 2009. I have food, medicine, canned food ( I have canned any kind of meat you can think of), water, etc. I have been learning gardening, canning, and dehydrating since 2009. Remember canned meat will last for 100 years. There is a web site deydrating2store.com that can teach anyone how to dehydrate and rehydrate food in order to feed you and your family. Also bought more seeds from mypatriotsupply.com Remember seeds if frozen can be good for about 10 years. I recently planted tomato seed from 2010 and they germinated. I recently bought bacon and canned it also. With the pig virus we are already seeing 33% increase in pork just this year. I have also heard the speech form Christine Lagaurd and did a dry run last Saturday. So this Saturday I will do another dry run, in which I pull and extra cash out of my account, fill up my gas can and the spares I have. Also make sure you can prove that you have made a payment such as house, car, etc. from their website. If this also turns into some cyber war everything will be frozen and they will come back on your saying you never made a payment. I print off my credit card debt and my banking statement showing what is charged and what is paid for. If nothing happens, then Monday I deposit the cash back into my account. Please make sure you have extra things such as soap, razors, spices, hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, etc. And when this bank holiday happens don’t go out. The ATM’s won’t work, no credit cards will work, etc. Hunker down and keep the curtains closed and start praying.

Ah yes, Mayor Ray (‘Chocolate City’) Nagin…

“Top Russian officials have clearly stated it will not allow that to happen. I think, at some point, Russia will cross the border and put a stop to the killing and the Ukraine army. It will be a total mismatch.”

This is ~precisely~ the scenario that P.C.R. laid out months ago, and that has been Washington DC’s plan all along – to ‘pincer’ Mr. Putin into ‘Hobson’s choice’ and thereby paint him on the global stage as a ‘warmonger’, while his internal support in Russia withers for not being more aggressive with Poroshenko… ‘Wolfowitz doctrine’ personified… This is where Mr. Putin’s ‘chess skills’ are really going to be tested. However, with the latest spying scandal on Germany, I think ‘ole Vlad is securing friendships via a rapidly growing common enemy…

Sorry Greg, but I am giving you poor marks on your “illegal immigration” report today. Obviously, because you did not mention “American Sovereignty” or “American Independence” in your bewildered presentation; you have failed to connect the dots leading to the orchestrated attack on our borders by illegal immigrants.
I know most Americans cannot believe that the attack on 9/11/01 was an “inside Job” that orchestrated us into “terrorist wars” for the last 13 years. They cannot believe that our democracy (government of, for and by the People) has been purposely destroyed and replaced with a fascist police state. Americans cannot believe that our Free Enterprise System of capitalism (free from corporate monopoly) and “Fair Trade” has been destroyed by “Free Market” monopoly corporatism and “Free Trade” (multinational corporate monopolies are free to steal what ever they want, from whom ever they want, and do it legally).
Americans cannot believe that Washington would purposelessly bankrupt the USA. Debt is Wealth, they have been brainwashed to believe, as we go underwater.
Mission Accomplished!!!! Our democracy is gone, our Free Enterprise System of capitalism is gone. We are bankrupt! The grand ole United States of America, like Greece, Portugal and others is going into receivership of the BIS and the IMF (same criminal banksters). At that point we are no longer an independent and sovereign nation. Now Greg, do you understand the role of the orchestrated illegal immigration attack and secret “open border” trade agreements of the North American Union?

“Finally, former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin was convicted of bribery, fraud and money laundering. If Nagin can get 10 years for petty money laundering, why the heck can’t big bankers be convicted for laundering money in the billions of dollars?”

That why William Black, who prosecuted the savings & loan crisis, says that there should be thousands prosecuted for fraud & corruption, including our politicians.

    Why silver on 7/15 ?
According to my source the boys in the “City” view it as a better backstop for everyday trade in the U.S. than gold. That’s right everyday trade. They plan to continue to manipulate the markets, even after the dollar collapses. I had my doubts until I saw this article.
    http://uk.reuters.com/article/2014/07/11/silver-fix-idUKL6N0PM1YB20140711
Clearly they are preparing to set up shop in the U.S. The major spike in price is not supposed to happen until mid August, so I wouldn’t wait to long to jump on board if you’re planning on buying silver. Like I said this is over my head, I’m just reporting on what I was told. But thinking back, historically silver has been used as currency for trade much longer than paper in this country.

I am not sure you would be able to find some good stone ground corn grits…yes, I like grits and while I married a WV girl, you understand that Southerners dont consider WV the south. In honor of your granny, I am willing to pay you in lumps of coal or rubles. Lumps of good coal likely worth more.

One of your best weekly Wraps.
My one comment is about the picture of Obama laughing. I say he is getting what he wants or part of it. He really and truly wants to take what wealth Americans have left and redistribute it because his number one basic belief is that we took it all in some evil way and we deserve to give it all back. No he cannot get to the multinationals, or the truly rich who moved their money overseas already so he is settling for what he can do to damage as many Americans as he can. Now the black voters who supported him are finding out that he hates them too, just like the rest of us. Actually, Jesse Jackson tried to tell them. Sad but I hope his faithful serfs are happy with their Change.

Regarding Jamie Dimon and his cancer. According to Jim Willie it is a ruse so he can exit JPM before TSHF!

    Good wrap up today.
It seems to me that class-action law suits should be filed on behalf of US citizens and Permanent Residents who filed immigration papers for their relatives. There are some potential legal immigrants who have been waiting for over 15 years. Washington has kicked all of these people in the teeth with their calls for letting in these “economic invitees” and giving amnesty to those in the country illegally.
One wonders about the average American. Does she really believe that only people from central america (CA) are crossing the border? Illegals have been crossing for some time. Why is there now an exudos from Honduras, El Salvador & Guatemala? Why are gates left open? Who spread rumors to get them going in large numbers? Who gave orders for border agents to stand down? Why are these illegals off-limits to reporters, politicians, etc.? Reports are that 50% of the kids have been placed with parents, or have relatives where they will be placed. MSMedia mentions the kids but what about all the adults that have crossed, including those that are not “invitees” from CA?
Even more frightening than the many problems that will eminate from this debacle is, who crossed that means the country harm? No doubt Americans will give up more freedoms in order to be safe.

You are so right on and growing in your Light Dept.

What you are not taking into the knowledge base is, mosad is instigating this whole attack on Gaza as a big a cover up for the greater plans of attacking Syria, and Iran. Isreal is under the control of the rothschilds who invented them to start the third world war. Or, what they call the “final solution.” It is only about world population elimination and domination of what’s left by the zionist-pig-bankster-elites, the same ones who are at the center of this evil warmongering on innocent unarmed people in Palestine. They are also responsible for the junta driven al-CIA-duh killers that are murdering innocent Christian in the Ukrain. This is a war of the satanic/luciferic forces against all the good people of the world, and nothing less. Stop beating around the bushes, and instead go for the throats of the multi-headed hydra from hell.

Sometimes that leaning towards the kow-tow line at cnn still comes through you, Greg. Most of your good works are right-up and square. You have to open your mind to greater vistas and see the agendas and cover up’s behind the cover up’s and agendas. To kill a world’s people, and the world they live in seems to be right up there. Now, you must get jiggity and research to see who profits from all this chaos, and who is responsible. Report on these criminals and all the corrupted cronies and minions they control. Shine the light on these wicked evil things as good as you do.

Thank-you for all your good in stone and level works, Greg.

What a load of half informed conclusions. Stop reading all that Jewish conspiracy stuff, with all those wicked Jewish money lenders being in league with the devil, sacrificing babies etc.

Jesus was a Jew. All the Apostles were Jews. Most of the first century Christians were Jews. The gospel was only preached to Jews and those associated with them, right up the events of Acts.10. Then think about what Paul says about their ‘national future’ in Rom.11:25-29 .. ‘do not be ignorant’.

  50. pieter

    Greg,

This is what Ben Gurion had to say about the Palestians, sadly the truth nobody want to hear or read:
“If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. It is true God promised it to us, but how could that interest them? Our God is not theirs. There has been Anti-Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?”

David Ben Gurion (the first Israeli Prime Minister), quoted by Nahum Goldmann in “Le Paraddoxe Juif” (“The Jewish Paradox”), pp 121.

    • Greg Hunter

      Pieter,
Cherry picking quotes to delegitimize Israel is not going to work on me. You left out Ben Gurion is an Israeli war hero. He fought for Israel’s right to exist. Tommy, a commenter here, said it best today when he wrote, “Israel attacks the places where the rockets are coming from. The fact that the terrorists hide behind women and children in schools, hospitals and mosques seems to be lost on their defenders.”
Let’s test your objectivity: Answer these two questions with a “yes” or “no” answer. If the answers are not “yes” and “no” in that order, then you are inviting more bloodshed and war. It is that simple. You next comment is the last I will accept on this subject. (I will not post your comment without a clear “yes” or “no” answer to these questions.)
      Greg

      • Andrew de Berry (Rev)

Yes Greg but former PM Yitzak Rabin was also a war hero alongside Dayan. Yet Rabin got portrayed as a Nazi only to later get killed by a Zionist. His crime? Daring to broker a peace deal with the Palestinians.

        • Galaxy 500

Yes a zealot killed.Rabin. Yasar Arafat walked away from peace but you dont seem.to.remember that.

        • Emeth

Yes, and the perpetrators of the murder were jailed under rule of Law. That’s the bit you left out.

      • Cry Me A Ruble

        Greg,
I challenge anyone who says Israel has no right to exist. After all who put the Jew in Judea. Before Israel came to the area Jerusalem was called Salem. Melchizedek was King and came out and blessed Abraham. After King David the city is Jerusalem. Jew and Israel are as much as part of that area in name as the Greeks and Romans and their ancient history and named areas.

        • Greg Hunter

          Cry Me A Ruble,
I could not get some people to answer these two questions: Do you think Israel has a right to exist? Do you agree with the stated goal of Hamas on the destruction of Israel? If the answers are “No” and “Yes” then what you are really saying is you want all-out war. Both Israelis and the Palestinians deserve a place to live in peace. I hope it get’s worked out WWIII.

    July 15th updates –
As I have mentioned before, I do not totally understand the depth of the information I am receiving, but I will pass along what I have heard the best that I can. Please understand that July 15th is not a single event, but a beginning of a series of events that will ultimately lead to the collapse of the dollar. The code (and they do use codes contrary to the Lagarde backlash) that was intercepted was telling the elite global players to get in position. They are also telling them, to begin buying large amounts of silver in preparation for the new exchange system. Basically from what I’m hearing there will be two economic systems world wide pegged by precious metals. The east will be in gold, and the west will be in silver. It does not mean that gold will be less valuable, only that silver will be used in daily trade operations more.

Like I said this is over my head, so you can take from it whatever you like. I do know this, 7/15/14 is the sounding of the gun, and things will be coming in waves much quicker after that. I anticipate that the elites are positioning themselves for panic buying in silver by mid August. That is my take. You also might find this interesting.

I wanted to bring up something with regard to the back & forth above concerning Israel and the ‘Palestinians’ only to clarify what is and what isn’t.

It is said that the choice of words frames a debate, and once a debate is ‘framed’, well…

There is no such ethnic race of people known as ‘Palestinian’. Palestine is an ancient region. Today, ‘Palestine’ is comprised mainly of Jordanian Arabs. Yasser Arafat brilliantly parlayed the term to conflate Arabs who lived in the region of ‘Palestine’, with a separate ethnic subset of indigenous people.

Worldwide acceptance of the term ‘Palestinian’ within the context of Arabs vs. Jews, has afforded a level of ‘sympathy’ towards ‘Palestinians’ that would have otherwise not. This dynamic has effectively painted Israel as being on the offensive against a tiny, helpless demographic of people, when in fact it’s an entire swath of surrounding nations comprised mainly of like-minded Arabs…

Whether or not Jews have a right to their strip of land, or if it was ‘stolen’ from the ‘Palestinians’ or another Arabic tribe is a discussion for another time, but addressing the situation from the standpoint of accurate definitions and terminology is a vitally important component to understanding and addressing the situation as a whole.

    • Felicia

Agent P, a Christian Arab pastor, JD Farag, spoke on that subject, backing up you point. Actually , he spoke on the 3 myths of the Israel-Hamas conflict. The first myth was there being a Palestine & t.f. Palestinians. As you said, he Mr. Farag said they are Arabs. Here’s his talk on that subject: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=599nrAMBayI&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Over the following 2 weeks & posted onhis YouTube channel he talks about the other 2 myths…#2 – Allah & God are the same and #3 – that there can be a 2 state solution.

Another Crisis. It was outrageous in 2009 when Which Way Home aired. All the human trafficking, rape, deaths from jumping on trains, the beatings were documented, filmed. Where were the politicians? When I wrote in 2009, I received a reply…Good to hear from constituents, thank you for the info, now fark off.

So what is different? Ah, it is the run up to a presidential election. I was not supposed to get upset then, now I can be livid. And after the election, it will all go away, be fixed and there will be no one upset. Yeah, I am that cynical.

In 2000, I got upset at going on a job site and no one speaking English. I call ICE. We do not deport them unless they do something illegal. Hello…they are here illegally. We mean something like getting arrested for a felony.

If you want to see the borders sealed, I suggest you watch the Canadian border on July 24. Canada has organized a relief effort to bring a convoy of water to Detroit citizens under the banner, Our Water is Their Water. I can see the politicians sealing the border to prevent that. They have no compassion, and absolutely NO SHAME.

Right now, I have to leave all the baggage behind and concentrate on how to keep my family and friends safe during this collapse. It is getting worse day by day, but we have not hit bottom yet.

Sorry for all the negative waves.

    • Galaxy 500

I dont.pay my.water.bill, they.cut my water off. Did you miss where the deadbeats pay.the same or next.day.after their water is cut off? The Detriot water system is owed 92 million. Maybe I missed.it, does the.constitution guarantee free water…you know I missed the part about free health care, too.

    • e sutton

Convoy of water? As in bottled Evian water? Why can’t the denizens of Detroit pay for their own water? Isn’t Detroit, oh, I don’t know, like right next door to a gigantic, fresh water lake? Why do they need Canadians or anyone else for that matter to bring them water?

The “problem” with the border is and has been planned. The Republicans want the cheap foreign labor. The Democrats want immigrant votes in exchange for all the freebies and benefits. Did you really think any of them care about what you want or were serious about wanting to “save” your Social Security? Your purpose in this land, as well as mine, is to be the milk cow to pay for all of this. Your opinion (and mine) in this matter is of no importance to them.

David Icke has compelling thoughts on Islamic State and why they have come this far, I thought I came a long way to question how two tin planes can knock down three towers and resolve that they couldn’t, but David Icke is positively electric in his analysis. Video is 20 minutes long.

Once you realize that our country is being destroyed intentionally, all of these actions make sense. Until then, it seems the people in office are stupid. But Congress supports Mister Obama for a reason. We just don’t know what it is. He has certainly committed high crimes and misdemeanors, but something more important to Congress motivates them to omit taking action against him. You can be sure that the immigration crises is not humanitarian in nature but is being done for a reason, to achieve a goal of destruction. The claim that it is humanitarian is because gullible citizens who speak out on the basis of their emotions will be more easily manipulated by that claim, and those who know better will have to overcome them to get anything done. At this point, it isn’t worth the risk to take action. But that will happen, and by the time it does, our population will be divided and our nation will be no more. It will be very clear.

Thanks Greg for daring to wrestle with the hugely emotive subject of Israel/Gaza. Tempers or heightened emotions can fray easily when we all feel so utterly helpless and when as you say, irrespective of which position one supports ‘there’s plenty of sin going around’. Violent extremism is everywhere. The attorney general has even recently acknowledged that lone wolfs are a very large concern. I certainly hope we can get to them before they get to us. As the attorney general has said, it only takes one or two of these bad guys to wreak extreme havoc and the terrorist organizations have many more terrorists at their disposal. I fear that one day we will wake up to extreme planned attacks all across the country. Can you imagine what it would be like to have mushroom clouds in every major city preceded by ebola dn anthrax outbreaks everywhere ? They could sabatoge our water supply, our food suppply, our lakes and rivers, our schools. Please people ! Please ! Please ! Please ! Report anything you see that is suspicious !
