Renowned Boston University Economics Professor Laurence Kotlikoff is running for President with a write-in campaign. He says we need an economic expert, not a politician, to fix our severe financial problems.  Dr. Kotlikoff explains, “Our democracy is in trouble.  We have 14% of the electorate who have chosen Hillary Clinton for us to vote for, and a different 14% have chosen Trump to vote for.  The vast majority of the population realizes neither Clinton nor Trump are qualified.  Just on the economic front, these folks have no idea how fiscally sick our country is.  (more…)

Financial System Will Collapse Just a Matter of When-Laurence Kotlikoff

Renowned economist Laurence Kotlikoff recently testified at the U.S. Senate about the runaway U.S. budget.  How bad is it?  Kotlikoff says, “I told them the real (2014) deficit was $5 trillion, not the $500 billion or $300 billion or whatever it was announced to be this year.  Almost all the liabilities of the government are being kept off the books by bogus accounting. MSM Covers Up $21 Trillion Historic Government Fraud – Dr. Mark Skidmore

By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com (Early Sunday Release)

Michigan State Economics Professor Mark Skidmore has revealed there was $21 trillion in what he calls “missing money” from the Department of Defense (DOD) and Housing and Urban Development (HUD). He and a team of academics used publicly available government accounting reports and revealed their results in late 2017. Now, the mainstream media (MSM) has picked up the story. Instead of sounding the alarm to the public, the MSM says it’s basically all a big mistake and is discounting the biggest accounting fraud in the U.S. government history. Is the MSM trying to cover up and kill this story? Dr. Skidmore says, “They are trying to kill this story, but I don’t think they have killed this story. . . . Basically, what they said was this was just all ‘plugs’ and there is a mix-up in the transactions. It’s really not that big of a deal. They did say it was $21 trillion in transactions that cannot be verified, but discounted it fully.”

WNW 182-Netanyahu & Coming War, Fed Confusion, Drought in West

4By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com  3/20/15

The big story this week is the election win of Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel, and the implications for the Middle East.  I predicted that the meddling Obama supporters were doing in Israel would backfire, and it did–big time.  Netanyahu won, so now what?  A Palestinian peace deal has moved to a back burner.  Some in the press have reported Netanyahu has cancelled the so-called two state solution to form a Palestinian state.  That is not really accurate. Dollar Alternative Anyone?

By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com

Countries around the world have been actively seeking ways to not do business in dollars for the past few years.  The U.S. dollar is the so-called world reserve currency, but the big question is for how long?  China and Japan are beginning to shun the dollar in trade between the two countries.  Mind you, this is the 2nd biggest economy in the world doing business without dollars with the 3rd biggest economy in the world.  Russia and China, also, have an agreement to not use the dollar, and even India recently announced it would trade gold for oil with Iran.  (more…)

Irene was the big story this week.  It was bit over hyped by the MSM for some areas and under-hyped for others.  It did cause several billion dollars in damages.  Isn’t it funny how the mainstream media is all hands on deck for a storm that caused several billion bucks but it will hardly report the recent disclosure of $16 trillion in Fed bailouts during the financial crisis?  Gaddafi has a week to surrender.  (more…)

By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com

There are plenty of folks flocking to the internet these days to tell the world why gold and, particularly, silver are finished as an investment and wealth protection opportunity.  Some are even screaming to sell now before gold and silver prices tank.  To give you an example of what I am talking about, I want to share a comment with you from a reader named Michael.  (more…)

Insanity or Ingenious?

By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com

What is happening in the economy is signaling enormous changes for the U.S. and the world.  The scale of what the Federal Reserve is doing is unparalleled in human history.  No country has ever produced so much money and so much debt in such a short amount of time.   The Fed has embarked on another round of money printing (Quantitative Easing or QE2).  (more…)

Is Gold in a Bubble?

By Greg Hunter’s USAWatchdog.com

With gold hitting all time nominal highs this week, the recurring question is “Is gold in a bubble?”  The yellow metal has been flirting with the $1,300 an ounce mark, and some folks are getting a little worried it has gone too far too fast.  If anything, gold has not gone far or fast enough if you compare it to the U.S. debt and future commitments.  According to Boston University economics professor Laurence Kotlikoff, the U.S. is “bankrupt.”  (more…)
