Dollar Going Supernova then Black-Rob Kirby

4thBy Greg Hunter’s (Early Sunday Release)

Derivative and gold expert Rob Kirby says the U.S. looks a lot like the run up to the fall of Rome more than 1,500 years ago.  Kirby explains, “The parallels with what we are experiencing today are so clear and so much like what was happening in Rome as Rome was falling.  Diversions were the way of the day, anything to divert people’s attention from the undermining of the empire.  It was largely a financial debasement.  Rome fell when they debased the currency.  That’s the major factor behind the fall of the Roman Empire.  It was the debasement of the currency, and we are seeing the same thing today.  What’s at the heart of all these issues?  What’s at the heart of all the trouble in the world right now?  The world’s reserve currency has been debased to the point that it is going to go supernova.  This is the whole illusion behind the strength of the dollar.  The dollar isn’t getting stronger, just like stars aren’t going to have longevity when they go supernova.  They get brighter and you might think the star is getting more viable when, in reality, the notion of it getting really bright before it goes supernova is exactly the opposite of the illusion of it getting brighter.  It’s what happens just before it goes black and dies.”

When will the powers that be pull the plug?  Kirby says, “They won’t willingly pull the plug.  What they are looking to do is create a diversion where they can pose themselves as the savior.  People refer to it as problem, reaction, solution.  They create a false flag to create a diversion of the underlying real problem, which is the debasement of the currency, and then they pose as the saviors or the Johnny-on-the-spot with the solution to the false flag that has been manufactured. Through this process, people tend to lose their civil liberties and their freedoms and their ability to be an opposition of any kind.”

On gold and silver prices, Kirby knows the prices are heading up despite the recent knock down in prices for both metals.  Why is he so bullish?  Kirby says, “The reason I say this is because I know people that are in the business of procuring (physical gold and silver) massive amounts with mega money behind them in the physical market, and I know these people are still accumulating everything they can lay their hands on.  They can’t lay their hands on enough (metal) to satiate the resources they have to work in that area.  Their ability to acquire physical metal is becoming harder and harder and harder as time goes on.  This is in spite of paper prices being knocked down.  It is in spite of business networks in the mainstream media . . . erroneously report that people want less physical bullion, and that’s why the price is going down.  That is a lie.  The reality is people who are in the market for physical metal can’t get enough.  It is being misreported, and we are being sold a bill of goods by our mainstream media.   The mainstream media is in bed with the ruling elites.  At the end of the day, physical metal will trump the paper.”

When does the paper manipulation in the gold and silver markets end?  Kirby says, “I still think we see major dislocations before the end of the year.  I believe people who have contracted for physical metal are going to be denied their deliveries before the end of the year.  I think this will go very public, and it’s going to lay bare the abject fraud that has been occurring with the smash down in the paper price (of gold and silver.)  The disconnect between the paper price and the lack of physical metal is going to manifest itself in a big way before the end of the year.”  Kirby goes on to say that when gold and silver bullion contracts go unfilled with physical metal, the jilted buyers will go public in a big way, and Kirby predicts, “That’s how it ends, and I think it comes this year. . . . I do think the fuse is that short now.”

Greg. I agree with Rob Kirby. The end In my mind is registered by how long a fly can live in a trapped glass.? Hum, not long. Big statements made by smart people. Scary at best. when treasuries’ start selling off world wide I will forgive you if you don’t post anymore.. Time to go underground. The lack of metal may very well be the false flag. either way a fly can not live forever in a closed glass. Thanks for the interview with Rob Kirby.

Thanks Greg for bringing Mr. Kirby back again to share his insightful thoughts.

As I watched things unfold here these last few months what I have seen is what I expected, another last kick at the can taking gold down.

I can truly understand Greg when you talk about how many in your family just refuse to believe that there me some merit in the message you are trying to get told here.

In the end you will be seen as the person that went out of his way to get this important story told.

Those of us that take this matter seriously realize that it is better to take the side of caution than to do as the lemmings do and just keep our heads hidden in the ground.

At 60 plus years of age I can state that I have never been afraid to take a chance with the hope of making a great return on investment.

Today I believe it prudent to remove oneself from general equities, pay off bills and free oneself from the banking system as much as we can..

Holding physical metals should not be seen as an investment but as a step to protect ones ability to obtain what one will need to purchase in the future.

Fiat currencies are doomed in my view. At least as they are now.

The flip side of this is the reality today that holding Precious metals can at times of strife become a great investment opportunity.

My strategy is to buy, hold and care less from day to day what the paper price of gold and silver might be.

Because in the not too distant future we may see precious metal future prices become overwhelmed by the true physical value of these metals.

In time the truth will be accepted by all.

    • Jhardy

It is a shame that so many people believe this. There is a major economic shake up coming, but it is not going to be inflation and the demise of the dollar, it is going to be deflation and a major correction for all assets including precious metals.
It is apparent that neither this man nor many of your readers has an elementary knowledge of economics.
When money is loaned, money is created. When debt is defaulted on, money is destroyed. The economic calamity that is coming will be the continuation of the process that began in 2008, only much worse due to the additional debt that has been added in a futile attempt to fight deflation. When this default happens there will be money destruction and deflation on a scale that no one alive today has ever seen.
That is why banks and corporations have exponentially increased their cash holdings, they know they will be able to purchase assets for pennies on the dollar when this process begins. And yes this includes gold.

      • Tin hat

“When money is loaned, money is created”
That is a true statement only for money backed by debt. Debt money system didn’t exist until 1980’s when we were broke and about to lose the reserve status. IMF had set up the Special Drawing Right to replace the dollar for trades before Reagan killed that with debt backed dollar.

Our friends in Europe then set up the ECB and euro to bypass the US’s iron grip on the IMF in order to protect themselves from the eventual collapse of the dollar. Clinton opened the door to the Chinese to prepare for the lost of European support of the dollar in order to keep the Ponzi scheme going. Ones have to understand that our GDP can no longer back our dollar since the debt burden has grown above and beyond a long time ago. The value of the dollar is based on usage by the rest of the world. That is why Bush asked us to be patriotic and go shopping rather than be patriotic and working harder with less pay after 911 – Our consumption of Chinese made goods (usage expansion) beat our best efforts to enhance our GDP to stimulate the economy.

I suspect we have been covertly sabotaging euro since 2002. We destroyed petrol-euro in its infant stage by killing Saddam Hussein. Goldman Sachs helped Greece to mask its true debt with derivatives deal that legally circumvented the EU Maastricht deficit rules which ultimately undermine euro at the most opportune timing.

Unfortunately , the little Dutch boy is running out of fingers for the leaked dyke. The world, especially the Chinese, was awakened to the greatest Ponzi scheme in 2009. They will no longer support the dollar indefinitely and are looking for a way out just like the Europeans.

Debt backed money is like cancer. It has to expand or collapse. Standing still is not an option. In other word, usage has to grow continuously or economic collapse. China and Japan haven’t bought sufficient US Treasury to maintain growth and that is why half of the QE3 is for purchasing of US Treasury to avert collapse.

If you want to tie it all together and hid it with a false flag………….. small nuclear bomb taking out (or equivalent) Comex related buildings. Especially where records are kept. Think Pentagon attack and records destroyed regarding the missing $2 Trillion………. All the gold/silver was vaporized so as not to be available upon demand. Hire the same guys you hired at the Towers.

    • Mike R

I think it’d be wise to wait on buying gold. Probably until next summer, bc the PTB is going to keep beating it down. Maybe as low as $900 by next summer.

  4. Jerry

Rob Kirby is 100% correct in what he has said. The dollar index is going lunar right now because markets around the world are dumping the dollar, forcing the Federal Reserve Bank to flush the excess dollars into the European Hedge Fund market through Euro Clear(IE Belgium ). But this can only go on for so long.

Greg every major economist that has written a book about the economic collapse , all agree on one particular point . That metals will crash as a precursor to the dollar collapse. I didn’t want to believe it, but the same day the Boston bombing was taking place precious metals were taking a major hit. Yes the Banking Cabal had their hand in that one, but guess what? They don’t have any control over the Shanghai gold exchange that is running the market right now.

To me this is the biggest driver, of why the dollar is in a “shooting star mode'” ( Rob Kirby lingo). From what I’m hearing this is the last gasp of the dollar, because the supply of precious metals has officially ran out. The only trick left by the Banking Cabal is some type of false flag event. That seems to be their favorite mode of operation.

    • mark

      thank you Jerry.

      False Flag Event……hmmmmm. …..YES !!
October has always been a good month for market events ( & other sinister happenings).

Pay particular attention to the locations marked for reserve currency exchange. The west has lost the entire Pacific rim to the RMB.

          Great post Jerry.
I have been watching the rise of the RMB for several years now. This document is fully supportive of the advancement of RMB and where the future growth centre of the world will be. Note how the CB’s smell FAT profits and swell to the RMB. That is a sign of what can be anticipated on a MUCH larger scale. Make no mistake….the USD is finding its way into the darkness.

    • allen ols

“Yes the Banking Cabal had their hand in that one, but guess what? ”

    • JC Davis

Jerry. I agree Shanghai Gold Exchange has the momentum ,but more importantly is the trade agreements China has made outside the dollar is the larger weapon against the buck. Europe as you know has made agreements dealing outside the dollar. I don’t think a false flag is needed. If the dollar falls to fast other currencies will fall first. However if it falls slow with other currencies increasing in trade gold will go up in value, and save other currencies from a huge fall. Momentum is the tool used wisely can save the world from collapse. Nothing can save the dollar. My thoughts are the switch to multiple currencies will happen somewhere around 2017.

Great interview. I laughed so hard when you said your family won’t even look at your site because it is too depressing. I have the same problem. I tell them it’s better to know and to be aware so it isn’t a complete shock so they can deal with it…but no…they just can’t hear it. They get that 1000 yard stare that has been described about combat soldiers in WWII during the Battle of the Bulge when I talk about this subject.. What your are doing is leadership which is a lonely thankless job. Got to have a dash of humor as well to get you through. Watching your program from Barcelona, Spain on business. Normally in New York State. Your program is a not to miss site. It is honestly that good and informative. Take care and keep it up. We need you!

    problem reaction solution

He is right, we need another false flag, with multiple agendas, to manipulate the masses. 911 got all western nations on board to start the mass murder of Iraqis, syrians, libyans, and as Gen Wesley Clark testified, (to take down 7 ME countries). I GUESS WE DID’NT GET THEM ALL YET. we need an ebola false flag, ooops, its here, we need an ISIS boogeyman false flag to keep troops in the M.E.,OOOPS ITS THERE; and we can attack them in Syria now, ‘cough’ and get assad and to top it off make more tomahawk missiles. Every event is choreographed to be a major crisis, ie F.Flag, to get more money to the pentagon, keep the dollar floating. Gotta get that lebanon yet, can’t let them get off scott free W/O killing off 300,000 or so.

I feel the govmnt oligarchs need, a haarp weapon to take out the new madrid fault, and possibly, and rouge N. Korean emp, the downing of the malaysian plane did not get the americans excited enough, WE NEED SOMETHING BIGGER.

  10. David Brown

I’m leaving a comment before I watch the video. Do any of your previous guests support a theory that the US government is actively purchasing gold?

    • Bozo

I know that the US is actively stealing gold. When Qadafi was killed, we stole Libya’s gold, then after spending 5 billion dollars to destabilize the Ukraine, we air lifted 33 ton of gold the very night of the coup, in which we placed a billionaire banker in charge of that country.

    • JC Davis

David Brown. I don’t think they are buying the metal yet the paper stock is secretly slowly bought by bankers that control the markets like JP Morgan to dump at the same time when confidence in gold gets to high. Keeping the stock market alive by making gold look like it is a unstable place to invest.

    • Justin

Mr David I believe our government is too stupid to buy gold I believe they have sold every ounce of gold in Fort Knox I wouldn’t be surprised if the sold the paint off the walls in Fort Knox. Best Justin

      • David Brown

My point is that if they were buying gold–even secretly–I could mislead myself into a confidence binge.

The reality is a wholesale destruction of a currency and social structure, among other items.

        • JC Davis

David for what it is worth/ value I would say buy land out side the city limits. Be your own banker as some have said (KA Fitz). Prep for the worse plane for the best. the spectrum of dollar exchange has already changed. Things are changing fast As I search for my old man glasses. LOL Get away while you can.

Mr. Kirby made some very fine points and explained them exceptionally well. He’s singing to the choir with me and I couldn’t agree with him more.
Greg, don’t feel that you are alone with your family not seeming interested in what you are doing as you constantly shed light on these very serious topics of dishonest money, widespread lies by the media and bureaucrats, unsustainable debt, increasing wars, etc. etc. My family and friends probably think I’m a little kooky and strange too and I really don’t care. They are much more interested in sports as well. I just don’t get it as these are not stupid people and they are my family.
I can assure you, I am far from being a nut (conspiracy or any other) and unaware about what is really going on. I have also been extremely involved with martial arts and playing tennis for a very long time, but I also have a brain and I know how to use it. Both my brain and gut tells me that America is soon going to experience hardships that most people cannot even comprehend at the moment. Even I might be somewhat taken aback when the SHTF.
The new false flags and inevitable death of the dollar will never be fully understood by nearly all people as they finally happen. The globalists will keep manipulating the truth forever and ever, and they will use their inside information to game the system for profit and control as they will seem to have perfect timing to be out of the stock and bond markets and long precious metals. They will also have miraculous timing in escaping Ebola, extensive rioting, nukes raining on certain parts of America, and who knows what else.
These globalists and their friends should also plan on being in the flames of Hell for eternity, because that is the consequence of their weasel-like cowardice and crimes against human life and the property that belongs to hard-working individuals. Our world is one sad place at the moment as even freedom to think likely to be criminal behavior.

I don’t normally post on any site ever. but I like usa watchdog and I really enjoy listening to rob Kirby. I have been buying gold and silver since gold was 280 an ounce and silver was six dollars and have never regretted my decision to do so. I believe that rob Kirby is spot on about gold spiking this year . you might think im crazy but the date November 11 has been popping up everywhere I look for at least a year.i have never been a superstitsious person but I also believe there are no coincedences. time will tell if iam right or wrong. anyway this is the last time you will hear from me . I just respect mr Kirby and yourself so much that I had to comment on the time line for the end of prescious metals manipulation

    • Greg Hunter

Thank you RJ for sharing your success and strategy.

      • West Tejas

@Greg : My source has sent me an update.

In the near future we will wake up one morning and the spot gold paper price will “crash.” We are so far into the game it could literally happen at any time whether its next week or next year but its about to happen!! Those numbers of $600 and $850 gold thrown out by the mainstream media will probably come true for the paper gold market.

At the same time the following happens:
        1. China’s physical bullion rapidly increases in price. $2,000, $3,5000, $5,000, etc.
        2. All physical gold immediately disappears and shops quit selling upon this news.
        3. Anyone that holds a paper form of gold will get the crashed paper price.

  14. Jeff

Jerry says…. ” metals will crash as a precursor to the dollar collapse “…….. I’ve always thought that this last event would be like ’78-79 just before gold went ballistic. They drove the price down to make the most profit. Bankers are greedy if nothing else. They want to make the most profit in the least amount of time. They will gladly take all your gold and miners you want to dump…… If you remember anything, remember there’s someone on the other side of the trade BUYING your gold/miners when you let fear rule……….. If I were a first time buyer I would NOT listen to Snorky. Are you going to gamble on a $100+ downside and miss a $5,000+ upside. Besides, there will be no gold for sale when the collapse comes……….The discussion seems almost silly. I’m holding an oz of gold and you, Snorky are holding $1180 pieces of paper. You, Snorky (like every else), already hold your total assets (house, car, IRA, checking acct, ect) in dollars. And you would wait to buy (some insurance) 6 months from now when gold is already 34% discounted (silver 65%) from it’s highs ?

  15. Jeff

Just read this from Bob Moriarty. I don’t especially like him because of his stance on precious metals manipulation (he says it doesn’t occur). I will ignore that for the moment because of this great article he wrote………. [ ]

I get so much great info from your site. I always look forward to see what you have for me here.
But again I read from some comments that the price of metals is going to crash and to wait for it before you buy any or any more metals.
To be honest I have been buying and getting killed. But it was my understanding that when it did finally “crash” to much lower prices it would be impossible to buy any at those low prices. I though you had some guest that said as much. But now I have some doubts. Any thoughts????

What is going has never happened in human history. This is not a money making trade but financial survival. Think in terms of ounces accumulated and not $’s. You need everything else too not just AU and AG.

  19. Agent P

How many of the ‘Premier names’; analysts, fund managers, traders, etc., over the past (3) years, have said on multiple occasions that ‘this is the bottom’…? At $1650. At $1550. At $1350. At $1250. At the lows of late last year/early 2014…? You know the names. They are the ‘high-grade’ of the gold commentariat. So then, what does this mean? In short, it means that even among the most cynical and astute, there remain depths to which this government has yet to stoop – and Stop at Nothing to protect the $dollar. The system is likely to be much more fragile than we know.

Don’t look for the remedy, the comeuppance, the day of reckoning, etc., to come from within, for as long as officialdom can maintain its chokehold on the markets and geopolitical $USD ‘choke-points’ around the globe, the status quo isn’t going anywhere.

You can $$$Bank on (1) thing however: Russia and China are Not sitting idly by amidst all the ‘hoopla’ over Ukraine, Syria, the South and East China seas – as evidenced by the most recent dust-up), and even ‘Ebola’ as I mentioned in a previous screed. All of the aforementioned represent hair-trigger events that could explode in a matter of weeks and turn what you think you know, completely upside down.

  20. Duderino

Greg, just imagine the Q1 of 2008. If you told anyone that we are in a recession (Peter schiff did) you would be laughed at and called crazy. But then imagine November 2008. Not even 1% of adult Americans had any doubt about it.

So now, until and unless there is another Lehman moment, no one will believe you. The data will always be mixed, both sides will continue to cherry pick and some people will cry out that the data are fake, the DJIA will continue to shoot up and you will continue to be wrong.

One more thing. Dollar collapse you say. What happens in the absence of dollar? All currencies are fiat. Now people like you and Peter say that the dollar will be the first of the fiat currencies to fall and there are others who say it will be the last. The distinction is important. Can you bring a guest who can talk about these two possibilities? Jim Rickards or David Stockman will be two good choices.

  21. Charles H.

The exceptional value of Rob Kirby – is his brutal honesty; then his expertise in laying-out the scope and characteristics of the economic corruption.
The Globalist Interests of the Western Banking Cartel can print or post ANY AMOUNT of conjured-up Derivatives in order to sway markets. Kirby’s assessment of ‘there are no markets; only manipulations’ is frightening. And that ALL FIAT currencies are only a derivative of the Dollar World Currency – indicates the terrible power such tyranny exerts over the whole sphere of “Western” influence.
Alarmingly, PM Cameron of England – proposing Gag-laws for those who oppose government’s official position is actually not new. Japan has already passed laws making it illegal and criminal to report on Fukashima anything not authorized or cleared by the government. The laws contemplated by Britain are already de facto in effect in America by the NSA and others.
And Confiscation? I wouldn’t put it past them either. That’s WHY people like Jim Sinclair suggest that you store PMs outside the system AND country. Remember, that Joe Kennedy had been warned before Confiscation and did not turn his precious metals – allowing him to gain, along with the government, the tremendous mark-up in wealth. Selective Enforcement of Laws has already been demonstrated by Eric Holder. Whoever takes his place will be a greater lackey than he has been.
I still think that this Anglo-American Globalist Empire system is The Great Whore of Revelation; who will be destroyed and lamented in a day – not necessarily a place or country specifically. Her lovers will go down with her. Only Biblical terms begin to explain what is going-on in this world – Spiritual Wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12.
Thank you Greg and Rob. Great interview. Greetings to the WD regular crowd.

Chars H, WOW!! SUPER POST, !!!!! TKS

      • Mark_BC

The other thing that explains what is going on is that this is what Peak Oil and a Malthusian Collapse look like, and has nothing to do with the Bible. It’s very straightforward — the US hit Peak Oil in 1970 (as the scientists warned), then defaulted on gold convertibility the next year, and has been dropping in oil production almost every year since, and thereafter i response to this problem aimed to become the world’s superpower using its military might to enforce the fiat ponzi scheme petrodollar system in order to extract oil and other resources from the rest of the world and import into the US via its trade deficit. It’s the same script that’s repeated itself countless times throughout history as empires grow and inevitably collapse.

It is unravelling now because the world as a whole is at Peak Oil and Peak most everything else. and the empire cannot grow anymore. The historical theft from the masses by the elites can no longer be offset by economic growth which allows the middle class to remain out of poverty. Now, the theft by the elites is sending the middle class into poverty. The empire is dying, and humanity will follow in a few decades. We have greatly overshot the carrying capacity of the planet and unfortunately things will not stabilize or improve until after the global population is reduced by many billions.

Personally, I have had experience with (Naval intel. service) and a N. O. C. from CIA

There would be no body found, remember Jimmy Hoffa, if the feds did it.
The NIS would make it look like an accident, reference the princess Diana.
The mafia would have blown him up and possibly burned the body.

That `Mitral or aviation aerosol delivery company did it – my opinion only.
Notice that the tapes show he was “jumped” and beaten once at a “meeting”
yet he survived with the symptoms of a concussion (I seen too many post fighters).
They then had the thugs use more lethal metal objects for the final results – My opinion only. I saw this type of stuff first hand in uptown-Wilson-Street-gangs Chicago.

One leaking 55 gallon drum would have caused the Phosgene (Pine Bluff, AR) bird and fish kill; likely during an aircraft turn – causing a load shift and a drum fracture.

If a billion dollar corporation takes out a hit on you:

  24. Silence is Golden

I like Rob Kirby…he’s one of the good guys and calls a spade a spade.
Two points that are standouts here (although there were many)…
    1) The UK’s proposal to remove Human Rights through freedom of speech/expression has all the hallmarks of a Communist Society or of a severely authoritarian presence. It is now becoming clear where we are heading. George Orwell wrote about the “Ministry of Truth” in his book 1984. The very same was responsible for practices such as falsifying historical events and for “Doublethink” where the ministry was creating/manufacturing the truth…in what was termed “Newspeak”. Are we not living through this today…especially with the fabricated data. Of more concern is that historical data is being distorted and recorded as such…for those pieces of literature will not capture the truth only the unclean version. Governments are falsifying historical data prospectively…..they haven’t done so retrospectively …YET. But I put forward that given the new power that Cameron wants to introduce….how long will it be before they re-write and control all historical accounts ?
    2) Kirby brought up Rome …history repeating itself. I am reminded of the saying……….”Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”.

How are we to know if we (or should I say TPTB) have erred, if our history is not known or re-written to suit. At that point no one is accountable or comparison capable of being made & everyone is the subject of the State. You have no right to express comment or complain or question authority. They own the data and YOU.
    DO we need reminding ….

Kirby was correct about the historical debasement of the Denarius in Imperial Rome, but what is even more interesting is how that replicates the actions of modern Rome via the Babylonian controlled US Government and its agendas.

…..Is the US making the same mistakes as Zimbabwe?

    by Patrick Barron, Mises:

I have started reading a new book about the collapse of the Zimbabwean dollar–When Money Destroys Nations, by Philip Haslam and Russell Lamberti. One of the main causes of the hyperinflation was the decision of the Zimbabwean government to give army veterans of its recent wars a big bonus. The promise was too much for the Zimbabwean economy to manage, so the government printed money…and lots of it. Why is this relevant? Well, look at America. We have been fighting wars around the world for twenty-five years and recently promised universal healthcare to all citizens. The baby boom generation is retiring and will draw unfunded Social Security and Medicare benefits in ever larger amounts. There is no way that these promises can be funded by the American economy. We will print money, too, just like the Zimbabweans. The Zimbabwean economy went into hyperinflation, because the Zim dollar was not held as a reserve anywhere in the world. The US hyperinflation may be delayed, because our money printing is being sopped up by foolish central banks worldwide in order to reward their export industries. In a non-manipulated currency market, the US would have to fund its budget with honest debt and repay it with honest money. But the chickens eventually will come home to roost for the US, just as they did for the poor Zimbabweans.

    • Paul from Indiana

Brother Al, the US is taking a similar path, but it is intentional and not a “mistake”. The question no one is asking is who will be in control when the dust settles? There is no point to the “collapse” if the outcome isn’t certain. Best always. PM

  27. Emeth

I for one am not convinced by all these arguments about precious metals. They are all based upon the idea that imminent collapse is at hand, and that gold is really money and paper money is only currency. I’ve been hearing this stuff since 2008, and I notice that many of the most outspoken public commentators on this have been losing serious money every since, and some have changed jobs or their stance.
I recall what happened in the 2008-09 financial crisis – the price of gold went down like everything else, not up. It seems to me that gold and silver are just assets, like land, food and a host of other things, and they move according to fear, hysteria, demand and other financial effects.

Also, if I look at the 10 year graph of gold, it seems to me that its price is in the tail end of a bubble, and needs to settle back to about US$800 to normalize, then I will consider buying some. The whole gold hype thing is based upon the historical fact that both silver and gold were money in the past. The real question revolves around whether they will be money in the future, otherwise it is just another asset coming off a bubble.

Lastly, one correction. The fact is that Rome fell over a very long period of years, not all at once with a currency crisis. Many factors played a part in its demise, with the Barbarian invasions being the last nail in its coffin.

    • Paul from Indiana

Emeth, you don’t think we are experiencing barbarian invasion now? The great classical history scholar, R.H. Barrows, postulated that a major cause in Rome’s downfall was the cheapening of Roman citizenship, offering it everywhere to those unqualified or unable to live up to it or contribute. That was a form of inflation. We don’t bother with that charade anymore. We just extend benefits of citizenship to any and all who wish to claim it. All they have to do is get here, and the barbarian hordes, aka illegal immigrants, are doing exactly that. Now we have terrorists, Ebola carriers, parasitic squatters, fraudulent voters and more by the multi-millions among us. Gold? Silver? Investments? “All the King’s horses and all the King’s men couldn’t put Humpty Dumpty together again.” And just who is Humpty Dumpty experiencing the “great fall”? Best always. PM

      • mark

Paul, excellent point– “that was a form of inflation”. Very clear.

  28. Tommy

How many verses are there to this song? We’ve been hearing of imminent doom for so long I’m starting to get numb. Whether it be PM’s, oil, housing, the dollar, it just goes on and on. Let’s wait and see if the PM orders can’t be filled by the end of this year. If this doesn’t happen I think I’ll listen to the groundhog for his prognostications.

    • Mark_BC

I hear you Tommy. What I do to gain perspective is do the math . Koos Jansen does a good job of tracking Chinese physical demand and it seems there is about a 2000 ton per year annual deficit between mine supply and global demand. That has to come from somewhere, and simple math says it won’t last long. Until it runs out I think there is about a 0% chance of true prices being allowed to show themselves in the gold market; it’s all paper manipulation as revealed by people close to those markets like Andrew Maguire. So I just sit tight, it will eventually end, it is inevitable since you can’t print gold; many supposed experts just underestimated how much gold was left available and how well the elites gained control of the paper gold pricing mechanism. Also I believe that China has been an active part in this to facilitate the transfer of gold eastwards.

      • Silence is Golden

China plays an active part in this transfer of gold…. too true.
However actively shorting paper gold lacks common sense though. Physical still has to be delivered. The banks going to take on that risk for China ? The Bullion Banks have the backing of the FED.
More like the banks are working under direction of the FED to manage the psychology of the market…..vis-à-vis….. USD survival.

  29. GrayMan

I read a post last night that the best option is to become The Gray Man… (or gray woman). Anybody who sticks out… it wont go well for them. I dont disagree with it at all… no way we can win. I love your website Greg, thank you for your constant effort to have the truth revealed. A true hero!

  30. woody188

Wow, Rob Kirby hit all points dead on.

We know our Internet access is already monitored by the NSA thanks to Edward Snowden. There is evidence it is also being filtered by the government as shown by their ability to make the IS beheadings disappear. This is similar to the Internet policies of India and China.

We know DHS and the FBI are actively looking to prosecute Libertarians, Constitutionalists, and others that argue the government is lying about 9/11 and the economic numbers. They are referring to them as “homegrown terrorists” and they intend to charge and incarcerate them as terrorists or aiding terrorists. This includes most of the commentators on this site and Greg Hunter.

We know there is massive manipulation in the “free markets” and that company stock prices are only high because the companies themselves are buying their own stock. We know metal markets are based on a paper price that is over leveraged up to 100 times, and currently being undervalued by many times as well. We know if you aren’t holding physical metal, you don’t own it, and good luck getting delivery on it when 99 other people have the same claim. It’s a big game of musical chairs and if you think when the music stops you’ll get some metal you’ll get a big surprise when your butt hits the ground.

We know nearly 1/3 of Americans are not working. 30% that could work are not working. Were it not for EBT/SNAP being accepted at groceries there would be soup lines miles long. But the government claims unemployment is just 5.9% and everyone rolls their eyes and laughs.

Now it seems the government is trying to make us all sick. They allowed thousands of illegals into the country, then dispersed them out across the country. Next thing we know, our kids are dropping like flies from HV-D68 entero-virus which causes severe respiratory illness and even paralysis. Then they ship Ebola victims from West Africa to the US and leave an open travel policy in place to West Africa.

    When does the madness end?

Rob is holding metal. He knows even if they want to confiscate the metal they’ll have a hard time doing so. One won’t be able to openly sell on a market, but there will be a huge underground or “black” market where barter and metal will be the currency. Governments will probably call those terrorist markets but real people won’t have any choice if they want to survive. One person, family, or group can’t do everything. We’ll need to trade with each other or we will perish.

This brings us to the last point. If we believe the Georgia Guidestones, it is the intent of the global elite to reduce the human population of the planet. War, famine, pestilence, and societal collapse are the tools they are employing. “Our of chaos, order.”

We can’t give in and allow their world government and religion control of everything. Don’t lose faith in God and each other. Others will come around once the veil is lifting. Keep helping to lift that veil.

Here is the schedule of events from the capstone recently removed and broken up from the Guidestones:
    MM = 2000
    8 = 2008
    14 = 2014
    16 = 2016
    20 = 2020
    J = Jesus
    A = Abraham
    M = Muḥammad
    JAM = One World Religion

I would have an easier time bringing a Ubangi tribesman up to speed on gold and silver purchasing than I would my family. My last discussion was met with questions like: “Where do you get your information? Why is there no mention of this on TV? Why on earth would I chance perfectly good dollars on a silver coin at 15-20 bucks a pop? Are you going to eat gold and silver if this big collapse comes?” On and on it goes.

Paul Craig Roberts latest missive on the Steve Quayle site was a real blockbuster in outlining some of the distractions and blame gaming techniques of the last roughly 100 years. I had whiplash after reading this. His parting shot was that we the people are just as corrupt. At times I worry someone will lace his oatmeal. He does not hold back on what needs to be said.

People really never had it so good with all the hand outs and they think these will go on into infinity, if they think at all. It has all been to soften us up for the butchering. I remember a time of lay-offs at Bethlehem Steel. Men at one time were ashamed to look their family in the face if they were around the house and not actively earning. I remember a father or 2 going out in the cornfields, stuffing the exhaust pipe and calling it a day. Now, they give EBT cards. I know people need a tiding over, but really.

I put my husband on a Trailway bus that went from Pennsylvania to Arizona for 99 dollars — with luggage procured with Green Stamps. Lived in one room for 10 years with no furniture. My suitcase was our kitchen table. Never once applied for any type of assistance. Today, I own my home with a paid off mortgage, 30-year 9% fixed, paid off in 13 years by making extra payments each and every month. You have to give up an awful lot of living to manage that.

I do not know how people can even begin to fight back when they are so dependent right down to the food in their mouth. My dad more than once walked up and down the bedroom hallway at night shouting: “Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa (my fault, my fault, my most grievous fault). Until you can stare in the mirror and blame yourself for your problems, you’re going nowhere.” We keep looking for a political savior rather than make do. These degenerates in DC got big plans that do not include lifetime maintenance for too much longer.

From some reviews, it paints a picture of distrust, military operations, and other shenanigans we’ve come to expect from American politics.

The problem is that robots have stolen jobs. There is no way that everyone could get by nowadays as you suggest. You grew up in a different time.

      • Silence is Golden

Catherine Austin Fitts has the solution.
Part of the solution is understanding the problem.

    • Paul from Indiana

Donna, I admire your pluck, but what good does it do, other than as a symbolic gesture, for an unemployed man to kill himself and leave his family bereft? Why is that noble? The problem is not the unemployed man’s “blame”, but rather that the government figured out it could own people via the dole! And those on the dole got comfortable and voted to expand/prolong it. The virtues you describe in the ordinary working man would resurface if it weren’t for the government buying pawns for its infinite expansion. Your words and deeds certainly strike a chord in all of us, as the frustration grows daily. I’m afraid in this day and age that virtue is passe. More than 50% of us are taking government benefits. What does that tell us? Best always. PM

  33. stingray

i am glad you tell the truth

    • Outlookingin

Donna C. My hat is off to you! Good on you.

I come from a big family of eight kids. My mother & father were born in 1910 and 1911 respectfully. So during the “Great Depression” also known locally as “The Dirty Thirties” , they had to house, clothe, and feed not only themselves, but four kids too!

At the outbreak of WW II in 1939 my father had five kids and one on the way. He was 28 years old and did not have to go. But off he went of his own free will because of his militia training. Of the 30+ men in his his outfit at the end of the war, him and two others came home unscathed. I’m glad he did because I’m a post war baby boomer along with my younger brother.

Everything we have or have accomplished, we have done by ourselves, with no outside help. Where there is self will, there is a way. Our parents taught us to be self-reliant. Unfortunately, most young people today were not taught these valuable life lessons early on and are now caught in the government web of the “Nanny State”.

      • Mark_BC

I disagree. The only way to be self sufficient nowadays is to live in the gutter and eat garbage. Back in the 1930’s the assets of the country were still owned by and large by average people, so even though they were poor, they still owned land etc. with which to work. Now, most of those things are owned by corporations and by extension the elites.

        • Charles H.

You may disagree, and welcome to it – but eating garbage and living in a gutter is pointedly jaded. I have lived in vehicles; bathed in janitor’s sinks; slept in business cubicles – and finished college. After graduation I married and had to shower in a courtyard without hot water, while I built the plumbing system for my home.
I have learned mechanics, and repaired my vehicles; and learn whatever I lack to this day, to save a buck. So puh-leeze don’t start to dance on the tombstone of self-reliance. It amounts to calling those of us who continue to endeavor – fakirs, or worse.

          • mark

Rob Kirby must be drinking the same “Kool-Aid” as Harvey Organ. Either they are going to be right and something is going to give making their predications right or they are going to be wrong in which they will jion the choir in which their will have seventeen years to talk gold and silver up again. If both are right and somethings happens by the end of the year, I will owe them them best “Gourment” meal at Mcdonald’s,( the place with the clown). Greg, as long as I have your ear, maybe you, or one of your guest can answer this question, what would keep Russia or China when they feel they have enough gold simply to “PRINT” $1000., $2000., $3000., $4000., $5000., or $10,000. on an ounce of gold ?

  36. archivesDave

Jim Rogers would dispute the fact that you can’t buy enough physical gold. He’s stated time and again he could purchase w/o any trouble but he’s holding onto what he’s got and he expects it to go even lower, perhaps considerably lower before he
begins to aggressively commence buying .
Juxtaposed, “Broken Clock Harry” Dent’s long held, (& way overdue prognosis), is finally taking some serious legs. Looks to me there’s a 50-50 chance of gold going down to $750 and the Dollar continuing up as he commands. The Dow plummeting to 6000?…Good chance sooner or later.
When the Fed Reserve finally does exhaust their bullet supply, the IMF is no doubt preparing it’s own global QE program utilizing SDRs, uber bonds, federalizing bank accts/pensions, &/or global industrial (carbon?) taxes, pre or post the Hegelian Dialectic reset/ jubilee.
The difference between Rome and the US?
The US is no longer the US…We’re now in a NWO globalized system utilizing ‘Intl Bankster Manipulation’ which has a lot more control and endurance than most goldsters and Misesians would ever believe which is why they’re now having to eat some crow.
This is the real reason why gold is plummeting.
Krugman may yet have the last laugh but eventually Golden Rules ‘One and Two’ will have their renaissance on this planet.

    • Mark_BC

Good thoughts. It all depends on if China and Russia are independent of the west or not. if they are then you are correct. If not then I don’t think it will be long before things end as the gold will run out, simple math dictates this, but it may still have a year or two left. I doubt that China is controlled by western bankers.

      • Charles H.

I would consider that China and Russia are targets for infiltration, for moles; for co-option or sabotage.

Shades of Harvey Organ, Batman! Great interview Greg. I answered your WWIII poll as far as WWIII beginning in 2015 but I submit that it has already begun. The only difference is that the three biggest bullies on the block have not started shooting at each other. (I’m sure I’ll get crucified but…) I see America disappearing as a political entity between 2017-2023 with the most likely year being 2020. Keep up the great work.

Another great interview Greg. The only thing I would disagree with Mr. Kirby is his statement saying everyone in America is required to get insurance under Obamacare. Section 18115 (42 USC 18115) of Title 42 of the US code says signing up is voluntary and if one does not sign up they cannot be fined for not signing up. Check out the federal law for yourself and see if I am wrong.

    An interesting discussion.

When I look at this problem what I see are many groups in our government trying to maintain or increase their power.
The government is so large that it really no longer controlled by any one.
This is why Obama wants to create a new force just as large as the military.

It’s to balance the power of the military.
Think of the branches of government.
They each are supposed to place in check the other branches.

Other then what took place in Afghanistan when in the history of this country has the military been instructed to leave their guns outside when a government official was visiting?

Our politicians are afraid of the military.
This could be the reason why they bought so many bullets and why the military hardware is being given to the local police.

There are so many agencies in our government that no one knows what they are doing.

Big business will use these agencies in our government to control what they want.

But overall there is not one group, person or people that run the show.

So really what our government is doing is the bidding of many corporations.
None of these corporations give a dam about the other corporations.
If they are going in the same direction it’s strictly ruled by self preservation.

If it seems self destructive to you that’s simply the very reason Greenspan said he was wrong. Greenspan discovered that CEO’s and top company managers would put their bonus above all.

In other words fast money in the form of big bucks will be more import to these than the fate of the company or the country.

Believe the fundamentals. Proven facts over a very long time frame are proof of their truth. Fact; ALL fiat currencies eventually die. Fact; ALL empires eventually fall. Fact; Gold and silver are TRUE money. Fact; Fraud, deception, lies and general criminality, accompany ALL failures of empire.

The above fundamentals are ALL in play now. When? Attempting to put a time frame on them occurring is a fool’s game. All one can do is speak in generalities. The above facts are incontrovertible. They will come to pass. As to when? Is anyone’s guess. In my estimation? Soon!

  43. Chip

One of the best interviews of recent note. Thanks. Rob Kirby is on it…

The big take away here is that these guys are above whatever “laws” they get passed. The scum of the earth is in charge, and guess what, until we all do something real about it they will remain in charge, which means they get to do whatever they want to whoever they want, whenever they want, and that is that.

I got metal, you got metal, we all got metal, we all love metal, history shows people will always love metal, but history also shows to us that at the end of the day, so long as criminals are in positions of power we will be at their mercy and will eventually, one way or another, discover that what we think of as ours will in fact be theirs …….we need to stop acting as though we believe the obvious lie that everything is fine or that everything will somehow work out okay so long as we merely profess to understand what is going on and start treating our circumstances with the level of ardor, resolve and zeal required to create an acceptable result.

One thing is for certain, the longer things go along this road the more and more steep the price of extracting ourselves from this mess becomes. There may well come a day when some of us reading these comments would gladly and literally give up a limb, sell out a friend or take the life of a stranger just for a chance to do something we should have done months or years ago…hindsight is a real B.I. Itch.

Jim Willie is a good friend and colleague of Mr Kirby. Willie has a new interview out where he now claims that the Shanghai Gold exchange will reprice gold to roughly double its current price but does not give a time for this event to happen. Does Mr Kirby have an opinion on this claim since he is a good friend of Dr Willie? I do not believe that anyone knows really what is coming next. Its a waiting game.

    • Charles H.

Likely – the Chinese are waiting until the Comex DEFAULTS on physical delivery. When people can’t get their gold – in the West – then, come-on-down to Shanghai: we got it, and it will cost “so” much. Watch all the ‘paper experts’ sputter, lie, and mislead – as the people hit the door.

This is very interesting and we all need to read it from start to finish. And send it on to everyone. Maybe this is why our American Muslims are so quiet and not speaking out about any atrocities.

Can a good Muslim be a good American?

This question was forwarded to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. The following is his reply:

Theologically – no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon god of Arabia.

Religiously – no. Because no other religion is accepted by His Allah except Islam. (Quran,2:256)(Koran)

Scripturally – no. Because his allegiance is to the five Pillars of Islam and the Quran.

Geographically – no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day.

Socially – no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.

Politically – no. Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the great Satan.

Domestically – no. Because he is instructed to marry four Women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him. (Quran 4:34 )

Intellectually – no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.

Philosophically – no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran does not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.

Spiritually – no. Because when we declare ‘one nation under God,’ The Christian’s God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in the Quran’s 99 excellent names.

Therefore, after much study and deliberation… Perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both ‘good’ Muslims and ‘good’ Americans. Call it what you wish it’s still the truth. You had better believe it. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future.

The religious war is bigger than we know or understand!

Footnote: The Muslims have said they will destroy us from within. SO FREEDOM IS NOT FREE.

    • Mark_BC

Except that the terrorist attacks in the US, including 9/11, were not executed by Muslims. Much speculation surrounds this event but the most common and likely explanation is that Jewish bankers were behind it. In fact, around 90% of the financial elite in the US are Jewish (out of a general Jewish population of 1-2%), and I’m sure we’d all agree about the damage they are inflicting on the world. This anti-Islam list is just sheer ignorance. I’m not defending Islam but the arrogance of Christians who think they are somehow above Muslims in morality is at times difficult to swallow and not in any way consistent with the historical record of Christianity.

  47. Collateral Damage

Absolutely hit it out of the ballpark with this interview Greg and Mr. Kirby.

My take on the world as we know it….

Doctor, my eyes have seen the years
Through the slow parade of fears without crying
    Now I want to understand
I have done all that I could
To see the evil and the good without hiding
You must help me if you can?

Doctor, my eyes, tell me what is wrong
Was I unwise to leave them open for so long

‘Cause I have wandered through this world
And as each moment has unfurled
I’ve been waiting to awaken from these dreams
People go just where they will
I never noticed them until I got this feeling
That it’s later than it seems

Doctor, my eyes, tell me what you see
I hear their cries, just say if it’s too late for me

Doctor, my eyes, cannot see the sky
Is this the price for having learned how not to cry

Jackson Browne – Doctor My Eyes Lyrics

    • Charles H.

      C D,

Jackson Browne saw the traces and measured them in poetry – a long time ago. Today is sadder because most don’t know what the past was like.

      • Collateral Damage

Thanks for your response to my post Charles H. But look here, this is a song by Jackson that I never learned of until today. Quite prophetic isn’t it?

        “For America”

As if I really didn’t understand
That I was just another part of their plan
I went off looking for the promise
        Believing in the Motherland
And from the comfort of a dreamer’s bed
And the safety of my own head
I went on speaking of the future
While other people fought and bled
The kid I was when I first left home
Was looking for his freedom and a life of his own
But the freedom that he found wasn’t quite as sweet
        When the truth was known
        I have prayed for America
        I was made for America
It’s in my blood and in my bones
        By the dawn’s early light
By all I know is right
We’re going to reap what we have sown

As if freedom was a question of might
As if loyalty was black and white
You hear people say it all the time-
        “My country wrong or right”
I want to know what that’s got to do
With what it takes to find out what’s true
With everyone from the President on down
Trying to keep it from you

The thing I wonder about the Dads and Moms
Who send their sons to the Vietnams
Will they really think their way of life
Has been protected as the next war comes?
        I have prayed for America
        I was made for America
Her shining dream plays in my mind
        By the rockets red glare
        A generation’s blank stare
We better wake her up this time

The kid I was when I first left home
Was looking for his freedom and a life of his own
But the freedom that he found wasn’t quite as sweet
        When the truth was known
        I have prayed for America
        I was made for America
I can’t let go till she comes around
Until the land of the free
        Is awake and can see
And until her conscience has been found

Once I saw George Bush Jr. in public office and understood where he was at for what he didn’t do,because actions speak much louder than words. I realized that there were two sets of laws here in America . One set of laws for george Bush and his rich connected friends, and one set of laws for everyone else. I was so disgusted with this realization but it is real for me now. My question is when will it become real for my fellow Americans. I hope for the day when George Bush and friends can’t show their faces in public for the public’s revulsion of them because they have been completely discredited as traitors and thieves and charlatans that they surely are for me now. Only the hopelessly stupid will look up to them.

Gorbachev One of the last few world leaders Blasts Obama as the Great Plague
Posted on October 7, 2014 by Martin Armstrong
Gorbachev-MikhailI have known world leaders as everyone knows. There was a time when before Bush, Jr., you could have an intelligent conversation with such people. Ever since, the quality of leadership has crashed and burned. One of the few true leaders who had courage and the brains behind it was Mikhail Gorbachev.

Now Mikhail Gorbachev has been a serious critic of Obama and Putin. In his new book Gorbachev writes in the epilogue of his just-completed book “Posslje Kremlja” (“After the Kremlin”). he writes: “The world stands on the brink of a major disaster.” Gorbachev argues that the only way for peace in the Ukraine and in Europe to unfold requires a new dialogue between Russia and the United States.

Gorbachev has stated the obvious that the US press will not address. He sharply blames Obama and the Government of the United States. In a radio interview he has stated bluntly: “There is today a great plague – and this is the United States and its leadership.” The former Soviet leader and Nobel Peace Prize winner has criticized the global leadership of the United States in no uncertain terms. He rejects the demonization of Russia by the United States. So far, Gorbachev had always argued more pro-Western. However, Obama is simply out of control and he should be removed from office to save the world.

Gorbachev has been a target of the Russian nationalists who want to put him on trial for allowing the Soviet Union to break apart. Yet Gorbachev has repeatedly also criticized Vladimir Putin. Nevertheless, he has stated that “We [Russia] are a strong nation (…) and have something to say,” he says now confidently.

Gorbachev is now criticizing the West and compares the merger of Crimea with Russia on par with the German reunification. Indeed, I stated from the outset that Ukraine should be split and the former Russian regions be handed back. That was indeed on par with the German Unification for Crimea was part of Russia.

Gorbachev has often voiced in recent years critical to the developments in the Kremlin. Unforgotten is the accusation Gorbachev that the lust for power of the Kremlin United Russia party is worse than the Communists in Soviet times today. Internally, they will never forget how he criticized an increasingly authoritarian course under Putin.

Gorbachev may be one of the last few world leaders who deserved that title. We have entered an era of a severe lack of world leadership. Where is our Churchill when the world so desperately needs wisdom and reason.

Obama clearly fails to understand that he is turning the United States into the Great Satin. What is emerging is a starkly different culture among the younger generation that is many nations is more nationalistic than their parents. This is happening also in Russia with what is being called the Putin Generation. We need fresh ideas and faces and a return to wisdom and reason.

          Tks Allen.
Its always reassuring to know what the other side really thinks about Obama. Difficult sometimes to separate the propaganda from the truth and reality. In this instance his opinions closely align with mine. Obama (and his handlers) is EVIL personified.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. They divide us on “hot button” issues that really don’t make much of a difference in the direction of the nation like gay marriage and abortion, then they conquer us because we’re too busy fighting over the trivial things to see how they are destroying the entire nation. Some will even argue that abortion and gay marriage aren’t trivial things. In the greater scheme of the nation’s survival, they really don’t mean a thing.

All the division makes it seem like we are voting for differences, when really we are voting for the same thing. Which globalist interventionist did you vote for, Obama or Romney?

Greg, just wanted to raise the topic … I hope you have copies of all these interviews and comments somewhere off the internet? And preferably in multiple EMP-proof locations? 51. gseattle

Have you ever noticed our comments are a whole lot merely how each of us categorize things? Much involves labels. Very little real useful info, just our current viewpoints/conclusions/opinions, anyway here’s mine…
A lot of what Mr. Hunter says is true, it is awful and we’re being screwed. And yet…
Since gummint/corps already control us a lot and we just don’t realize it, they could have pulled off an event during the last 20, 30 years to try for total overt takeover, no? They haven’t. Why? Because they’re getting what they want already. (don’t let 9/11 sway you, it was false, yes, and yet limited, a push to try to wake ppl up to the looming threat by the beast islam).
Now, is it possible that there’s actually some good pulling strings?
We’re mega negative/pessimistic. Maybe it is just wishful thinking that the sky would fall, I understand, been there for most of my life. And I’ve always been wrong, it doesn’t fall.

Lately I’ve become optimistic instead. It’s a weird feeling, I have actually changed my view of the future, from reading gizmag (I”m not trying to promote them so no link, clear? If you browse thru 10 pages and don’t get a sense for what I’m referring to then I must be some sort of genetic mutation).

The deal here is to sort of–not bathe in fear like some but–wake up and don’t be one of the casualties of the next plan to hit us.
I need more information. For example, an earlier commenter said “shooting star” about the dollar and his chart reflected that, however that was only one year and if you expand the time frame, is it really that bad? If so, can you elaborate in more detail? Thanks for reading. Here’s that expanded scale…

  52. Lew

U.S. Economic Momentum ended a few years ago (through De-Industrialization). There is no replacement for manufacturing as the engine of an economy. The tsunami of debt is only building that will crash US (the economy, Dollar, etc.). We would have been better off if they would have allowed the crash to occur in 2008. What the Federal government has done is sealed the doom for any future US economy, more importantly, removed the chance of a future for current Americans.

It is becoming obvious what the “New America” will look like, at least the current leadership (sorry for the pun) wants to see. If we do in fact become a 3rd world nation, there is NO hope for the rest of the world.

Keep up the great work Greg.

  53. Sam Grant

Rob Kirby is one of your top guests in terms of technical knowledge along with John Williams. What a great interview.
To all of those that say “Oh all these gold guys have been calling for doom and gloom for years and it hasn’t come yet (so basically you don’t know what you’re talking about)” hear this: WE ARE NOT PRIVY TO WHAT THE POWERS THAT SHOULDN’T BE ARE DOING! Those experts in the precious metals camp are all doing the best they can with the information they have being on the OUTSIDE of the game, to try and figure out what “they’re” going to do next! But one thing is for certain, the gold and silver prices are being manipulated down because they are the garlic to fiat currency’s vampire. If PM prices are allowed to rise to where thy should be, they would expose fiat currencies for what they are – worthless pieces of cotton with criminals’ faces on them to make them appear legitimate. So come ON. Give everyone a break.
At least the gold/silver experts are trying to protect your future. As our dollars become worthless (pretty darn close to zero now), the purchasing power of our silver and gold doesn’t – as Greg continuously points out!
No one knows how long this criminality will/can last but it is a mathematical CERTAINTY it will end. As Andy Hoffman says, “Economic Mother Nature always wins out”.
This latest smash in the gold/silver prices obviously shows how desperate TPTSB are to provide physical metals to the markets that want them because THERE’S NONE LEFT AT THE FED, FORT KNOX OR THE COMEX. So if you don’t need to sell your metals to pay bills etc., then don’t! Waiting doesn’t cost anything.
As for me, wild horses couldn’t drag my metals away from me. This latest smash (and any possible future smashes) just tightens the spring that much more for when it breaks apart and rockets PM prices to the moon Alice!

Kirby’s response to the potential nationalization question is inadequate. Since December 2004, anyone who’s read my research can see that the government is not the threat—it’s a group calling itself “The Pilgrims Society” that is the threat. They even have the President as an “honorary” member—see the image I fed into the web. They use government power to block capital formation outside their influence circles. The excuse for seizing gold would be “we have to have it for monetary use,” the silver excuse would be “we have no military silver reserve, we have to have silver for the military.” This is the same bunch who gradually depleted the former 165 million ounce reserve for price suppression. When they can’t suppress prices, that’s the time they use the President to nationalize silver/gold (at “non-inflationary” rates), hollering about “national emergency.” David Rockefeller has been a Pilgrims Society member since at least 1949, and that’s the only group he belongs to which he omitted from his “Memoirs,” because it controls the other groups. Paul Volcker, who insured that 59MOZ silver was stripped from the Hunts by 1986, was a member at least as of 1980—the last leaked roster we’ve located. It would be useful if people concerned with property rights would help expose these Pilgrims, who are easily history’s biggest thieves. Volcker is all over the Obama White House, as are other members. The group speaks of “the seizure of the wealth necessary” (Review of Reviews, New York, May 1902, pp556-558). Blocking a second precious metals nationalization depends on this group being hesitant to pull this stunt again. FDR’s son and daughter in law also became members.

Even our criminal oligarchs know the music will eventually stop and only one chair will be left. They are playing this game of chicken for all its worth and rely on our lack of courage and perception to bluff us into submission.

It has not gone to their plan, thus money printing and war are the only lame tools left for their survival. 300 years of foiled manifest destiny expectation, is a very dangerous outcome for the whole planet.

Technology exists to manufacture gold. The real value or price of gold is the mining and refining cost of gold. By manufacturing gold, the cost price of gold is reduced, and the higher the retail price, the higher the profits. The London gold price has nothing to do with the real value of gold.

    1. You can’t trust the advice of guys talking their own book. They are almost always wrong. (99% of the Gold & Silver Guys. 99% of the Stock Guys. 99% of the Bond Guys.)

    2. You can trust the advice of guys who follow the broad market and base their forecasts on time tested trends and cycles. (e.g.: Nenner and Armstrong)

Sure, the dollar will eventually crash. But not *now. The entire world will have to be in flames before the dollar loses traction. Until that time, keep stacking but make your money by realizing that capital inflows into the USA will keep a’ coming and we may see a super-charged dollar in the very near future.
