Financial Repression as Far as the Eye Can See-Axel Merk
By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com
Money manager Axel Merk says everyone should pay attention to recent comments made by former Fed Chief Alan Greenspan. Merk points out, “Greenspan said the balance sheet of the Fed is a pile of tinder that waits to be lit, and inflation will have to rise. A few days later when he was asked about those comments, he doubled down, and he said he didn’t think we could have a Fed exit without turmoil. (more…)

By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com 11/7/14
The Republicans now control both the Senate and the House. The mainstream media said it would be close, and it turned into a blowout. Now, all the blocking that outgoing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was doing for President Obama is going to be unblocked, and expect many pieces of legislation to land on the President’s desk. (more…)

By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com
Real estate expert Fabian Calvo says forget about the Fed’s recent announcement that it was ending its QE, or money printing program. Calvo contends, “Anyone who thinks the Fed is not somehow fueling the money printing through currency swaps taking place in Japan or in Europe right now is just fooling themselves. (more…)
Damage Control Going to Wear Off in 2015-Warren Pollock
By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com
Multifaceted analyst Warren Pollock says the “damage control is going to wear off in 2015.” Pollock explains, “If you look at the role of the President of the United States, his primary role is to be the public relations officer for the status quo. At the turn of the Bush Administration, as that administration failed, there was a lack of damage control. We are going to see the same thing as Obama leaves office timed to the end of 2015. There is a tremendous amount of effort to protect vested interest that goes on within the White House, and they will do anything to stop things from coming unglued. (more…)
WNW 164-Ebola Circus Continues, Fed Ends QE, Obama Care Cost Update
By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com
The Ebola circus continues, and the Obama Administration officials look like clowns. Let’s just take a look at a few of the headlines. “Health System Not Prepared for Ebola” is a headline from the AP, and that is in stark contrast to what we have been told. “Small clusters could overwhelm the system” is what the article says. So, this begs the question of why no quarantine? (more…)
Disorderly Reset Coming-Dollar Goes to Zero-Egon von Greyerz
By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com
Wealth preservation expert Egon von Greyerz is not bullish on the U.S. dollar. Greyerz explains, “More and more countries are trying to go away from the dollar, and I think the days of the dollar are counted. I think the dollar is going to start falling rapidly in coming months and years. Of course, it already has fallen dramatically in the last few decades, but that will now accelerate. (more…)
Global Economy Has Collapsed-Andy Hoffman
By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com
Financial analyst Andy Hoffman says the real global economy is in deep trouble, which is much to the chagrin of the Fed. Hoffman explains, “Recall last April, they started smashing gold and started with the ‘taper’ talk. The Fed figured by about this time, they’d be ready to start hiking rates. The fact is the global economy has collapsed. Our real economy has collapsed. Forget the fake PMI numbers or their ridiculous employment numbers. The economy of the world is getting worse and worse and worse. (more…)
WNW 163: No Ebola Travel Ban, Terror in Canada and NYC, Financial War
By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com
Another week, another Ebola infection. This time, in crowded New York City. This after the government declared “U.S. Ramps up Fight on Ebola.” This time, a young American doctor who returned after treating Ebola victims in West Africa. I cannot believe we do not have a travel ban and/or mandatory quarantine and testing for everyone coming from West Africa. It seems too stupid to be stupid to “keep track” of people when we could just stop people from coming here, and we would not have to “keep track” of them. (more…)
Permanent Damage to US Economy-Michael Snyder
By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com
Michael Snyder is a self-proclaimed “truth-seeker” and financial writer who says there is no recovery on Main Street, and we are not going to get one—ever. Snyder contends, “We’ve had permanent damage to the U.S. economy. It’s kind of like going to the beach, and you build a sandcastle. The waves start coming in, and the sandcastle is not going to be destroyed by the first wave. Then, more waves will come in, and eventually the whole sandcastle will be wiped out. That’s kind of what’s happening to the U.S. economy. (more…)
Dollar is The Weak Spot for US-Paul Craig Roberts
By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com (Early Sunday Release)
Former Treasury Secretary Dr. Paul Craig Roberts says all U.S. financial policy revolves around propping up the dollar. Dr. Roberts contends, “I’ve always said the whole system is rigged. It’s a house of cards, and the weak spot is the dollar because they cannot print foreign currencies for which to buy dollars. So, if there is a worldwide run on the dollar, they lose control then. In the meantime, they have all these things they can do to counteract the direction of the markets, and I expect them to continue doing that.”
WNW 162: Ebola Gets Worse (Airborne?), Putin War Talk and Harvey Organ Update
Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com
I know you have been hearing all about Ebola, and it looks like things are getting worse, not better. Look at this headline from USA Today “10,000 Cases of Ebola per Week.” That’s what the World Health Organization says we could be getting in West Africa in a few months. So, why are there no flight restrictions out of West Africa? Do the dimwits at the CDC not understand the concept of quarantine? (more…)
Reality of No Economic Recovery Means Collapse-John Williams
By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com
Economist John Williams is sticking by his assessment that the economy is in deep trouble. Williams says, “What we are seeing is a very big fiction by the financial media and the political media that the economy has recovered. The economy has not recovered. . . . We are seeing all sorts of things that indicate the economy is not recovering and never has recovered, and it is turning down again.”
You Can See This Collapse Coming A Mile Away-James Rickards
Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com (Early Sunday Release)
Best-selling author and financial expert James Rickards contends a big financial crash is locked in. Rickards says, “Everyone is waiting for some blunder down the road, and the point I try to make is the blunders have already been made. The blunders have already been built into the system. You can see this collapse coming a mile away. . . . Using science, we can’t say very much about the timing, but we can say a lot about the magnitude. This will be the greatest financial collapse in history. I am quite sure about that, but I am not sure about the timing. . . . (more…)
WNW 161: Ebola Update, War on ISIS and Obama Criticism
By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com
It’s all Ebola all the time. The Obama Administration got this wrong from the beginning. It told us there was very little chance of a case getting to the U.S.–wrong! Then they told us there was little chance of it becoming an epidemic–again, wrong! If that was the case, the head of Health and Human Services would not be saying there may be other Ebola cases in the U.S. Also, the head of the CDC would not be comparing Ebola to the AIDS crisis. (more…)
Big Nuclear War Coming-Charles Nenner
By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com
Legendary financial analyst Charles Nenner thinks the biggest threat is global war. Nenner explains, “If you look at a war cycle of a hundred years, I predicted in the second decade of this century that we were going to have a big war. If you go back a hundred years ago, you had the First World War, which led up to the Second World War. That was a big war. A hundred years before that, we had a big war in 1812, and you had Napoleon in Europe in 1814. . . . Every second decade of a new century, you have a big war. So, what keeps me up at night is the underestimation that we are going to have a big war. . . . (more…)
